Opinions de Pacific Thai Cuisine Pacific Grove
While I was walking around Pacific Grove, my nose led me towards a sweet smell that made me feel hungry, I followed the smell to find myself in front of a restaurant serving Thai food called Pacific Thai Cuisine, a small shop and the hands were clean, smelling delicious, I need not add that the food was over my expectations.
Their food was so good, it made me want to move to Pacific Grove just so I could have it more often. You could check off what went well like a list: Prompt service? Yes. Great portions? Yes. Convenient location? Yes. Delicious food? F*** yes. Even when my friend asked for his yellow curry to be less spicy after receiving it, they gladly took it back and fixed it up. My Pacific Delight came in a delightful mix of shrimp, scallops and calamari with a variety of veggies, with a light yet flavorful citrus chili sauce. They're extremely accommodating and friendly! I can't recommend them enough with words alone so I suggest you stop by here and see what I mean, when you get the chance to come around to Lover's Point or Pacific Grove :) P.S - points for being environmentally conscience with their offer of paper straws!
Friendly service and delicious food! Best Thai spot in town, in a beautiful location!
For Vegetarian Excellent place. We came as a visitor in Monterey and looking for some thai place near by. Called them and asked them if they can make food without fish sauce. They were very humble and reserved a table for us and food was delicious. As a vegetarian we ordered Pad Thai, fried rice and red curry. Everything was really good and by our test.
The best Thai food I have had in my life and the servers were very happy and genuine. Highly recommended
They do not advertise gluten free items on their menu but if you mention your food allergy, the staff will gladly point out what you can and cannot eat. I got the spicy seafood green curry and it was absolutely delicious. Super flavorful and just the right amount of spice. Portions are decent. Not too large, not too small. My husband got the green curry with chicken and he loved it. Prices are what they are, being in Pacific Grove and tourist season, at that. We got out with waters, one large beer, two curry dishes and two rice sides for $72. But the food was worth it and I packed my leftovers. It was that good.
Fresh, delicious Thai food (not at all heavy or greasy) in a charming little restaurant with gracious staff and manager.
Awesome Jain-friendly Thai food, reasonable price and great service!
Traveling in California, my husband and I found the wonderful restaurant with exotic food - Pacific Thai Cuisine. This restaurant is located in Monterey, CA. Many tourists visit this amazing place! The restaurant had a unique interior. Food here is delicious! Service is outstanding! Atmospher is friendly! Prices are reasonable! Pacific Thai Cuisine is my favorite restaurant! Are you hungry? Are you bored because of plain food? Please, come to Pacific Thai Cousins and enjoy national Thai food with five spicy levels!
Authentic. Local. Customer service driven. The entrees are full of flavor and packed with tasteful ingredients. I will be back 100x every time we visit. The dining hall is a very small, quaint and dim lite restaurant that very intimate while being relaxed and comfortable.
Huge portions, authentic flavors, and right by the ocean! 🌊 The fried rice, chicken satay, and pad Thai were all absolutely delicious—Thai food perfection in Pacific Grove!
We had such a great experience at Pacific Thai Cuisine in Pacific Grove! We ordered the Crispy Duck, Chicken Teriyaki, and Tom Yum Soup, and every dish was spot on. The duck was perfectly crispy and flavorful without being greasy, the chicken teriyaki was super tender and came with a delicious sauce, and the Tom Yum had just the right balance of spice and citrusy tang—so comforting and bold. On top of the great food, the service was fantastic—everyone was friendly, welcoming, and made sure we were taken care of. You can really tell they care about the food and their guests. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to when we’re in the area!
Pacific Thai Cuisine is a really nice restaurant for Thai food. They have a nice menu for drinks and food. Service is very friendly and attentive. Food comes out freshly prepared and hot, except when it’s not supposed to be served hot. Portions are ample, often providing opportunity to take some home except for those with the most hearty appetites.
This Thai food place is great! Always happy to serve us and very attentative to the table's needs. The food selection is just right and the prices are great! The food is delicious, cooked perfectly, and has tons of flavor. I'm a pretty bland guy so I'm happy there's quite a bit of options for me. Every time we go the staff is so nice!
best mango sticky rice ever, drunken noodles was amazing as well, their homemade chili oil adds the perfect kick. a bit pricey but portion is great and taste definitely makes up for it.
WOW! I’ve had Thai food almost everywhere I’ve traveled to (even in Thailand) because it is the most offered SE Asian food. Pacific Thai is as authentic as it gets. The person down there that compared it it Zab za Thai does not have good taste for Thai food. I’ve been to both and Pacific Thai Cuisine is WAYYYYY BETTER in prices, portion and taste. Their thai tea can use some work though.
The food is absolutely delicious. Warm and welcoming staff and owner. Go here for a great experience.
Yummy Thai food. I really enjoyed eating lunch at this restaurant.
Their lunch special is one of my favorite deals around. For just around $15 you get coconut milk soup and a choice of many main dishes. I always get the drunken noodle and the portions are huge! I had enough food for two whole meals. The food is always fast and really tasty. The service is very nice as well. We tried the Chiang Mai Noodle Soup as well which was perfect for a cold day. Their Thai iced tea is also delicious.
Food was delicious. Would definitely go again if I was in town. Extremely pleased with the service.
My new go-to stop for Thai food!🙌🔥 We ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai, Combo Meat Drunken Noodles and Crab/Cream Cheese wontons with some Thai Tea. Everything was delicious, staff was friendly and professional. We're definitely coming back
The spring rolls are very good. The peanut sauce was outstanding! The service was good. The pad Thai was great and gluten free. Great place for locals and tourists. I would ask for lime as the food was spicy. I asked for a 3.5 out of 5 and I am use to spice.

