Opinions de Bruegger's Bagels Pittsford
I always love the bagels, there is consistently great service, and the rewards program is a genuinely good one. Always makes my day brighter to chill with a good bagel and coffee.
Brugger's Bagels was exceptional. I was wet on a recent visit to Rochester. What a refreshing change from the bagels which are available at bagel shops in Tampa.
Brueggers has THE BEST bagels. Never a disappointment. And their breakfast sandwiches are fresh... eggs, bacon, sausage... like home made not reheated rubbery stuff.
I had never been to a bagel shop. While I was in New York, this was the only one I had the chance to go to. I have no other bagel shop to compare it to but I absolutely loved it and still think about the one meal I had there.
I drive past numerous DD and THs along a few towns to get my fulfillment of Bruegger’s Bagels! I wish they were in Canandaigua, but I suffice by driving 15 miles, to grab the best bagels around!
GREAT BAGELS. Killer deal on Wednesday. Bakers dozen for $6.99. Great staff. Happy me with my bagels. All the flavors were good.
Clean restaurant, friendly staff and you could hear hot bagels being called out by the best General Manager in all of the Rochester area Brueggers, Mikee. Always a smile and great service!
Bagels were fresh and my husband and I were able to have a sit down breakfast for less than $20.
Bruegger's Bagels is a great place to go for breakfast or lunch. I always go back at lunch for the Smoked Salmon bagel. For me, it is the absolute best sandwich.
Great location, plenty of parking and very conveniently off the 490. Great staff, very patient and helpful. Special shout out to Johnny who kept calm and helped a very rude customer with a smile on his face a few weeks ago!
Amazing food. Very friendly staff. I love bagel sandwiches with cream cheese. A million times better than Tim Hortons.
Clean and friendly. It's Bruegger's so you should know they have great bagels. That much is known so it comes down to staff, location and cleanliness. It has all three. The staff were nice, the location was convenient and the area was clean. There's plenty of room inside for at least 30 people. Not much else to say. Didn't test their WI-FI.
Stopped here on a whim (haven't been out much because of the pandemic). I was going to get my usual bagel but it occurred to me that I hadn't had a sandwich from Bruegger's in a really long time. I opted for the Leonardo Da Veggie, just because, and I was blown away by how delicious the sandwich was. Staff were great as usual and the coffee I had with the sandwich was the perfect pairing for my taste buds and hungry tummy. Keep up the awesome work Bruegger's!
I'm originally from New Jersey. The bagel reminds me very much from my neighborhood there. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted and treated very well throughout the whole experience, good leadership there.
Great little Bruegger's Bagals location, fast service and super fast every time I've used the app. Looks like they're remodeling the seating area today and it will be fresh and fantastic 😊 soon!
U B at the window is a breathe of fresh air. He has got to be the nicest fast food server I have ever dealt with. Excellent personality. Valuable employee. I love to go there for the kind service he gives out. He is going somewhere in life. Great job UB
We have frequented this location several times now, and the staff is consistently friendly and efficient! The food is always tasty too!
Great tasting bagels. Fast and great service. I got the sausage, egg, and cheese and it was great. Good value regarding price/portion.
Its Brueggers bagels... need I say more? I suppose I can if you insist... this place has the best bagels in the country... hands down. I've been to 49 states and had a bagel in well over half of them. This place always wins. Brueggers is always my first stop when I come home on leave from the military. Thank you! Ps.. The service is excellent as well and always friendly!
Met with a friendly greeting and warm smiles from staff! Positivity from staff was much appreciated!!!
I’ve grown up being a fan of Brueggers in the rochester area, but since I’ve moved into my new house in the Bushnells Basin area the basin location has especially stood out as being excellent. The staff are all friendly, polite, the one time in over a dozen that I waited longer than a couple minutes they were very apologetic and offered to make it right. Whether I’m online ordering or coming in store to pick it up, the service is ALWAYS quick and accurate. I’ve never had to wait on an online order (even though I live right around the corner which is impressive), and just this morning I walked in and ordered at the counter and it felt like I had barely sat down to wait after I ordered that they were already calling my name. 10/10 would recommend not just Brueggers but this location specifically! I can’t post a new review so I’m editing this one on June 19th! Just had yet another great experience and breakfast this morning. Got my go to siracha honey sunrise 2 egg sandwich and added a hashbrown side and classic cold brew all of which are delicious. Also wanted to shout out to the manager Sean - he’s so friendly and welcoming. He was even juggling helping man the register as well as training an employee on how to use the register/showing her around the location while still providing excellent service and effective management. Bushnells Basin Brueggers continues to operate like a well oiled machine!!
I go very seldom do to dietary restrictions but every time I go these are without a doubt the best bagels and choices of cream cheese. Thanks for the great customer service by your team
This was my first time at this location because I normally go to one closer to home but I needed something quick before work. It was a mobile order, so I was kinda of in and out. Someone told me to have a good morning on my way out AND they included a cookie with my order for free. Both of those were so unexpected and really brightened my day!
