I’ve been to numerous Zankou chicken spots and they all have the same delicious taste and quality. This review is based off an Uber Eats delivery and I ordered the half chicken plate with cucumber salad/rice. Love the garlic butter sauce and it really makes the meal along with the pita breads. The chicken quality is perfectly cooked and seasoned. I’d definitely go here again and get some more of their other meals. It’s a solid recommendation to get you filled up for lunch or dinner.

We absolutely love Zankou Chicken! It is our favorite Mediterranean restaurant m. All of the food is prepared fresh and is delicious. I always get the Chicken Kebab Plate with Rice and Tahini Salad plus tons of that amazing Garlic Sauce and Tahini. The staff is very friendly at this location. They have a small parking lot behind the restaurant but you can almost always find street parking as well.

Came for lunch and had the Half Chicken Plate with Basmati Rice and Hummus and it was delicious! I love their garlic sauce for as well! Finally the service is always friendly and pickup is fast easy too.

My boyfriend and I came here on a Sunday evening for dinner. They were pretty busy when we came around 7pm so we had to wait about 20 minutes to get our food. We ordered a combo plate (can pick any combination of 2 skewers). We picked chicken kabob & shish(beef) kabob for combo. It came with Basmati rice, cucumber salad, roasted tomato, hummus, and pita bread. It also came with a small container of garlic paste. Both of the meats were juicy and tender. Their bread and hummus were also amazing. The garlic paste was also very garlicky. Everything was delicious. 😋

Love Zankou! The rotisserie chicken is awesome but the garlic sauce is what steals the show! It's ridiculously delicious. Hummus was good as was cucumber salad. Must try!

The Hummas and tahini are really good, but the chicken and meats are just OK and lack flavor. It isn't a place to avoid, but I would go out of my way again. And I have given them several shots always thinking maybe I ordered the wrong thing. But I have determined, it is not me, it's you.

I used to comeback to pic up my combo plate of chicken and beef, delicious, I understand everything is more expensive but the food here is not cheap, we pay $16-$18 for a combo plate, that now has gone down on quality, it seems like the cook has changed, but I would like to know if its going to get better again to comeback, if not I’ll need to find a better place, like the ones in Glendale, authentic! Best Shawarmas are not here anymore 😏 advice: be careful if you drive into the back parking lot, it’s not worth it, better park on the street than getting stuck or hit a car, that meal would be very expensive. Service it’s pretty good, always nice and professional, don’t get frustrated if you have to wait, there’s a wait if they’re busy, now they get so many to go orders and pick ups from delivery apps. Have been a costumer for over 10 years from this and different locations.

Consistency is key! Every location I have tried, the quality remains elite. The service can use some help, it's very annoying when you order your food for pick up only to arrive at home to find out you didn't get what you ordered and the drive back just throws a wrench on your day and your meal. If it wasn't for that garlic butter I would not have returned to this location but it's the one closest to us. The steak skewers and roasted chicken is our choice and we pair it with their hummus, cucumber salad and cabbage salad. This meal never leaves us feeling sluggish as long as we avoid that pita bread. It's hard too but we do. I also like to order extra pickled turnips because you don't always get it with your meal ❤️

The food was very scrumptious, the portions were fresh and healthy with a side of goodness. The hummus had a special ingredient that I couldn't place, over all good food and a team of helpful staff thru the whole process. Will defiantly order again..very clean area.

The food is delicious but 4 out of 5 times, they “forget” to include an item that you paid for in your to-go bag!! CHECK your bag before you leave. Horrible service I can’t believe they haven’t figured out how to pack orders accurately.

Terrible Customer Service I had one of the worst customer service experiences at the Zankou Chicken on Colorado in Pasadena. When I politely asked the front desk for a cover, the woman working there completely ignored me and refused to even respond. She was extremely rude and impolite, acting as if I wasn’t even standing there. I was shocked by how unprofessional she was. I ended up having to ask another employee just to get basic service. This location seriously needs to train their staff on how to treat customers with respect. Very disappointing and unacceptable.

Been going here for years but they need to get their act together. Ordered on the app, showed up and they told me chicken was running behind and it would be 10 minutes. I waited 15 minutes…never called my name. Asked if they were sure my order wasn’t done before I arrived. They checked, nothing. So I waited another 10, then 20, then 25 minutes…still nothing. Finally asked about a plate that had been sitting there since i got there…that was my order. It was cold as could be at the girl tried telling me she just put it out and it was fresh. I don’t mind that they overlooked an order, mistakes can happen, but telling me she just put it out when i had been waiting 45 minutes and this cold plate was fresh… They have no system and do crazy business. Someone needs to figure this out because my last three times using the app nobody can find your order so you don’t know if it’s done or if you need to wait. Great food but the place is as disorganized as can be. Terrible experience.
