Great size dishes. Delicious food. Can't wait to come back for the dessert.
Our favorite place here by far. Great food and cocktails. Oh and the view is 👌
Very friendly staff. Good food & good location. Tad bit pricy but well worth it.
A really awesome place to just relax and have a cold drink with great food. Plus the employees are the best.
Friendly, personal attention and fun atmosphere! Great view from the bar area!
Gourmet food and amazing service. Thank you very much, our family had such an amazing experience.
Fantastic food, drinks, and music. I’ll be back!
Best food in area
Great food and good drinks in a very friendly atmosphere.
A very pleasant restaurant set in an idyllic mountain valley with gorgeous views. I had the fish and chips which was excellent. Service was cheerful and prompt. We really enjoyed ourselves. Recommended!
Great place. Food was good and beers were great.
I always stop here when I come up the mountain. Awesome view, awesome staff. Very good food.
Everyone was so warm and welcoming. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious! And the view from the deck was beautiful to say the least!
Great atmosphere and view. The staff really caters to you. The portobello mushroom was awesome . This is a place not to be missed.
The food was amazing!! Wonderful atmosphere and the staff was so nice & friendly! We had a great time!! Lindsey was the BEST!
The food and service were great! The owners took so much care to ensure our experience was the best it could be! We'll definitely be back!
Best place to eat in PMC imo. Good selection. Fair prices. Food is great. Service is impeccable...super friendly folks that want you to leave happy!!
Loved having lunch there , South African flat bread was very different and nice
Superb food and cocktails with picturesque mountain views. A unique and special place.
The Perch is the most magical place here in the mountain. Not only are the owners and staff absolutely the kindest, most generous group of folks we've ever met, the food is delicious. They serve HUGE portions and never once were we disappointed. Creative, flavorful, and YUMMY!! The owners usually come out and greet everyone, Angie will ask if the food is ok, and Luce in charge of drinks. The wait staff is full of sweet people who really care and want to get everything right and make your experience special. Please go here, you will not be disappointed and you will probably make new friends :) -Betsy and Ryan
Loved the atmosphere of this place. Drinks were great! Ordered the cheeseburger and onion rings, both delicious. My boyfriend had the fish & fried okra- the okra was delicious! The best touch was the fresh ranch dressing. We will definitely go back next time we’re in the area.
Stopped in randomly on a Sunday afternoon, sat at the bar and ended up having a great time. The burger and cocktails exceeded expectations. We ended up talking to both the bartender and owner for over an hour. Very friendly staff, great to see an emphasis on employing younger employees willing to learn. Customers seemed to be a mix of locals and those passing through. Everyone appeared to be having a good time. Sad we missed their live music Saturday. Will definitely return!
This place is so joyful and cozy and welcoming and I have never met a more passionate, joyful and lovely staff at any other restaurant. We came up to Pine Mountain Club for a long cabin weekend away and brought a great deal of groceries and a menu to cook ourselves. The first night we decided we were too tired to cook dinner and were happy to see The Perch was still open at 8pm in this very sleepy little mountain village. We went in the first days of April, which was still winter in the mountains, and the atmosphere inside was warm and welcoming, and very Hygge. Lindsay was our lovely waitress and we ordered the Bavarian Pretzel and Clam Chowder with Tater Tots. The pretzel was ... out of this world amazing! The chowder was also amazing. The owners Angie and Luce came around and greeted us warmly every night. They have so much passion and love for their restaurant and it shows. They've created a menu that is really super unique but also has a lot of comfort food. This place was so amazing we ended up abandoning our own menu for the weekend and eating here every single night. The fish and chips were the best we've ever had. The stuffed portabello mushrooms were also amazing. We also loved the chicken wings. We ate the huge bavarian pretzel every single night. The beer cheese dip just ...ugh. Can't even bring words to how good it is. I will say I was not impressed with the chicken tenders, but that's chicken tenders for you. Everything else is so good I didn't even care. Over the course of the weekend we also were served by Faith and Sophia. They were all so stoked to have us and everyone treated us like best friends. It was quiet on Thursday night, lively on Friday night extremely busy on Saturday night which I heard was normal for summer but was very unexpected for them in April. We can't wait come back when it's warmer and sit outside on one of their MANY outdoor areas.