I’ve been here 3 times now and LOVED it every time!! The customer service is really great and the food is delicious. Very quaint and cozy place with some outdoor seating.
Enjoyed the outdoor seating on a lovely day by the bay. Pad See ew was large... just the right size for my after bicycling chow down😁 Friendly and attentive owner and staff.
The pad se ew was OK but not authentic. The Yellow curry is pretty good.
A really cute place with great Ambiance and customer service. The hostess was so kind and friendly. I've been here before but this time I opted for the takeout option. She was kind enough to bring in my food while I sit outside and enjoy the nice weather. The food is always delicious and I love that you can customize the spicy level. I usually get the Drunken Noodles and it never disappoints. Great flavor great service!

I picked up takeout from this location, but the service and atmosphere was great. Supe cozy inside We had the vegetarian yellow curry and pad Thai. The yellow curry was PHENOMENAL. Incredible rich flavor and full of veggies. The pad Thai noodles were very bland—almost just plain noodle. Also, the noodles used here are different than any other pad Thai I’ve had. Not sure if that’s a purposeful choices I would return just for the curry though!

We ordered the lettuce wraps and they were decent, enough to satisfy the craving but nothing that makes them phenomenal. The pad see ew and pad thai noodle dishes were also decent and definitely enough to share 1 plate for 2 people. MUST TRYS are the Thai sticky rice and panang curry which is not spicy along with the Thai iced teas
The food was bland. Not much flavor. I ordered the spicy Thai basil dish - it was not spicy at all and had little flavor. The white rice seemed under cooked. My wife said her dish was also bland, but she was pleased with the plentiful amount of seafood on her plate. The server was attentive and nice. Cannot recommend, as there are several other really good Thai restaurants nearby.
Ordered tofu pad Thai to go it was really dry. Came with a soup. Not coming back it was the worst I've ever had on the peninsula. But they are open on Monday unlike all the other Thai restaurants around here.
We had ordered the pineapple fried rice and fried egg rolls. The fried rice was very good with fresh pineapples, but the fried egg rolls were still cold in the middle. I think the egg rolls might have been frozen. That was disappointing.
Eating out is an art and a science, both which are not a strength of mine. I ordered the massaman curry, and brown rice ( which is an up charge) and ginger tea. Average at best, I did ask for peanuts to add some flavor, it just wasn’t as tasty as expected. So many options on the menu. My opportunity is to ask better questions and check reviews. Friendly people.
I likedbthis place, quaint. Ordered some satay, basil fried rice, and a pork basil dish. Food was good, but not a standout either. Could have been a little more aromatic and spicier in my opinion.

I am a regular at PG thai. The food always tastes awesome. But I was terrified to see the large piece of pebble in my spicy basil tilapia. Can't imagine what would have happened if I tried to chew on it or swallow it. I hear the noise of the pebble against the glass plate when cutting the fish and was lucky to have avoided eating it. Scary.
I ordered the lunch special Pad Thai chicke. The chicken was rubbery, overall decent flavor but the lunch special which included a little cup of carrot soup was $22. There are much better Thai options on the peninsula. Also, they limited menu choices. Not good.

Worst Thai food I ever experienced. Their idea of Pad Thai was spaghetti with ketchup like sauce. Definitely a place I would never recommend. Servers, however we’re, very sweet and hard working.
I’ve been coming to this gem of a spot since 2017. The thing I love the most is the kindness and customer service. The food consistency varies but we return because the owner is great and the staff. Today was my second time being treated with rudeness from Precila. I asked for ginger to be added to my curry and she said we do not do that. I told her I ask for this every time. She said we can’t today because we have too many orders. There were 4 people in the restaurant and my order was the only go to order. Be aware of Precila. She lies and doesn’t care about the service she provides. When I went in she was also rude.
