Walked pass here before the Aquarium opened and it smelled delicious. Had the best savory crepes here. Only other place we found savory crepes this good was at UC Davis. Going back tomorrow before we hit the road. Pictured is the roasted veggie and cheese crepe. Place was nice and clean when we went.
Had an amazing experience at Crepes on the Row in Monterey! Ordered the cheese, avocado, and tomato crepe with a latte - both were superb, flavorful without being oily or heavy. The atmosphere is welcoming, enhanced by friendly staff. Sitting outside added to the charm. Definitely the best spot in Monterey for a light, delicious meal. Highly recommend!
I was able to eat the "Monterey Special" crepe on the dah J found an abandoned 2020 Holiday Minnie Mouse plush at McAbee Beach. I went to this place for lunch because I didn't bring snacks in my car; though the service and food are astonishing, it wasn't crowded, which is good for me since I keep track of time. When I got my food and decided to dine in, my tastebuds reacts when I began eating the said savory delight. Though it's best to add some condiments, the great taste comes from the mixture of ingredients, if only you can get them all in one bite. I do not know why this place is rated less than 4.5, but they appear to fresh and made to be very delicious.
Stopped in to fill our crepe craving. The Nutella Banana was big enough to share & delicious. Service was quick & friendly.
This place just opened this Friday and I had the pleasure of trying it while on a mini vacation on Monterey! The crepes here are delicious, I've tried the spinach, mushroom, and cheese crepe and the cheese, smoked turkey, and cranberry sauce crepe. Coming back to try their sweet crepes!
DELICIOUS crepes and coffee. enjoyed #27, the spinach, egg, and cheese. perfect browning and fresh ingredients made out simple breakfast a delight. enjoy!
This is a great place for a light breakfast or snack. The staff is very friendly and tries hard to please. Folks have to remember that Employees are harder to find now more than ever; and show some compassion. We went 2 days in a row, it was so good and convenient
I love this place! My family and I decided to try it out after visiting the aquarium. The crepes are big, delicious, and fresh! Staff were super friendly too. Food is made to order so it's totally worth waiting a few minutes on a busy day for a fresh meal.
Very nice people are working in this store. We went for coffee and crepes there was a mistake on our order and I went to ask about it in return they were so nice and their crepes were amazing! I would not recommend more. Thanks for the great service.
We ordered two crepes and coffee. The crepes were delicious!! Service was fast as our food was very quickly from when we ordered. Also very clean and very cutely decorated. I can't wait for another weekend getaway to Monetery so I can come back!! I know the place just recently opened so I would like to make two suggestions. Placing stir sticks by the cream and sugar station instead of up front by the silverware. Also having a self serve water station would be nice as well.
The crepes and latté are fantastic here. Love it! Perfect for a quick snack after visiting the aquarium.
My husband and I stopped here for my Birthday lunch this weekend. Really cute restaurant with seating outside. Service was great! The friendly girl at the counter was very helpful when I couldn’t make up my mind. I chose a veggie panini on sourdough. It was sooooo good and had came with a side salad. Can’t wait to go back and try one of their sweet crepes!!!
Came here on a small day trip looking to get some good crepes, and was pleasantly surprised at how DELICIOUS they were! I tried the King Zaki and from now on every time I go to Monterey, I will DEFINITELY be getting that order. The customer service was fast and friendly. The workers were all incredibly sweet and patient if you couldn’t decide what you wanted, plus they gave great suggestions. I suggest anyone go if they’re looking for a sweet treat to eat in the Monterey area.
We stopped by for breakfast on the way to the aquarium. The service was fast and the crepes were tasty. We ordered the House Special and Honey Banana Almond Crepe.
Wonderful family business. We visited here after a trip to the Aquarium. The crepes were delicious — crispy yet chewy, simple yet high quality fillings. But the most important thing: it’s run by high integrity owners. My wife accidentally left her purse on the chair outside and we didn’t notice for a couple days. When we finally called, the owner said “hi ____, we’ve been waiting for you to call”. What a relief! It’s so nice seeing good people running businesses these days. We’ll absolutely be back!
Service took time but the crepes were excellent! Definitely worth the wait. The ingredients were fresh and delicious! Great alternative to the Aquarium cafe.
