Needed a quick bite to eat while in the area and on the clock. I was craving something small but nourishing. I was considering heading to a local Hmart for a some kind of asian snack or small plate. Then I had the idea of asking Google maps for "spam musubi near me" and low and behold Bmans teriyaki popped up. I took a quick glance and saw they sell Musubi. I rerouted and was satisfying my craving in no time. Staff was helpful. I got 3 spam musubi for like 11 bucks. Fair price in my opinion. They were delicious. Exactly what I needed for my hour long drive back to work. This place is known for their burgers, but that musubi smacked. Looking forward to trying other items here in the future.
I usually go to the spot to pick up prescriptions and hate the parking lot. Decided to try this place because it looked like a Waba grill. Surprised to see such a large menu from teriyaki cheeseburgers to shrimp, musubi and curry fries. Cheeseburger and fries were delicious.
B-Mans is killer. Great food, consistent quality, fast and friendly service. Bonus is the owner is a great guy who takes care of his community and give back
Delicious local joint with teriyaki, Teri fries, orange chicken and burgers, served hot and fast in a casual atmosphere. Why are you reading this? Go!
This is the last place on earth that gives you the correct amount of fries in a small fry 😭 almost absurd. 1000/10 service. Delicious food, very clean. The ABC burger and the curry fries are so good. I will be back
B-Man’s Teriyaki is one of those places that delivers exactly what you’re craving when you want something hearty and comforting. I ordered the beef teriyaki and the chicken curry plate, and both dishes were excellent. The beef teriyaki comes with a generous amount of tender slices coated in their signature sauce — slightly sweet, savory, and honestly one of the better teriyaki sauces around. The chicken curry is the definition of comfort food. Warm, creamy, and flavorful without being heavy, it’s the kind of dish you find yourself thinking about days later. Together, the two plates made for a really satisfying meal. One thing I always look forward to is the Tsukemono cabbage. It’s crisp, tangy, and refreshing, and it adds the perfect contrast to the warm dishes. Between the huge portions and the consistently solid flavors, B-Man’s continues to be a great spot when I want something familiar, filling, and delicious.
Place is great, May feel a bit expensive at $20+ a Teriyaki plate but the portions are large and quality of food is great. Compared to "Biig E's" teriyak in San Gabriel who has a similar recipe and priced slighly lower, it's a cleaner business, safer neighborhood, quicker service, and overall pleasant environment/staff. I highly recommend.
This place reminds me of Spikes from back in the days. One of my favorite teriyaki places . The abc burger is also delicious along with teriyaki fries. Pro tip get a cherry Fanta. No other restaurant that I know of sells cherry Fanta as a fountain drink. Yes you can make cherry Fanta on a freestyle machine but it is not the same.
I had been craving a good burger and B-Man’s did not disappoint. I ordered online for pick up. I did arrive a bit early but service was quick. Food was GREAT!! I will keep this on my list of places to go. ;o)
Absolutely love this place! I used to live close by, now live by Citrus College (where there was another B-mans location years ago). The food has always been delicious, plentiful, and a great value. I love the teriyaki and curry combo bowl. It seems some the of the lower recent reviews were from some salty people who are trying to extort free food from the business. Definitely come here if you love teriyaki, burgers, curry and everything in between. I’m bummed there aren’t more locations, so it’s crucial we support this one and keep it going!
Best tasting teriyaki bowls with a side of fresh avocado. Crinkles cut fries with a delicious curry sauce and juicy charbroil burgers. A must try! Just a few doors down, you'll find an original Boba tea place called Half&Half with a unique combination of boba tea flavors and snack treats to go along. Try their sweet cream toast with a Boba tea.
