Lavender and rose milk teas come with flower petals in the drink. I think it's a nice touch that adds flavor. Boba is always good too.

The tapioca is very good, although the popping boba is kind of saggy and I wouldn't recommend.The drinks are consistently excellent. The staff are really nice and there is a student discount, too!

This is some great quality boba. And they were extremely fast! They offer so many good choices of drinks and toppings; it all looked so appealing! They make a yummy buttery crema that wasn't too sweet. The signage near the cash register is very detailed and the person working the registered was very detailed in taking our order (asking about not only ice and sweetness level but also the tea base). Their jobs has a nice texture (not too soft or too firm). They only offer one size, but it was pretty big..for cheap! I would definitely come back here again to try something new if I ever find myself in the area.

Really enjoyed the drinks here. I tried the matcha milk and the flavor was smooth and refreshing. The staff were friendly and the service was quick, which made the visit even better. Definitely a place I’d love to visit again.

The meat was flavorful and the veggies were a perfect compliment. The tea is amazing. Its a value spot with cheaper prices, great service, and a new, fresh, upbeat vibe. Best thing was that as I was eating my sandwich, one of the workers came out to give me napkins after she saw me spill a little!!! That is amazing service. The people here are kind, efficient, and have a great thing going on here. Ive always come here for drinks, but the new food menu makes this place even more special.

This place is a bit off the main California avenue drag. It's worth the one block detour. They offer different sweetness levels. I found their lowest (called 25%) sweetness perfect. The tapioca was fresh.

I feel like the tea has gotten better over the years! Got a classic milk tea and it was strong and flavorful. Looking forward to another!

The service at this place was fast - before my brother and sister had finished ordering their drinks, they'd already finished making mine. Tea and boba tasted good. They use Bossen non-dairy creamer in their milk tea, which is good if you can't have lactose. However if you're strict about no animal products, Bossen contains sodium caseinate, which is a milk derivative; they offer soy/almond milk as options that can be used instead of the non-dairy creamer.

Fresh fruit teas and boba are very good. They now also have some food (popcorn chicken, fried squid?) and asian snacks! Just wish they didn't close so early. Parking on street or in the lot across from the store.

So many choices! From the type of milk, amount of sugar and ice, they really know how to customize your drink. I was so excited to see that almond, coconut and soy milk were available. There is only one size though, which is probably the large at most places. Seating available out front and in the back. Small snacks also available. I'd be back to try out the large drink menu.

Ordered the Taro tea with 25% sweetness and it was good. Paid extra for Basil seeds and they left it out hence 3 stars.

The boba is ok but the wait is too long!! Waited for 10-20 minutes just for one drink with no one else in there. The menu never even changes.

June 2025 Update: Banh mi is still good, but the fries and drinks are just "meh" now. Fried were soggy and not well seasoned. The fresh garlic is still great, but that was the only thing it got going for it now. The milk tea was.......head scratching. The flavor is there, I can't taste the tea much, and the milk portion just tasted like watered down milk. The elements are not coming together, so that left me scratching my head quite a bit. Given my previous glowing review, I have hope that they can get back to peak performance. Summer 2023 The food is delicious! My partner and I each got a banh mi (I got BBQ chicken, she got tofu). We shared a garlic fries and a veggie eggrolls. Banh mi bread is warm and crispy, generous amount of pickled carrots, and the proteins are well seasoned, juicy, and tender. Garlic fries is AMAZING! Real garlic that you can see and taste makes it so much more flavorful. We also got a lychee slushy and honeydew milk tea. I find them enjoyable, and I don't usually drink bubble tea. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The place is small, so eating there is not likely for me even though there are seats available. Parking was easy, and I went around 6:30pm on a Saturday. Overall, I would go back again. I would recommend this place for banh mi and their garlic fries.

I waited almost 30 minutes for a basic milk tea with boba. The team preparing drinks didn’t seem to have any idea what was going on, and prepared drinks only in the order that people in line reminded them about it. Wouldn’t recommend this spot.

This place is simply dysfunctional. There were three people in front of us in line and yet we had to wait for over 30 minutes to get a simple order. Don’t go there unless you have a full afternoon to spend

My experience at Pop Tea Bar has been pretty bad. I ordered the Thai Milk Tea with boba as a topping and the tea tasted like slightly flavored water. I ordered two more drinks for my family and their complaints were similar to mine. Their drinks were watered down, and barely had any flavor. The only decent part of our drinks were the boba pearls themselves, as they were decent.

Got the popcorn chicken and it was a soggy overcooked mess in the bottom of the bag. Chicken was rubbery.

Lychee green tea was bitter and tasted vaguely of grass, but otherwise without flavor. Bad boba, too. Very disappointing, worst boba tea I’ve had