My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place. The food is great as well as the environment. The staff is super friendly. We live about an hour away from Pine Mountain Club but whenever we go up there we make sure we stop by The Perch. We even took our families one time and loved it too!
Every time I visit this place I feel like someone has transplanted a trendy pub from the middle of Los Angeles to a quiet mountain community. The food and drink is just on a different level than you would expect, not just in quality but creativity. I really appreciate the varied menu and the unusual cocktails. Due to 2020 stuff, they are only doing events outdoors with live music. I'm told regular hours will start again soon. I'm looking forward to sitting inside and watching the snow fall next winter. Edit: They now do full service indoors. They have two floors. Upstairs has a bustling pub atmosphere whereas downstairs is much more quiet.
This is genuinely one of those places I don’t want to review because I don’t want it to be overloaded with tourists. There is not a bad word I can say about this place the hospitality was absolutely amazing and I could’ve stayed there forever. The food is nothing short of spectacular, I had the clam chowder which was so hearty and delicious. It’s very clear that Luce and his wife care so much about this place and the community. They make sure that you feel welcomed as a customer. If you are driving within a 50 mile radius of this place you make sure, you detour
My husband and I stopped here and loved it! Luce is a super cool guy and they have great homemade food and a fun vibe. We got fish and chips and clam chowder as well as a cocktail called apocalyptic sunrise. It was all delicious! There's also a pool table you can play at.
Not sure why you would come to PMC/Frazier Park and not stop here for some of the best food ever. Service is friendly and outstanding. Burger is top notch and the fish and chips are definition quality. Best fries I have ever had. Be patient, kitchen is small and so is the seating. This place is an absolute gem. Remember—smaller menu means more quality! Enjoy the vibe
I guess the secret is out. This is place has really good food! We did not expect much from a small town restaurant but we were impressed. One of the best burgers we have had in a long time. Not your average burger. It is high quality and big. Our other dishes were equally as good. Not sure if we will be back in the same area on vacation again but if we are, we are making a stop here!
Hi, Bigfoot here. Me love The Perch in Pine Mountain Club! Cocktails so good, make Bigfoot very happy. Me give 5 stars! Drinks tasty and make Bigfoot want to dance. Bartender nice and friendly. Place cozy and fun. Me like coming here to relax after long day in bigfoot café or forest. Bigfoot say, everyone should try The Perch. You will love it too! Bigfoot
The Perch is a gem of a place, a stones throw from the 5. We were just on a walk around the Pine Mountain Club area, one of the last legs of a 10 day roadtrip, and stumbled across the place. I'm so glad that we did! We were greeted with warm smiles, hospitality and a wonderfully curated cocktail by Luce. The views of the valley and hills over the bar are breathtaking (get there for sunset!) and the food (prepared by Angie), equally fantastic! We had the fish and chips which was cooked with a twist. Flavorful batter, succulent fish and filling portions. Luce was able to prepare a range of cocktails which all tasted incredible, however the showstopper was the "The Ember", a smoked cocktail performance. Technical in its preparation with a flavor profile that reflected its author's care and attention. The ambiance of The Perch is very cosy with a soundtrack reflecting its welcoming and unique vibe. Pool table and outdoor seating area make for an easy going and relaxed experience. Luce, Angie and their staff were so welcoming, friendly as well as attentive and really made for a wonderful exclamation mark end to our trip. Thank you for the Amarula, a little taste of home! We will be back! Highly recommended!