I come here almost once or twice every 2 weeks and the crepes are an absolutely delectable fine piece of work. like I mean seriously I’ve never had a crepe so delicious in my 30 years of living in the United States and oh you bet I’ve been to a lot of crepe stores. If I had a last meal it would be a one of those king Zachariah crepes
Delicious Crepes & Cozy Vibes! This little café is a true gem! The crepes are absolutely delicious — light, perfectly cooked, and filled with fresh, flavorful ingredients. Whether you're in the mood for something sweet or savory, there's something on the menu for everyone. The café itself has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is super friendly and attentive. Everything was made fresh to order, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. Perfect spot for a relaxed brunch, a quick coffee and treat, or a casual date. Highly recommend for anyone who loves good food and cozy cafés!
Both sweet and savory crepes were delicious. Clean place with a relaxing atmosphere.
So good I enjoyed the crepes so much if you are in cannery row definitely try! Staff is chill too.
Totally worth the stop! Kind staff, great food& drinks! The price was not fast, but fair
I had a delicious turkey cranberry crepe and my wife loved her Monterey special crepe. We sat out on the nice front patio with our dog Snoop.
We were spoiled by Yulia’s crepe place where we live (Portland ME). I’ve been comparing every crepe since she closed to her amazing crepes so off we went this morning to Crepes on the Row. My husband and daughter ordered the banana, dried coconut and Nutella crepe. Me, I always order a savory crepe, this time with avocado, tomatoes and cheese. I added pesto to the crepe! Food was hot and arrived quickly. Hot coffee and iced latte were prepared as expected. I was bummed they had no decaf coffee or decaf latte however I enjoyed lemon ginger tea! My crepe was as close as ever to Yulia’s! And the other crepes disappeared too! Bravo!
Really nice spot on Cannery Row. The place has a cozy vibe and the service was friendly. Great stop if you’re walking around the area and craving something warm and fresh. I’d definitely come back to try more of their crêpes.
Cute cafe with a lovely view of the Monterey Bay Half Marathon (congrats runners!) Staff was very kind and accommodating. I haven't tried the crepes, but will be back to do so!
Crepes are the perfect breakfast in the morning! I love the Crepes On The Row, it is definitely a spot everyone needs to try. Especially if you’re going to be walking around the aquarium all day. (It is only across the street). It’s a very affordable price for crepes and they offer other baked goods as well. They offer sandwich-like crepes if you are not too big on sweets. I got the bacon, eggs, and cheese crepe. They offer other crepes like Turkey and pesto, ham and cheese, and other vegetarian options. There’s so many crepes to choose from and some small baked goods to try! I’ll definitely have to come back to this location again.
Delicious creaps, they had a 15-20 mins line but we got our food before that.
Wow what an amazing place! Honestly this is a must stop and try! We stopped by today for lunch and had their savory crepes and the sweet crepes and all their choices were superb! The crepe was thin and crispy , the filling ( artichokes and sundried tomatoes cheese and spinach in mine) was generous. The sweet crepe had milk chocolate bits melted to a smooth layer of goodness and fresh bananas and coconut! Yum yum! This is definitely better than the routine sandwiches, we willing be coming again soon !
We stopped by here after visiting Monterey Bay aquarium. I passed this place and came back to it after I checked their menu. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Cleanliness: 5 Value for money: 5 Food Taste: 5 Recommendation: great spot for lunch. Their savory crepes are amazing as well as sweet ones. Ordered smoked Turkey crepe, grilled chicken crepe and avocado tomato crepes in savory category. For the sweet ones, we ordered Nutella and banana along with Nutella, banana and strawberries. Please check it out.

This is a great little place to get a crêpe. However, I ordered a spinach cheese and onion crêpe, and the spinach wasn’t cooked basically just raw spinach between the crêpe, which kind of broke the experience for me. However, my boyfriend ordered the lemon and sugar crêpe, which was phenomenal. We paid $30 for two crêpes to include drinks, which may or may not break your bank for the area.
There is outdoor seating. The crepes were good and don't have gravy just in case you are expecting that. One star less because the bakery options were limited.
Very casual. Nice and bright interior. Fabulous crepes. Quick. The savory and the sweet crepes were both very good and also very filling. Recommend the banana, almond and honey one, the chocolate banana Nutella one. For savory, the house special.
