This was a small town special surprise. Great and creative dishes for pub fare. We will definitely go back... They give you a lot of food. Order one side of fries for two people. It could probably feed four!

Super great experience dinning here! Fried chicken sandwich was fire! Incredible texture and flavor! Got the truffle steak as well, grilled perfectly, very juicy! Definitely quality food straight from farm to the table! Patio was pet friendly, nice atmosphere with those little lights and art works! I see why it’s the local favorite! ❤️

If you are antique shopping or browsing galleries in downtown Peekskill, be sure to grab a bite at the Birdsall House. They have a pleasant outdoor beer garden, accessible through vintage iron gate. But food is the focal point at this gastro pub! Start with a portion of smoked brisket chili, but save room. A maple burger, 3 cheese grilled cheese, or the best corned beef Reuben I have ever tasted anywhere, will leave you satisfied yet parched, so wash it all down with a brew or cider. You won't be disappointed!

I assume they carefully selected 20 taps of craft beers including NY (City and State) breweries, and reasonably priced. Even you can have small portion of beer. That makes me try more beers though. And we had burgers and chicken sandwich (no photo) for brunch. Burger is juicy and chicken sandwich is crispy and spicy both are perfect for our appetite and delicious. Staffs are super kind and nice. I want have such a nice place in my neighborhood.

Great place to enjoy a good time with friends. Great atmosphere, and fantastic selection of beer. Great food, and good service. Always find friendly staff and good times in this small place. Have been supportive of this place for years, and will continue to do so. Looking forward to more meeting and good times here. Recommended!

Better than average brunch especially for a pub. Loved the pie shaped hashbrowns and the corn beef hash. Solid mimosas. Knowledgeable bar tender who called out the highlights in their beer selection. It's a little divey, but that's part of the charm. Need to stop in when the weather is warmer. Soldi option for Peekskill.

Alone that awesome cheese platter is a great reason to visit this place! Great food, lots of awesome beer on tap and a beer garden for hot summer nights. April 2023: They took the cheese platter off the menu. That's terrible. However, that place is still one of my favorite bars in Peekskill. Burgers great, a bunch (big bunch) of beer on tap and so nice waiters! June 2024: A cheese platter is back 🎉 Not as good as the old one, bit hey: Cheese. Sad that the onion jam is missing.

A co worker wanted to come here so we gave it a shot. Not really my type atmosphere and vibes but it was very chilled. I was born in Philly raised in NYC. I didn’t get to snap of a photo of it but I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak. It didn’t smack as much as I’d like it too but the appetizers gave a good crown to earn 4 stars on top of the drinks that were hitting swell. Don’t let my review justify you coming here.

Pleasant professional staff, interesting decor inside, nice outside dining area. They have a quite good beer and cider selection, and the menu appeared to offer a good variety of farm to table fair. I enjoyed my food and the service. I recommend this spot.

We really liked the service, the design - we’re partial, loved the art but the atmosphere was too depressing. No edge except the canoe. Prices are alright. Burger was surprisingly good, fries too. Mac N Cheese… borderline disrespectful. The cheese was soup, no burner was used, feels like cheap pasta was microwaved. No lie and not for drama - it also had a hair inside. 🤦‍♀️

Wings were terrific. Burgers were fine. Recommended Ruben was so fatty, thick cut and tasteless it was sent back. Took forever to get my replacement burger and no consideration for the inconvenience on the bill. Server was nice. Drink prices surprisingly reasonable for top shelf cocktails.

What a joke of a place. Went in on Tuesday evening. Nobody was in the place. Should have realized that was a big red flag. Asked the bartender what to order food wise, she recommended the brisket grilled cheese and it might be one of the most disgusting things I've ever experienced in my 38 years on this planet. The brisket was beyond inedible, I wouldn't feed it to a dog or a raccoon. It was like chewing on rubber bands. I asked for a burger, cooked medium instead and they obliged but the burger was raw, not rare, raw. So I ate a couple fries and just took the L, but to make matters far worse, I went to the bathroom and overheard the cook joking and laughing that he sabotaged my burger on purpose because how dare I send food back. No wonder this place is going out of business.

Ordered a truffle burger medium-well, but it was served raw and undercooked. Unacceptable.
