The kid working was so accommodating and very nice. Their ice cream was epic. A nice place to visit. We walked from the smart train stop, about a 20 min walk.

Stopped by here last Wednesday doing the Cheese Trail. A nice, relaxing visit with good coffee. Michelle is a great lady and good to her customers (and the many employees who popped over for morning coffee). She offered us cheeses to taste, and some of their wonderful ice creams. We bought Parmesan, Jalapeño Jack, Smoked Gouda, 2yr-old white cheddar, and Petaluma Gold mozzarella. We had experience with Spring Hill cheeses from our local Farmer's market, so knew what to expect. Next time we'll bring a styrofoam cooler with dry ice, pick up some of the ice creams and bring them home.

This ice cream was the best I have ever tasted. It was light, fluffy, and creamy. We will definitely be coming back again, even though we will have to drive 2 hours to get there! 😋🍦👌👍

Jesus their ice cream is good. Tried toffee crunch, cookie's and cream, lavender, and the awesome peppermint. Super creamy texture. Like, whoa, creamy. No pictures because I ate all of it.

Great local creamery with totally fair prices and delicious ice cream (prepacked or scooped). Plus, there's a shop inside with tons of cheeses, snacks, jams, and all kinds of yummy picnic fare if you're on the way out to the countryside. Love that you can sit outside in the sunshine and enjoy your cone or coffee. Excellent service, quality, and pricing!

This place has everything for an old dairyman to sit back and reminisce. The cheese there has always been top quality and I won't pick up my cheese anywhere else. The ice cream is wonderful and my friend love to pick up the cheese curds there. The family is local and maintains close and positive relationships to their local dairyman.

Remarkable flavor. I tried their asiago and bought the 2 year aged white cheddar. The asiago was extremely delicious but a little out of my price range. I am happy with the block of cheddar, just the same.

We stopped in and ordered a $4.00 cup of ice cream. My partner had praline and I had two flavors which were moose tracks and cherry chip. They were very tasty. We definitely will be back to enjoy some more.

I'm rooting for this place! They have some new leadership behind the counter and she seems eager to reinvent the experience once she gets her ideas rolled out, which is an exciting prospect. The service we've received, dropping in on a semi-weekly basis for some ice cream, has been great. Outdoor seating is sunny in the afternoons, and there is a small greenbelt with large leafy trees right across the street. It's a pleasant and mellow place with a seasoned, down to earth charm (the business is more than 100 years old). We plan to be regulars this summer.

Good food and ice cream, a little slow on service. The kids loved the grilled cheese sandwich and ice cream cones, and we enjoyed the tri-tip BBQ sandwich.

Working hours on Google maps are completely off, on Sunday they were marked as closed, but when we drove by, noticed the Open sign. They sell local cheese and ice cream

The ice cream was fantastic! I had the lavender, which was the perfect way to end a warm day without feeling too heavy. The missing star is for the cheese samples. I was looking forward to trying some of their cheeses, but the samples looked melty and sweaty, like they had been out all day. It was off-putting, to say the least. Perhaps if they found a way to keep the samples in the refrigerated section it would alleviate the problem and could even lead to more sales!

So many choices! We ended up having deli sandwiches which were good. Also bought some local cheese that I could take home after my trip. Really wanted ice cream but had no more room for it though.

It's awesome that Petaluma has its own local cheese factory. I spend most of my time in France, though, and it's difficult to chime back to American produced cheese. The shop is a bit spartan.

Gross ice cream. Sorry. Hate to review bad things and maybe this was a fluke but my bf and I shared the rocky road and I had one bite, he had 3, we couldn't eat any more. It was so bad

I have been coming here my whole life and so has my dad and it's still a beautiful place away from people but they are putting so many rules and changing there hours and just changing what the place was about it's still a beautiful place they are kinda just ruining it

Apparently, they're no longer processing milk. No milk, no ice cream. The ice cream they're serving is bought from several places. So disappointing.

The coconut flavor was not good enough and i expected the chocolate flavor to be little rich but was dull and too sweet. Did’t like it much..

We were visiting from out of town and looking forward to trying this place based on the good reviews. The woman at the cash register was very rude for no apparent reason.

Don’t even try going here. Came all the way from San Jose just to find out that they were closed on a Saturday at 2:30? Doors were locked and the employee was just looking from the inside, not even acknowledging us. Left and headed down to Angela’s WHICH WAS OPEN and very kind to us. Y’all lost a customer and I hope you lose more 🤞

Today was a disappointing experience. We had gone out of our way to stop here to taste the cheese and grab some food. We asked inside about if they had any cheese tasting. The person working the front had no idea and sent us next door. Down at the next location the person at the desk was friendly but said the cheese tasting was back at the creamery. Though it was possible if the manager wasn't there they may not be tasting they really were not sure what they were doing back at the shop.

I have been to this place twice in the last year. Once in August and again last weekend. In August, they were closed right before 3pm, even though they supposedly close a little later. In January, I went around 12:30pm and they were closed. No sign, nothing on the outside. The hours of operation did not reflect they would be closed at that time. So, to sum it up. I cannot recommend based on the fact that I can never get in. They should at least put a sign on their door.

Kids who work counter couldn’t care less and didn’t even know how to give change and complained about being tired even though they didn’t look like they’ve work a hard day.
