Loved the food, ambiance and everything at amrit Palace. Specially loved their mixed platter, chicken tikka, and daal soup as the side. mango ice cream, and mango cheesecake is the best i ever tasted in my life so far. Staff was so friendly and so good. Hats off to them. As it was my brother’s birthday and whole staff turned it into a memorable night♥️♥️♥️ Truly grateful for their positivity and warmth so many nautical miles away from home. Godwin served us and he was too good at his job. 10/10 for his service and special thanks to him.

Took us about 1.5 hours to get here, but totally worth the drive! The ambience is absolutely beautiful and the food was delicious. Every dish we tried was spot on. Tushar was our server and he was wonderfully attentive—really made the experience even better. Overall the service is great! We ordered the cheese pakodas, butter chicken, garlic naan, dal tadka, and ended with some tasty gulab jamun. Everything was impressive. Definitely a place worth traveling for! ✨💯

Isabelle was our server, she did phenomenal! Really made the entire experience so much better! The food was amazing too, all of the flavors were so good and the spice was perfect! It wasn't just spicy for the sake of spicy, it had great flavor and depth. Their rice was cooked to perfection as well! Our whoel family loved it, went there for a birthday and the birthday girl said it was her favorite dinner yet!

Kiran was a great server very attentive. I really love the ambiance of the restaurant, the food was really great. Located on hwy 200 not that far from chuck e cheese and Lowe's shopping plaza. For dinner we ordered Lamb Rogan josh, shrimp masala, lamb vindaloo with basmati rice, crispy cabbage and chickpeas salad with mango vinegrette I was very pleased with everything and very surprised with the birthday song. If your in the area definitely come grab something great to eat. This is MY first time here but it surely won't be the last.

This was an incredible experience from start to finish. The ambience of the restaurant is so pleasurable and the service was impeccable. Kiran took exceptional care of us and was helpful in explaining some of the dishes that were new to us. My Rogan Josh was absolutely phenomenal!! The Chole Palak and Aloo Gobhi and garlic naan were delicious. This was our first visit but will not be our last and we are delighted to have such fantastic Indian cuisine in Ocala.

Food was wonderfully aromatic and flavorful. The butter chicken was tender and the dinner special was enough to feed 2 people. Clean and beautiful atmosphere and the service was so attentive and even thoughtful when giving you your to go items. Maureen was so exceptional and informative when making my dinner choices. Truly one the best Indian food ive eaten in Florida and A+ service.

We loved the place. My husband and I went and ordered the sharing platter, which is perfect for two people and has different dishes, excellent flavor, and great service. Kiran served us, and he was very friendly, attentive, and gave us great recommendations, very good prices with good portions. The atmosphere is very relaxing and family-friendly, we really liked the decor.

We ordered Chicken Masala, Lamb Biryani, Chicken Biryani, sambosa, and garlic bread. Everything was very good, except the garlic bread, which wasn’t our favorite. The portion sizes were generous, we really enjoyed the meal, and my kids loved the food.

We had our Saturday lunch at this beautiful restaurant. The restaurant menu was limited but the food was delicious and served with etiquette. Our server Tushar made sure that we get food taste according to our preferences. I believe overall the restaurant is good. We had good time.

The food is so flavorful and satisfying. Our server Kiran was very attentive and provided outstanding service. The ambiance was perfect for our celebratory lunch. We will be back and definitely recommend!

We have ordered from Amrit on several occasions before (butter chicken, garlic naan and mango lassi). It was always delicious. So today, we decided to try it in person and it did not disappoint. From the cozy and inviting decor and atmosphere, to the delicious food and phenomenal service from Sam, I highly recommend Amrit either as take out or dining in. My husband and I ordered the variety appetizers dish. We absolutely loved the paneer fritters and this fried vegetable type of pancake. We decided to try something new and ordered methi chicken and the mixed tandoori. Everything was fantastic! Fresh and servings were generous. We will definitely be coming more often in person because it was 10/10! Ask for Sam too! He was a fantastic server. Friendly, attentive without being overbearing and pleasant.

Always excellent food! I've been coming since they opened. Fresh, tasty, and your choice of spice levels. Medium spice level is my favorite for most of their dishes, but if you're not accustomed to Indian food, make it mild or ask for help when ordering.

Godwin made some excellent recommendations and I had an amazing meal. Had never tried the chili chicken, chic pea salad or mango cheesecake before and the chicken masala and garlic naan were as good as they've ever been. Would highly recommend.

Kiran, our waiter was so attentive and helpful! I’m vegan, and he recommended some amazing dishes! Everything was delicious and served promptly. He noted options that gave us a great value too! I can’t wait to go back and try some more dishes! My daughter, who is not vegan also loved her lamb dish as well!

