Panera bread is by far one of the best places to get if you want fresh delicious chemical free, healthy food. Healthy food that taste good, you ask? Yes, absolutely. And the customer service is just as impressive. There has been a couple of incidences where the Uber eats. Driver had actually forgotten another bag or a secondary bag that was part of my order. Even though Panera bread was not at fault that they had made the food, and it was the driver who is at fault. They made sure that I was reimbursed for the money, and even went as far as to offer me the missing order for free. And not only just the order they even offered to give extra pastries just for the inconvenience that was not at all their fault. You cannot ask for a better customer service. You cannot ask for healthier more delicious food if you want some thing light and healthy that isn’t going to make you feel bloated and disgusting. You can actually feel yourself being nourished and energized by their food. The broccoli cheddar soup in a bread bowl is absolutely divine on a cold winter night when you want some of those carbs in comfort food that comes in the bread bowl, but something warm and creamy, and feels and taste like home. Their soups often remind me of my mothers homemade soups and I would definitely call them comfort foods without all the extra carbs like what you would find in fried chicken they’re barbecue chicken salad is divine for a date when you actually want to eat something healthy, but also filling, it is absolutely delicious. The barbecue dressing that is mixed with something else like a secret sauce of some sort is not overwhelming. It is the perfect blend of flavorful, but doesn’t overwhelm the black beans or the corn the chicken and other ingredients in the salad, you can taste all of the flavors and they blend together perfectly. The black beans not only add flavor, but a wonderful texture that stands out from everything else. It may sound like your standard barbecue chicken salad, but believe me when I say that they do something to the salad that makes it crispier tastier more flavorful, not overwhelming and also filling without too many carbs or in calories. I have that salad twice a week in the soup bowl once a week and in a month I’ve lost 12 pounds. I am happy to say that I am a frequent customer and completely intend on continuing my relationship with Panera bread.

Food was good but the place is filthy! The floor was disgusting and if you look in the corners you can see it has not been cleaned in some time. Makes me wonder what the food prep area looks like!🤔

The Lancaster location is the best. They treat all of their customers great. If you are a regular customer, management goes above and beyond to show how much they appreciate you. Danny and his Management staff always treat me like my business and loyalty matters. I love it.

This places is one of my favorite restaurants to go to. The food is always fresh and amazing. The staff is a dream. They’re understanding and give great recommendations. I wish I knew everyone’s name that worked there to say thank you because they all make it so easy to order and they’re so quick!!! It’s clean and gives such a positive vibe. I love it.

I bought Panera for the crew at work today. All of the salads were great. The breakfast sandwiches were also great. Their homemade bread is really good. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. There is a lot of good food at Panera. I'm a fan now. I had tried it years ago and to be honest none of what I said above was true and I never went back until now, so things have changed a bit, at least for me they did. It was certainly great this time.

Love a panera bread. This one is as good as others. Had to knock a star off for service as about two hours after eating I realised I didn't get my brownie I paid for. My fault for not realising really. Not a lot of atmosphere unfortunately, but that's to be expected. Enjoyable meal though.

Worked remotely here for most of the week. Customer service seemed okay, wifi was good, and it was clean. There are only 4 outlets in the whole dining room, so something to consider if you need to work from your laptop. The food, however, was delicious. Prices seemed kinda high (I'm from the Midwest), but everything I ate was delicious. As a bonus, their baguette was actually served warm! I've been to over 40 cafes during my travels, and this was a first! I would definitely come back if in the area.

Staff seems to be a little on the dry side, but the reason you come here is for the food. Which is always good no matter when you come. The wait is bad sometimes, however they offer I online and app options for ordering so you can just pick it up when your ready.

So happy indoor dining is back! Sad to hear that they don't have the chicken and rice soup anymore. Getting a a refill on my soda was a bit of a struggle.