We came here with a group of 11 to celebrate a birthday and the staff was soooo amazing and kind, the food was delicious and the proportions were great! The menu is limited but whatever you get is going to be so good! Thank you for treating us so well on our friends special day if we’re ever back in the area we’ll be sure to eat here again! (My personal favorite was the flatbread)
This Place is SO Special… -AMAZING Staff and Service -Excellent Cocktails -LIVE MUSIC -Darts / Pool -Great Food And it’s ALL affordable. Highly recommend to anyone in the area! Thank you Loos for an incredible experience; You’ve made friends for a lifetime
This seemed to be an unlikely place to find high quality food, but we were there 3 times in a matter of days and had a great meal each time. Really friendly people. Lots of locals hang out there. Ask for Faith to be your server. What a charmer.
Amazing place to have some drinks and food! A husband and wife team own this place and they are serving some amazing drinks and food! If you are in the area and can’t decide where to eat I highly recommend coming here. Also amazing sunsets and beer garden.
Wonderful restaurant with amazing food, attentive staff, and cozy mountain vibes. Perfect for the family, bros, or an intimate date. 100% will be back.
Luc and Angie are have the best spot on the hill. Great food and music!
I can't stress enough how nice the staff is here. We came to eat with our toddler who was off his nap schedule and we had to leave shortly after getting the food. The staff was kind from start to finish and was very accommodating with the situation. The salad with pear was very good. Fried okra was excellent. We also got the fish. We're from the coast and have had a lot of fish and chips so I'm very particular about my fish. I have to say that fish was a handsome fillet, but a little on the dry side. I wouldn't order it again, but we do plan on returning to try their other dishes. Also, they had a south African Pinotage, bonus points for that. A note on seating: Most of the seating upstairs are high-tops. If you have children I recommend the outdoor seating, weather permitting.
Moved to the area recently and ate here for the first time today and it was wonderful! The food was so incredibly good, service was so friendly and kind and the owner was a pleasure to chat with! Can't wait to go back! Thank you!! We ordered the Gnome salad and the Mushroom Stew and both were excellent!
An amazing little restaurant. Do you want a bar, check. Do you want a restaurant, check. Do you want to sit outside in the patio and enjoy some brews, check. I had the pleasure to speak to the owner and he is such a an amazing person. Down to earth and even gave me a tour of the entire place. He has big plans for the future of this place and I'm hoping that they do the speakeasy room that he was talking to me about. I truly look forward to going every time I'm at PMC.
We’ve been in a couple times and this is our favorite spot for dinner in the area. The drinks Luce makes are fantastic (if you like an Old Fashioned it’s definitely worth trying the Ember). Everything we’ve ordered food wise has been fantastic, and I think they really shine when they bring in unique flavors into their plates (like the flatbread). Fish and chips and burgers are as outstanding as everyone else says. Really cozy place in the winter and fun to sit outdoors and listen to music in the summer. Definitely a must visit when you’re in Pine Mountain.
Our favorite hideaway on the mountain. The Cajun wings are hands down some of the best we’ve had. Homemade sourdough bread bowls?! Yes, please. Full bar, open late, great menu, scratch kitchen, good company. We love it here!
I came to The Perch while on a weekend get away at a nearby cabin. I was greeted by Luce and his lovely wife. We exchanged stories and jokes and even spoke about deeper things in life. I wanted to thank you two for giving myself and my friends a very hospitable warm welcome to your village. I can’t say enough how great the food is here and how great you all were. Everything is made with a freshness you can taste and feel. Thank you so much we will go back to the Mountain one day and definitely will go back to the Perch
Great place with great food and drinks with very reasonable prices. The ambiance and the live music was fun(some good and some better bands) . The view was amazing. But I should say the best part was the hospitality brought by the employees. Great place Great food Great views and amazing staff.