A Wonderful Dining Experience at Amrit Palace – A True Gem in Ocala We had a lovely evening at Amrit Palace in Ocala, and I can’t say enough good things about it. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the beautiful decor — elegant, inviting, and clearly cared for by people who take great pride in what they do. It's no surprise they’ve been in business since 1996 — this place has heart. Our server, Godwin, was exceptional. Warm, attentive, and professional, he made sure everything flowed smoothly and made us feel completely at ease. The service was top-notch from start to finish. The food was delicious, and just when we thought the evening couldn’t get any better, we ended with their homemade mango ice cream. My husband, who is quite the ice cream connoisseur, declared it the best he’s ever tasted — rich, refreshing, and full of pure mango flavor. If you're in the area and craving Indian cuisine, this is a must-visit. Don’t just take my word for it — see the photos I’ve attached to my review. They speak volumes.

I cannot say enough good things about Amrit Palace! We live in Lake City (about 1 hour and 15 min drive for us) and have been coming here for years. If we have to go anywhere near here and don’t have time to dine in, we will call in an order and pick it up. The food has always been outstanding!!! We have tried many new things and we know it will be authentic in taste and presentation. Speaking of presentation…they remodeled within the last year and the furnishings, fixtures, and tableware really provide a beautiful atmosphere! Kiran was our server today and he has waited on us several times before. Even though sometimes we probably haven’t seen him in more than a year, he always makes us feel very welcome and it’s like he remembers us every time. He will make sure you have a pleasant dining experience!!

I went there with my co-worker to celebrate my bday it was in September but because our different schedule we had to wait until October and let me tell you, Besides Bombay Darbar in Miami, Amrit Palace is one of the best Indian Restaurant in Central Florida, the experience was fantastic, the ambience is good you can feel a quite spirit of peace, the service was exquisite and the food is fantastic and the staff is amazing but especially Kiran, he made it a pure delight and went beyond during our staying there, we start with their Taj beer and then appetizers until the main dishes, I fully recommend Kiran and of course the restaurant as well. SUPER AMAZING!!!!

Came here on a Tuesday night with my family and we had a great experience. The food was very good, it came out fresh and delicious. The place was also decorated beautifully. Godwin was our server and he was great!!! We will definitely be back.

The ambiance and decor here are so well done, and the service and food were excellent . I haven’t had sides (beyond rice) at an Indian restaurant before and enjoyed trying the cabbage and getting a taste of my husbands soup. Godwin was an excellent waiter as well. We will be back for sure!

The Best Indian Food in Central Florida!!! We live in The Villages, Florida, but we drive to Ocala to have some delicious Indian cuisine. Look for GODWIN, for the best service & hospitality. We really love AMRIT PALACE & GODWIN!!!

This is the best Indian restaurant in central Florida. Newly remodeled, it is lovely for a date or for a family gathering or a ladies luncheon. There is also a nice sized closed off banquet room. They know how to place attention to every detail listed, for a perfect dining experience. The food is superb and beautifully presented by a well trained staff.

Thank you very much for a wonderful meal with great service. Our waiter was Sam, and he was amazing, very attentive, and made sure to clear the table in between getting our other food. Chicken dishes were cooked to perfection. I got mine at the hot level, and that was a perfect spice level for me. My mom had spice level at mild, my brother had spice level at medium, son had spice level at medium, and sister-in-law had spice level at medium and all got the butter chicken. They all loved their food. My dad got the minced meat, and he loved it as well. We also got garlic cheese bread, which was a great pairing with the spices of the dishes. The Indian coffee was a beautiful presentation, and the taste was wonderful. The only thing that I didn't really care for was the fried cabbage, but my brother ate it, so it was just my pallet. We will be back when in the area again you can count on that.

Wow, I will definitely be back! The interior is so pretty and aesthetic. Service was friendly and efficient. Food came out quick and it was delicious. The butter chicken was great. They also serve delicious mocktails! And it's my birthday this weekend, so they brought out little desserts with a firework sprinkler - it was awesome.

The cocktails were another highlight. I tried the Indian Summer and Gulabi Rani both unique, refreshing, and crafted to pair beautifully with the dishes. And of course, I couldn’t skip dessert: the mango cheesecake was smooth, fruity, and the perfect sweet ending without feeling too heavy. I love curry, and Indian food. Thought I would try this place, and they didn’t disappoint. Food is excellent, prices are good for the amount of food they serve. Very authentic and delicious. Lots of Left overs. I had their lychee martini- it tasted perfect- and Kiran my server was great! I will be back. Thank you

New favorite restaurant! The lamb vindaloo and the mango cheesecake was to die for. The servers are super attentive and the place is so nicely done. Love it.

