I'm very happy and pleased to stop here. We were able to put gas get a drink and use restrooms. All the rest areas were closed so far on route 101 north. Thank GOD for this business being safetly open. I would rate this Chevron in cleanliness a 10.

Santa Maria doesnt have that much fast food places that are open 24hrs🌞🏪🌝. So Jack in the box🍔 is the one place to go whenever your hungry or you get a midnight craving🍦🍟. My last trip was @ 1am🌛,We weren't sleepy so I was just goofing😋 around with my kids👧👶 when we decided to go grab something to snack on and of course we ended up at Jack in the box🍔 drive-thru🚗 which was the perfect choice👍

I don’t eat a lot of fast food, but I took my kids here for a coke. They liked the food, and it’s clean. They have those soda machines where you can mix a Coke Zero with lime. They’re also friendly. 🥰

Hi. We went here planning on eating, however, before ordering I received a phone call from a friend of mine who was also visiting the area and invited us to their hotel so we left. There were several other guests eating here at the time. Tables, chairs and floor were clean. I would recommend anyone in the area that was wanting Jack in the Box food to go here.

Was pleasantly surprised by my late night drive-thru experience at Jack in the Box. They were open for one thing (more than I can say about McDonald's down the street). And they were efficient and friendly. I'd probably give 4.5 stars if I could. It's just that the food isn't the greatest. And I should know that by now! And they've raised their prices too. (Thanks Trump for deregulations that hurts everyone but the 1% and leads to economic instability and higher prices because fat cat CEOs know they can get away with it in an inflationary environment!) Two 🌮 were $0.99 for the longest time. Now they're $1.69. That's a 70% increase if you're bad at math. But overall I'd recommend this place. It's right off the freeway in Pismo Beach. Easy on/off if you're traveling on South 101.

The manager said he was going to help me in a second, but he bypassed me to help 3 other customers. Then he angrily asked what he can do. I said the soda machine has several selections unavailable. He didn't fix it,he just filled my drink from the back.

Not much to say. It's Jack in the Box. Definitely a time/place restaurant. If you are on the go and don't eat it often, it's a good go to for a fast breakfast.

Service is usually quick, but someone in the back is a bit of a jerk today. Just ordered a Teriyaki Bowl with light sauce and the container is actually filled with mostly sauce. There must be 6+ packets in here! I can't eat this.

It's a normal jack in the box. They don't have restrooms in the jack in the box so you have to use the restroom in the adjoining gas station

Generally the food is good...sometimes overcooked. Have found missing items in the bag a few times once I got home...make sure and double check the bag when they hand it to you!

It's a fast food joint. They're designed to be indistinguishable from each other. The only ways they are able to leap out of the ordinary are if you got truly immaculate or truly horrible service. This branch did neither. Good service - as expected.

It was ok the food was ok but my burger that I payed an extra dollar for just for bacon had no bacon. There was no toilet paper in non of the stalls which was not a surprise.The service was ok but not that helpful. And it was kinda creepy in there but it is 8:00 so not a big deal. Service - My order was very slow, several drive though orders were processed while I waited, and the guy that came in and ordered after me got his large order for his family in the adjacent minimart before me. Food - The breakfast platter had 3 french toast sticks rather than the mini pancakes. I look forward to the mini pancakes. Atmosphere - Honestly was not bad. I had the place to myself, and it was clean and quiet .

Live close to this place go there late after work so I dont have to cook and 95% of the time they get my order wrong

I only go to Jack In The Box if I'm extremely hungry and don't feel like cooking on this day I did and I got the patty melt it was not very good. The bread was very soggy it seems every time I go to Jack In The Box it doesn't matter which one they never make it the way I asked him to. When time I got a junior Jumbo Jack ask for the secret sauce on it instead of the packets as I was driving and they didn't put it on there I asked for no lettuce they put lettuce on it it's like they don't really listen

The service was fine and the staff seemed friendly. However, this is the 2nd or 3rd time that we have ordered the chicken fajita pitas and they are inferior to those provided at other Jack's. The pita is less than half full and part of the filling is rolled up pita bread. They could take a lesson from the Jack's in Paso Robles.

On business trip. I never do reviews. Got Sourdough jack meal. Looks good, tastes good, but near cold and I just unwrapped it. Stopped at McDonald’s yesterday which is near this Jack in the Box and wow, pretty big difference = perfectly hot, double quarter pounders, tender meat, great taste. Comparing the two - go to McDonalds.

So we were hungry and it was super early in the morning. Not too many places open 24/7. We came to this Jack-in-theBox. The drive through guy was super nice but I will say we were short changed when it came to their chicken strips. They considered a quarter sized chicken piece to be a "strip". $5 for thin not even 4 piece chicken strips that you don't even get a full 4 pieces!! Will never be back. And we go to Pismo quite often. Not worth the money.

I used to like this place, but I can't remember the last time they got our order correct, or gave us decent service. Giving it 2 stars for location and the food tastes good, when it is made right.

Had a problem with getting fewer jalapenos in our order and having them complain about a cook after replacing them. After we got home the jalapenos were tough like they were old. When I went back to exchange them I was met with scepticism. So I left the order and will not go back.

