Just moved to the historic and beautiful city of Peekskill. Yesterday I placed my first order at the Oriental Palace and the food was unbelievably delicious. I was treated courteously and received a sincere thank you for my purchase. The prices are fair. I will be returning often!!!!

One of the best, if not thee best chinese place in the area. Each plate has its own unique sauce/recipe. Most place has three sauce orange/brown/seafood base. This place seems to take pride in the actual recipe. I recommend "chicken in three flavors" or "dragon and phoneix". Club seafood also delicious. Big foodie here! In the Peekskill & this side of Cortlandt area, it doesn't get better for Chinese. Food is fresh, "clean" (not too much thickener/starch, coating/batter. Often none:Yay!), hot as can be, and delivered anywhere in Peekskill with a thankful smile. Good (not great) hot&sour soup (broth isn't as properly thin EVEN at 'fridge temps as it used to be, please stop using those AWFUL THICKENERS!). Extraordinary Singapore Mei Fun. They will alter nearly any menu item if you ask when ordering, and they have ingredients for it; just ask and then don't quibble about price change. The food is VERY good, and if you ask, it is a little spicy/spicier: You get what you ask for! They happily accommodate gluten-free diets (though use your own common sense with this aspect: gluten hides everywhere, and it's tough for anyone to find all of it. But they do try. Tell them "no soy sauce unless they can show it is gluten free). NOTE: As delivery is free and they are on the EXTREME north side of Peekskill, consider giving the driver a decent tip if you're not close (please folks: they're the nicest of people). It's pretty much TAKE OUT ONLY. not a dine-in place. No attempt at atmosphere, but that's not their thing: Taste take-away is. There are 3 tables and they're happy to have you eat their but , they are more for waiting for take away.

Pretty decent Chinese take out around the area. Service was good and quick. Taste pretty good. Price is. Reasonable. Portion a bit small.

First time I have seen her in there since Covid and the fried food wasn't soggy. Glad she's back and this place is beginning to bouncing back. If next time is as good I'll bump this up to 5 stars for sure. Was worried for a while I would have to find somewhere new.

Ordered Chicken Lo mein and a side of pork fried rice. The chicken Lo mein was good the guy at the register was nice too. But the rice was not edible, very hard and tasted bad. Prices are reasonable though.

Normally I'm ok when I ordering fried food while I'm allergic to shellfish. But either they fried it together or haven't changed the oil. But I got an allergic reaction to their chicken wings. Never again will I eat there.

Asked for squid lomein with just garlic sauce. Said they won’t make it like that becaus they thought it would taste good, so they’ll make curry squid. I said I want it how I ordered it. They charge me $20 for how I wanted it and then delivered how he wanted to make it. Called back and told them they messed my order up, they called me a POS and told me I like garbage food. Horrible service, bad food, outrageous prices.

I think it is under new management. Chewy pieces of chicken and food quality is poor. It is the end of an era (have used this place for years/decades). Update: they are no longer using real chicken...they use imitation chicken

I wanted noodles so I ordered Chow Mein. I got stir fried vegetables. I called them to report this. They said chow mein means Chinese cabbage. Are you kidding me?! Chow mein literally means “stir fried noodles”. This was disappointing. Will never order from the again

Food is good but they a very rude and nasty. We they can’t understand you on the phone they respond rudely yelling and screaming. I asked for extra sauce instead of them giving it to me I had to call and ask why if I order from often is it an issue if you send sauce they said go order someone else.

Ordered for delivery. Delivery was incomplete. When I called to explain, the woman who I spoke to didn't believe me. She checked her camera and I got the rest of my order. The shrimp dumplings were not shrimp. They were gristly pork and inedible. I will never order from them again. Disgusting.

DO NOT GO! The first time I ordered from from them I watched the guy pick up my chicken wings with his bare a hands. Then when I said something they tried to pretend it didn’t happen, so I had them make a new one and waited right there. Then I did not return for months. I figured I would give them a second try. I ordered food and they messed up my order even though I ordered in person and if they had any confusion they could have just asked. I get home to realize it and call them to let me know and the aggression begins. They lied, refused to issue a refund or deliver my order as promised. So I tell them if I have to come, they will not be pleased. They then say I need to bring the food back in the original container, like you know you already set up your food to eat and you can’t get back in the container. Very petty and impossible to put in the container!!!! I am happy to give by their food but don’t like the pettiness. When I am the person that should be upset. I get there and more yelling. Then threaten to call the cops and I say what will you tell them that you messed up my food and you fee you should be upset. Do not go there they are nasty in their attitude and food preparation. As of now no one who is cooking as on a single glove. Also the always over charge on taxes and charge customers 10-20% taxes when it’s 8.5%. Take my advice and avoid this place.

Just ordered food from them and when we reviewed it the food was spoiled ALL OVER THE BAG!!! 😡😡. The delivery guy kept reaching in the bag touching the food apologizing for the mess. I proceeded to call the restaurant and the lady is giving me an attitude telling me they gave me too much food as if that's supposed to excuse the mess we got!!! What the hell is wrong with people. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. Highly suggest you don't either!!!!
