Beautiful dining experience in Perledo, above Lake Como (but no views of the lake). Local cuisine on offer and a daily changing menu presented on a chalkboard. We shared the local cheeses and jams for starter (which were amazing) followed by the lasagne and parmigiana. Reasonably priced for delicious food. Restaurant attracts locals and visitors. Friendly service. Highly recommended.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. The lasagna was one of the greatest meals of my life. We also had the fried cheese balls and the carrot cake, which were also good, as was the white wine. This is a very charming local and family owned restaurant that should be first on your list if you are staying in Perledo.

We reserved a table for Sunday Lunch which would not have been necessary for lunchtime. We did a three course meal with wine and everything tasted amazing. The vegetable lasagna was not what we expected but tasted really good. It is so much better than anything you can eat in Varenna and is definitely worth a hike up in the mountain

Highly recommend! The food was amazing (the best we’ve had in Italy so far), well priced, and the staff were really friendly (and happy to speak English). We enjoyed some nice Rosé which came recommended. We drove from Varenna, and it was definitely worth the drive.

Definitely a must try If you are in the area of Perledo where you will be welcomed by a warm authentic atmosphere with passionate owners ready to share with you their joy of creating delicious dishes. We had the risotto and seafood penne and both provided us with flavours that were true to the dish with slight twists and personal touches to make you have another spoon more. We were also introduced to the house wine which we enjoyed so much the first night we came back and ordered another litre, so we could take home to enjoy it after dinner. Signs and menus were very clear, on a blackboard with italian and English menus on each side respectively. Felt very safe and knew it was a special place for locals as well as your international travellers. Thoroughly enjoyed!

Nice little restaurant close to our lodging. The three of us were easily seated despite no booking and the service was satisfactory. The food arrived and was really good and quickly consumed. It felt like a genuine, local dining experience, so if that's what you're looking for, I recommend it.

Please check your bill! We had two lasagnas, 1 salad, some bread, water and a bottle of wine. When I ordered the wine I did not ask how much was it, so when the total bill came to 122 euro I was bit surprised, and decided to question that. Turned out the bill should have been around 69 euro (the wine was 27). I was refunded the 53 euro difference in cash without fuss. The main reason I got suspicious was that most of the other guest were checking their bills with not happy look on their faces, so I guess I was not the only one being overcharged. The food was tasty but more of a starter size really (luckily we had some cheese left at home ;) )

This place was recommended to us by a couple people, but it was just fine. Pretty underwhelming over all. The ambiance is like a cafeteria and the food is not very flavorful. We ordered the fried cheese balls and what we thought was a deer ravioli but turned out to be more of an empanada (probably our misunderstanding of Italian). Anyway, probably would not come back.
