The evening was absolutely perfect! We were warmly greeted and seated by the Manager who sprinkled some happy birthday confetti in learning of my birthday. Not much after being seated our server came over to introduce herself and provide us with the libations menu. Britni was an absolute delight . She was so very personable and such a hard worker. Though the presentation of the Lobster Thermidor (which is rarely found on a menu anymore) could have used a little more artistic touch, my Hong Kong style sea bass was very inviting! The taste of the food itself was delectable . We have visited Sullivan on occasion, but this by far was our ULTIMATE BEST EXPERIENCE!!!!! Thank you Britni for making it memorable

Absolutely one of the Best Happy Hours in the Valley! Janessa at the front entrance is absolutely courteous and friendly. Greeted everyone that walked in with a huge smile. after seating us Jazzymyne and Daniella were so attentive stopping by to see if everything was ok, or if we needed anything. The food was Delicious. Thank you again for such a wonderful evening.

Jazzmyne is an excellent server. We were here on a Wednesday for happy hour. Really enjoyed the knowledge given on the cocktails and recommendations on what was popular for food. Jasmine was engaging and timely with checking in on any additional wants and needs. I would come back for happy hour and I look forward to seeing Jazzmyne again for some more cocktail recommendations. I do love that smoked old fashion with the box presentation. Makes me smile every time.

David and Sebastian are the best bartenders ever! They are welcoming, charming, and engaging....they made us feel at home the moment we stepped into their space at the bar. Sebastian was extremely accomodating in offering food and drink options. I highly recommend Sullivan's on El Paseo for happy hour or a special occasion as the staff will make it extra special. Had a wonderful dinner for our anniversary yesterday. This restaurant gives our date a nice ending at palm springs. We were thinking to eat at Eddie V's because I long for their crab cake so bad but something came up and my husband can only be in his shorts..lol and their dress code is very strict. We found this place nearby and offered crab cake so we want to give it a try. Great! They let us in but the crab cakes are a bit disappointing may be I expected too much. I understand that even if I eat it from that other restaurant, it may tastes different from last time too. But everything else we ordered here at Sullivan's is good. New York steak is delicious, their sea bass is the best sea bass I ever had. They also have some 'asian fusion' options on the menu that we ordered including the hongkong style sea bass (which they have some bakchoi underneath the seabass with thickened salted soy sauce) and shanghai Calamari flavored with sweet & sour pickled peppers. We should have tried their crab fried rice instead of crab cake because each restaurant has their own unique signature dishes. Anyways, back to LA now and I still miss that sea bass.

My wife and I went out for a celebratory dinner occasion and our server Jackie at Sullivan’s off El Paseo was impeccable! Amazing customer service and she made the entire night smooth and enjoyable. We loved her energy and suggestions for cocktails and dishes. Keep up the great work Jackie, we will be back soon! :)

We came for happy hour. First time here, Amy & David took care of us at the bar, they were so friendly, it was such a great experience. Had the blue cheese chips (I’m not even the biggest fan of blue cheese but oh my gosh these were amazing), and the cheesesteak egg rolls were incredible. I started with a classic lemon drop Martini which was delicious but their knockout Martini is definitely one to try as well!! My boyfriend got their smoked old fashioned which was so crafty and he thoroughly enjoyed it as well. They let us know about their current daily specials which will definitely be bringing us back for dinner. Thank you so much Amy & David! We look forward to coming back.

We were drawn in by the happy hour menu but the overall food and experience was mediocre at best. Angus burgers were hand pressed and fine to taste but not exceptional. Fries were served lukewarm, not hot. Atmosphere inside was dimly lit bar scene with a view of a wall of liquor bottles. If a bar scene and drinking is your jam, then you might be perfectly happy dining here and not even notice that there were other superior dining options very nearby.

