Amazing experience at Fogo de Chão! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. The atmosphere was lively and perfect for a night out or special occasion. Sergio, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and made us feel truly cared for. The Gauchos Flavio, Linder, and Bruno were fantastic. Every cut of meat was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. Their friendly personalities and great energy made the whole experience even better. The salad bar and sides were fresh and delicious, with so many great options to pair with the meats. Between the food, service, and atmosphere, Fogo de Chão is a place I’ll definitely be coming back to. Highly recommend!
We went here for Christmas eve dinner and it was excellent. The service was great they would ask if there was a meat we were wanting and it would come out to us or the server would get the attention of the server who had it and they would come by. Also you do no need to leave the parking garage to go to the restaurant beside it. So dont be like us and follow the GPS. Ours took us the wrong way around the building. Regardless we had a great time. Even the kids mocktails were flavorful and delicious. We will be back!
This place was awesome ! Great for the experience. You have to come hungry though, because if your not... It'll be a waste of your money. Service was 10/10, the buffet you get to munch from is decadent and there is a constant rotation of meat brought to your table (you'll fill up fast). We spent just over $300 as a couple and we had a few drinks as well. Worth checking it out at least once for sure !
Yes, it might be a little pricey, but wow the food was amazing and the service was superb! You literally could get the “meat sweats” from all the delicious meat options. Great flavor and done to perfection. Highly recommended for a special occasion.
My family and i came here for christmas dinner. The staff here is out of this world. From the hostess to the bartenders and the servers. We were treated with nothing but genuine kindness. It made our entire day. The lamb chops are always.... Chefs kiss. If i had to choose between fogo and texas de brasil i would choose fogo's everytime ♥️♥️♥️
The service was great and the choices of food to pick from was also great. The prices are okay. But the way they cook their food and quality was great. And if you park in there building they will validate your parking pass
Our experience at Fogo de Chão was absolutely wonderful. The meat was excellent and very flavorful. We had the wagyu ribeye which I would highly recommend. The gauchos brought it out and cut it at the table and we got to enjoy it off of a sizzling salt block that added even more flavor. The chimichurri sauce went very well with it as well. The lobster mac and cheese and crab cakes were also excellent. The service was amazing too, between servers, gauchos, and managers we felt like royalty. They anticipated our every need without even having to ask. Even the cocktails were perfect! There was also live music playing which elevated our experience. We had the cheesecake brûlée and chocolate brigadeiro cake for dessert. They were so delicious I even forgot to take a picture! I would highly recommend Fogo de Chao for any special night or even just a regular night because they will not disappoint. Special thanks to Mara, Lisandro and Josue for making our dinner unforgettable :)
We visited for my Birthday and had a lovely experience on the whole. Great spot for a special occasion. Our service from Ivy, Alejandro and all of the other servers was exceptional.
Always the best experience here. Birthday rewards and a free dessert plus excellent service. Enjoyed all the cuts of meats and sides they provide. Always the go to place to celebrate a special evening.
The picanha, filet mignon and ribeye are out of this world. The Brazilian music and ambiance too. I arrived at 9:25 even though it closes at 9:30 and they still gave me the full experience
Wonderful first experience. Our server, John, was very attentive. Can’t rave enough about the market table. As a vegetarian, I initially thought there wouldn’t be many options for me but discovered two great menu options as well as endless options at the market table. The gauchos never seemed to stop coming! My boyfriend’s favorite was the pork belly with honey.
Picasa and other 🍖 😋. Well, I mainly ate beef. Salad bar was okay. The dessert was really good.
The food was amazing the lamb, steak, pork, pork belly with honey. Salad bar everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. You definitely can fill up on this endless supply and they keep it coming. Come empty and leave full. Don’t forget to tip.
Togo de Chao is a high end restaurant that serves good food in a professional way. The attendants were very helpful and kind. The food was well cooked and flavorful. My favorite was bacon wrapped stake and the best was the fried cheese and honey. I went for my friend’s birthday and they provided him with a complementary birthday dessert. Overall it was a great experience and would recommend.
We dined here for a company trip and I was NOT disappointed. At first I was a bit confused why our room was so wide but as the meats came in I understood. Now, I can't it was ideal for chatter among your colleagues, but it made a lot of sense for the ease of distribution for food. Eating here we did "All You Can Eat" and we picked up our appetizers ourselves but the meat was served to us. The staff was pretty good at being pretty constant as they walked around with different meats. If you missed something they usually came back. Honestly I tried so much food even thinking about it I'm stuffed. It is a very elevated vibe at this venue and honestly, I can't wait to go back in my own city.