A real nice a quiet and relaxing environment very clean very impressed with that but the coffee was cold. When they bring a fresh batch it was delicious that's the reason they got a four-star hopefully when I come back again I can race they're booting to a five-star otherwise a very enjoyable stay

First time ever eating here, I was only going to give them 3S because the food was mediocre healthy food that i could've made at home myself with the exception of spinach souffle(which was Bombay)but I received a baggie of free chocolate chip cookies so 4S it is. The employees were patient with me and helpful making my mind up on what to get seeing as how I've never stepped foot into a Panera bread before for as long as they've been around....

Staff are all super friendly and most know me fairly well after how long I've been coming there. Food is amazing especially the broccoli soup :)! Only downside if any is that on weekends it takes a little longer before soup is ready.. Also if you go early you may have the sun in your eyes so bring sunglasses depending where you sit!

Check your rapid pick up bag before you leave. 8/14, 8:30 AM. The woman who did the bagging looked me straight in the face and told me my pastry was in the bag. My fault for not checking, but it was NOT in the bag. Second time out of 3 orders placed here for rapid pickup. Last time it was the tub of cream cheese. There are a lot of able people out there looking for jobs...who won’t forget the items in the bag.

I love the food at Panera. Their bakes treats are amazing. Prices are steep, but you are paying for the quality. The downside of my visit was the messy look to the store. Granted, they were remodeling, it still gave off a bad feel. Alot of trash in the waiting area for to-go food and alot of spilled uncleaned soda at the drink station. More attention needs to be paid to make this location really good.

I would have given 5 stars but when. I got home and took my food out one side was missing and they gave me the wrong salad. I ate it anyway, and it was good. Next time I will check my order before I leave.

There once was a time when you'd order and have a seat, and they'd bring your meal out to you. Now they give you a pager, and you get to pick it up. Just a small example of how, while the food is still delicious, the customer experience isn't what it once was.

Flatbread pizza are not too bad. Customer service needs to have a lillte more listening skills. Even though they can get crowded, its important to listen to ur custo.er and hear what tgey want and don't give them what u want and want to charge for their mistakes.

Beware of rapid pick-up. I have no complaint about the food here. What I do have a complaint about is their so-called "rapid pick-up" service. I've used this service twice to buy bagels, and on both occasions, the bagels weren't ready. When I inquired with the manager as to what went wrong, she told me the order was in the computer but they were never notified of it. Say what? What's the point of the service then? I will continue to buy bagels here. I just won't use the rapid pick-up service.

This was my first experience at Panera Bread. We went for breakfast. They didn't have most of the things (that were not baked breads) on the menu. At least cross out or cover up things you don't have so that we don't waste our time standing in line to only have to figure out our order over again. The baked items we got were good.

The inside dining only has 3 booths, and the rest is table and chairs. It's not always that clean and many of the homeless use it as a hangout spot the few times I've been there. The food portions are very decent and have been consistent at each visit.

The food is good but the employees are lazy. I asked for a tray while I dined in because I had multiple orders with children, and they told me they don't have any, I swore the previous week they gave me one. Plus, it was hardly anyone in the dining area, and there was food on the tables and on the floor. I'm not sure what's happening in the Antelope Valley!

Food was good and come out quickly. But the fact that every available table was dirty and trash all over the floor makes the overall experience not great. I get it can be busy, but making no attempt to clean the whole time we where there really is not acceptable

The food was tasty enough. The sandwiches and the soups were great. The desserts were yummy. However, what brought down the mood on all that was the service. Nobody, but nobody seemed to be happy at their job. The nice ladies taking our orders in the front were not rude or anything like that. Let me be clear. It just wasn't hoppin and poppin, if you get my drift. One of the young girls in back where you pick up your orders who works in the morning was kinda rude and made me feel like I should have known their whole set-up when that was the first time I went. You all work with the public, and to be patient and kind doesn't cost anything, and you might get a good review OR good tip if you have a good attitude, just sayin.

This place was okay. I had the bagel with cream cheese. The cream cheese cost more than the bagel. It came in a prepackaged container. It was marginal at best. Not a great value.

I would imagine employees would greet customers with a genuine smile but that hasn't been the case the times I've gone. The booth seats are so worn down my behind hurt sitting there because of springs or something. The place really needs a face lift. The coffee's great though!

