This is the best ice cream parlor to get a kwiver. And when I asked if she can mix an ice cream twist with a chocolate dip, she thought it would be hard at first, but the ice cream and the dip went through without a scratch. And I had also ordered whipped cream on the top as well. And it was very tasty and delicious. I will most definitely come back here again in the near future. But let me say this for the all the other people who are coming to this parlor. They are not open year round, they are open from April-November. I have had their ice creams before in the past and I was very satisfied with their ice creams and I will most definitely come back again.

Have been coming to King Kone for years. Not only are the employees very nice but also managment. They treat both their employees and customers like family here. And if you're lucky on some nights you may even see some classic cars here.

It is safe to say that my universe would lack much without King Kone. What may seem like drama to you, is really to identify the establishment as a life-line for me and my family. We have always found the teenagers behind the counter to be more than friendly, even amidst snaking lines of soccer kids. Milkshakes. Yes. Cones. Yes. Take it any way you can get it, the soft stuff must be had.

King Kone is a great outdoor ice cream parlor. I remember coming here in the summer to get an orange and vanilla ice cream! It’s a shame that it’s closed right now. ☹️

The frozen custard is really good. They have banana boats, which are better than banana splits, because banana boats come in a boat.

Awesome place! Went here for a scoop with a couple coworkers after a hard day at work. I really appreciated their prices, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better deal. The kiddie scoop was three bucks, whether you got hard scoop or soft serve. I got coffee hard scoop. Most places have a surcharge for hard scoop, but this place doesn’t. I appreciate that kind of honest pricing. There are tables to sit at that are shaded and service was good. Coworker got their version of a blizzard and said it was really good. This place keeps it simple and does ice cream well.

Take care not to trip on the uneven asphalt when stepping up to order! It's painted for a reason! Other than that, I love the ice cream here. I get a typical hot fudge Sunday. We've also had the cookie sandwiches, which are yummy.

Still a great alternative. This place used to be dirt cheap. It's not anymore - it was $4.50 for a small cone with sprinkles when I visited today. But it's still way better than Dairy Queen cost wise. Cash only here, be aware.

I liked it, and I kind of wish that there was a place to sit there. Perhaps, they are still under restriction from the Quarantine. I'm not sure, but some tables and seats would have been nice. Other than that, it was a pretty standard ice cream place. I'm pretty sure that it's been there forever.

Excellent place for a variety of ice cream. Price is about the same as every else. Down side is that it's on a main Street so getting in and out can be a hassle especially when it is hot outside and crowded.

As soon as Spring arrives, King Kone is my family's go to ice cream destination. I usually get the small soft vanilla ice cream and Monica get the cookies and cream, 1 scoop. Almost like family that serves ice cream.

I had the butter pecan with roasted coconut topping on a sugar cone. The ice cream was delicious. I didn't like the coconut topping (and I'm a coconut person). It just didn't do anything for the ice cream. I found that there weren't a lot of flavor options. The drive from the bronx was about 40 mins give or take. Nice scenic views. The area is very quiet and the customer service was okay. I would go back for ice cream here.

Lots of options, including milkshakes, ice pops, ice cream sandwiches, etc. Reasonably priced with decent size options and pots of flavor/topping options. Parking is a bit tough, making the turn from the main road into the compact (and usually packed) parking lot. The lines are usually long and instead of each person at the counter taking the next person's order, they assign one person per group - which seems to take longer and cause more confusion. But the ice cream is good and there are a few seats in the parking lot (not enough for how crowded it gets). Overall, a great ice cream stand when it's not super crowded.

Great outdoor ice cream place. Edited. Was good and the ice cream is good but you get short changed on the size of the cone. I brought this to the workers attention and they tried to tell me that a cone, clearly the size of a small, was large. They didn't care. I could see it on their faces. The service is good for sure. However the ice cream is sort of mediocre. The soft serve was good. It absolutely was real ice cream. However, the hard ice cream was meh. I did love that they were so well priced. I did not expect that at all. I would come back but only if I’m in the area. I don’t really see myself going out of the way to visit them.

A total mess.. ice cream's good, prices decent, but the disaffected, deliberately(?) incompetent teen staff not good for blood pressure. I try to avoid going, have a friend who'll refuse to even consider eating, even if someone else goes to get.

Way overpriced especially for the amount you get and rarely getting anything in the cup. If you go to the supermarket the ice cream is way cheaper and you will get more out of that. The ice cream will last you a couple of times.

COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT......Sorry we went. We went for a birthday ice cream treat. The soft serve ice cream had zero, and I do mean ZERO flavor (even after TRYING to taste it), and the shakes tasted like ice water with milk in it. And this feedback is from people who find Wendy's Frostys delicious and flavorful....in other words, we're not fussy. Will not be going back. Can't understand the positive reviews (?).

The kids at the counter had no idea how to make half of the foods advertised. They also had no vanilla hard ice cream. What kind of ICE CREAM SHOP has NO VANILLA ice cream? Not worth going back. Also extremely overpriced for cheap, shelf stabilized ice cream. “What are the exact ingredients for a malted milkshake?” “Is there root beer in that?” Seriously? You want to pay me to do your job?

After two decades of coming here, I am not coming back EVER again. Purely upsetting. My 80-year-old grandfather came here following his chemotherapy appointment and asked for a kiddie-sized cone with $3 in his hand. The server refused him a kiddie cone because he is not a "kid." He was asked to get a larger size, but did not have enough money and left empty-handed. I am just so heartbroken by this lack of compassion from a local and family-owned business. I think we can do better. ):

Do not go to this place unless you want brendon that works here ask for your child’s name and when he tripped and bruised his leg and then he dropped his ice cream and his friends was there and he had to go home so his friends were still there and they had to clean it up and for a regular cone is $5 like wth but my child doesent want to go back there anymore do not recommend this place when your child does something wrong your child has to clean that up that’s the workers job they get paid for a reason. Dont know what the hype is for this place but the prices are unnecessarily high for just an ice cream cone. You can get a tub of ice cream at the store for a cheaper price. Also they have a stamp card but you only get 1 stamp per visit.. I've never heard of that rule.

Bad customer service. Actually horrible customer service. You know what? The worst customer service i have ever experienced. They asked people to leave the bench area because it was 9:30 PM and they needed to clean the floor. Please do not go there, the vanilla tasted like banana. McD's has better ice cream!
