Un ristorante con una splendida vista sul lago e sulla punta dí Bellagio. Servizio rapido in un ambiente da crotto ma i piatti sono ben curati dalla cucina; le paste sono ben al dente e i condimenti deliziosi; anche il pesce del lago merita di essere provato. Strada stretta per arrivare ma si trova posto da qualche parte.

Locale rustico e accogliente. Posizione con vista lago su Varenna incantevole e romantica Titolare,non che Chef, molto originale e simpatico. Abbiamo mangiato diversi piatti a base di pesce,soprattutto di lago. Piatti deliziosi e curati nel dettaglio. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente👍😀

Locale piccolo ma molto carino, con un panorama pazzesco. Al tramonto è bellissimo vedere mutare il colore del lago. Il cibo è buono e la quantità è ideale, il servizio è molto ben gestito e la disponibilità nelle richieste è sempre alta e sorridente.

Che bella scoperta! Un locale tipico, a conduzione familiare, che rappresenta al meglio la cucina e l’ospitalità del posto. Non è un ristorante di lusso, ma è ben curato, accogliente e con un’atmosfera calda e autentica che ti fa sentire subito a casa. Il personale è gentile : fin da subito ti trattano come se fossi un cliente abituale, con sorrisi sinceri e una disponibilità rara. Il menù viene spiegato con cura e passione, e ogni piatto è una piacevole scoperta. Abbiamo iniziato con antipasti davvero gustosi, per poi proseguire con una pasta al ragù di salsiccia ricca e saporita, e un brasato tenero e ben cucinato. Il tiramisù, per concludere, è stato la ciliegina sulla torta: cremoso, equilibrato, fatto come si deve. Un’esperienza che non mi aspettavo: cucina ottima, ambiente familiare e accogliente, personale che ti fa sentire importante. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca la qualità senza formalità, e un posto dove si mangia bene e si sta ancora meglio.

Siamo passati quasi per caso un questo bel ristorantino vista lago. A conduzione familiare con atmosfera tranquilla e rilassata, la qualità e la presentazione del cibo mi ha veramente sorpreso: tagliatelle con farina di castagne e porcini presentate con un'ottima crema agli agrumi e zafferano. Pappardelle al ragù molto saporite, arrosticini di pecora alla brace spettacolari e frittelle al formaggio leggere e gustose. Prezzi leggermente sopra la media ma la qualità merita sicuramente

Trovato per caso, facendo una gita lungolago a Varenna, ho visto il cartellino "Crotto di Pino", la stradina in salita e ...la curiosità uccise il gatto... Si arriva a piedi oppure in auto, ha un piccolo spazio adibito a parcheggio a pochi metri dal posto. Il locale è semplice, rustico, con ampie vetrate vista lago e piccolo terrazzino all'aperto che in estate dovrebbe essere fantastico, il tutto gestito da marito e moglie, molto simpatici e la mascotta a quattro zampe chiamata Ombra. Posto pulito, accogliente e insignito del titolo "Struttura Animal Friendly". Come dicevo all'inizio, l'ho trovato per caso, non ho cercato informazioni su internet, quindi la segnaletica sul posto con il semplice nome Crotto di Pino mi ha un po' ingannata, non è un crotto né una trattoria, realmente è un Ristorante, soprattutto per le pietanze elaborate, servite con stile e con prezzi da ristorante, infatti arrivando al locale si legge "Ristorante Crotto di Pino". Non è lo stesso un crotto che un ristorante, però dopo la salita a piedi non si torna indietro e non mi sono pentita, il servizio e la cucina sono ottimi. Il Capriccio di Bosco tartufato (sono tagliatelle di castagne al sugo di tartufo) buono da leccarsi le dita e lo stufato di cervo ai porcini con contorno di polenta erano veramente stupendi. Per un pasto completo si spende minimo 45€ a persona. Consigliatissimo!

Trovato per caso arroccato sopra fiumelatte, un crotto gestito da 2 professionisti, che pur di servire bene i clienti presenti rifiutano di superare la capienza dell’esercizio, impeccabili sia nel servizio con spontaneità, semplicità e precisione, sia nella preparazione delle pietanze curate e cucinate con sapienza e maestria; il tutto incorniciato da delle finestre con una vista lago stupenda. Le mie lumache sono al secondo posto, nella mia personale classifica, di poco dietro a quelle parigine. Tutto perfetto, sinceri complimenti e con l’ augurio di continuare per tanto tempo così

Amazing, I went there with my boyfriend and had the most unforgettable experience ever the meals were perfect also you can feel the sense of excitement with each meal you get, the waitress was lovely so was the place (I will add photos of the meals). We had the fish of the day pasta and dessert which we had to order more of because it was too delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant entirely, even though it is a bit of a longer walk from Varenna it is definitely worth it. We are both very pleased with the location we picked, we never had this much joy with meals we got. Also may I add that the wine was extremely good. Highly recommended!!!