When i had panera bread a few years ago it was great. But now its all natural and a sandwich shop full of dumb liberals the food is horrible. I had a bacon turkey bravo and there was one half slice of bacon in my sandwich. Do not go to panera at all.

Visiting the area for 3 days, I had breakfast at this location. That was at about 9am each day. One of those days I had lunch here as well. This location is the slowest I have ever seen! Always was only 1 cashier, who also prepared all baggels orders. This caused a back up of at least 5 people in line at all times. Tables were also not kept up: nobody cleaned them after uses. There were plenty of workers behind the counter, once I counted 5!!! It was not busy, only 9 tables were being used plus. I really don't k ow how people in this area put up with this. Maybe they dont!!

Curbside here is pretty bad. I arrive, and everyone parked at the curbside pickup are eating in. How do I know? Because none came back out with bags of food. You know what would be nice? Some communication. After I was finally able to park in the curbside, I waited. And waited and waited. The app glitched out and wouldn't work. So after awhile, I decide to go inside to see what is going on. They're out of one of the items and waiting for it to be made. Meanwhile, the other items in my bags have gone from hot to room temperature.

Long line, only one cashier, run out of bagels (the most popular ones I guess). I got a buzzer that never worked, finally went to check my order, they had it sitting there. Usually good service at other Panera places.

I thought Panera was in business to sell bread. I went to the one in palmdale for a French baguette and was told she couldn't sell me one because the ones they have is for tomorrow. I thought the bread was fresh same day.

I dont think i have ever made a google review before but my experience was so bad I had to share. I ordered a steak and egg breakfest sadnwhich which they were out of the bread that comes with it and the only choice i had was an asiago bagle that was fine the cashier was friendly and nice. I also got a chi latte the food took 10minutes to come out and there was an ugly piece of uncooked steak slice in the sandwhich completly uneddible and the latte tasted horrible!! Avoid this place subway or mcdonalds is a much better choice there quality of food here is very poor!!

They did not have the first 5 things we ordered, which were all on the menu (on the wall). We stood in a very slow line, choosing our items based on what was posted. They should at least make a note, on the wall! The baked items were good, the other stuff...not so good. The cashier didn't even apologize. It will be a really long time before I come back.

Tables left dirty today, 3 booths appeared to be eaten by rats/ripped open/tears, size of items on display are larger than what is received once purchased, customers now have to pick up their own food items, server didn't care about her service today, took an extended break during our meal with no coverage, tea selections not filled, customer was given a dirty food box, cooks don't care about food presentation/appearance on plate, and server seemed not to know what she was doing. This location has really gone downhill. My family and I will not be returning.

This place serve can soups, I don't think they bake the bread either, because doesn't smell fresh. For this high prices I can open a can at home and get the French bread at Walmart for $1.

If you're here for the soups dont expect it to be done all the time. Its like a mcdonalds ice cream machine it usually isnt prepared and after long hours of waiting; from the morning all the way to the afternoon I called them and they still didn't have any soup ready. You'd be lucky if you ever heard them say the soup was ready lmao. At least the mac and cheese is always ready and thats pretty good so ill give it an extra star for effort.

I have been to several of Panera Palmdale restaurants was very disappointing. First they got my order wrong which I didn't say anything. There were a lot of dirty tables and the floors had trash which was not cleaned. The bathroom was smelly and someone had thrown up.l won't go back to that store, but the other stores were great.

If i could give Zero stars i would. I had a southwestern lime chicken salad that tasted ok, but an hour later I suddenly had a headache, upset stomach, and started puking all over the place. I don't know if you are serving toxic lettuce, raw chicken or bad avocado, but I'm lucky it didn't kill me!!!

Salad menu has changed and just wasn't anything I would get again. The explanations for the menu items was poor, got order wrong. Tables were dirty and chairs were sticky... super disappointed 😞

I've been going to the Lancaster location for a long time and the Lancaster location is always on point with service and quality. Palmdale needs to go train at the Lancaster store. Idk why the Palmdale staff has a nasty attitude, the food is gross like they don't care and the drinks they make behind the counter taste like pure water, it's dirty, I didn't even want to see the bathroom. They act like you are interrupting them from saving the world when you walk in there. Tonight's visit to Palmdale just made me grateful the Lancaster location exists! I will never go to this location again!