I had to run here for breakfast, I was out at home. They were so very nice to someone who arrived 5 min before opening. They also were so nice to my dog and even gave him a little turkey! Always a pleasure to have the amazing bagels they make there, service is amazing and the employees always have a smile on their face, even so early in the morning.
I come to this location of the most, they're very consistent with the food.. very polite, fast service. Excellent crew weekday and weekends mornings.. Keep making a difference from the rest of BRUGGERS
Ok Just gave Bruegges another chance today. Haven’t been back in a few years. Walked in the door and the staff said good morning, everyone behind the counter was really pleasant and cheerful. Tables are back. Totally different vibe. Glad things turned around. Nice job. Had a really bad experience last time I was here, but thought I would give it another chance. Walked in, staff were really pretty miserable. I ordered two dozen bagels and I asked them to take one out and put some spread on it and they said they couldn’t do that which was fine (always done this in the past for me). I then asked them to Just do a bagel separately and I would pay for it. I guess he didn’t hear me and when I asked again, he was really rude. “I already told you we don’t do that” not understanding I just wanted to pay for a separate bagel and cream cheese. Everyone just seems unhappy that they were there. Half of the line is cut off so you can’t see what bagels are available. I’m definitely not a Karen and I’m pretty laid-back about everything but I was so taken back by the whole experience that I left without finishing my order. What happened to this place? Used to be pretty decent but the last few times I’ve been in It’s been a really crummy experience. I went to another bagel store. They greeted me with welcome, were happy to put one of my bagels and put cream cheese on it for me, and even offered to help me carry my two dozen to the car. And regarding the response below, I gave you my details. You’ve had enough bad reviews talking about Service and I think you guys need to figure out how to get your act together before you lose even more customers. The place was empty when I was there….
12.08.2024-Breakfast, solo. I had not been recently, since some past “gloomy” experiences. Nicely renovated (?) spacious, clean, friendly cashier being goofy, but efficient and… The Farmhouse! OMG, THA FARMHOUSE! Phenomenal featured sandwich. The building needs a sign on its north side, or it’s easy to miss. I missed seeing some table or a few, where (IE) cyclists can gather around after a Sunday ride. Or girls soccer team after a game. Or book club, whatever.
This Brueggers has an amazing staff! Every time i go there, I get someone extremely pleasant at the drive through window. They are even quick about getting orders out! The only reason I can’t give this place 5 stars is because of the drivethrough setup. It is really hard to understand where youre going and who can go which way. It’s almost like an accident waiting to happen, but the staff can’t change that! So 5 stars on staff and service!
Getting dine in back would be huge. The everything baggle was as salty as a horse or dear lick. Your location sits right between retail and construction. Inside seating would benifit your location for workers that need a spot to have a bite and kill time. I know it's corporate but you are on the border of 3 counties. It's time to look at your demographic not corprate
Bagels were delicious. Had a bacon egg & cheese on a plain bagel and a plain with onion and chive. The house blend coffee was so so and plenty hot
Breakfast sandwiches are good. I got the egg and cheese on a sesame. Indoor seating isn't available. There are tables outside.
Good service and very friendly staff! There have been a few times I've gone later in the morning and they're out of a few varieties of bagels though, so arrive early!
Not great coffee bagel was good pretty pricey
If they haven't run out of my cinnamon sugar bagels, I enjoy having them. I called ahead one day to see if they had any, and she said that she would hold two aside for me, which I thought was very sweet. Really good bagels!
Bagels and Sandwiches Great .. Staff little to be desired. I stopped counting how many times they have either got my order wrong or I am missing something when I go thru the drive thru. And to top it off when I do bring up the fact that they got my order wrong they act as though they can't be bothered. The staff does not listen when you are ordering they will even get your order wrong when you are standing in line. If it wasn't for how good the bagels and sandwiches are I would look elsewhere to spend my money.
One of my favorite breakfast stops. The everything bagel is really good. Add egg, chedder and ham, I have myself a good start to my morning. I don't drink coffee but I noticed they had a good selection. Bagels available by bakers dozen and they sell their cream cheese in containers. Great for the office. I get a Nantucket Nectors cranberry juice. They have a nice selection of juices also. The staff is very friendly at both Victor and Webster.
Came by for a quick coffee and breakfast at this casual spot. Line was long and didn’t seem very efficient especially since there were a lot of people working. We waited a long time but the order was up quickly which was a plus. We ordered a hot coffee, iced coffee and cinnamon raisin bagel with butter. I am told the hot coffee and bagel were good. I will say that I noticed that the bagel was burnt and there was butter leaking all over. Not easy to eat if you are driving. Iced coffee was meh. Tasted like water. The gentleman who took our order had a bit of an attitude.