The crepes here were delicious (both the savory and the sweet), but a little spendy. I enjoyed the crustier exterior to my crepe (savory one) but my husband didn't like it as much with his sweet crepe (whenever we've had them before they are soft throughout). The dining area is smaller, so if they're busy you may not have somewhere to sit.
Crepes were delicious and fresh. High quality The crepes are pricey though and the tap to pay automatically defaults to a tip, which is a bit annoying. Would still go back
Crepes, crepes, crepes, sweet and savory. I settled on a plain Nutella crepe. Yummy. No gluten free items today but Nutella was great. Crepes made to order and I appreciated the time they took to make them. Accessible venue. Paid van accessible parking in cannery row garage

Ok, first time here. Little surprised at cost, but then I realized I modified my dish and that brought cost up. With that said, it turned out to be a very pleasant surprise, small quaint Cafe. Crepes were prepared very well. Eggs cooked perfectly without my knowledge. Smoked turkey was very good. Cranberry sauce added to the house. Special crepes with the icing on the cake. Try the lemon cake and that was also very good. Two thumbs up two crepes on the roll cafe

Directly across the street from the Monterey Aquarium. The crêpes are sizable and well stuffed. The counter staff gave a complete underestimate on the size of the paninis (hands held up to indicate size of bread was about half of the final sandwich size). Service was quick but inaccurate for my special order. Expensive due to tourist area location.
Food was OK but overpriced. Visited after MB Aquarium, and there was no one behind the counter, the only employee was in the back on the phone, and she went back immediately after making our crepe, forgetting our coffee order. Other customers walked in and right out when they didn't see any employees. Owner, you are losing money to whoever was working 5pm 30Sept.
We got savory crepes and they were quite average. The crepes were good, but the meat and cheese was not. Food was overpriced for the small portions we got, so we assume they take advantage of being on the "Row".
Stopped by for a banana, almond and honey crepe while walking along Cannery Row. Service was kind of slow and while the crepe was okay, I've had better. The crepe was kind of thick and reminded me more of a tortilla than a crepe. Will do in a pinch but nothing special.
Let me just start off by saying the food here is not the issue. The food is delicious. The place is just badly run, in need of a manager and a staff who does more then just stand around. They are very nice but its teenagers being left alone to run a business. The tables were dirty, there was no utensils, the garbage was over flowing and it took forever to get our food.
The food was good enough. We had a savory crepe and avocado toast. However, that is the only reason why they are getting three stars. The staff were polite and welcoming, however our food was ready 7-8 minutes apart and they forgot our water (which we asked for twice). Also they use disposable plastic cups... Right next to the aquarium where they warn about those exact type of plastics. Simple fixes? - Manage to get the orders done at the same time. - Have a water station where guests can get their own water. - Reusable cups.
A small place where we couldn't fit our stroller. Pricing is wow high..we paid $53 for 3 crepes without any drinks. Waiting was 30min. It was delicious except savory crepe didn't have any sauce or seasoning on it. Maybe if I was alone I would recommend but coming with family wasn't that great.
Stopped by here for lunch and had the daily special, which was a savoury crepe filled with spinach, tomato, artichoke and mozzarella. This was not bad. The crepe itself was quite lovely and crispy and bendy and thin. I took issue with the filling. The ingredients themselves are a good combo. But, because the spinach and tomatoes are raw, you have to at least get them heated up, or you get cold veggies and hot cheese, which is not great. If the tomatoes were sliced thinner and not like cooked but just put on the grill long enough to not be fridge-cold (the spinach could be slightly wilted with the tomatoes, for example), then this would be 100% better. The filling is also not seasoned. Tell people that. I'd have asked for a little salt or pepper. A bit of seasoning goes a long way.
No on site restroom for customers, ice cream advertised but machine was offline. Drinks though were very cold which was nice in the heat. Dining area is very clean and roomy. Got the King Zaki and the cheese turkey and cranberry crepes. Also only one person running the place so understaffed but she was very efficient, welcoming and polite. The crepes overall were good but the savory crepe should have been hotter. Dessert crepe was on point.