Really enjoyed our dinner. The food was great. Ivy and Ellie were excellent and very informative. The desserts were incredible as well.
The food and atmosphere was incredible. Live music was great. Our server was great and beautiful.
Food is outstanding! Quality meat and the fresh food bar is so tasty and diverse. Lots of great foods to choose from and you will certainly not leave hungry. Staff was attentive and helpful, and made sure to ask if we wanted more sides, bread or a specific cut of meat. Anyone looking for an elegant and delicious meal will love it here. Recommend making a reservation for sure.
We celebrated my husband's birthday on our first visit and they were unbelievably Regal
As a Brazilian I can tell you that Fogo has the best and authentic Brazilian barbecue experience. It starts if a warm welcome by the hostess and follows with “Pão-de-Queijo” a very traditional Brazilian starter. We had the Full Experience and all the meats were in the perfect temperature for us, but the Server asked us first which one we wanted. The Market Table, where we can get salads and sides, has a great variety all really fresh, they even have rice, cooked beans and the real Brazilian Farofa. All the servers, “gauchos” (the ones who servers the meats) and the manager were very friendly and attentive. As dessert we ordered the Cheesecake Brulee that was an amazing match with Carajillos. Summarized it was a perfect experience and I can’t wait for coming back at Weekend Brunch, I heard they have some special dishes for it.
Absolutely incredible experience at Fogo de Chão! From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch. A special shoutout to Sergio, the manager, who truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. You can tell he genuinely cares about every guest and runs a tight, professional, and friendly operation. The gauchos, Flavio and Lindo, were outstanding! They brought every cut of meat with a smile and took the time to explain each one. The Brazilian cuts were cooked to perfection, picanha, fraldinha, lamb chops, all juicy, flavorful, and served just right. Their timing, attention, and kindness made the experience feel authentic and unforgettable. If you’re looking for the real taste of Brazil and amazing hospitality, this is the place. Can’t wait to come back!
Ivy and Bri were a phenomenal hosts. They made my birthday dinner all the better with their top tier service, attention to details (water, removing plates, suggestions), and their personable demeanors! Thank you, and I will definitely be back to celebrate sometime!
Ivy and Bri were absolutely amazing! We had ivy the last time we were here and it was just as amazing. She was very attentive and Bri made sure out water glasses never emptied. We can’t wait to come back and ask for ivy and Bri again.
Dining at the Brazilian steakhouse was an unforgettable experience, made even more exceptional by our fantastic server, Natalie. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcome and taken care of, greeting us with a bright smile and genuine warmth. Her timing was impeccable—she seemed to appear right when we needed her, whether it was to refill a drink, clear a plate, or make sure we were ready for the next round of mouthwatering meats. Natalie’s knowledge of the menu and passion for the experience really stood out. She walked us through the different cuts, explained the flavors and preparation, and made sure we didn’t miss any of the must-try favorites like the perfectly seasoned picanha and tender lamb. Her enthusiasm was contagious—it made the whole meal feel lively and fun. She also handled the pace of the meal flawlessly, giving us time to enjoy each course without ever feeling rushed. By the end, we were happily full and couldn’t stop talking about how great the service was. Natalie truly elevated our evening—professional, kind, and incredibly attentive. If you’re planning a visit, do yourself a favor and ask for Natalie. She’ll make your experience absolutely perfect.
Had a reservation on Saturday. Came In and it was packed we were told they were backed up and it was going to be a while. We understood but many didn’t and this lady wearing Disney eats decided too gang up against these poor hostesses just trying to do their jobs. I think she was just making the whole thing worse especially for the hostesses who looked very young.we were seated eventually but I just felt so bad the hostesses looked exhausted. Anyways! Food and service was great I will come again give those hostesses a raise please!
We always have a wonderful experience here! This is one of our go-to restaurants for special occasions because of how amazing and consistent the overall experience is. Roger and Sam were both lovely people, one our server and the other brought around the different meat selections. They were both so kind, friendly, and inviting. I hope we get the opportunity to have them again in the future! The food here is phenomenal, the meats are all seasoned and cooked to perfection, the sides they bring out are tasty as well. The garden bar is amazing and also a great vegetarian option for those who need it.
You can't go wrong here. We've been here twice and we love it. Not only is a a great experience but the food is amazing. I've tried most of the meats and they have all be really good. The market table is also really good with a lot of options you don't get anywhere else.
