Nicely appointed rooms including a comfy bathrobe to use during your stay and also available for purchase. Great dining room and the complimentary breakfast is outstanding. Yes it's dog friendly too with a special grass area for your four-legged family members.

We had a great 3 night stay. The staff is great. It is a family run business and we saw the owners on site. The breakfast is made fresh. We saw the chef in the kitchen cooking. The parking was easy. It was a 30 minute walk to downtown. Hotel is very clean and quiet. Microwave and fridge in each room. Also has a keurig machine. There is fresh tea, coffee and cookies in the lobby. The WiFi kept turning off for me.

Really nice hotel, good size rooms and good breakfast. Only thing the hot tub did not look good.

Most of the motels in Paso Robles are within an eyesight of U.S. 101, including The Oaks, so I expected some traffic noise. To my great surprise, there was none whatsoever. The rooms were very nice, very clean, well-sized, and moderately priced mid-week. Of course, whatever cost $273 for two rooms mid-week, turned into $550 for the weekend - so we found other accommodations.

Great location, very quiet and well-appointed for my stay. An easy drive to local attraction Sensorio. Breakfast was very nice, the usual choices available. Staff was very accommodating and provided answers to my questions.

Place was great! Pet friendly and good breakfast. Staff was super friendly and super accommodating with coming in late. Would definitely stay again.

Great hotel - we will be back! Everything was super. Just one suggestion: replace the sink filter so it doesn’t spray so much. All staff phenomenal!

The hotel and room were perfectly fine. The breakfast consisted of the standard fare of eggs, potatoes, cereal, and yogurt -- however it was prepared on-site and was of higher quality than many hotels. The hotel was quiet, I appreciated the pillows, and there was a good space to walk the dog on neighborhood streets. The hotel was kind of expensive however and the dog fee was $40.

Tips: - book direct on their website and subscribe to mailing list to get 15% off. It's cheaper than Expedia pricing Review: Pros: - excellent location by highway and close to downtown paso robles - excellent free hotel (hot) breakfast - excellent fresh cookie treat upon check-in - hotel was able to accomodate early check-in. Cons: - a bit old. one of my bed sheet (topper) had mild stains but hotel staff were able to help address - wifi is very slow All in all - the pros outweighed the cons and it was a very pleasant stay.

Overall the stay was great the best part was the buffet breakfast. One thing is that the tile that was installed in the bathroom were not done correctly, there was signs of cracking and staining due to uneven surfaces and did not use a grout sealant to prevent stains. Basically was not to installed properly. Make sure whoever does your work double check. I see to many pay for work and end up having to pay again to fix it down the line.

Really good and accommodating. Ended up taking the security deposit twice but all sorted in the end. The room and bathroom were good and spacious. Breakfast included and decent overall good service for the money. Would recommend

Room was clean, bedding comfortable, accommodations were great, especially that they offered a great breakfast buffet inclusive with the hotel rate and a filtered water refill station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was secure with free parking and a quiet vibe. Full bar and quaint lobby area. I will stay at this hotel on my next trip to Paso Robles.

Love the Oaks Hotel and Suites. That’s are a dog friendly hotel, they give you a welcome cookie when you check in and a drink ticket for their bar and they have breakfast in the morning. The rooms are spacious, they have a couch, mini fridge, microwave and Keurig machine.

Ryan and Maria were very professional. Excellent employees. Every time we had a question, Ryan and Maria were there to help us and answer our questions. Our room was lovely. Full breakfast was delightful and sent us on our way, happy

The room we had was a very comfortable and a good size. The location was perfect for our stay and close the The family members we were visiting. Also, the provided buffet breakfast was very substantial. We will stay there again.

We really enjoyed the provided amenities: daily breakfast, all day coffee/tea/cookies, and on site parking. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and very helpful services from staff/housekeeping. The location of the hotel is safe, convenient, and near freeways ramps. Eateries and Grocery Outlet are within walking distance. We had a great time staying there.

This hotel was perfect while we attended a wedding. Short drive from downtown, has guest washer/dryers, breakfast buffet and the kindest staff! We didn’t get a chance to use the pool or the fitness room but if we come back we’d stay here again!

Great experience, kind staff, quiet room with everything I needed. There was a gym and pool but didn't have enough time to use them. There was also complimentary tea/coffee and cookies.

My husband and I have been staying at Thee Oaks Hotel for many years now. It is always clean , the beds and pillows are very comfortable. Very much so love the breakfast included in the morning, it is excellent!! I also love how at least one of their elevators is always open on your floor to take you up or down 😁👆 The fresh baked cookies and always available water Coffee and Tea are also a plus . Thank you for another great stay!!

We've always been treated very well when staying at The Oaks Hotel in Paso Robles! The location is very convenient and easily accessible to downtown. The staff are courteous and responsive to our needs. The included breakfast was a plus! However, the electrical outlets were in such bad shape, we had trouble operating our medical devices. Specifically, the outlets were very loose, so loose in fact, they wouldn't even hold their own weight and xan damage sensitive equipment and pose a fire risk! We notified the staf who did offer us a different room. The flow restrictor sink faucet was a joke and we could have used a spray pump bottle instead. In contrast, the shower was very nice! Overall, we will return to this hotel because they are both very dog and people friendly. Hopefully these minor issues will be addressed to make future stays better for everyone.

