Amazing food and service! They were so friendly and attentive. This place is also very reasonably priced and I highly recommend it! It’s small so not sure how it gets during peak hours but it’s worth it for sure.

OMG, found this place driving through the HEB shopping center at Pecan and and 685. Best sushi we have had in a long time. Highly recommend the green dragon and the double take. The sashimi (Otoro) melted in my mouth.

Iron Fish is hands down our favorite sushi spot! My husband and I come here for date night almost every week, and it never disappoints. The sushi is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We especially love pairing our meal with a bottle of plum wine—it’s become our little tradition. The staff is welcoming, the service is top-notch, and the vibe is just right for a cozy night out. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality sushi and a consistently great experience! PS. The wings and edamame are amazing!

i don’t really have high expectations for sushi in texas, but this place really surprised me! Their fish was amazingly fresh and there wasn’t 1 flaw from all the rolls we ordered. The service was welcoming and the atmosphere of the place was cozy and rustic. I’d say this is the best sushi I've tried in austin so far.

A bit on the pricey side for comparable sushi, but they are on top of service and their flavor profiles are great. E always do our staple rolls, spicy tuna and avocado roll. Both of these were great. The sushi rice is spot on and those who know sushi, know it’s all about the rice. We also ordered two speciality rolls. They were both delicious. I asked the server for the three most ordered rolls. He quickly guided me to them and pointed out the differences. He was great. Overall great service and food.

My FAVORITE sushi place right now near Austin. You must get their love boat. All the fishes on it was so fresh and big slices too especially if you love nigiri. I’m a huge fan. My friends went afterward and love it too. I also tried their eel roll, spider, and firecracker.

Great lil sushi place. Super fresh fish, well constructed rolls, great sizes, well balanced proportions of sauce to fish to rice - a lot of places either have too much rice, not enough sauce, but this place is just right. (I'm quite picky about that). We've tried the top 3 rolls, as well as a rainbow roll & a playboy roll, & the gyozo & they've all been spot on. Also, their wasabi & ginger are fresh too, not like the old paste-y wasabi you get a lot these days. Would definitely recommend. We've been a few times now for date nights, on different days during the week, both daytime & night time & it's always been a good consistent quality. No complaints here. Will definitely be going back often. (Only got a photo on the 1st visit, but it always looks just as good in our experience.)

First time eating there. I was told that the food was good. Ordered the Shrimp Yakisoba and added chicken. It was a very small serving and the chicken were lil itty bitty squares and the smallest shrimp you could find. I asked the guy before ordering was it thick noodles or thin. He said they were thick but they were actually thin vermicelli noodles. Disappointed.

They don’t list the sauce that is on the sushi on the menu. We had two rolls come out with this sweet mayo sauce that is disgusting and all over the rolls. Our third roll had another sweet sauce that wasn’t as bad, but still wasn’t listed on the menu. I asked the waitress why the sauce is not listed on the menu and she said “ we only list the ingredients”. I said “the sauce is an ingredient” and she said “it is a sauce” and was kind of smiling like I was dumb for not knowing that. Our table had 6 rolls total and none of them had wasabi or ginger. The service was poor. I had to ask to refill my water multiple times and they just refilled it with room temp water with no ice. We spent almost $200 and they were rushing us out the door for a reservation. The quality of the sushi was fine, but everything else made it a very poor experience. Who doesn’t list the sauce on the menu? Who doesn’t think the sauces is apart of the ingredients especially when it over powers the entire roll? Never going back.

I don't understand how this place has such a good rating and reviews. I've spent less at much better, higher quality sushi restaurants. They literally drown every roll in sauces, and they don't even mention them on the menu so you don't know until you get the rolls. And then they give you attitude and roll their eyes if you ask them to change anything because you didn't know. Like how am I supposed to know the ingredients in YOUR ROLLS without you telling me or listing them on your menu? Don't order anything from the kitchen, unless you like eating noodles that taste and feel like they've been sitting in a colander for an hour before you even walked in. Also, the whole point of ordering appetizers is so you can munch on them BEFORE YOUR MEAL. If I wanted them as dessert, I would've waited to order them. Ugh never, ever again.