Great first experience at B-Man's! We ordered two ABC burgers and a large curry fries. It was busy at 5:30 on a Wednesday. However, it only took about ten minutes to receive our order. We could see the fast efficient teamwork in the kitchen. Impressive. The food was well worth the price. The curry fries were the wow factor. Crinkle cut fries smothered in Japanese yellow curry with pieces of braised chicken thigh mixed in. What? That is a comfort food dinner for two for ten bucks by itself! About the burgers, on par with the freshness and presentation of In-N-Out but without the long wait in the drive through. Pro tip: Ask for extra teriyaki sauce on the burgers. Based on our experience today it seems that they drizzle a bit of sauce on the patty as they cook it. Kinda like the In-N-Out mustard grilled patty. Full disclosure, we tried this place because of a Burger Show episode by First We Feast on YouTube. The burgers on the episode were doubles with teriyaki sauce dripping down the sides of the burger. I understand the need for food sexy pictures for promo. I encourage you my foodie friends to make it a reality.
Fire burger. Peppers are spicy. Combos are good value. Dont eat any other burger in a 50 mile radius. Go here.
Was good except for the name. He got banned MULTIPLE TIMES on Twitch for a reason! Take his name off of your establishment. That's like calling your restaurant "Diddy's Diner".
Good local spot for Teriyaki dishes. We like the burgers here too. Love that they carry crinkle fries as not many places do. They even ask if you like the fries crispy or soft. I prefer crispy! Some good variety here and I need to try more of what's offered. Plenty of parking available.
Listen I know y’all see tons of 5 star reviews but I can promise you the food is mediocre at best, especially for the price. A chicken plate is $20 if you get it with breast, which was so dry that multiple pieces scraped the roof of my mouth, annnddd it doesn’t come with a drink. You also have to pay extra for steamed vegetables, or else you get a salted cabbage salad that was SO salty even my 90yo grandma thought it had too much salt. On top of that the service is poor, they all look miserable to be there and the cashier couldn’t stop looking off into the distance and mumbling while taking our order. The fries were good but my boyfriend’s sprite had black specs in it. Please save your money.
Service was horrible rude. It seems like ericka didn't wanna be there. Her not wanting to be there made me feel the same . It didn't feel like a welcoming environment. Just remember it cost nothing to be nice ... Food was great , was clean but Service was poor 😫 Sauce was 66 cent and they really act like i wasn't gonna buy it . If , I paid 40$ for a meal why wouldn't I pay 66cents for sauce lol ... Honestly I think overrated. Miss the spikes in san Gabriel I wont be back Still think BigE in Rosemead is better with free Sauce and great service
Ordered the chili cheese fries but I guess technically chili fries because the cheese is $2.00 extra, wasn't told this but thats whatevers I guess. When I first opened the box I caught a quick glance and saw how hefty it was which was nice but then when I got home and fully got a look at it I was HIGHLY disappointed to see how much chese I was given for a $2.00 uncharge, not nearly enough for the price I was charged. Update: I tried adding more cheese to it to at least hopefully make up for their lack of cheese(still peeved for being charged 2 bucks for that little bit of cheese) and honestly that didn't even help. The chili just isn't for me. I now see why they are known for their teriyaki.
March 2018 - first time to try this place based in the friend's recommendation. I was pretty disappointed by the overall experience. The cashier was a bit gruff, the teriyaki chicken, while plenty, was tough/dry and not really that tasty ( maybe because I came close to closing time?). The macaroni smelled funny. The spam musubi was a thick brick of rice. I wasn't too impressed with the environment either. I won't come here again.
Ordered a Terriaki Bowl and Large Mac Salad. Inept cashier heard "chicken salad". Charged me $7.00 more and then proceeded to make me wait 10 minutes for my refund. Acted like I was stealing from them... then asked for an extra sauce and offered $1.00 for $0.66 sauce and was told to stand in line to pay for a sauce after waiting 10 minutes for a refund. Miss Spikes... just about miney now, no good service. Must be what happens when you have a following, you can treat people with no respect for their own mistake.
Ordered Chicken Curry, one pint. Asked for less potatoes. Got home to eat & container had not one piece of chicken. All sauce and two carrots. When I called BMan, Monica said that’s how it comes and they could not credit me on my card. Only if I drove all the way back to exchange. I don’t live in the area. When I said that I wasn’t happy with that, she just hung up on me. That’s their customer service.
