I go to Sorrento's all the time as I work right next door and did live in Pearl River for close to 2 years. I go in there all the time to the point all the employees know me by name. I can say this is one of 2 of my favorite pizza places as for I eat a lot of pizza as im always working 3 jobs and always on the go. I would recommend this place to anyone who asks where to get a good meal. I get customers at the shoprite (where I am currently employed) right next door and they have asked me of great places to go out and eat and Sorrento's is always my first or second recommendation. Most often they do come back and tell me how great it was. Even though I do not live in Pearl River anymore, I still work next door and I still will travel the 30 minutes to come get a good pizza pie or meal.

We've been going here for years to the point that they know us by name. Everything on the menu is delicious but try their chicken sorrentino and margarita pizza! Their pizza is thin crust so there's nowhere to hide bad ingredients!

Salmon was amazing. The guy at the counter knew i was looking for that feugo food and pointed me in the right direction. And great service from everyone including the cute waitress that brought out our food.

Thanks Sorrentos for another great meal. The chicken Marsala and chicken parm dinners were delicious. Also we always enjoy the Italian combos, salads and cannolis. The soups are great too. A delightfully charming restaurant / pizza place that is filled with local families and friendly faces. Children frequently come with their parents. The staff is kind, welcoming, easy going and accommodating. The pace is medium to the slow end, and we never feel rushed.

Always love the food here for a quick bite. The pasta fagiole is one of my favorites as well as tortellini alfredo! The garlic knots are super and the herb pizza they serve in place of bread is different and so yummy. Always busy with both takeout and dine in orders!

LITERALLY (& not when people say literally, but mean figuratively) the best pizza I have ever eaten! They have plenty of other fantastic dishes other than pizza, too! Their soups are fantastic, calzones are great, and their sicilian is just as good. I don't mention their desserts, because I almost never get dessert. Anywhere I eat. Even home. So I can't speak to those. I've heard that they're pretty good though! This is not so much a review of the food but a review of the people. I will preface this by saying the pizza was the best we ever had. The crust was perfect, seasoned to taste, and just a very enjoyable experience. Now, the real purpose of this review. My wife, myself, and a friend have been bringing my brother-in-law, Richard there for about 15 years. Richard lived in a group home for the mentally retarded and whenever we came to see him he always looked forwarded to going to Sorrento's for pizza. We loved taking him there too. We already discussed the pizza, now we will discuss the people. They knew Richard and his situation and they treated Richie with respect and kindness. I think he liked going there because he felt at home. Everyone smiled, everyone talked to him and he was cared about, not as a customer, but as a fellow human being. He was just a guy that liked good pizza and occasionally some very tasty meat balls. So, to the 2 gentleman behind the counter, the waiter that was an absolute gem, my wife and I thank you. The hour or so you gave Richard about once a month will never be forgotten by us. Richard passed away on Tuesday, 12/22/2015. So when you are there enjoying a slice of their pizza think about Richie for a minute and realize, not only are you eating great pizza but it being made and served by some very special people. Thank you very much for your caring and kindness.

I enjoy the food here. Enjoyed it in high school when we could just walk straight there, I still enjoy it. Good food.

Service and Pizza were fabulous!

First time there on a whim and great outcome. The meatballs are not the usual solid bowling ball of meat...they are well made and tasty. The penne alla vodka was good...I added some oregano and parsley and it was perfect. The thin pizza style garlic bread is really unusual and great tasting. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant itself looks very pleasant and clean.

Sorrentos was my go to spot when I lived in Pearl River. Moved to Tappan last summer and have yet to find a pizza place as good as Sorrentos even though there are a ton of options a few minutes from my house. Recently had a pizza party and all my guests loved the pizza! I will forever make the 15 minute drive for some Sorrentos pizza ;-) :-P

Simply the best! We used Sorrento for our wedding after party at the Pearl River Hilton, which started at 10pm. Order was hot and ready, and it was the perfect snack for after wedding. The guests all loved it!

BEST pizza & Italian dishes in Rockland, hands down! I have going there for over 25 years and NEVER had a disappointing meal. EVERYTHING is GREAT. Soups, pizza, appetizers and main dishes all prepared fresh. The sauce is the best I have tasted ANYWHERE. I have taken many friends there and never had a complaint! Laidback staff let you eat im peace but if you need anything they are right at your table.

The pizza is delicious and there are so many choices. The herb pizza is simple but very good. Highly recommend the Bobby J and the chicken ceasar salad pizza. You'll definitely find a favorite here.