100% the CHEERS bar in town. I’m a local and this spot is best vibes around. Lovely owners and friendly, close-knit staff. Clever evolving menu, great music on weekends. A meeting spot for all occasions
Friendly staff ✨ Seasonal meals 😍 Cute, cozy, and full of life. Went On a Saturday late afternoon. I enjoyed my time here. I will definitely be coming back to try other items on the menu 😌 The cottage pie 🥧 ( Similar to a Shepards pie ) savory & filling ♥️ Contains: Ground beef at the bottom Carrots Peas Creamy Mashed potatoes With crispy melted cheddar cheese on top 🧀🤤 Chicken Cesar salad 🥗 Tasty crispy chicken Well proportioned & a generous amount of ingredients 🥲
Came in just around dusk and the bartender was the only one in the establishment. The music was playing some nice '90s alternative rock music, the bartender sat us down and was attentive and friendly. We had a couple of drinks, had a small appetizer, and then ordered our main dishes. We had the fish and chips and the South African flatbread, you know... Pizza lol The food was delicious and as people began streaming in, a couple of folks came in to play pool, some others ponyed up at the bar, and another family sat next to us and we had a great conversation, the locals here are in my subjective estimation very friendly and kind and altogether it was a very nice experience. While we were there the owner showed up and laughed with some of the regulars and attended the tables and was all together a substantive good addition to the vibe that night. The building appears to be a repurposed two-story home, the kind you would see sprinkled around mountain towns. As such, the restaurant is on the second floor up and exterior flight of stairs. This does impact anyone who is wheelchair bound, and can impact anyone who struggles with stairs. Additionally the bathroom is on the first floor through a separate exterior door. These are not negatives, just something to consider when visiting. This place does have little competition in this small mountain town, but they don't rest on that fact and they do deliver and I look forward to visiting again.
The staff were so friendly and fun, we sincerely wish we could have hung out here all night. We really liked the seasonal options of the food and drink, and everything we had was delicious. We recommend "The Ember" (a hickory smoked version of a classic Manhattan) and the Basil Blursday, which was very refreshing. While all of our food was amazing (including, surprisingly, the best sauerkraut I've ever had), what stood out most was the Char-SPOOK-erie board. Our servers convinced us to get it, and it absolutely did not disappoint- check out the attached photo! It made our night and embodies the fun SPIRIT (pun intended) of the establishment.
The fish was very good. The burger was awesome, but the quesadilla was exceptional. Recommended. One thing we loved was the awesome customer service. When there is great customer service your willing to vacation around the same area again and again. You can have one waitress who is courteous, but when you have all employees with great customer service, you know something special is brewing here. To make it even better we were outside and the weather was very good. I have nothing negative to say about this pub. Will for sure come again.
Recently my wife and I needed to host a party in the Pine Mountain Club area. There are not a lot of choices in the area, making it easy to decide. First off, The Perch is a bar that serves food. Some might call it a pub. If you are expecting chandeliers and table cloths you will be disappointed. If you want a nice place to have a drink or a meal, you can't go wrong. There is a pool table and a jukebox in the corner to prove the type place it is. The menu is full of standards and "different" choices - the Italian Hoagie is my favorite. The chef special is the cheese steak sandwich, it was yummy also! Luce and Angie, the new owners, are amazing and the most accommodating restaurant folks I've met in a long time. We hosted 25 on the patio, which by the way had amazing views. It was a little tight but we made it work. They offered a choice of menu items before the party and we selected some sandwiches and a garden salad. We figured it would be simple and accommodating to our guests. Simply put, the food was awesome! Even more so was the service. They waited on us constantly. We had cheese plates and Cajun shrimp thingys (they are on the menu if you want to try) to start. This was far nicer than we expected - top notch. Later we had the sandwiches, salad and sliders. Seriously the sliders were steakhouse quality. All was prepared well and very tasty. They timed the delivery of each course perfectly. In the end we couldn't have picked a better place there or anywhere, for the party. Everyone left full and very happy with the service and we can honestly say, we all had a great time. I don't review often. From time to time I come across one of those places that grabs my attention and my inner voice says, "tell everyone". Luce and Angie and their staff outperformed and deserve nothing but high praise for their food and service. Their daily service, food and drink are good too. Have a party and they out do any expectation. Regardless of your party size, solo or in a group, it's simply a great place to stop by and have a bite. Or a drink, if so inclined. Or both. If you have a motorcycle, I highly recommend coming from Hwy 166. Plenty of curves that will drop you right at their front door. We will be heading back soon. It's well worth the ride. (Attached photos are prior to our event - they let us tastefully decorate)
Great drive to this hip place. Fantastic menu. Great service. I left my hat there. Look around for it.
