Super busy but well worth the wait. Our server Thalia along with other servers kept up with the high demand tonight. This place is definitely worth visiting if you’re in the area. Great food and service!

I really wish I had taken a picture or two, but sadly I did not (sorry). I had the 16 ounce ribeye (cooked medium well) with French fries and a side salad (with ranch). The steak was cooked to the correct "doneness".. and we seasoned just right ... it tasted very good!!! The fries ... well... they were just plain old fries... but they were done right as well... cur reasonably thin... fried until crispy, not soggy at all. The salad also... just a plain old salad... simple lettuce and a few small tomato, and two slices of onions, and a few croutons ... (the ranch dressing was good). (If I had one complaint, it would be the price ($30.99)... I am trying to learn not to complain about the price.. our brave new world and I are having a hard time coming to terms in regards to economics). My wife had the santa fe chicken, with baked potato and a salad, it looked visually appealing, and she seemed pleased with it ($16.99). There were a few other menu items that sounded interesting as well... the "Cobb salad" is one that sounded good.... We were returning from Colorado to Oklahoma ... we had started our day (driving) from Alamosa, CO at about 9:30am ... we had driven about 350 miles (without stopping)... and had only eaten a little trail mix through the day... our dinner was at about 5pm (we had not ate a meal since noonish the day before)... so we were VERY hungry ... We were very pleased with the food... our server did a great job waiting on us... and the inside of the restaurant was very clean, decorated very nicely... was a very pleasant experience. This town looks like it has fallen on hard times... a lot of businesses are "closed' ... a lot of disrepair in the town... we drove around the town and attempted a few other places before choosing this one... we also have experienced hard times... and our hearts go out to the community.... (was pleased with our choice).

Best steak I've ever had. I've had a lot of steaks. This beats NYC and Chicago top houses. Ordered their largest ribeye medium rare. Came medium rare with a perfect char. Wedge Salad was also good.

This might have been the best meal I have ever had. The service was amazing and the food was off the charts. I wanted to kiss the cook and hug our waitress. Eat here you won’t be disappointed.

The ribeye and rolls were fantastic. I made the unfortunate mistake of getting the pasta..yuck. Don’t do it. Sauce was the consistency of dishwater, and had no flavor. Our server got me something else to eat quickly. He was working his butt off-can’t say as much for the other servers..it was frustrating seeing them slacking with a full house.

Loved the decor here! The wait staff was really nice! The rolls here are soooooo yummilicious! I had the one of the burgers with sweet potatoes... fries were okay... my loved one had the rib eye steak and it was a little more done than it should have been. But, overall, it was pretty good considering we just had to walk from the hotel :)

Asked for my steak Medium, it came out Medium Well; luckily I will still eat MW steak if I have to. Server never came to check on us until we were all but done. Most steakhouse will ask you to cut into your steak when served, not just put ot in front of you and leave. Also,not sure what they season or marinate the steak with, but I wasn't a fan.

This place use to be soooo good but has gone down hill. The service the past few times we’ve been has been awful. Today I ordered to go and was told it’d be ready in just a little. Waited 10 and it had been sitting on the shelf the entire time, after 2 different employees checked. Use to be a favorite, but man it’s hard to get past the bad service lately. One time I got my food a whole 30 minutes after the rest of my family in sit down dining. Today, specialty burgers were missing some toppings also.

Our food was excellent. Hot and fresh. We ordered to go. I called four times to place this order. Jayden answered every time. Three times he put me on hold only to hang up. Fourth time I was able to place my order. Went to pick up the order, very nice lady went to see if it was ready. Jayden then brings out my order, throws it at me, demands thirty three dollars. As he went to run my card the waitress apologized for his rude behavior. He brought my card back threw it at me and didn't say thank you kiss my A$$ or nothing. Returned to my room, missing a salad.

It took around 2 hours to get our food. When we got it, most of the people at our party said their food was either cold, dry, etc. Other people who got here way later got their food and left before we even got our crackers. The food was being made for 2 hours, just to taste like it sat their for the time being. I've been here many times before and it hasn't been this bad.

Let me start by saying we have been coming to the Rose for 15+ years. We've always loved the food and service both. In recent years it has been hit and miss on the food. Likewise with the service as the younger waitresses have become more numerous. If you happen to go in when some of the older lady's are working you'd do well to request their section. You will not be disappointed. However from now on if I go in and do not see one of the older ladies I will be turning around and finding somewhere else to eat. The steaks have been very disappointing and underwhelming the last 2-3 years. Today's Angus Salad was no exception. It came out with 4-5 small "chunks" of what I assumed was roast trimmings. I was pretty upset about it but decided just to eat and go on. The meat was extremely over salted and pretty dang tough. It absolutely was not steak. And there was barely any of it on the plate. You get more meat in a 6 piece McNugget box than I got on that salad. This isn't even touching the wife and kids meals. So we saw our waitress 3 times. When she took the order, brought the order out and finally when she came to bring the ticket. The meals were very poor in taste, quality and quantity. Ive never minded the price at the Rose but today's 100$ ticket just angered me more considering the experience we had. Normally its THE place to go eat in Pampa. Today though being one in several recent visits with similar experiences makes the Texas Rose a hard pass for me now. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I do not recommend dining at this restaurant if you expect to be treated with basic respect. My family and I had a pleasant experience up until it was time to pay. Our card declined because it was an outdated card, which is a simple and common issue. However, the way the staff handled it was completely unacceptable. Multiple waitresses and the manager openly spoke about us in a rude and unprofessional manner. While waiting, I overheard staff in the back calling the situation “embarrassing.” Shortly after, the waitress returned and informed us that the card declined in an extremely condescending tone. At no point were we given a proper opportunity to provide another form of payment. We ultimately paid in cash using a $100 bill. Although we had already left a tip, the staff took it upon themselves to keep additional money from our change without permission. That is not only disrespectful but unethical. While the food itself was good, it does not make up for the poor treatment we received. Customers should never be mocked, judged, or taken advantage of. I strongly suggest reconsidering this establishment if professionalism and courtesy matter to you.

We waited over an hour for lukewarm, mediocre food. It was 1pm on a Monday, and the place was mostly empty. We ordered, and waited. And waited. After 45 minutes, the waitress finally addressed us, saying the fryer had turned off. We ordered the catfish plate, and the hush puppies were raw in the inside, the ribs were black, hard, and charred on the edges, and tough as a boot. The prime rib sandwich had sat under a heat lamp at least ten minutes, and the fries had been recooked at least once. (I know this from working in food service since 1992). We were comped our teas, and offered free dessert for the major inconvenience. Too little, too late. We will not be going back. I rarely leave bad reviews unless I feel it warranted to save people from wasting hard earned money. Over $50 for 3 people to be extremely disappointed in a meal.

I had high hopes that the Ribs now at the old Dyers facility would be better than @ the North Pampa place that burned. But it was not to be. I have had dry leather that had more moisture than these inedible pos. The excellent service and the dinner rolls are all that made this somewhat pleasant. Definitely need someone that has just a clue how to run a smoker… however, had the fried catfish before and it was Excellent….