This location does not maintain the hours advertised on their windows, on their website, or in the app. I placed an order on the app at 9:15 PM when they were supposed to close at 10. I arrived at 9:25 and they had blocked their drive-through and refused to make my order even though the money had already been charged from my credit card. The only positive feedback I can give is that the staff Continued to wear masks even though nobody was in the restaurant while they were cleaning. I commend them for taking safety precautions when they very well could’ve taken off their masks after they had closed.

Ultimate Cheeseburger used to be better than McD"s Double QP, not anymore since McD's uses fresh beef now. Also, food overcooked and dried out. This location has a Chevron gas station with it, expect harrassment from homeless people and tweekers here. This location needs a 24 hour security guard. Restaurant clean, employees polite and friendly.

If i could rate it no stars I would i spent $41.58 an bought 30 tacos plus other stuff an only get 12 packets of hot sause what a joke I'm feeding 12 adults an the all are suppose to get one sause each I mean come on now one sause per taco would of been nice at least now I gotta make a drive back also had to park an wait 14mins for our order

Horrible experience, they charged me for the wrong order. When I tried asking for my receipt for my “ refund” the guy closed the drive thru window and ignored me until I left.

On Monday October the 16th at 7:30pm I tried to to order a meal through the drive through and one of the female employees was VERY rude and unprofessional when I tried to pay with my card and she did not accept my card because it was slightly bent and told me that she could not take the card in a RUDE way and I mentioned to her that it works everywhere and that she can even type it manually if there was a problem so she did not take my order and did not accept my card so I got off and told her to try another machine and she refused to do it so I bought something at Chevron and went back to tried to order a Munchy meal and she said that the price went up and that it would be 10$ so I told her I don't care and I wanted to make a point that she was unprofessional and unfit to work at customer service and if I was the manager I would fire her in a second because you don't treat customers like that and because of it I don't recommend this Jack and the Box to family and friends I will give this Jack-in-the-Box👎👎👎💩💩💩 I will be talking to corporate about this

The spicy chicken sandwich was dry, chicken overcooked and the whole sandwich fell apart when you picked it up. Worst lunch we have had in years.

This is the worst Jack-in-the-Box I've ever been to, the service is horrible, nobody even asked if they could help you they just look at you when they finally get around to it, I ordered two tacos, they were okay my wife sourdough Burger was cold I'm tasteless, the soda machine was out and flooded all over the floor so we asked if they could get the drinks 4S and they kind of huffed and puffed and finally got them my iced tea tasted like something I've never tasted before it was horrible, we have had trouble here before at the drive-thru window, I highly do not recommend this place.

I don't know what's going on here but I'm done with this branch until they clean house. Took over 20 minutes to get my order today at around 3:40pm. There was no type of management cordinating them and I was not alone saying this today inside chain. They seemed swamped and I've worked restaurants and it wasn't that bad just a bunch of workers out of touch with keeping up. I live in Arroyo Grande next door and like this place after beach day but never again until I see some management guidance being not only shown but proven. Two families there today's said they are going to the Jack's on Grand and Elm next time. It's closer to my home, but why can't we have two Jack's location that are awesome? What's up guys? And why ask me to go to comments part of your website? After me giving you my personal information all they said was sorry. Is selling our info how you pay people back for complaint? How about fixing you own backyard?

The food was very dry and over cooked. I paid extra to add AMERICAN yellow cheese...not only did they not add it but they also tried to say it was added already. Sorry but white cheese isn't the same as yellow😒 they put an excessive amount of ketchup on my burger and the customer service sucked. 0 stars for this. Sacramento jack in the box is 10× better. Stopped here for breakfast on our way out of town. Hubs wanted to try here instead of our trusty McD’s. I ordered the Grilled Sourdough Swiss Sandwich with hash browns (not a combo) and hubs ordered the Breakfast Jack combo with coffee. He got what he ordered … I got something that’s not even in the menu!! Think they just made it up … two eggs, ham and American cheese … not even close to what I ordered AND NO hash browns. McD’s next time.

I was ordering my food and the lady was very rude because she couldn’t hear me and even gave me attitude I order my food at 1013am on 1/14/2023 I’m kind nervous to even eat my food. And I love jack in the box one of my favorite fast foods

This place is slow and unfriendly. I had to walk out after standing in front of the counter for 3 minutes ( I timed it) without getting acknowledged... all while they were fulfilling drive through. Dont expect any service with your food. It's supposed to be fast food not wait for your food.

Me and my wife tried to order a side of rice and veggies and the guy that was taking our order said that we couldn’t order sides anymore because it was a new policy. So we contacted the district manager because she’s our friend and she said that there was no issue. So we went to get our food at the one in San Luis Obispo and they didn’t ask us anything at all or tell us about that “NEW POLICY” existing.

