Excellent local restaurant with tasty food. This restaurant is not very large and sometimes gets crowded. That's evidence of good food and great service. Red snapper is cooked to order and comes out fresh and hot. My other favorite is the mixed seafood with rice and plantains. Prices are not bad and the portions are good. Takeout is also available. The ladies working there are always pleasant and willing to please. The parking lot is a little tight on busy days but there's also some street parking if needed. Check them out, you won't be disappointed.

This place is an absolutely amazing hidden gem! This is a hole-in-the-wall family restaurant that started back in 1998. All the food we ordered was very very good and authentic, and is probablyone of the best Ecuadorian food we've had. I would say, their portions are extremely generous and totally worth th price! You can definitely split one haha but suggest getting a bit of everything to share to get a taste. We ordered the Bandeja Paisa and it was out of this world delicious! The Mixed Seafood Ceviche has just the right about of sourness and is so good. This place is a must-try when you ever drive up to Upstate NY. Came here after our Hike at Anthony's Nose and it hit the spot in our stomach just right 👌

I don’t normally trust Spanish restaurants outside of NYC but since this spot was highly suggested by the team, it came out more than delicious. My plate had a lot of flavor and it’s very filling and I absolutely don’t have any complaints. This will be my go to spot when I’m in the Bear Mountain area for Spanish food.

Very good Spanish food, they have a full menu or hot food options. My favorite thing to eat from here is Mar y Tierra. Awesome little spot full of flavor!

La Cabana hits every single time! They have such flavorful, fresh authentic dishes made consistently each time. My favorite meal to order is the Mar y Tierra (land and sea) it comes with rice and beans, grilled chicken breast, grilled skirt steak, shrimps, fried tilapia, avocado, and of course I have to get the tostones, (not too many places up here have them) but you could choose between fries or plátano maduros as well. Lemon slices and hot sauce is given upon request. The hot food they have prepped also never disappoints. The camarones al ajillo (garlic shrimp) is a star at this place. Great service, and quick authentic flavorful food for a fraction of the price, you can’t go wrong!

The Camarones al Ajillo with tostones are my favorite and always on point. This visit my son accompanied me and got the Bandeja paisa. The food is fresh and delicious and the servers are nice and attentive.

My churrasco was actually really good and I didn’t finish the portion I was given. Only thing that bugged me was the discrepancies with the prices on the menu and what they charge you at the end. My dish was 17 something and on the bill was 19. Waitress chalked it up to taxes but I pointed out taxes was charged at the bottom. She shrugged and said idk. Feels like a money grab to people who aren’t really taking note. I’ll give them another try sometime I’m in the area again only cause the food was worth it. If the discrepancy persists I’ll take my business elsewhere.

I don’t forgive

The old short lady is rude and lack of manners, you dont wave your hands and chanting “hey hey hey” just to get attention from a customer that’s on the phone, wait and give them time, or address them properly. If you know how to open a restaurant you should also know how to properly communicate, it’s not about the language and it’s about the hostile attitude
