Nice food, nice people, nice environment, good music.. There were two option during evening for dinner: happy hour food and normal meal. We preferred to have proper dinner and everything was Ok. Just for your information: there was not English menu, so translation was a little bit difficult.

Il locale, molto bello, è situato in pieno centro storico. Sono curati tutti i dettagli e risulta, oltre che elegante, molto professionale. I camerieri sono tutti gentili e disponibili. La qualità del cibo è buona. Buffet variegato all'aperitivo. Ottimi caffè, cappuccio e brioche per iniziare la giornata con un'ottima colazione. Lo consiglio!

Uno dei migliori locali di Pavia, per qualità e prezzo. Ottima colazione con brioches fresche e buoni aperitivi. Locale pulito e ottimi drink, unica pecca per esperienza personale è stato il servizio. I camerieri la sera durante l'aperitivo o in post serata non sono molto attenti alle richieste del clienti e spesso si dimenticano parte della comanda. Nonostante questo vi consiglio vivamente di provarlo.

Posto chic, aperitivo aumentato a €12 con alla fine molte insalate, cocktail buoni e bell'ambiente interno, anche se saletta sopra strettina e fuori anche con stufette fa freddo l'inverno!.

A centrally located lounge bar in Pavia. The bartender is the best in the place. Thanks to him, everything runs smoothly. Not only is he skilled, but he's also available to explain the various ingredients and entertain customers. Fast and helpful service. Perhaps the wait staff is a little too cold and aloof. Otherwise, from coffee to cocktails, it's a good meeting place.

Passeggiando per la prima volta in vita mia nel centro di Pavia, mi sono trovato di fronte al Demetrio caffè ristorante. Ho deciso di farci unitamente ai miei amici un apericena. I cocktail sono davvero molto interessanti per quanto riguarda la parte dedicata al buffet, l’ho trovata un po’ misera. Comunque il locale è davvero molto carino compreso il personale. Specialmente uno dei camerieri, giovane con i capelli scuri, che ci ha accolti e fatti accomodare, è stato molto gentile e poi lui è bellissimo.

Aperitivo serale gradevole, consiglio vivamente di prenotare dato che è molto gettonato come locale nel centro storico Pavese. Atmosfera ammaliante, servizio celere. Varietà simpatica di cocktails: menù visibili attraverso scansione QR. L'aperitivo proposto sazia, composto da diversi antipasti mignon a cui viene abbinato oltre il drink, anche un mini dessert con frutta di stagione.

Bel locale nel centro di Pavia. Fatta una pausa pranzo con un piatto unico di terra. Secondo me si può fare meglio, sia con la scelta che per qualità, comunque ci tornerò perché merita una seconda occasione.

Solo per un aperitivo semplice 15€ mi pare esagerato...si può cosi capire perché il posto era quasi vuoto...una volta mi ricordo era più frequentato e con servizio migliore...

The staff were rude, especially at the cash register, and the pastries were lacking. It's a real shame, because I'd been there as a child with my grandfather (I lived in Pavia at the time), and it was a whole different story. I still remember the waitress's kindness and the cream canoncino I ate!

December 8th. We decide to stop for an aperitivo at what's described as one of the most renowned and elegant venues in the city. The place is packed, but despite not having booked, we're kindly shown to the upstairs dining room, which is currently empty. A great start. Too bad that from there begins a sort of sociological experiment on how long a customer can be ignored. We sit for at least twenty minutes without anyone noticing us, while other customers arrive. At a certain point, the waiter in charge of the dining room appears and distributes menus... to all the tables except ours, leaving without even looking at us. Apparently, being the first to arrive didn't even warrant a greeting. After a few more minutes and the intervention of a second waiter, we finally manage to intercept the first and politely ask for the menus. We're asked if we want the herbal tea or cocktail menu. I reply "both," since I want a herbal tea and my partner a cocktail. All hell breaks loose. The waiter snorts dramatically, flares his nostrils, purses his lips, and sighs in annoyance, as if I'd insulted him or as if he were facing someone incapable of understanding, repeating the same question in a rude tone. I calmly repeat that we want both menus. He disappears. He returns after several minutes and, with the grace of an Olympic thrower, tosses us a menu of herbal teas and a dessert menu, before disappearing again. At that point, we both order a cocktail and also ask for two chips, enunciating carefully; perhaps a refresher course was needed. Chaos ensues. Tables receive random appetizers, incomplete orders, customers wait. We see our chips and olives arrive at another table, where a woman, appropriately surprised, asks for an explanation. She's told that "they're included in the aperitif." Too bad nothing else arrives for half an hour, with an increasingly nervous child. The ensuing discussion culminates in a very elegant "go fuck yourself..." from a waiter who evidently thought no one was looking. Pure class. Our cocktails arrive without appetizers, which arrive only halfway through after repeated reminders. Excellent chips and olives, it must be said: probably the only thing that worked. At the cashier, we're asked if everything went well. I try to explain my disagreement, but he arrives: the waiter in question (brown hair shaved at the sides with an upward fade, a perpetually sullen and annoyed expression). He interrupts, draws attention to himself, and effectively ends the conversation. The end. Such behavior is unacceptable in a venue open to the public, regardless of the quality of the food or the location. The disrespect, arrogance, and nervousness of just one person caused inconvenience to customers and colleagues all evening. We have no reason to advise against it. We'll probably return, hoping that the owners will pay more attention to staff training and, perhaps, take responsibility for what happened. Apologies, every now and then, are still in fashion.

Bad. We arrived for the "aperitivo", and they warn us in a bad way that in 20 Min it ends, well oh well, let's make our ape, and we also take little desserts. After a while we ask for the spoons, and the waiter replies "I CAN'T, THEY HAVE COLLECTED ALL", so I reply that "Are you serious? Don't you have teaspoons in a club?". They thinks they are a fancy club but NONE of them speak DECENT English ... Also when the waiter brought drinks he only brought 3 cocktails exclaiming "that's 60euro". I had to point out that if he wanted 60 euros, since math is not an opinion, at 15 euros per person he had to bring another. Could they be a little racist? absolutely yes, since we had a veiled guest, and we noticed the difference in treatment from the other times. Too bad, because our friends were guests on vacation, we would have done many more events, but we will leave money and tips elsewhere.