I live just down the road from this place, every time I go here I order the same thing (grilled sourdough combo, curly fries, and egg rolls), every single time I've gone there (about 10 times) they get my order wrong, give me the wrong change, or forget to put something in the bag I specifically asked for (like sweet and sour sauce for the egg rolls), I call the store every time they screw up (every single time I've been there) and every time the manager tells me they will talk to the misguided employee so the problem will never happen again, and every time it happens again. Seriously this is the worst jack in the box I've ever been to and wont be going back, Ive even emailed their jack in the box regonal managers and still nothing has changed. I'm starting to think jack in the box just sucks.

Food is hit or miss and some of the workers are great, like Kevin and I believe his name is Chris, but the "managers" Shay and Cindy are terrible. Rude, dismissive, I guess that is all you can get when you pay fast food wages. I'd rather pay a little more for my food and have decent workers and a clean resturant.

I give this place a 1 based on an incident we had over the weekend. Over the weekend we came through the drive through with 3 hungry kids, my husband ordered and accidentally gave the manager an extra $20 with his amount due. Upon recognizing, my husband asked for the money back and the manager (a male) argued and lied all while he hid the $20 on the side. My husband quickly asked for a refund and the manager then handed us the $20, locked up the windows and hid in the back. We had to drive around and get off the car and walk inside. He would not come out, didn't give us our food or money. The police was called and after review of the cameras, officer said he did notice him out the money to the side but that the manager (the guy) said he was busy with a drive thru customer and us and didn't realize what had happened. We were refunded after 30 minutes. This guy how ever has no integrity and sure knows how to waste people's time.

I wish I could give it zero stars. The worst service I've ever had at a fast food restaurant. I literally took the stale food back and told them I want a refund. They never even got my order right. I should have went to huckleberry's instead. Plus they were all stoned. These are the people that want $15 an hour. Not if I have something to do with it!

You know when I go to a Jack In The Box my expectations are pretty low, but when I get two disgusting fossil-hard old-oil-suffused nuggets of maybe-chicken instead of their usual mediocre spicy chicken sandwich, well..... It deserves a star, a single star: a stinky star.

Don’t come to this jack in the box gave them a simple order and they can’t even get that right for a cheese burger with ketchup and mustard.....then they got the fries wrong and made us sit in the parking lot for 10 minutes....for FRIES....we saw 4 other cars in that time get their food and leave. Honestly there was no one here and they still took 15 mins to make one breakfast burrito for a $6 burrito there should have been some kind of customer service. I think the cashier said two words to me when I got to the window.

Major fail. When I walked in to order I was pretty much told to leave. The woman said she had to take the orders from the cars in the drive through before she could take my order and I should go to the drive through. I explained that my vehicle would not fit through their drive through which was why I came inside. I was alone and there were no other customers inside. So she told me to wait. She finally took my order and my credit card. She went back to the drive through window. I waited and waited for her to return my card. A new employee showed up for his shift and she told him to make my chocolate shake. When he gave it to me it had no whipped cream or cherries. He said they were "out". Yeah right. Just like the last two times, eh? So, just say you don't make them that way anymore and charge less! He returned my card but no receipt. When my order finally came she walked around to the dining area to hold the door for me so she could lock it. So NOW you have time to get away from the drive through window? I discovered after I was locked out that I never got my receipt and my order was missing the dipping sauce. So disappointed in the whole place. I have lived in the area for more than 25 years. This place has gotten worse and worse. If the food were any good I could overlook bad service. Skip this sh*t show and go across the street to Brooks Burgers. They actually get it right and listen to their customers. Or if you're desperate, drive a little further south to the In n Out. The food's terrible but the people are way better than JITB.

Most HORRIBLE place I've ever been to. The employees are very disrespectful and just cut my family's order. They put cold cheese on my brother's burger, never gave us the rest of the order, and the employees were acting if they were high or something. Never going again in my life!!!

Worst jack in the box on the central coast or even California. My food is always horrible from my oreo shake not mixed to the tacos supersaturated in oil, I know this can only be achieved by re frying tacos that were cooked earlier. This place isn't worth the stop. Anywhere else is better from carls jr one exit away or the mcdonalds next door. Burger King is close too.

Order Uber eats from this place and there shake machine was down didn't offer to replace with different items just sent the driver off and told him to kick rocks. Terrible establishment. Horrible experience. The cooks DO NOT WEAR GLOVES. I saw the cook that just wiped off a dirty counter grab some tacos from the fryer and use his dirty hands to top them off with lettuce and cheese. GROSS!! PLACE IS EXTREMELY DIRTY AND RUN DOWN.

I'm absolutely REPULSED AND DISGUSTED. I'm not saying I expected the food to be good, but I surely expected that the food would not come with some absolute foul looking dust bunnies on the fries. I feel sick to my stomach having eaten a few of these fries. So did they scoop the fries from underneath the fryer then? I have the utmost respect for fast food workers, having been one myself for many years, which only makes me more upset when people don't take the care to notice a disgusting dust bunny in my food. To me the only way I can imagine disgusting human hair and dust in this abundance coming with my food is that somebody dropped the fries on the ground and put them in my bag. I can't imagine how else this would happen. UPDATE: No actual response from the restaurant for this disgusting and sickening experience. Maybe this type of stuff is so routine here that they didn't think it was worthy of a response?
