Good food, good salsa, good service, excellent value compared to other fast food outlets. We love their rewards and senior discount programs. Our only complaint is a similar complaint we have with other fast food outlets; way too much non recyclable waste.

Remember when everyone was searching for a place to eat during the fires? I called ahead before driving there from Santa Rosa because it was near closing hours. Whoever answered the phone offered to stay past closing and have a hot meal waiting for my family. I didn't take them up on their kind offer but I did drive out there the next day. The food was very good. Most importantly, want to thank them for their graciousness during an especially tough time.

When I walked in I could smell the chicken being grilled and it made my mouth water. The cashier was great and took my order perfectly. Once I got my food it was wrapped in aluminum and reminded me of Mexico when I'd get freshly made food. My first bite was amazing. The chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy with a nice Chewy texture. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves chicken or authentic Mexican cuisine.

I ordered the chipotle avocado chicken burrito. It tasted good. The service was fast and friendly. I'm glad they tore down Burger King and put El Pollo Loco in it's place. Seems like a healthier option.

Some of the staff either don't listen and/or there's a language barrier two different issues very frustrating. I've had to repeat my order multiple times at the intercom on multiple occasions mainly with the older staff. The service otherwise is ok although sometimes I feel like others get service before me even when I go inside and they've just shown up after me again witnessed on multiple occasions. There orders were not called in ahead of time they ordered inside while I was present and received way more food than I had ordered. For a quick bite this place satisfied my hunger.

If I did I would have ordered it when I was still ordering. Is there no concept of finished with El Pollo Loco? Finished. No I don't want anything else other than what I ordered. Repeating the same thing as a way to try and increase the amount of money made per order in the drive thru is just annoying. Every. Single. Time. No I don't want any chips and guacamole. No thank you I said that was all when you asked me if there is anything else. No means no. NO. Does that complete your order sir? Yes it does thank you. Would you like to add chips and guacamole? I went up to the register and found a mute manager who acted like the weight of the world was on him. I had to order, he did not say a word. This was my first visit to El Pollo Loco and had to find out what was included in the order. When I asked him about sides, at first he did not respond at all. Then I asked him again, and he said, "They're right in front of you;" I suppose referring to a laminated card. There was no chicken ready and the kids were talking about school behind the counter. It took 12 minutes and I was the only customer there. And what is the pager thing? The manager pushed some device across the counter without telling me what it was. It was twenty questions for everything. Come on, guys, get rid of the manager with the attitude, and get someone in there who will cook.

Very disappointed, my husband and I have been to this location a few times and always comment on the great service and how happy the employees are. Not Wednesday evening I arrived ordering take out. Waited in line for 15mins, when my cashier asked the other gentleman putting orders together if there was enough leg and thigh for a 12 pc order the guy looked at the chicken then looked at the cashier and shrugged his shoulders (i don't know). I was pretty shocked. Well then waiting another 30mins for our meal I got very frustrated people who ordered 2 pc and salads after me were eating and leaving before I had received my food.. I asked the manager on shift for a refund he asked what I ordered I told him then he asks what do I owe you. I said I could not tell you the cashier did not give me a receipt. He then opens the drawer and hands me $25 . Keep in mind the meal it's sell is $25... I was just very frustrated and wanted to get out of there.