Food was average. Service was a little confusing, they didn’t offer avocado toast even though it was on the menu and offered avocado on crepes. Also charged more than price given on the menu and had to point out the mistake to the cashier to get them to change it. Cute looking shop. Very close to the aquarium and in a nice downtown area.
They pre-cook and heat up the crepes, but okay tasting if you like thicker crepes with crunchy edges. They have benches with wooden slats and no cushions so not comfortable, guess they don’t want people to linger. But nice bright and airy design. Workers don’t seem happy, not exactly service with a smile
Savory crepe were ok, they use premade crepes and warm them up with the ingredients. No garnish or sauce in the savory crepe. Sweet crepes looked nice, bananas Nutella and fresh strawberry. Nutella and powdered sugar garnish.
Crepe was ok but nothing special and tasted re-heated instead of freshly cooked. Convenient location however doesn’t represent value for money when it was $25 AUD for a chocolate crepe with strawberry and banana (shown in photo).

This is a difficult one for me because it was a mixed experience. 1. Food quality - 4/5 (I am not a Crepe fan in general but others in the group liked it) 2. Ambience - 4/5 No restrooms inside but available opposite side of the street. So slight inconvenience. Service - good but could be better with some smiles 😀 Plastic forks and spoons could be replaced by silverware No easy availability of water / glasses. It’s a good place and with few minor changes, this place could really make it up to 4 or 4.5 stars
neat place near the aquarium but the crepes are just average some crepes ended up super crispy- not how they should end up. 1 of 3 was reasonably soft- as a crepe should be. I think they are just getting back up to speed after the pandemic closures. this is a great place to stop by during a morning walking around Cannery Row. A fun tourist stop. That being said, I wouldn’t rate this high on my list of crepe places I’ve been around the world.
The best part about this place is the location.. we ordered two and received one.. she didn't hear the first order so we had to wait to eat ours until everybody at the table had a plate. It was fairly bland even with my hard apples and caramel...
I wanted to leave this feedback on a website, but this establishment doesn't seem to have one. We went a couple days ago. The floor is weirdly sticky, and the tables are covered with a greyish slime. The whole place needs a thorough cleaning. The food was adequate and at least relatively inexpensive. But I wouldn't eat there again if my feet were still sticking to the floor near the cash register.
Crepes are ok I guess. Definitely not worth the price even in a touristy location. The worst thing about it is the plates were sticky with honey and they won't let you use the bathroom even as a paying customer. I hate sticky hands. I thought that was exceptionally rude.
The dumbest place on earth and expensive. Lol We had 4 crepes and 3 coffee (1 latte and 2 cappuccino) = $70 No bathrooms. No service, you have to pick it up even if the store is absolutely empty. You have to clean up after yourself. And they don't have waffles!!! Can you imagine, a crepery with a waffle maker but no waffles?
$36 for 2 crepes + tip but honestly if I could do it over I wouldn't tip and I would've wasted money on only 1 crepe. We went on a saturday but the shop itself wasn't busy. The 2 attendants behind the counter were too busy chatting between eachother to even acknowledge customers walking in. Being in the customer service industry, I prefer first acknowledging a customer to let them know I'm ready to help them. The 2 associates working didnt even step up to the register or make themselves look busy and just continued to talk amongst themselves about non work related topics and continued talking about relationships. We ordered and then waited 20+ minutes for 2 fruit crepes. Both were extremely crispy (think taco bell taco consistency) and was burnt on the bottom. The burnt parts were covered by chocolate and nutella but I'm not sure if it was on purpose, did not help the flavor either way. It was not a good first impression for my partner who had their first crepe here. The fruit was alright and the atmosphere was nice for a small quiet cafe but I wouldn't waste my money here again. Shame because crepes while on vacation sounded perfect.
They charge $3.50 for water. I've never been to a restaurant that doesn't offer customers water.
My wife had no complaints about her pancake, but I got a chicken panini where I could swear the meat had been around for a week more than it should. I feared I would sit on the toilet on Monterey Bay Aquarium for the rest of the day, but I was fine. But honestly, bring that chicken home to your family and make a spicy curry instead of serving it to paying customers!
Sweet crepe was pretty good but the Monterey special is not really as advertised. The spinach is obviously raw, there is very little feta and a huge amount of sun dried tomatoes. Just preference but I found the onions too sweet as well.