The Oaks in Paso Robles is an excellent hotel with great service, very nice rooms and solid breakfast options. We came with two small dogs and this was turned out to be our best stay for all (humans and canines) during our road trip. We had the small suite which worked well, I put a blanket we brought over the couch and the dogs did not want to leave it lol. It's also close to restaurants, bars, wine tasting rooms and shops too. We walked to Bubba's BBQ close by which worked well with doggies too.

Pretty hotel, nearby the touristy areas everything is 10 mins away or less. I was mostly impressed with free breakfast, so yummy and complete. The only minor detail was the tv, it was a little old school, not a smart tv and very few channels to choose from, besides that happy stay!

This hotel was a last minute find for us. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice and clean it was. Great service, big rooms with his and hers robes and slippers. Great water pressure in the shower. All you need is your own toothbrush and toothpaste, they have the rest. Everything was nice and comfortable. The outdoor jacuzzi was piping hot with great jets too. Breakfast included with ample seating and a good array of food options. Definitely will stay again when in Paso Robles.

Our stay at The Oaks was absolutely wonderful! Rooms were beautiful, the beds were super comfortable and you just felt soooo pampered! They provided us with robes and slippers and they include a delicious complimentary hot breakfast for their guests! Location couldn’t be more perfect … less than 5 min. from quaint downtown Paso Robles, minutes from the wineries, 45 min. to Pismo Beach and about the same to Hearst Castle. I highly recommend The Oaks for your next Paso Robles vacay!! We wouldn’t go anywhere else!!

We liked it so much we extended our stay. This was mid November 2025. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The property was clean and well maintained. We have been traveling since early July 2025 and have stayed in many hotels from San Diego to Alaska, this was hands down the most comfortable bed we have had. The breakfast was very good. This is the first hotel where the eggs were not soggy. Jim, the breakfast host was a delight. And the had the Discovery channel on, not the news. Something I very much appreciated. The hot tub was clean and hot. While we didn't use it the fitness center looked good. Not large, but we'll equipped. The only thing I can knockdown on was that the pool was closed, but I never asked about getting it uncovered, not did I want to use it. The first morning we noticed that a guest had spilled coffee in one of the elevators. I mentioned it to the front desk and it was cleaned by the time we were finished with breakfast.

Very nice rooms, perfectly quiet! Even the heating system was also quiet of a type of window unit that typically is very noisy. Nice bathroom with plenty of towels, bath robes and high end soap and lotions. Unfortunately, the shower leaked on the bathroom floor - a design flaw. Breakfast was ok, better than most but not much flavor or texture. Considering choices in Paso Robles, this was the best for its price range.

Amazing ! I loved it here ! For the price you cannot beat it! The rooms were clean and had a lot of space. Every employee was very nice and knowledgeable. The free breakfast in the morning is amazing! I cannot say enough about this hotel. I didn’t expect to be so satisfied with my stay and will be booking again!

All staff was very nice and accommodating. Room was clean. Breakfast was outstanding and freshly cooked. Eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, waffles, yogurt, sweet rolls. Overall a great experience. We would definitely stay here again!

The Oaks Hotel is a great place to stay. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is really yummy (only wish they had bacon instead of ham). Only issue was that we saw handprints on our car indicating that someone was checking out the interior of our car at night.Nothing was taken though. This is our go to place in Paso.

Nigel and Sherry were the best and most amazing front desk people ever! They were EXTREMELY accommodating to my family and I when we stayed there this weekend. The room was good but the bed wasn’t the best however because of the service we got from Nigel and Sherry, we will be back! They deserve a raise for what they have to put up with and for how nice they are!!

Great location, clean rooms, comfy bed, and the free breakfast was really good—not just a token spread. Staff were all friendly. However, the soundproofing was poor. We stayed on the ground floor and at 5 a.m. heard loud shower and water noise from upstairs, plus footsteps and hallway chatter were very clear. Aside from the noise issue, everything else was great!

S
Sandy Caban

Overall the room and service was good. My two minor complaints are that the couch arm was dirty and the hair dryer was sticky. Both items needed to be cleaned and sanitized prior to a guest’s arrival.

J
Jennifer Gaunce

The room is nice and large and well set up. The pool and hot tub are showing some age. The breakfast is standard - the hot water for tea was not hot, but the rest was good.

S
Susan Hendricks

Breakfast buffet very good with lots of choices. Bed very comfortable. Only issue was the tv is very challenging to work so had to have a hotel person show us how to make it change channels.

S
Sean Dowden

Fantastic overall. Rooms are a little dark could use some tile or plastic floor in a lighter color. Pressure in the shower is good, too good actually; pressure regulator might be good.

M
Margaret Avellar

The room was quite big and very clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The staff at check in was very helpful. The location isn’t a good part of town but they keep the grounds clean and well maintained.

