Got the dinner and a show option here with family the other night, the performer sang great and was very funny. He was able to balance out the slow songs with the energy of the audience and grab their attention with interactions. Food and drinks were great, the Amor pasta and amor Margarita were delicious.

5 star service and food. So many places now days rely on sauces and dips instead of incorporating flavor in their food. This place knows how it is suppose to be. The service was superb. Generous music performance in an intimate atmosphere. Wow. Not what I expected when I saw BBQ or the name Hawg Heaven. Dessert was like a fancy restaurant.

Great place to chill! Relax and unwind with great service, excellent food and live Jazz music 🎶. Sunday brunch from 1-3 pm or dinner which starts 5:30 pm. We didn’t purchase the tickets at Goldstar. Just called directly to restaurant to save our spot. Our whole group said we’d definitely be back!

The best BBQ I have ever had. They just give you a huge platter and put everything on it. Everything on there is amazing and caused a multiple flavor explosions in my mouth. Incredible stuff.

I was summoned to serve at the Pasadena Court House for Jury Duty. What does that have to do with this establishment? Nothing. Other than the fact that California gives you $15 a day for your service and that this restaurant is a short 2 block walk from the courthouse. At Hawg Heaven, you will find the most amazing $12 smash burger. For the past 2 weeks Eric has been serving me this burger every day while I have served in my civic duty - it has been nothing but consistently delicious. -The smash burger is amazing and a fantastic value compared to other surrounding eateries. -The vibe is calm and friendly. -Eric is a joy. -There's a 2 for 1 happy hour. In conclusion, if you've been chosen to serve on a Jury duty in Pasadena, dont be too bummed. Head over to Hawg Heaven to have a fantastic "government provided" lunch. Even if you're not doing your civic duty, give them a try. The food's quality is enough for me to come back again once the trial is long over.

We wanted to try a new place in the area and I’m so glad we came here. I got the Mac n Brisket burrito and my mouth is still watering from how good it was. The perfect bbq burrito… holy cow! The salsa is great, too. And there’s a live band in the evenings, a show on the weekends! We will be back!

My husband and I decided to check out this restaurant since Barney’s next door was over an hour wait. I’m really glad we did. The food was amazing. We tried their pulled pork, kids cheese pizza, beef sliders, Brussels sprouts, and topped it off with their bread pudding! All really good. We will definitely come back to try more of their meat entrees. One negative note I would leave is that perhaps maybe add more fruity cocktails on their menu 😋

This place was a pleasant surprise! Delicious food and beautiful space. Eric was a great server and bartender. The appetizer platter and skirt steak were the stars of the show but even their sliders were great! Fries are fresh cut like In and Out but thicker. I think this spot could become popular maybe if they did some more PR to get the name out there because the location is prime and the quality of the food speaks for itself. I must add that I did visit for lunch time so I’m not sure how dinner time is! I would recommend.

The brisket sandwich was really good brisket and next time would just do the meat. Good sweet potato fries and big portion. The quesadilla and guacamole were really good. Wings and chicken sandwich were the standard. Service was friendly and we were greeted and seated right when we walked in.

We came to try the food. The food looked amazing, smelled great. I would have LOVE to eat the food... but its very loud. Too loud for my kids. So be warned, for family with little kids are kids that don't like too much music, this is not for you. I WILL COME BACK! For myself to eat the food.

No waiter in sight for drink refills etc. They told us the side of cornbread we ordered would come out 'in a few more minutes' once we had finished our food (an hour after we sat down). Food was mediocre, and too expensive. Mashed potatoes and calamari were pretty good. Ribs were dry and flavorless, not very meaty. Fries were the worst I've ever had - i think they were microwaved? They were limp and chewy. I think maybe this place has survived on tourists? Its not good bbq and the service was epically terrible

We visited on Valentine’s Day, hoping for a special and memorable evening. The live band created a fun, lively atmosphere, and we were excited to celebrate there. Unfortunately, we were surprised by a few unexpected charges. We later realized we were billed for hot water, which was never mentioned by our server. In all our dining experiences, we’ve never been charged for hot water before, so this was confusing. Additionally, an automatic 18% gratuity was added to the bill without any prior notice. While we understand that some restaurants add gratuity on holidays, clearer communication would have made a big difference. We went in feeling happy and excited, but left feeling a bit disappointed. Transparency about charges would really improve the overall experience.

Thought this was a family friendly restaurant, but apparently the night we came it was more like a club. We were seated but we got up and left without ordering since it was too loud to even talk across the table.

Did not get anything. Here 5mins and i don't like this place. Drove all the way from Santa Clarita to here in Pasadena. Wanted the Brisket Loaded Bake Potato which they have on the menu still on there web site. So for some stupid reason they don't have it anymore. Unbelievable!!!!!!