I had an amazing dining experience today at Fogo de Chão. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt upscale but still warm and welcoming. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything flowed perfectly throughout the meal. The food was outstanding. The variety and quality of the meats were top-tier—each cut was cooked perfectly. The gauchos were knowledgeable and checked in often without ever feeling intrusive. The Market Table was just as impressive, offering fresh, well-prepared options that balanced the meal perfectly. What really stood out was the service. Everyone was professional, efficient, and genuinely focused on making sure we had a great experience; especially Carla, she took care of us for most of the night and made sure we were feeling great. Amazing time!
Delicious!!! Perfect amount of seasonings on the cuts of meat. Salad bar selection was plentiful and very fresh. We went for my husband’s birthday and they gave him a complimentary dessert of his choice. 5 star experience provided by an incredible staff we will be back.
Ivy and Bri were our servers and they were phenomenal! Ivy shared her favorite drinks and helped me find a delicious one. She also helped us with a unique dessert treat that was to die for. Bri was super quick to help us get our favorite meats sent our way. It was my friend's birthday dinner, and he was so happy with the incredible service. Ivy and Bri were amazing and we will definitely be back!
Ivy has not only once, but twice given us an amazing experience while dining at Fogo. She is down to earth, kind, and very attentive. She knows how to treat her table and makes sure you buy into the finer things while enjoying the comfortable vibe she brings to your table. The food was amazing and thanks to not just Ivy, but Bri as well we constantly had more than we could’ve asked for. The hot cheese and honey is a group favorite for us especially so it was nice to never feel guilty asking for more. Beyond that they both were so attentive and helped expand our likes at the table per their recommendations.
I’ve got to say, Fogo de Chão is easily one of my favorite spots when I’m looking to go all out. The meat is honestly incredible—the Picanha literally melts in your mouth—and I love that you can eat a bit of everything as the chefs walk around. Even the salad bar (the Market Table) is stacked with high-end stuff like aged cheeses and smoked salmon that you actually want to eat. The vibe is super fun, the staff is always on top of things, and those little warm cheese bread rolls are dangerously addictive. If you’re hungry and want a great night out, you really can’t beat it!
An amazing assortment of fresh veggies, fruits, meats, cheese, seafood and condiments. All the regulars plus several exotic offerings. When's the last time you saw hearts of palm? It's like the Disneyland of salad bars! Plus the savory black beans and rice with crispy bacon garnish will warm your heart and belly. Friendly service.
Sitting at the table waiting to cash out as I type this review. Great food, atmosphere and drinks (as expected). But, above all of that, the service was exquisite. Jennifer and Talise took very good care of us and we're unbelievably attentative. We felt like the only ones in the restaurant. Our drinking glasses were never empty and our plates always full. The service is what separates FOGO from their competitors. Highly recommend.
We had our company holiday party here tonight and everything was perfect! The food was nonstop and delicious. From start to finish the staff took excellent care of our entire party! Could not have asked for better service, THANK YOU GABBY and every one at FOGO for a wonderful evening!
Experience was awesome. Food was great (besides the apps) and service was okay. Our waitress kind of sucked but there were so many employees that others were able to help us. Constant meat samples coming by and always cooked well. Atmosphere was extremely busy and pretty loud. Was kind of hard to communicate.
As a devout fan of the other Brazilian churrascaria TDB I was eager to finally compare. We were very pleased with whole experience, EXCEPT the salad bar part. TDB dominates 💯. Fogo just doesn’t have the variety and not as many choices. The rest of the meal was very similar. Fabulous Picanha (my fave) and mashed potatoes. They even have the fried plantains to reset your palate between different meats. All in all, everyone felt it was a special dinner.
