Tried and true favorite in the neighborhood since the 1980’s. Portions are big they use a variety of vegetables which are fresh. The spicy garlic chicken with pan-fried noodles (over white rice is good too) is one of my favorites. It’s not on the menu that way, but they add jalapeños and chili sauce to the regular garlic chicken and it kicks it up a few notches! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

My husband and I, are new to Fresno and tried a few Oriental places and by FAR this was our favorite place. The service was very fast and friendly. The food was delicious. The inside is very homelike and comfortable. I definitely recommend it! The price was WAY better then some of the other places!

There's a reason why they are still here, price taste and service is just what I want from a Chinese diner. No fancy table clothes etc. But the food, price and service are amazing. I love this spot. 👍

First time eating here and Oh my GOD! Amazing food, my dad went to culinary school and he would cry tears of joy if he came here. I can taste the love, there's so much on one portion you will definitely be taking home leftovers. We had the pot stickers and you can TASTE the home made dough and see the hand pinched work on the edges, absolutely beautiful. The food stays hot for so long you can tell it's fresh off the stove. I can't wait to bring all my friends and family here I literally started crying it was so good. Surpassed my expectations and skyrocketed to my heart. And as a bonus the prices here are amazing. Speedy service. And the KINDEST fast food service I ever experienced!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

The food was delicious!! Top ten Chinese food I've ever had!! Would definitely recommend it! The girl working in the front can be a little weird she'll try to joke around, but she's not funny. They are very expensive, imo but the food is worth it.

I completely forgot about this place since I moved to the other side of town. I was in the area & craved Chinese food after coming back from a 2 week vacation in Mexico. Driving by I asked my husband to stop. They don’t disappoint. They still serve large portions of food. They also made it to my liking. So delicious! I’m going to come back again very soon. 😋🤤

Service is good, staff is friendly and welcoming. It's not the prettiest place but I'm not much on ambience. Plates are generous and most the dishes I've tried are great and have a lot of flavor. Pineapple chicken could use more pineapple. The black pepper beef is outstanding, not too spicy. Rice is always good, pan fried noodles are on the crispy side. Food comes fast and hot. Located conveniently on the corner, small parking lot but enough for the restaurant. Lots of entrances and exits

The outside of Bamboo Chopsticks may not get your attention but the friendly service, large selection, huge portions and yummy food make it worth a try. Bet keep you coming back. I can’t recommend Curry Tomato Beef Chow Mein more highly. Intense tomato and coconut curry flavors meet with noodles, thinly sliced beef and vegetables in the perfect thick sauce texture combination to make a delicious dish. Very hearty comfort food that hits the spot. The Sweet and Sour Lemon Chicken is nice and tart with sauce poured over chopped breaded chicken. I got it with plain noodles and fried rice. Little containers of chili oil and hot mustard were included to go.

Chopsticks is delicious ,the service is GREAT! They remember their regulars & even memorized what I order every time lol. Never had a problem with my order. I always recommend people to try it out here. Now I got my whole family hooked on Chopsticks 😁 you get a good amount of food for a great price.Promise you won’t regret it! Sadly I don’t come as often as before cause I moved to Sacremento ,there NO other place as yummy as chopsticks , so when I’m in town I always go. Thank you so much for such great service!s

They were super busy on my visit. But I still got great food. Meal included delicious soup, and the lunch special was huge! The egg roll was crispy and delicious. It was waaay too much food for one person

Very good chow mein I recommend the combination chow mein the best there's only one thing I didn't like the pork ribs no thank you but everything else delicious 😋

When you think of that neighborhood chinese food, this is the place. Orange chicken had a nice light crispness and well covered in the tasty sauce, the fried rice is full of flavor and the chowmein was nearly spot on (maybe too much sprouts on top). And large portions, great deal. Update 1/22: wasn't as good as I remember

Gigantic serving size for pretty cheap, delicious food (I had the shrimp fried rice). Its kind of confusing, so when you go inside you can either order to go or order to dine in. I went and awkwardly found my own seat and had apparently ordered to go so they had to fix that. Not a huge deal, really cute place (kitchen looks kind of scary but what can i judge the food was great)

First time for my husband&I yesterday. We ordered orange chkn&lemon chkn upgraded the two. The food was really good but we expected more food as we did an upgrade. Since we live on the opposite side of the city, we'll definitely bring the kids if we're near but I would say, maybe bigger portions if it's an upgrade. I've had other Chinese food before with more quantity&cheaper also

We ordered two plates, and it wasn't that a long of a wait. I got teriyaki chicken with fried rice (I recommend getting it with white rice instead) and he got orange chicken with noodles (good combo because the noodles are a bit plain. The food quality was better than other small local Chinese food places in Fresno, but nothing fancy. It'd be nice if their plates had separate sections so the food doesn't touch. I will definitely eat here again.

We've been frequenting this restaurant since it opened. Very nice service, fresh, delicious foods. Special requests are honored. Reasonable prices. Family friendly. Small, but worth it. One thing, their bathrooms need an upgrade.

Went right before the rush which was 230 pm nice and quiet food portions are huge everything tasted good

I always order Mongolian beef. This time it tasted pretty sour. The chili's were burned. I mentioned it to the waitress. She offer another plate. Then the cook got so angry and aggressive started yelling that I just wanted free food. I told them I just gave my opinion. A constructive criticism opinion. Sadly him and some other lady kept on yelling at me.

The food was well prepared and tasted good. Took longer than expected for them to prepare the food, but only had to wait an extra couple minutes for the takeout. Overall, had the meal costed about $5-7 less for 2 people (we ordered two entrees and it totaled $20), then I would say it warranted 5 stars, and the service was excellent for the brief moment I was there, but at the price it was, a little late on the preparation and overall flavor, I'm saying they're about 3.5 stars. We will probably try there again, if given the opportunity, and I'll update my post then.

Initially I gave a 5 star rating but the quality has gone down hill little by little. I give up & I'm changing my rating. Was forced to try other places and will note how much better they were. I wish they get a grip & get it together, I really used to appreciate this place. Update: it's been about a year, portions are unsettlingly small for so much money. Average $35- $40 for two adults. Forget about left overs. It's so sad. I am dedicated to supporting mom & pop businesses and this is not worth shoppers regret. I wish this business to continue to prosper. It's just not in my casual budget.

The food was bad. I got chow mein and it was hard, dry, no flavor, unpleasant to eat or look. Dried uncooked Ramon Noodles is better than this. The only thing that was good about the place was the designs inside, seats and the drinks. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it but the staff were friendly.

The pinneapple Chicken has sweet and sour pork suace on it which is NOT what I expected. The noodles were flavorless and didnt taste too well. I think the mistake was going before closing . I believe it would habe been different if we went earlier in the day.

Came here and the the waitress was awesome but the food was not. I ordered the sweet and sour pork and The rice tasted way to mushy, and when i got my plate it had 5 small pieces of the pork olny. My brother ordered the ribs and they gave him 3 pieces that were all born. It was so ridiculous. We both decided never to go again.