We will never ever eat here again. The Mac and cheese is disgusting and really watery. The salads are very small for the price and the ingredients are not the quality it used to be. The half sandwich was okay, but I just wish I had a better experience. Ordered on line for pick up at the Palmdale location. Sandwiches and cheddar broccoli soup. Soup is why I go there. Not anymore. Got the soup back home and it was water. The runniest worst soup ever purchased there. Place was packed and I figured they were running out so they watered it. You lost a customer over this one.

This is a VERY overdue review. The only reason I’m giving one star is because the food is actually good! The service, however, is consistently horrible! I often order using my app, so that I can just run in and out and be on my way. Several times my order has been screwed up (which nullifies the convenience of “rapid pick-up) and when I’ve gone up to the counter to get it rectified, the workers act annoyed that they actually have to talk to a customer! The people who work there do not know what customer service means! When I’ve explained what is wrong with my order, they act as if I should’ve just dealt with what they threw in my bag! No apologies! EVER. They can’t even honor my simple request to not slice my bagels! It’s time to find a different bakery. One that actually trains their employees to treat their customers with respect, and make them feel like they want to come back again and again.

I like coming here although it runs on the pricey side , but it is pretty fresh. I always get a broccoli cheddar bowl and today I decided to try the chicken noodle soup. Sadly it was so watered down. The stew was flavorless. I'm very upset especially because you pay for what you get except this time. Total waste of money.

They've drastically increased their prices - a You Pick Two (TINY cup of soup and half a sandwich) is nearly $15! Then they didn't even put any meat on our Turkey Avocado BLTs. It was a pickup order so we didn't notice the error until we got home (20 minutes away, so not worth driving back to the store). We won't be eating at Panera Bread again - we'll spend our money at locally-owned restaurants who actually make an effort to provide quality food at reasonable prices.

I'm temporarily in Lancaster and the Panera's out this way are so different than in LA! They run out of items, not friendly, etc. it's 9:38 am and all the souflees are gone. Employee says," I think we are done for the day as no more are in the oven". They didn't check or ask to confirm, working ofd "I think". Unlike LA area, they make sure to have enough items to last throughout breakfast.

This used to be my favorite place to have a quick salad. I don’t know who changed their menu but I won’t be back. They change their great sourdough bread . I don’t like your new soft, tasteless bread. The place is never clean. And plastic silverware. No longer a clean place to enjoy a quick, healthy meal.

Messed up my order and didn't tell us it was ready when it was sitting in the back. they initially asked us to wait when we arrived cause it wasn't ready at that time. they gave other customers their orders while we waited next to pickup and they didn't even acknowledge us until we asked for the order again( at this point our bag had been sitting on the counter for a long while) . Honestly don't even bother. I don't plan on ever going back and can't recommend this location to anyone.

Started going to The Panera Bread on 10th St. West, and this Panera Bread are NOT very customer friendly. Half the staff here seem like they’re always having a bad day. I already know what employees have an attitude so I avoid as much as I can. The coffee here is hardly ever fresh. In order to get fresh coffee, you would need to go super early or, otherwise, it will sit there until it runs out and then they will refill the large jugs. I rather buy my breakfast or lunch at a gas station. At least a gas station I get better and friendlier service.

Food tastes good but is completely over priced and it seems like the price just keeps on rising. I asked for a pick 2 and added a drink, tell me why my total was more than $24? They didnt tell me that sandwich could not be made half size so I got charged a full size when the sandwich was small anyway. When I asked to talk to the manager to see if there was anything they could do about it he just told me the sandwich doesn't come as a half option and did not offer me anything to remedy the horrible experience, he could have gave me a free begal or pastry for the misunderstanding, I was clearly in distress because I didn't have that much money in my account but the manager didn't help any. Don't go here, it tastes good but it's overpriced and the manager doesn't know good customer service.