It is a huge space and it was very cold inside, just to make you feel less comfortable. The personnel is very distant and people who serve the meat not exactly know what you have ordered - we asked for medium, they brought the skewers of Pecanha without really correlation to what we have ordered. I was fine with the cooking and the taste - but then why to ask what we would prefer 🤷🏻♂️ The meat was tasty
A really cool experience. Servers walked around with meat options on a stick and carved right at your table. Central buffet with tons of side options that were incredible! I could have spent the entire time at the salad bar buffet and been satisfied! The meat options were so juicy and flavorful and a wide variety. It's a fun experience but expensive. Probably only something once every few years that I would consider doing Parking is literally in the same building in a garage. The entrance is right next to the restaurant entrance. They will validate parking so it is free. Do not park in another garage as they only validate their garage
Usually have a great experience, but this past Saturday was NOT a good experience. We have had a rough couple months with my mother-in-law's failing health. Saturday was my wife's 50th birthday and we just wanted to have a good dinner and try to celebrate this momentous day. My wife was REALLY wanting some chicken legs, but the first (as it turned out, the ONLY TIME) the Gaucho turned away from our table and a large group a few tables away took what was left. Also, the only meats that made it to our table were bottom and top sirloin. There was NO OTHER variety of meats that made it to our table. My wife was not eating - and when asked if something was wrong or if she was waiting for something....we stated (to MULTIPLE PEOPLE) that she wanted meat as rare as possible, and that she really wanted chicken legs. After MULTIPLE requests for chicken legs, a skewer with 2 (TWO) chicken legs was brought to our table. The legs had apparently been sitting for quite some time...they were luke-warm and EXTREMY DRY. In acknowledgement of her birthday, she was offered a dessert. She LOVES crème brulé, so that is what she ordered. The custard was not real flavorful, and was warm bordering on HOT...so it was not enjoyable; and, in fact, inedible. So, after having a very rough year, and a VERY BAD weekend...my wife BARELY ate and this dining experience RUINED her 50th birthday 'celebration'.
The food was great. All the cuts were exactly what I asked for. The beef variations are all impressive, as is the Brazilian sausage. Unfortunately, I waited well over an hour for any chicken to be brought out even though I requested it 5 or 6 times. When it did arrive, the gaucho could not scrape it off the skewer as it was that baked on! My red wine only took 30 minutes to reach me, which, judging by the chicken, was a positive result. Such a shame as it's my favourite US chain restaurant. My server seemed a little out of his depth. I feel that as a single diner, one is sometimes overlooked as the larger tables are potentially bigger tippers.
Good day fogo de chao, Please be informed that we had a reservation to celebrate my friends birthday this evening. When we got in there seems to have been a lot of chaos, with people waiting inside, and the front hallway. Even with a 6pm reservation for four, we had to wait for a few minutes and etc. quite a few people were waiting by the bar area. So when we finally gotten a table we were greeted by a very nice young lady named Dakota. She explained the whole process since it was our first time. She did an amazing job. We ordered a nice bottle of chianti Classico and two cocktails and a bottle of sparkling water. The wine took about 30 mins and our cocktail took about more than an hour to come and we had to remind the servers. We were very polite when asking but I think they must of forgotten since the table next to us who came after us had all their beverages. Overall, place was great but the service needs to be improved since we spent about $588 dollar this evening. We understand perhaps the capacity of guests are overwhelming however, I believe with our experience this evening the servers forgot about attending to their customers. We will still come back and hopefully see an improvement next time. Thank you!
Service was great! Seat location was ok, we were seated next to the waiter station so lots of banging when serving trays were stored. Asked for med/well meat and got mostly well however the meat was very good, so I didn'tmind. Rice was super crunchy, and I love black beans however their black beans were a bit mushy. Slightly disappointed but the meat selection was satisfying.
Pretty good. It was a holiday so they were very busy, but still managed to get people sat in good time and service wasn’t too slow considering the volume. Food was good, the cheese and smoked salmon on the market table was excellent and I really enjoyed the sweet potatoes. Gauchos made their way around at a decent pace and we did get to try almost everything on our visit. Main downside was I ordered the papaya cream for dessert and it didn’t come with crème de cassis or the canella pastry crisp as stated in the menu, so I just got a dish of milkshake. When I asked the server about it, she just said oh sorry we ran out. Which I wish she had said when I ordered so I could pick something else. Rather than giving me half a dessert at full price. We’d already paid at this point and I didn’t feel like going through the hassle of calling over a manager on a busy dinner shift over it. Though it was incredibly disappointing and ended the meal on a low.
Made reservations for the past Saturday November 29,2025, for 6:30 pm we arrived at 5:30 pm and was seated by 6:05. The hostesses were super friendly and very cordial. Once my wife and I were seated it all fell apart. We did not drink alcohol and noticed pretty quick our waitress was not interested in serving our table, she mainly stayed away and only serving tables that did have alcohol. I had to go around the restaurant twice to find her just for refills. Then the meats started coming and we noticed pretty quick we were not getting a choice with all of the meats, several cuts never came to our table however they did go right past us to the tables with alcohol. Just assuming the waitress made that happen to increase her tips. My wife and I come to Pittsburgh every year at Thanksgiving to visit family and we always have one date night just us, we usually choose Texas de Brazil, this year we wanted to be more downtown for shopping after dinner. This experience has shown us to stay with Texas de Brazil and just worry about shopping later. I will say the food we did get to try was amazing, we were asked at the end how everything was and we were told to hang on by another server, they would get the meats to come to our table. We never seen her again or the meats. Would not recommend this place unless you order alcohol.
