Great hole in the wall dive-bar with good food. I saw the high google rating, decided to give this place a try, and it was the right decision. They had a roasted chicken special that night which could stand up against any restaurant in the area. Big portions and quick service. My only complaint was that the music was exceptionally loud. It was getting late and they may have been switching over to the bar crowd, but otherwise I enjoyed the atmosphere.

Terrific experience at the Peekskill Pub! Cozy place with local flavor. Nothing fancy here, but nice friendly staff, excellent food and great service. Our server Hannah was very attentive. Food was outstanding. French onion burger was best burger I've had in a while. Everything arrived hot, generous portions. The others in my group were very pleased as well. Beer was wonderfully cold! We were in town for a show at the Paramount and I highly recommend you try this place if you're doing the same. Only 3 minutes away from the theater. Pricing is very reasonable.

The lore of great burgers is true! My burger was huge and tasty! Sometimes you can only achieve one when considering food portions and taste. The place is great for families to gather with young children. They can play pool, darts, and a curling type apparatus. Screens are everywhere to never miss a moment (even the bathroom). Truly one of a kind experience. Henry was our server. He was fabulous at conversation, loves his work, and a true Peekskill local who used to work at the Peekskill Brewery (ain’t there no more). Stop by during the week for drink and food specials (M-F). Stop by anytime for a $5 shot!

Philly cheesesteak is the most authentic I’ve had outside Philly. I’ve only been to this pub once but that will change. Great happy hour. Solid wings. I crushed the zeppole dessert without taking a picture

Peekskill Public Bar and Grill is a blast! The atmosphere is as lively as a Friday night and the staff is as friendly as your favorite neighbor. The menu is a foodie's dream – each dish is a flavor explosion. Whether you're a burger buff or a salad savant, they've got something for everyone. The drinks? Oh, they're like little potions of joy. If you're in Peekskill and not at this spot, you're missing out on a good time

Great experience, we had lots of laughs as we interacted with the service staff. Which was great as our group had a hard day. There was a mix-up at the bar and our order didn't come out right. But that's okay, they quickly corrected the error and we all laughed about it. The food was wonderful so I highly recommend it! We felt at home as we ate.

This is a really nice place, they have a bar and plenty of tables and chairs, dart boards, pool table and a few other games. Sweet servers and staff. The food is delicious and it is very inexpensive, it is sooo wonderful when you can eat like a queen/king and it doesn't break the bank (:

Food was yummy after a day of hiking! Our server was super kind and friendly. The vibes outside were great on the deck with gorgeous views. Maybe a little small towny for my queer NYC self. Everything was great, nothing happened, but could tell I was getting a few side eye looks ;)

Great service, good food prices. It’s not a 4.8 out of 5 stars as Google suggests. Atmosphere is a weird mix of Pink Floyd and “politically incorrect” signage which is a weird choice for any business.

I would not recommend ordering to go (which is my only experience). I called 15 minutes ahead, and had to wait another 5-10 minutes when I got to the restaurant. After another 10 minute drive to my destination, some of the fries were noticeably cold and mushy. The sandwich was decent, but also not as warm as I was anticipating. There were also no napkins or ketchup for the fries (the waitress on the phone did ask if I wanted a side of mayo) in the bag. The tone of the person taking my order over the phone was slightly rude, but to give them credit, they appeared to be the only person working when I arrived (behind the bar as well). I was overall disappointed, but am attributing that to getting takeout instead of eating at the bar.