This location deserves no star!!! Everyone knows Panera has great food but this location is always dirty and disgusting almost all tables are always dirty, dining area smells like old pump water. No matter how good the food tastes it can’t be good if the surrounding atmosphere is nasty and smelly. This should be blamed on the management as the lack good management. Now if the atmosphere is disgusting imagine what their cooking area is going to be like. I HOPE THEY WASH THEIR HANDS BEFORE MAKING FOOD!!!!

Their souflle’s are usually pretty good, but today I bought two and they were way undercooked. The inside was slimy, and made my 2 year old sick. When I complained to the manager, she said that, that is how they are. I have never had a slimy soufflé before today. And their customer service on this situation was terrible.

3/6/2026 I walk into pick up a DoorDash order, ask to use the bathroom first. Upon doing so I'm left disgusted due to the fact that there is NO soap what so ever not even an over the counter soap or sanitizer to be able to properly disinfect your hands after using the bathroom. I inform a staff member about it her response "we're working on it " I then ask how are they keeping their hands clean & she points to the sink in the kitchen just nasty, what about the customers?! She eventually just cuts me short & starts dismissing me by say "ok ma'am have a good day over & over again till I walk out. Code enforcement has been notified & a report has been filed. Not having soap in a place of business especially that serves food is not ok & completely unacceptable. I took a video instead of a picture so I can't post it here only pictures

Although Panera offers a nice ambiance. The food has little flavor or pride. The coffee was more like tea of coffee, the service has little to be proud of. Our food was ready for 7 minutes and no one rang the buzzer. I stood in front of the register for 5 minutes while 5 people were behind the counter. I was ignored. I finally decided that it was not worth to ask for a different coffee, instead just left it. Everything seems to be water down even the hibiscus drink. I know times are tough…. Just look at the color … and as we are walking out a handwritten sign was posted that said the restaurant was shut down… what???

The worst, I sent my girlfriend to get food, they charge her 25.99 for a group size and I can eat the group size in one sitting, then ordering a sandwich and changing the bread without warning making it completely change the sandwich and make it not taste well. My friend and I came to study here since our local coffee shop was full. Apparently they allow homeless to sit inside with their pets in this Panera, bathroom was dirty, tables weren’t very clean, my coffee came out of the thermos cold…it was an awful experience. I used to love coming to this location. I will say however the cashier was very kind and helpful but everything else was a gross mess, I lost my appetite entirely.

Ordered at the kiosk and ordered the chicken fontega sandwich. I put no onions and no tomatoes. Received bread with cheese and onions only. No chicken. No aioli sauce. Very disappointing. Spent $17 for basically a cup of soup and chips since the sandwich was useless.

I was a regular of Panera when the employees were well trained, attentive and friendly. This Panera has really gone down in customer service, food and overall experience. I have waited to write this review because I was giving them a chance to make things right. I went in 2 weeks ago and as I walked in no one noticed or greeted us, the girl in the front didn’t acknowledged us at all and when she finally did she said “Are you ready now?” No *hello how are you, what can I get for you? * nothing! I went ahead and ordered the Asian chicken salad, she said * we don’t carry that anymore “ the closest thing is the apple salad “ I said ok no problem. It was absolutely Nothing like the Asian chicken salad. I paid over $11 for a tiny salad and a hard half baguette thrown inside my bag, not wrapped or bagged. I was absolutely disappointed. I received the email from Panera asking how my experience was, I responded to the email explaining how my experience was absolutely terrible and later I received another email from the manager saying how sorry she is and how she will speak to her staff to make sure they greet customers and to come in to receive a meal and a dessert, I responded yes I would like that. I have emailed her twice after that and she has not responded anymore. I would stay away from this location as it’s obvious that they don’t want any business. I hope it closes down and they put another restaurant in there.

Got my meal today and found a long hair ; literally I pulled it out of my mouth. Felt so gross ans sick to my stomach. Even the person I was eating with saw me pulling the hair out with the piece of chicken . 🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢🤢. Yes, it can happen anywhere but “PANERA” being one of the most cleanliness!