Large party of family and friends gathered to celebrate my little brother's 40th birthday. As a DC resident I was looking forward to the new location and atmosphere. Didn't like either. Service upon our arrival was subpar. Upon providing my brother's name we were told there was no reservation and dismissed. It was later determined the party was listed under his fiancees name, but the initial interaction left a bad taste in our mouthes. Poor service continued at the table. Noticeably we were one of only two Black parties in the establishment and were treated as second-class citizens. Pittsburgh may be a growing tech/innovation hub, but it still gives socially stunted 1960s vibes. #DoBetter
Okay this is my only experience with this type of place So I was really excited to try it out. I got pork chops because im not into meat like my husband is, but it was not good. Flavorless, literally just plain pork, that I had to wait 25 minutes for and they just cut a few pieces off and that was it. not that I would have ate more but if you pay for something, you expect to eat it? Or take it with you? I had maybe an ounce of the pork chop I ordered and that was it. After maybe three times of my husband trying different meat they just stopped rotating to the table, literally going to every table around us. I moved the card that says to serve more multiple times, even holding it up at one point, to no avail. Our waitress was phenomenal at first, maybe 15 minutes, and then again just stopped coming to the table. It took forever to get service to get out of there. Not at all what I was expecting, unfortunately. The atmosphere was weird, we were along a wall with an overhang above us so we were in the dark, it was weird.
I’m extremely disappointed with our visit. We dressed up for a nice night out, but the atmosphere felt cheap as most other guests were dressed for a McDonald’s run. More importantly, the food was a massive letdown. For a Brazilian steakhouse, having unseasoned rice and beans is unacceptable. The meats were inconsistently cooked, mostly very fatty, and lacked any seasoning. The salad bar was honestly sad. The only saving grace was the service—the servers were very nice—but the food and atmosphere are nowhere near worth the price tag.
I rarely write reviews, but after dining here, I felt compelled to share my experience. Short review: While some servers were friendly and attentive, others were rude and inattentive. The atmosphere was enjoyable, the salad bar was mediocre at best, the proteins were average, and the desserts were decent. Overall, the price does not reflect the level of service provided. The experience felt overpriced due to the inconsistent and unsatisfying service. Long review: Our main table server was friendly and attentive, which we truly appreciated. Unfortunately, the same could not be said for several of the protein servers. There were numerous occasions when they walked past our table without stopping, even though our card was flipped to green and our plates were clearly empty. It often took around 10 minutes just to get their attention and receive a slice of meat. It’s possible that our table location played a role, as we were seated in a corner, but it consistently felt like we were being avoided by the meat servers. I’ve dined at multiple Brazilian steakhouses, and this was the first time I felt like I had to repeatedly flag down or request servers just to be served protein. As for the proteins, I tried everything offered and found them to be acceptable but nothing exceptional. The lamb, in particular, was disappointing—the overpowering flavor dominated the entire bite, making it the first time I’ve ever disliked lamb at a restaurant. The sausage was also dry and not recommended. The better and safer options were the ribeye, filet, and picanha. The open salad bar was also underwhelming. While steak is clearly the main focus, I expected more attention to detail. The Italian meats, such as prosciutto and salami, appeared dried out, as did the cheeses. The soup of the day had virtually no flavor and tasted like vegetables soaked in warm water. The rice reminded me the prepackaged microwaveable rice. Overall, the salad bar felt neglected and required more attention and effort. For desert, we ordered the cheesecake crème brûlée and the tres leches cake. Although it took about 15–20 minutes for the desserts to arrive, they ended up being one of the highlights of the evening. The cheesecake crème brûlée was well-portioned, rich without being overly sweet, and paired nicely with the berry sauce. I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something sweet to finish your meal. Overall ratings: Atmosphere: 4/5 Service: 1.25/5 Food: 2.25/5 P.S. Although we arrived at our reserved time, our table was only prepared after we checked in. If this is the case, it’s unclear what purpose the reservation serves.
First time here. Music too loud to hear wait staff. Wait staff only cared to serve birthday member of party. Drink refills didn't happen enough. Meat too rare and they wouldn't take it back to be cooked more. Only one person got dessert, rest of table was ignored. Definitely won't come back. Women's bathroom ran out of soap and only one paper towel holder had paper towels. Does not feel like I ate $60 worth of food