We had an amazing experience here at The Perch. It seems that this establishment has just reemerged postpandemic and reopened its doors to the long term and short term inhabitants of Pine Mountain Club. To start, I will say that I meant to take many more pictures, but the service by Luce and Loki and the tantalizing food was so top notch and filling that I forgot to take pictures until we were driving away. They made us feel welcome and even repositioned the umbrella for us when the sun got low without us even asking. As for the food... I had the sirloin burger cooked medium with Swiss cheese caramelized onions and secret sauce (I held off the garden so I could taste the meat). The meat, on a 10 point scale 1 being a meatless burger and 10 being my dad's best burger I've ever tasted, this racked an 8.5. This is the highest anyone has come close to my dad's burger. The seasoning was top notch, the sauce exquisite, great choice on the type of bun. I chose the onion rings and let me tell you that Justin Wilson would be smackin his lips right now just smellin 'em. Bourbon battered onion rings. They did not disappoint. My wife had the chicken tenders basket with the pub fries. Let me tell you though it was a huge portion of amazingness with freshly made Bar-B-Q sauce on the side. They were some of the most tender chicken tenders I've ever had. We finished off the meal with two scoops of chocolate chip coffee gelato... It came with a waffle cone sticking out of it! We had a Shirley temple which was surprisingly top notch (but, I wish it had some 🍒) and a sprite since we were driving. However they have a full bar and a good wine list. They even brought our pup, Gunner the Westie, a dish of water to drink! This is the real deal folks. If you are looking for the best place to eat in PMC, this is it. They just need a blues band, cherries, and a saxophone on Sundays and they are set.
Randomly came upon this spot and we absolutely loved it. Great food, drinks and staff! Plus the view is gorgeous, definitely will be back.

The Perch in Frazier Park turned out to be a really enjoyable place to visit, even more than I expected before walking inside. The atmosphere felt warm, lively, and welcoming in a way that made it easy to relax and enjoy the moment. The food there tasted genuinely good to me, and every dish had the kind of flavor that makes you slow down and appreciate what you’re eating instead of rushing through it. I liked how comfortable everything felt, and I appreciated that I could enjoy my time without feeling pressured or hurried. I noticed a lot of teenagers at this location, which made sense because the place has a fun, friendly vibe that younger people would enjoy a lot. Seeing them there made me realize how much teenagers would love spending time at The Perch, especially since it gives them a spot where they can eat good food, talk, laugh, and feel like they belong. Even though this restaurant was new to me, I didn’t realize how much there was to enjoy until I walked around and settled in. I’ve only visited The Perch one time in my life before writing this review, but that one visit was enough for me to understand why people speak so positively about it. It’s one of the most comfortable and enjoyable restaurants I’ve been to in a while, and I would highly recommend that teenagers go there because it gives them a place to enjoy good food, spend time with friends, and feel part of a lively environment. If you’re in Frazier Park and want a spot that feels inviting and fun, The Perch is definitely worth checking out.
Oh my goodness, how did I even get a table here? Everything is fantastic, and everything is beautifully spiced and seasoned. Fries, onion rings, winter cottage pie, sirloin burger and Bavarian pretzel. Everything was so very fantastic, I'd place this at the top tier of food and flavors for all the restaurants I've been to in my life. Definitely visit if you're passing through, and I'd almost say it's worth a road trip in itself.