We were recommended this restaurant by our local landlord and we're happy to find it still serving at 9pm. We were very pleasantly surprised by the gorgeously lit terrace overlooking the lake. The menu offered a selection of authentic dishes with ingredients locally sourced. The Lake fish was deliciously delicate and fresh. The venison stew packed a flavour punch and the meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The Tagliatelle Ragu was a great portion and was nicely seasoned. We enjoyed the house white wine and the service was accommodating and allowed us to relax on the terrace til late.

Crotto di Pino sits a short car journey away from Varenna town centre, but is absolutely worth the journey. If we had to choose a single place to eat on our holiday (19-23 June), we would have been happy to go there every day. The food is authentic and locally sourced, and we loved everything we ordered. The menu is clearly carefully selected (with 'special' dishes that change), and it showed (see Tiramisu in photo). The view was gorgeous, where you can see the lake and mountains, with very natural green surroundings. There was a cosy and homely atmosphere inside the restaurant. The owners were absolutely lovely! They accommodated us until closing as we waited for our taxi, and offered us the best limoncello we have ever had. We will definitely return if we ever come back to Lake Como!

Highly recommended! We went to this place for lunch - party of three & a dog. Although they were not serving lunch yet, they welcomed us and we enjoyed the breathtaking views and some drinks. We ordered the chocolate pasta, the truffle pasta, and the fresh fish from the daily menu. Everything was absolutely delicious, perfect portions that left just the right amount of space for dessert! The tiramisu and lemon cake are simply divine! The staff is extremely friendly and were very welcoming to our dog as well. She got lots of treats & pets as they have a dog themselves and she felt right at home that she even fell asleep! There was a family with small children next to us, who also thoroughly enjoyed themselves and took the opportunity to get to know us & our dog! All in all, a perfect afternoon spent here and would 100% return!

Such a great experience. The food is delicious, vibes is more than fantastic. Definitely recommended. I ordered beef medium rare and it was perfection. We also order a vegan dish (no option in the menu), and the chef gladly make special dish using fresh ingredients from his farm. There dog makes the experience more joyful.

The best restaurant I have ever visited! The view is just amazing. The food is also really good. We are a fish from the lake and risotto from the daily menu. The white wine is very good and the most surprising is that the prices are reaallly very normal for that what you get. And the waitress who is maybe the owner is very nice. Just 10 of 10. Slightly hidden authentic Italian restaurant. We came here with a big group of people and loved the view onto Lake Como. We walked up from lake level, so I cannot speak for the parking situation. The personal is friendly and attending guests quickly and kindly. We had the meat plate and some fried cheese, it was just delicious. I can also recommend the risotto with a local cheese as well as the pasta with chestnut and truffle. The creme brûlée is nothing special however the lemon rosemary cake and chocolate cakes are super yummy, even if slightly on the dry side. We went here twice in a 3 day stay, guess that says it all.

Buona cucina tipica del territorio e personale gentilissimo che ci ha facilitato il pranzo con il nostro bimbo di due anni. Bellissima la vista sul lago dalla terrazza. Peccato sia in posto non proprio facilmente raggiungibile, poiché la strada è piuttosto stretta. I prezzi sono più alti della media, secondo quanto solitamente spendiamo in locali di questo tipo.

Servizio e Location bene, in cucina piatti da rivedere, più gusto e meno spezie, l'antipasto di salumi è arrivato innondato di olio delle cipolline (1) e carciofini (1) posti sopra i salumi, per 18 euro avrei voluto qualcosa di meglio, bottiglia d'acqua a 4 euro a litro non è sicuramente regalata. Peccato basterebbe poco per essere un buon posto per tornarci

Prima volta che faccio una recensione dal tanto che ci sono rimasta male, non chiamate che fate prima: ho chiamato per prenotare chiedendo un tavolo per due vista lago, per sentirmi rispondere con una presa in giro ed in modo arrogante che davanti ai tavoli vengono messi degli “adesivi” in modo che tutti possano vedere il lago. Insomma, scema io che non essendoci mai andata non sapevo che TUTTI i tavoli avessero una vista lago e dunque mi son permessa di chiederla (sottolineo gentilmente). Prenotazione subito cancellata. Nessuno è mai stato così maleducato..

Ma Per rispetto della persona che ci ha portato purtroppo Siamo rimasti .. 0 pulizia del locale e posizione. 0 l'ordine e abbigliamento dei proprietari. Prezzi eccessivi su tutto il menù partendo dal Coperto di 3 € .. Alla fine pelo contro pelo solo per una piccolissima semplice torta di frutta alta 1 cm alta 60 € 😱. Mai più in quel ristorante ✖ ..