Service was okay and the girl was kinda rude who put in our order. They messed up my husbands order even tho it wasn’t busy at all and it was a simple strawberry and lemon crepe. Forgot the strawberries And honestly overall the crepes were good but nothing special. Not coming back especially because of service.
ordered an "iced chai latte" and got iced watery milk with a tea bag in it. crepe was good tho
Place is shady as hell. Tables are dirty. Woman working cashier is rude. I changed the apples in a crepe to Bananas and somehow that made the price go from 13.95 to 18 dollars. Service is slow and tables are stuffed together. Would also like to add that there was a HAIR that did not match my friend nor my hair. In the photo u can see their crepes are not filled at all and bananas were just tossed in there and were not filled. They ask if you want whipped creme not extra… and don’t say anything about an extra charge. Sold out of half their menu. Tables were not at all cleaned after each person…. would not recommend to anyone.

I was really looking forward to trying this creperie on Cannery Row, but the experience fell flat. My crepe didn’t look appealing at all. They didn’t even add whipped cream, and I had to ask for it. What really threw me off was that they wouldn’t add strawberries to my banana–Nutella–coconut crepe. It’s a crepe place — toppings shouldn’t be a big ask, yet they said they couldn’t do it. On top of that, the crepes were noticeably small compared to other creperies, especially considering the price. Definitely not worth what they’re charging. To finish it off, my berries smoothie was bland with no real flavor. Overall, the whole visit was unsatisfactory. I wouldn’t recommend this spot unless they step up both their service and quality.

Longest wait ever. Even after asking, before we ordered how long it would be. Told 5 mins for a 25 min wait for a single crepe. Only one person cooking and going at glacial speed. Lady taking orders was even worse than the guy cooking.
We had one crepe and it was fantastic, but that was the ONLY good thing about the visit it seemed. We ordered two other sandwiches one with special instructions that were completely ignored. The food took about 10 minutes which I would expect for a place like this. If you are going to charge $45 for 2 sandwiches and a crepe at least have the service, speed, and atmosphere to match it.
Very unsatisfied. Crepe was burnt and hard. The guy that cooked it was not good at cooking it.
Horrible service, waited 20 min for 3 croissants and coffee after many more people got their order. The girl never put my order in. When I told them my order they gave it to me finally, cold. While we were eating outside the man comes out and tells me the cashier only charged me for 1 and I need to go pay more. Not even an apology or anything. Easily the worst place on the row. Terrible service, pre-packaged crepes, go somewhere else. Update: Don't worry, I never plan to return or recommend it to anyone. There's a reason your store has 3.7 stars and lowering. Even the owner doesn't know customer service. What a joke. I didn't run away with anything. I clearly stated to your cashier 3 croissants, and a coffee. And she didn't even put it in. Not even a sorry for waiting and getting your order wrong, sir.
I leave this review because I was surprised, shocked and bemused at this establishment. Very cute shop that says crepes on cannery row, so we came in and ordered a savory crepe. 20 mins go by and the order does not come through. I'm seeing both the workers on the other side not doing much but just moving around. I finally go up to the counter to ask for my order and the server gives me this surprised look, "your order?" and looks at the receipt and says, " oh he (as in the guy making the crepes) didn't make it". I'm sorry, but what? There were like 3 people in the restaurant at the time and mine was the last order. I got my money back including the tip when I asked the order to be cancelled but really, how can you let this happen on a weekend when the area is bustling? Maybe that's why this place was not as full as the other restaurants?
Good costumer service but very poor crepes. I ordered chocolate and strawberry crepe. I got some strawberries but I hardly found any chocolate on my crepe. I guess they are still in business not because of the quality, but because they are next to the aquarium.
DONT PAY TIP UPFRONT. Leave tip when you go and you are happy with the service. The crape is ok, not like super good or anything like that. But you come here and you will pay $4 for a water bottle because they don’t have tap water and no service other than at the counter. We regretted paying good tip when we found we don’t get tap water. We selfserve most all things. Why would you pay tip? Yeah, tourist area, but I don’t think they deserve good ratings because of small service items like this.