I went to this place looking at its close to five star reviews and it didn’t disappoint me. I ordered masala dosa and idly sambhar for carry out. It was delicious and enough. There four large Idli and made my day. The food is five stars. The staff is five stars as well. The Indian lady and Korean server were absolutely amazing. They were welcoming and very friendly. While I was waiting for food, they gave me free mango lassi. Amazing 🤩 The vibe is cool however it would need some upgrades. The bathroom could also use some upgrades as well. There is ample parking at the restaurant. It has wide variety of food options. Go for it. I wish them plenty of happiness.

I love coming here.The service is amazing and the food is even better! Good for date night, special occasions, and great for lunch. I always get the Chicken Tandoori, Garlic Naan with mint chutney/onion chutney, and Dal soup. They're the best around in my opinion. My family and I have been coming here for over ten years. Been coming here for years! Came for my wedding anniversary tonight. Was pleasantly surprised that it was remodeled since the last time I've been! The new decor looks great! Food and service was great as usual. I always ask for a dish that's on the lunch menu but they accommodate! Server was Kiran! He was great!

As usual the food was fantastic! Our waitress Izzy was great at making recommendations so I didn’t get what I always order. She was so friendly and personable which is so refreshing. The food portions are always bigger so plenty for lunch the next day! The atmosphere is so nice since they renovated, we definitely plan to return.

My sister and I just came here as we have been craving Indian food. The atmosphere was very nice! We had Raj as our server, which he was amazing! He went above and beyond, plus the food was fantastic! Not a single complaint. I had their whiskey cocktail and it was fabulous, the lime and mint went with it perfectly. 10/10 recommend

What a fantastic place! It was our first time here, and the experience was truly unforgettable. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Maureen welcomed us like family and took care of us with such genuine warmth and professionalism. The food is out of this world. The lamb dishes were unbelievably delicious—perfectly cooked, beautifully spiced, and full of flavor. I highly recommend the Dal soup; it’s my absolute favorite, and they make it exceptionally well. The interior of the restaurant really stands out. The combination of beautiful new floors and furniture with unique antique pieces creates a memorable atmosphere. Even the dishware is stunning. Thoughtful details—like branded bags and napkin holders, well-dressed staff with earpieces for smooth service, a spotless environment, and even the taste of the filtered water—show just how much care, effort, and love the owners and team put into this place. Honest review: 10/10. We will definitely be back to try more dishes and will happily bring friends along.

My husband and I went here for Valentine’s Day. Since we moved here 6 years ago, I’ve wanted to come to this restaurant. I love Indian food and I was super impressed and will be returning. I’m super mad I didn’t eat here a lot sooner! The aesthetics in side the restaurant were beautiful. We saw the special reserved booth and wish we had known about that. The food was delicious!! For starters we had the vegetable samosa which was awesome. I had the Dal soup and the Crispy Cabbage (my husband said “how do you make cabbage taste so good?”). For the dinner portion I had the vegetable Biryani which was also fantastic! My husband had the shrimp curry (I didn’t try it but will have some leftovers tomorrow). Oh —— the garlic naan is freaking awesome too!!! We got the mango cheesecake to go so I haven’t tried it yet (too full). If you love plant based food and a mix of vegetables, fruit, and nuts, and some mild spice - definitely try this place!! Oh, 1 last thing: I tried their Indian Shiraz wine and absolutely loved it!! It’s Smokey (reminded me of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disney - IYKYK), so we bought a bottle to bring home…. If I want that wine again, I will purchase it directly from the restaurant since no one else here in the US (that I could find without going down a rabbit hole of searches) sells it.

This has got to be one of the best dining establishments in town. Everything I have eaten here has exceeded my expectations. It has only gotten better as time goes on. The value is great, the service is outstanding. I got takeout with my husband for Valentine’s Day and even though they were completely slammed we still received our order within just a few minutes of arriving and it was perfect. I definitely recommend the create your own course option, it’s a great value as well as a good opportunity to try a variety of their offerings. Definitely try the Samosa Chaat and the Vindaloo!

Maureen, the server, was terrific! The Nan, however, was disappointing! They were kinda flat and not crisp. Decorated about 18 months ago, the entire atmosphere is very appealing!

The butter chicken is great. I ordered it medium heat and it had a pretty good bite. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that all the other Indian restaurants I've purchased from offer larger portions. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. The staff really attentive.

Food is average taste. Very small quantity share not worth the price tag. Our server Kiran was good but had good conversation with manager which was not pleasant but he did apologized at end. Also I never found a restaurant which has gratuity for 5 people. It’s mostly 8 and for high end restaurants it’s 6. So be aware about that.
