Pizmo Fish & Chips is hands down one of the best spots we’ve been to! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and laid-back, and it only got better from there. Our server, Lynette, truly made the experience special. She has such a cool vibe—friendly, attentive, and easy to talk to—while also being incredibly professional. She made sure everything came out just right and checked in at the perfect times without ever feeling rushed. The food was absolutely amazing! The fish was crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, while the chips were golden and satisfying. You can tell they take pride in the quality of what they serve. On top of that, the prices are surprisingly reasonable, especially for the freshness and portions you get. If you’re in the area and craving seafood done right, Pizmo Fish & Chips is a must-visit. With food this good and service this exceptional, we’ll definitely be back!

We tried the halibut fish and chips and it was very tasty. Easy to get seating since a little bit away from busy area. Very nice staff and helpful definitely worth trying .

First place we hit in Pismo and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better welcome. Everyone was so friendly, and the whole place has this old-school charm. The fish & chips were crispy and flaky, scallops were caramelized just right, oysters were super fresh, and yep… we went for the deep fried cheesecake and have no regrets. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in town.

This place is amazing - everything. Had the halibut fish and chips, waited on by Joseph (outstanding server). The fish is very fresh and good. The restaurant is bigger than expected and extremely clean, absolutely no fish smell the seafood is so fresh. See the picture.

Stopped by Pismo Fish and Chips for lunch. The place was busy but we were able to get a table. Waitress was very attentive and efficient even though she was very busy. We got our food fast. The Shrimp Luis salad was amazing and my wife enjoyed her Fish Sandwich with salad. Would definitely visit again.

Great food and wonderful customer service from Joesph. definitely recommend the cod for fish and chips, clam chowder was fantastic, burger with a brioche bun was great. don’t forget to save space for a lava cake.

As soon as my wife and I came in we were greeted. A nice lady named Brittney took our order and she was very pleasant. I had the large fish and chips. Food was bomb! I'm glad everything was not salty because of my blood pressure. We'll come back again.

Jose was our server and he was amazing! We had the “World Famous Chowder”. My mom and I have traveled 2100 miles tasting chowder in northern Ca this chowder is the best in ALL of California. We went back the next morning to bring it home with us. This is the best spot for dinner in Pismo. I also had the crab Louie and shrimp salad OMG amazing! Mom had the lobster roll Sandi and it was huge and great price. Nice chunks of lobster. I will spread the word about this spot! It’s a must have when visiting Pismo Beach,Ca

Value overall it's expensive. You're paying tourist price. I recently dined at Pismo Fish and Chips and ordered the fish and chips, clam chowder with bread, lobster rolls, and coleslaw. The fries were served with ketchup. The standout dish was the clam chowder, which was served in a warm, freshly-baked bread bowl. The chowder had a creamy texture and a rich, savory flavor that was accentuated by the fresh herbs and spices used in its preparation. The bread bowl added an additional layer of flavor and texture to the dish, creating a delicious combination that was both filling and satisfying. The fish and chips were equally impressive, with the fish battered to a perfect crispness and the fries cooked to a satisfying level of crunchiness. The lobster rolls were indulgent and flavorful, and the coleslaw provided a refreshing counterpoint to the richness of the other dishes. Overall, I had an excellent dining experience at Pismo Fish and Chips. Because I live in Monterey Bay Area I expect my seafood to be as good as the food from Monterey warf. This was okay, but the seafood from the Monterey Bay Area is better. I give this place a 6 out of 10.

I must have went on a bad day because both my wife and I got sick. I was excited to try this place but I wish I didn't have to say I will not be coming back. The staff were lovely and the place had that old beachy vibe but that's it for me. I will stick with Splash.