Great atmosphere, great fresh pizza! I was in town only three days and wish I could have eaten here every single day but my company was providing lunch on the other two days. Damn, this is just good pizza, man. Many varieties, very friendly staff, obviously a big local group of fans who were known by first name. Loved it!

Sorrento's is our favorite casual family Italian restaurant! While it may have its Origins as a pizzeria, it has been serving quality Italian food at moderate prices for years.The food is so much better than the Casual ambience. So that means you don't have to get dressed up to have very good Italian food. While they also can provide house wines, most people bring their own favorite beer or wine which they happily will help serve. Our family has been going to Sorrento's for probably about 10 years. Their food has been very consistent and the staff has always been polite with very little turnover. BTW... If you forget to bring your own bottle of wine or beer, you can conveniently purchase some next door at the ShopRite Liquors store.

Delicious thin crust pizza, highly recommend the grilled chicken, spinach and roasted peppers pizza. Minus one star for the employee that was blaring Fox News from his cell phone during his lunch break.

The pizza had way to much parmesan cheese for my liking but if you really like that you will like the pizza. 6.8 on the One Bite scale. The service was friendly and the place was clean as well.

Great food, good prices, nice staff. I find myself here at least a few times a month for a nice hot meal. Choosing something a little different each time. You can't go wrong with favorites like chicken parmesan or francese, but they also have a nice selection of pastas and seafood. Be sure to also ask to see the specials of the day. This is a nice place to bring your family for a good meal and quality time together.

I had some homemade out of the can lagsana from this place a few weeks ago, I definitely can say a frozen meal from supermarket would be a better meal than this "homemade " pasta, first time and last, usually I could anything, tasteless, salty, overcooked, undercooked, spicy or even cardboard taste food, but this dish ended up where it belongs!!

The specialty pizza with mushrooms was delicious but the garlic knots were tasteless, barely warm, and dry which was disappointing since I specifically asked them about the taste of the knots and the staff were so enthusiastic about it tasting like garlic. I wish they were honest and just state they were out all day and had no apparent seasoning at all. Times are hard and when you can treat yourself once in awhile, it hits hard when the food is bad. On the bright side, they had a military discount and specialty slices are good but expensive. I remember a time when pizza was affordable, now it seems like everyone is charging full pizza prices for slices. It's cheaper to buy frozen pizza than buy them local which is a shame since I love supporting small businesses but when you get cheaper prices at corporate chains like Dominos and Pizza Hut or even the grocery store down the street then it just doesn't seem worth it to keep giving this place my business.

My housemate ordered a large pie with multiple toppings and soda. We were asked what payment method we'd use and said cash. When the delivery girl arrived my housemate asked for $7 back as twenties were all he had. She said she had no money on her - during dinner rush - and opened her wallet to back this up. After some uncomfortable time with no agreements she said she had it in her pocket and handed him a balled up wad of bills and left. When he placed food on table he unwrapped wad to find $3, ten short. He immediately phoned the restaurant and offered to get a ride there so as not to screw up her deliveries. Was told there was no need to come and call ended by them. A second attempt said please hold and dial tone. I made attempts but each time I politely gave my address I was told to hold and disconnected. To not carry a small selection of bills for change is poor business as many will choose no top over a 50.% one. The food is great and many people from my area order from here but considering it was my money I feel scammed.

I don’t usually order from here but I did on Friday night and my gosh! How rude my delivery driver was. He was very late and when I said something he rolled his eyes. When I answered the door he was hitting a vape and he didn’t greet me, just stuck his hand out for the tip. Such a shame because the food was delicious!

I don't know what happened since the last time I was there but it has went downhill fast. On a Saturday night it should have been packed, always was in the past. Now? Nobody was in there. Like crickets... Only reason I gave it 3 stars for food was the pizza was still good. The food however is complete trash. Soup with absolutely zero taste, like legit got water with chunks of chicken. Alfredo that was probably frozen, watery, bland. Penne Vodka was bland, had to use half the salt shaker for some flavor. The veal was like leather. Service was ok I guess. Asked for some bread with dinner and the waiter looked at us like we had three heads. And brought us out those cheeseless pizza strip things. Um just wanted a little bread and butter. And the tables were sticky lol like I had to put down napkins so I didn't have to feel the stickiness. Like I said Sorrento's was always real good solid Italian food. But not anymore! Sad 😥

I got charged extra for onions on an Italian combo.need I say more ..4 little chopped up pieces of onion. Hero was weak all bread no contents.terrible. also around dinner time they don't answer the freaking phone they need more people to take orders. How much business do they lose for this. The food's pretty good but it's managed like shit.