Super cozy spot! The food was exceptional. I ordered the fries, Cajun wings and South African pizza- ranch was also on point! The owners are super friendly and came by our table to chat. Games for kids and adults alike.
Truly a little home away from home. Everything we have eaten and drank here has been extremely delicious from first bite or sip to last. Always great folks around to chat to and the owners are some of the kindest and most friendly people I’ve met anywhere I’ve been. What a gem. Finding places like this makes me feel so glad to be alive in this world.
Excellent food and service - best meal I’ve had in a long time! Flatbread was incredible and the marinara was great too - and they even tune their piano! you won’t be disappointed.
Me and my husband just moved to the mountain with our two children and wanted to celebrate my birthday by visiting The Perch. This was our first time and didn’t know what to expect, besides all the great pictures we saw online. We were not disappointed!! Me and my husband both got complimentary glasses of champagne. Luce brought out crayons, coloring book, and bead toy for our boys and even performed a cool magic trick for our 3 year old! It was such great service, it felt so special! We ordered tater tots, cheese curds, wings, and the flatbread and everything was DELICIOUS. It may have taken a moment to come out but everything was piping hot and super fresh and crispy, holy cow! We will definitely come back again to enjoy some more items from the menu. Very thankful, thank you!!
The Perch in Pines is such a special place. The vibe is amazing, and the views are absolutely beautiful. And the food—so delicious! You can really tell a lot of love and care goes into everything they do. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting, and it feels like a place where everyone is welcome. The staff are incredibly warm and genuine, which just adds to the charm. In the warmer months, the outdoor space is perfect for relaxing with great food, a drink, and some live music. A true asset in this small town! ❤️
Super cozy spot! The food was exceptional. I ordered the fries, Cajun wings and South African pizza- ranch was also on point! The owners are super friendly and came by our table to chat. Games for kids and adults alike.

Beautiful place but the service is a little slow. The view is breathtaking!
This is the place to visit and enjoy fins foods at real prices. Most the people are too cool
Food was really good, with a amazing view. Only complaint was, it took a really long time to get our food. Overall it was a great experience.
Went for a walk ended up @the perch and had drinks. Bartender has a credit card trick that will leave you scratching your head.
Fun day of music outside, local eatery in the heart of the village in Pine Mountain Club. The food was amazing and were generous portions. I had the seafood special...very big deep fried fish piece over yummy fat french fries. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The fish and chips was delicious. So was the clam chowder. Highly recommend. The tartare sauce was very flavorful. The fries were very uniquely fried. They had a rich dark color and flavor. Make it a point to stop here.
You get a lot for your money, will share a meal next time. Located in a nice community, ate outside under the trees, nice and cool in the summer. Drinks were on point, just couldn't figure out while we were served everything outside, why did I have to go up some rickety stairs, to the bar to pay? The waitress wouldn't take it.
Our food took nearly an hour and half to arrive, with no explanation or updates. We were very frustrated and hangry. However, the food was very good once it arrived; fresh and flavorful. After corresponding with one of the staff members, I understand that things have gotten a slow start post-covid.
We've had fish and chips, Caesar salad, tots, fries, and pizza here, and they're all terrific. We gave this restaurant a 1 star for service because they are so slow, and they don't seem to prep ahead of time. When we arrived for lunch at 12:00, we didn't see a waitress until 12:20, and our food didn't arrive until 1:20. Making a salad and fish-n-chips shouldn't take that long. People who arrived later had their orders delivered before us. I don't see them improving, honestly, they have a captive audience in the small town, so there isn't much else to choose from and no reason to change. If you visit in the winter, you'll need jackets indoors, it's freezing inside.