Ordered the simplest crepe on the menu, a butter and sugar, and waited for 30 minutes. There were 4 people running the cashier simultaneously and only one cook. Not efficient at all. Don’t even bother.
Today, Saturday 07/06/19 I had one of the most unpleasant experiences of my life. My family and I went to Monterey for the first time and walked into the “Crepes on the row cafe” for some coffee and crepes for the kids. As I entered the store at exactly 5pm the young Caucasian cashier immediately says “we are closed.” On my way out the store another Caucasian woman entered and she did not state she was closed, instead she took her order and that customer sat and drank her coffee alongside many others who were sitting inside eating their crepes. When I witnessed that she did not refuse service to this customer I immediately entered the store once again and stated “I thought you were closed but I see you continue to take orders?” Is there a problem? Is it because I am Hispanic?” I also stated, “Your hours of operations clearly state you are open from 8am-7pm on Saturday nights.” The young cashier who claims her name is Diana, says “this customer only wanted coffee.” I replied “I also wanted coffee, you could’ve said we are no longer making crepes but we are only serving coffee. Instead, the young Caucasian girl who claims her name is Diana says nothing ! I have NEVER in my life felt more discriminated in a business in which I entered to enjoy with my family during my vacation! Not only did she lie to me but she refused to serve me and my family. After an hour at exactly 6pm I passed by the store front and they continued to serve customers. If I could give this place NO stars I would because that is what it deserves!
Beware! They charge more than the posted price on the led screen. They hit you with taxes on top of their charged price. You cannot see the register screen when they charge you. Until you pay and get the receipt you don’t know that the original price has been bumped up and taxes were added to that higher price. When you ask about the discrepancy they give you the rude treatment and make you walk away. I would never go here. Food is mediocre and dry. The show you the ketchup packets and hot sauce packets to put it on your crepe. Pretty bad.
The place was dark and they opened later than the posted time. We were the first ones in. There was already a large stack of about 100 crepes by the crepes pan and since no one was by the pans before, they were from the day before. They reheated the day old crepes with our desired fillings which made the already cooked crepes crispy and dark brown in some spots. Extremely over priced for what they served. When I went back over the reviews, I saw others had posted pictures of they overcooked crepes. Very disappointing.
Very bland, fruit is not freshly chopped, the crepes are soggy and the “Nutella” tastes like a cheap chocolate cream from a dollar store. The quality is bad and the price is too high. Not worth the money at all.
It was yucky and the food was uncooked. The sun-dried tomatoes were canned and the crepes were practically empty. Honestly it’s a tourist trap don’t go here.
Crepes were not tasty at all. The place is run by two amateurs who gets overwhelmed with only 6 customers in line. Do Not recommend at all!!!!
The woman working was absolutely the most rude person we have ever met. I recommend never going to this establishment because the workers are unprofessional, angry, entitled, and rude. DO NOT EAT HERE.
Saw they closed at 6pm, so I went to a few stores and came back at 5:30pm to grab a crepe to-go on my way back home. They had the doors open and as we walked up, a guy sweeping said they were no longer taking order as they were closed. Even the chairs inside were already up. How is this good for business when you close before your posted times? So rude!
Wasn’t able to try the crepes because there was a 30 minute wait. Mind you, the place was empty and they had already been opened for an hour, so unsure why the long wait. Opted for their pastries. They’re grossly overpriced Costco pastries, that they at least warmed up. Spent $15 on 2 Costco croissants and a Costco water. Staff was also subpar. Wouldn’t recommend or come again.
This review is for coffee only. Worst coffee i have ever had. It tasted like flavored water. Very pricey as well. Do better
Absolute, overpriced garbage. Essentially, buttery, powdered sugared tortillas. Coffee was watery and reminded me of Denny's at 2am. Avoid at all costs. Save your money for better food down the row
Unsanitary and bad food. The place was very disappointing and was dirty. There is no restroom inside. The staff was unable to accomodate removing cheese for me and was rude about it. The crepe was not good at all but I needed something because I was hungry. I would never return.
Absolutely disgusting fruit inside the crepes. The strawberries were clearly rotten yet they were filled in the crepes. The place has a disgusting stench right when you walk in, employees were very negligent and unprofessional while taking our order. We removed all the strawberries after the horrible after taste.