We were excited to have a night out at a new steakhouse (for us). We were underwhelmed. We waited 10 minutes for the waiter to introduce himself, although he ended up being a nice guy and waited another 20 minutes to get a drink. We ordered the cauliflower appetizer and it was ok but over breaded. We then ordered the Bass, which was flavorful but lukewarm, and a baked potato to go with it. The baked potato had to go back as it was less than lukewarm. The second meal was the $52, 3 course, meal. Filet and mashed potatoes with a desert. That meal was fine. By the time the baked potato came back we just chose to take it home. One other issue is there was a female manager who was just pissy with her staff and a male manager walking around telling his staff the smile. For an upscale restaurant and the tips they get, everyone should be happy. No one seemed happy that night. Honestly, a couple months ago we went to Eddie V's in La Jolla. The service and food there were so upscale that Sullivan's felt like a kid trying to play a game they were just introduced to.

Great atmosphere. Ordered a ribeye steak and it was very taugh, reordered a different type of steak and it was better. My husband had no complaints about his lamb chops. I personally will not eat here again but overall their service was good. We were suppose to go to Mortons this day but I chose to eat here, wish I never did that.

I wanted to share our experience at Sullivan’s this Valentine’s Day. My fiancé and I don’t usually go out for fancy dinners, but we made an exception since we were celebrating our five-year anniversary and were expecting a special experience for what we paid. Unfortunately, the night started off poorly. We weren’t even given a drink menu, and the water in our glasses looked murky. It took about 30 minutes just to see our server, and although we ordered an appetizer, it didn’t arrive until after our entrées and sides, nearly an hour and a half after we were seated. Our reservation was for 9:15, but we weren’t sat down until 9:45. I do want to mention that our server himself wasn’t rude or the problem at all, and we appreciated his kindness. However, the overall restaurant experience still wasn’t what we expected for such a special occasion. The oysters were fortunately taken off our bill as reimbursement, but we still ended up paying $130 for a dinner that was very disappointing. Overall, when you make a reservation at a well-known steakhouse on a special day, you expect quality service and properly prepared food. We ordered our steaks medium rare, but they arrived extremely red and didn’t even appear seared on the outside. It was a very disappointing anniversary dinner.

Not typically one to write a review but an experience I have to share…. To start it off, on a trip with friends to Palm Springs with 6 friends we wanted to go to a nice steak house. Upon ordering a round a drinks as we sat down all Marintis came room temperature. Moving to appetizers all salads were sub par. Cobbs lacked bacon and egg crumble. All steaks were fairly priced when cooked correctly, however, 3 of the 6 steaks were grossly overcooked. They did comp us a round of drinks but the service and food quality for a $1,000 dinner was such a disappointment. Service - 2 Food -2 Value/quality - 2 Won’t be going back. Save your time and energy and go elsewhere.

TERRIBLE experience. Like it was so bad all we could do was laugh. Had reservation but had to wait 15 minutes. Least expensive glass of red wine (and a mediocre red) was $35 (wth!) Took 45 minutes to receive a lemonade. Took an hour and 15 minutes to receive our meal. Three filets were ordered...1) hair on the plate 2) ordered MR, came out WD 3) ordered MW, came out extra WD. Like burnt and crispy. And after all of that, you'd think we'd receive an apology from a Mgr... nope. Save your money and go to Longhorns.

We thought we would try Sullivan's for our Christmas dinner. It started off good with the pork belly appetizer. Then the soup came. I had the shrimp and lobster bisque. The taste was good but it was lukewarm. 40 minutes later our meal finally arrived and it was barely warm. The filet was cooked properly but it wasn't hot. The "crispy brussel sprouts" were greasy and not fully cooked, didn't have the bacon as described on the menu, and there were more onions than brussel sprouts. We sent back the lobster au gratin potatoes because they were cold and when they were brought back out, the portion was smaller and there were no pieces of lobster anymore. The manager offered free dessert and coffee....the coffee wasn't hot and the cheesecake wasn't cold. It was painful to pay $$$ for such a poor experience. I won't be going back.