D
Diego Romero

They need to remove things off their website. We planned our trip with the car we drove (EV) because the site said the hotel offered plug ins. We paid for it and drove our EV thinking we would be able to charge at the hotel. Instead we had to carve out 2 hours out of our trip to find to do this elsewhere.

C
Chuck Bruffey

The bartender was not good at his job; unable to pour beer, do room charges or operate the TV. It was also perplexing that the bar was out of 805 and Barrel House beer given that both of these breweries are only a few miles away. We love the bar service but find a better bartender and keep in stock the good local beers.

I stayed here while competing at the horse park one weekend. Everyone on staff was super friendly and helpful. It was very dog friendly for my dog and it was only 10 minutes away from the horse park making it very convenient.

I'll give our room a 3 because 1- the shower sprayed everywhere BUT in the shower, leaving a flood all over the rug and floor after, even with the curtain fully closed. 2- The air conditioner made an awful noise all night when it came on, continuously waking us up. But the staff was extremely friendly, everything was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. We were able to walk to the fairgrounds and even felt safe doing so after 10pm. Would stay here again

J
Judith Sumner

Pros: Very nice staff!! We would stay there again! We appreciate your accommodating pets. They have a pet area complete with poop bags and trash can! Desk staff very nice. Cons: i was bombarded with texts & emails for check in. I confirmed my room 1 time. That is it. That is all you get. No, I will not upload my drivers license to your software. Too many hackers out there. You can get my DL when I check in and when I give you my credit card if you want my business. House keeping - please refill the coffee and cups every day. thanks. Heavy homeless area. If you don’t mind the rest is good!

Returning after exercising there was no hot water. Called downstairs and was told they had a problem and let the hot water run for a while and it would eventually arrive. Called front desk and was told new hot water system installed - keep water running. Went down to the laundry room and the workers checked and said it's fixed now. Half hour later it finally warmed up. Got up next morning - no hot water - was told to let it run for a while and it will get to the 2nd floor. Ran tub hot water for a half an hour, what a waste of good water, it finally warmed up. Will stay somewhere else on next visit.

I give this hotel 0 stars if there were negative stars I’d give -100! I’ve been coming here for a couple years. The cleanliness is HORRIFIC and the staff, Maria specifically is so rude. Ryan the night shift guy is AMAZINGLY SWEET. I never made it a huge issue about the cleanliness because I usually stay no more than 1-2 night. This most recent time around , I left my stay early due to the cleanliness and mean staff. Here is all the proof of the filthiness. Even the so called “ clean sheets” they got from their laundry room came with stains. I asked for the so called manager Tom to make it right but he only made things worse. I will NEVER GO BACK !

M
Michael Haller

Rude!!! I stepped in to grab a cup of coffee with the intention of reserving a room as I checked on the rate night before with the kind night person. I was immediately approached by a rather aggressive staff member then two more followed telling me I had to get out that I couldn't have the cup of coffee unless I had a reservation, why would anyone want to reserve a room with that kind of treatment. I was dingy and tired the reason for the room is because I am helping the community with the homeless situation and echo shelter. The room is for myself and KSBY to use to do intake from a few of the homeless in the area so they can be heard. I usually rent rooms from Holiday inn and La Quinta I thought I would try to give this hotel a try. But not after the way they treated me they threatened to call police and lock the door which would affect other potential customers as well. This kind of treatment needs to stop in the community just because I'm tired and the way I look didn't affect the cash in my wallet or the money in the bank it would have taken care of the two nights I was planning to reserve. I've done plenty of work in the area my mechanic is right next door to them they could have been a little more respectful . Then they would have learned a company such as I own a business for 25 years and well-known in this community. Honestly I would stay clear of this hotel because of their condescending, judgmental attitude, got potentially would just cause more issues throughout your stay. A gentleman even tried to take me outside "talk" that it was being honest it was a ploy to get me outside so they could lock the door RENTER BEWARE!!!

Stayed memorial weekend. The morning we woke up there was a bust. Went to take a shower and there was NO hot water. We called the front desk and they said everyone was calling it was the entire hotel. Then a few minutes later the power in the entire hotel went out. We couldn’t take a shower and get ready to start our day. It started to get warm in the room. When we checked out all they said was the manager will get in touch with us. She never called us I called several times to see what they would be doing for our inconvenience of that morning. No one had answers. One woman told me i had to be patient. They said they would give a partial refund and they still haven’t done that. I will never stay here again. Dont stay here. The hotel needs to be updated. UPDATE: Dont trust it. The response below is inaccurate. We tried and tried to contact someone and they gave us the run around. They still don’t care or have called or done anything for the tremendous inconvenience. Sheryl Sue is the manager that supposedly was going to call us. It has now been two months. DONT STAY HERE. The rate isn’t that great and there are way better hotels in Paso for similar rates.

V
Valeria Carrara

Hotel is really nice but the assistance is awful. I have tried to contact them via booking and via email directly as they have messed up with my deposit (they charged it twice). They didn’t bother to reply to me, and I find this really disrespectful. So be really careful when they charge you the deposit. I warned them as soon as I saw the wrong amount, but I am still here waiting for them to refund.
