The service is attentive, personal, and very quick, and the entire space feels clean and comfortable. While the atmosphere is cozy and homey, the easy parking and the fantastic food—which perfectly met my high expectations and nostalgia for the Waco location—make this restaurant an absolute winner.

Arcelia and Zaid were awesome!!! It was my wife and I’s first time there. We ordered the lasagna and Lobster Ravioli. It was very good, the garlic bread was good as well and my wife received a treat with a cheesecake to go. Overall the hospitality was great, we definitely be back.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant and the food was amazing. We ordered the Lobster Ravioli and Lasagna and it was 10/10. Would highly recommend this spot to anyone. Arcelia was our waitress and she was super sweet and prompt with checking on us. Zaid was the owner and came over to check to see how our food was and even blessed us with cheesecake on the way out.

The environment had very nice music and decor that is nice to just sit down and relax, the food was excellent and really good. I got the Philly cheese steak. I definitely will come back and recommend it.

We reserved an area for 20 people, the week before. We do this once a month @ different restaurants. We choose to go in the middle of the afternoons, usually @ 3:00 pm. Perfect quiet time! We were so pleased with everything! Our server was Christiana and she was excellent! The food was delicious! And oh, the garlic rolls, they are beyond tasty!!!! We will for sure be coming back!!! Thank you Baris for the wonderful service & food!

Our first time at Baris Pizza & Pasta. Absolutely DELICIOUS!! Krysta was such a great host and made great recommendations. We ordered the garlic bread with tomato and cheese to start off, then ordered their Thursday lunch special Chicken Parmigiana with a house salad. The homemade tomato dressing was “Chef’s Kiss” you won’t be disappointed. My husband ordered chicken fettuccine Alfredo. Our food order came with more bread rolls. Goodness those were huge, we couldn’t finish the delicious food. Of course we had to order chocolate cake and a strawberry cheesecake slices to take home. BTW they have great pizza specials. Thank you for such a great 1st experience. We will come by more often.

Wandered in after a full day for chill vibes. I got the chicken Murphy spaghetti and it came with the biggest roll I've ever seen. Tesla was my waitress and did a fantastic job. I will be back, with friends!

We went to Baris Friday after work, it was our first time here even though we lived in Pville for a while now. We have been missing out on this deliciousness let me tell you! We had a large salad and the famous garlic roll along with this medium pepperoni pizza which is big for a medium and loved it all! They also have beer and wine as well as lunch specials, even on the weekend. We’ll be back to try some of the plates too, thanks Baris, great staff!

I went a few weeks back and entering the place, I couldn’t figure out what the theme was. It had bud light, other alcoholic beverage signage up, TV, and interesting art that was cool too. The amount of kids that came in and families was great, but didn’t give a super family oriented feeling to the place. The service was absolutely stellar. Waitress was amazing and great smile and warm personality. Food was interesting. The New York style pizza had a very chew crust and heavy on the grease. The pasta did taste good with the chicken. The Alfredo sauce did not taste anything special and tasted too much of liquid and not enough thickness in it. The garlic bread with cheese was the best part, I enjoyed the just warm enough to have it melt and was delicious. Overall really enjoyed the service the most but everything else just seemed less than expected.

Really torn about this review, wavered between 3 and 4 stars. I've eaten lunch before and it was sooo good, would've given it 5 stars on that visit. Raved about it to my husband so we returned for dinner tonight. The calamari wasn't bad but the calamari at Olive Garden is better. The rolls were overcooked. My husband's chicken cacciatore was not great, the chicken was bland and it was served with way too much sauce and not enough noodles but the bell peppers and mushrooms were good 2/5 stars. My chicken parm was excellent! The cheese and sauce were perfect and the spaghetti was so good. 5/5 stars 🌟

Okay food, okay service. Overall it was a new place to try and was simple. The service was a little chaotic. We were sat at an unprepared table. Our waiter would leave for a while. Baris pasta & pizza is such a nasty scam business who does not stand by their word and food. I ordered from them online and got home and there was no protein in my pasta and there was supposed to be chicken, then I had penne pasta and I chose the substitution for rigatoni. I called and informed them because I wanted my order remade, the woman on the phone confirmed the order I had made and then put her husband on the phone, he then confirms as well and puts me on hold to speak with the kitchen. He came back and confirmed and then put me on another brief hold, comes back and tells me that. I need to reach out to the ordering agency which is weird because they did nothing wrong, Baris made the food. I informed him that I was not looking for a refund, just an order remake and he says well I was told you need to reach out to them. I reached out to splice the next morning and they spoke with the kitchen after putting me on a brief hold and confirmed that. I did not receive my chicken in my pasta and he tells me after a manager gets in he would reach out to me by email. I just received the email and called him back and Baris told them that there was nothing wrong with my order, even as he is reading it back to me telling me what I requested so they would not be refunding me; this escalation is crazy because all they had to do was remake my pasta, now yes I do want my refund. Crazy to think I would not take a picture of my pasta that was made incorrectly, and if you don't know the difference between penne and rigatoni you should not be working at an Italian restaurant. Splice has escalated this issue to a manager and pictures have been sent over. Been a while since I have experienced this type of customer service, this is ludacris and I used to eat at this place all the time years ago; it has really went down hill. No wonder there were barely any customers, would have been best to hold on to the ones you had.

The atmosphere was off definitely could tell a short staffed and looks like the son of the establishment wasn’t too happy about that. If I could take back my $20 I would. I got a calzone, and I was honestly kinda hyped for it because I have previously worked at an establishment that honestly almost was the same type of vibe and also food. And my old job we also served calzones, and I was really excited for it, but when I received it, I realize it was very smashed and also mostly filled with a interesting That was more filled with that ingredient than the actual meat and pepperoni. Definitely won’t be back.

We hadn't been to Bari's in a few years but went tonight. The food and service were good but the issue came with the bill. The menu prices are not the same as what was charged through the register. We noticed the two kids meals were charged as adult meals and they were adjusted but when we notice the appetizer was charged at $13.45 instead of the $8.99 menu price, the manager was very rude and said they hadn't had time to make updates and refused to issue a refund. He said he couldn't. It's kind of crazy to lose a customer over a less than $4 refund. He went on to say that we had not complained about the food or service and if we wanted to save money we could have paid in cash because the system adds a 4% credit charge (which also wasn't disclosed). We were in no way trying to save money but to point out that it's wrong to charge different prices than are listed on the menu. We requested a copy of the receipt but were not giving one and since the manager was getting escalated we chose to leave without it. Buyer beware because this behavior is illegal and overall poor customer service. In Texas, for any extra charges to be legally enforceable, they must be communicated to the customer before the order is placed. The prevailing legal standard is that these disclosures must be “clear and conspicuous.” This means any surcharges or automatic gratuity policies cannot be hidden in fine print or revealed only when the final bill is presented. Instead, they should be printed directly on the menu or displayed prominently on signage. A restaurant that fails to provide this advance notice for an added fee may be in violation of consumer protection statutes, as customers have a right to know the potential cost before purchasing. If we had a copy of the receipt we would report to consumer protection, mostly because of the aggressive manner with which this was all addressed by the manager (son).