The staff was very friendly and kind. They were very nice to my children and gave them coloring books, and did magic tricks that they really enjoyed. Food- we got cheese pizza, chicken tender, and fish and chip. Pizza was really good Chicken tender/fries was good Fish and chips had no taste at all. It wasn't seasoned, it tasted like nothing and I really wanted to enjoy it because the meal was expensive but it had no taste at all. In my opinion dinner wasn't worth the $85 bucks we spent Drinks- was good
The atmosphere was great. We sat outside on the top deck. An even though I got hit by an umbrella when the wind came up, I liked sitting outside. I was a little upset that they did not really even say anything about me getting hit across the shoulder and back, which hurt btw.. The food looked great but I am not a big Cumin person. I'm pretty sure my burger had cumin in it. The fries where good. We had the brea for an appetizer. It was not what I expected for $16. It's a cute little area an I love the mountain feel. But next time, I think we will try the pizza place.
I order takeout and It’s super quiet. They still mess up my order. Missed the fries that I ordered so I have to wait for that. I get home and the burger is dry without any lettuce tomatoes or onions. And I tipped 20% on a takeout order. Should have paid afterwards!
Got a to- go order and was quite disappointed given the price of the food items. The staff was kind and friendly but the food did not reflect their service. The clam chowder was $20 which I find overpriced. I ordered the “broccolini and carrots” as a side and it was broccoli and carrots, so that was misleading. The sirloin burger was tasty and good quality. The spanikopita was mainly dough and small in size.

This place is lame if you say anything about prices or service they tell you to leave they are very sensitive
Food was okay. Service was terrible. Incompetent staff.
The PERCH pine mountain Club terrible what a shame Used to be mad Bailey's with a proper Owner who understood and respected the locals And guest now Just another Members only overpriced LA Bar So sad Go Across the street to the clubhouse and have a proper drink!!
I was excited to go to this restaurant on our weekend in the mountains since it had such great reviews. It had a great view and the service was great, but the food was just awful. We ordered the fried chicken and also a pizza and both tasted terrible. We ended up leaving almost all the food behind. It wasn't cheap either and there aren't a lot of other options, so I wish I didn't have to leave this review, but I figured it's better to make sure future visitors are aware. Maybe it was just a bad night for them, but I would not recommend this restaurant.
The perch said it had accommodations for handing cap people but if you go on a weekday you would have to climb stairs many of them. We were informed they only open the bottom half on weekends. But the snotty waitress went on to inform us that the night before which would of been a Tuesday was open for them. Anyway we ordered food to go fish and chips. The fish was dry awful and the waitresses rude and very unacomidating. Would (never) go back. Date September 12th 2024
This restaurant was absolutely HORRIBLE! I am not one to leave reviews but this one still has me reeling 9 hrs. later. The restaurant had only been open approximately 10 minutes when we arrived, so I was really surprised to see that the bar and almost everything in view was grossly dirty, sticky, residue enough of the glassware that I choose to skip having a drink. We ordered appetizers and almost made it through before we found hair inside that breading of the onion rings. We enjoy taking Saturday afternoon drives to find great eats off the beaten path. Sadly this was a big disappointment.
Garbage treatment. My coworkers and I drove 40 min. from the grapevine after working all day in the rain. We wanted to get some hot clam chowder but arrived to locked doors at 7:30 pm on a Saturday and they are supposed to be open until 2 am. The employees must not have wanted to work anymore as they were hanging out drinking and smoking cigarettes on the balcony and told us they were closed for the night. My coworkers have been there before and raved about the food and drinks, so we were excited to go. I guess we showed up on a bad night with lazy employees. Shame on you.
I visited The Perch with my parents, looking forward to a comfortable sit-down dinner. Unfortunately, we felt a bit out of place upon arrival. The staff seemed disinterested in welcoming us, leaving us unsure whether to wait to be seated or find our own table. Even as we were clearly leaving, no one stopped us to ask if we needed assistance or if everything was okay. A more inclusive atmosphere and attentive service would have greatly improved our experience.