Food was good that I'm over order so I didn't even have to talk to anybody it was ready when I got there grabbed it off the shelf and left
Hi guys, this place needs to figure out what they are doing. The inside is closed for dining. But thats awkward b/c there is so much empty space you are not allowed to eat in. The girls working were pleasant. Not overly so, but also not rude at all which was appreciated. The food was very good. They just need to decide if its going to be drive through only or move to a smaller location. It currently looks a little like when you go to a mall thats not doing well and its just lots of empty space.
Food was very good but wanted to add ketchup and pepper to my drive thru sandwich. I was told they only had packets and I was fine with that, but after I received my food and left Bruegger's, I never received any packets of anything. Really put a damper on the overall experience.
I love the bagels there! The staff was incredibly rude (especially Drew). They were out of cream and the place looked a mess. Such a shame because the bagels are soo good. Maybe train your staff to smile and fake it more.
Their specialty is definitely bagels. The sandwiches were delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. The coffee... Left a lot to be desired and was quickly tossed- undrinkable.
Enjoyed meeting friends inside for a breakfast - take out model only took that away - found other places.
Dining area is closed and in disarray. Asked the staff about it they said has been since covid. My favorite bagel short on raisins. The cash out process asks for a tip first thing(even at the drive through) before you even get your order. Staff seemed friendly. Meh
I called ahead to order a dozen pumpernickel bagels. I was told to come by to pick them up in 20 minutes. When I arrived, a bag of bagels was waiting for me behind the counter. When I brought the bag home and opened it up, I saw that most of the bagels were burnt on the outside and raw in the middle. The lesson I learned is to open the bag and inspect the bagels before leaving the store so that I can refuse uncooked bagels. I suggest you do the same when buying bagels from this store.
I go here pretty regularly and don't usually have issues. As far as the food quality goes, it's great. My favorite place for breakfast. It was a little weird that the girl at the counter insisted on customers having the cream cheese on the side in a small container, because the bagel was apparently too hot. Today, my bagel and cream cheese took almost ten minutes. One of the employees was really helpful and apologetic and got me on my way, which was nice.
I got a one egg breakfast sandwich. It was ok. The egg was premade and when I asked about toasting the bagel, they didn’t offer that. Just putting it in a warmer. I’ve had excellent breakfast sandwiches before, and this felt like the fast food version.
Eh, not the best, not the worst. Staff are friendly and that's truly great, but there are items still listed on the menu that aren't carried anymore (not just out of stock for the day), and the food itself is mediocre. The sandwiches, for example, don't come toasted, so they're cold (even the bacon on a BLT comes chilled!) and super chewy, which is not awesome and kind of sad, especially since this is one of the few places nearby where non-breakfast sandwiches can be ordered before lunch (so not every morning has to be something-egg-and-cheese-- a huge, huge potential positive if the food were good). So, basically, my advice is to stop in for a coffee if desired, but for breakfast, find a different spot.
Normally I would rate this place a 5' but I answered a survey to get 3 free bagels with another purchase... cream cheese not included. I inquired when I walked in about "the deal". I then ordered 3 bagel with cream cheese under the assumption that the cream cheese would be the purchase. I also had 2 chocolate milks. Upon checkout I was then told that the free bagels had to be in a bag with no spreads. That I couldn't purchase the spreads. I should have walked out and left them sitting on the 3 they made up. Shame on them for not trying to work with me when I was told something different when I entered. Guess I'll go to Dunkin across the street.
Its like going to a gas station dunkin. Over priced fast food. People used to rave about this place back in the day. Definitely nothing to rave over now. :/
The Double-Stack sandwich was good, but $8.29 is a hefty ask. The bagel, albeit also pricey, was enjoyable. -The (large) chocolate cold brew coffee was pretty good. The large cup is more like a medium when compared to other stores. I also feel it was filled with too much ice to justify the $5 price (around half-full of ice). Felt like it was gone in just a few good sips. -The employees were very friendly, though service once I got to the window seemed a bit slow considering I was the only vehicle in the drive at the time, but overall not a negative experience:) -I am personally not a fan of the card machine asking for a tip, as I am definitely not one to spend this much money on a meal, normally. I am a firm believer that a barista/employee at a place like this, or any establishment, should not be dependent on tips for a living wage. (Not saying they *are* reliant on tips here, as I cannot confirm if that is the case, I am just usually under the impression that any place with a built-in tip screen doesn't have great pay) - Overall a strong 3/5, would be a 4 without the mandatory tip-or-don't-tip screen that tries guilting you into tipping after spending nearly $20 at a bagel/coffee shop.
Not the Bruegger's Bagels I remember. My everything bagel was smaller than it used to be and had half the seasoning kernels on it. The large Coke container was filler to the rim with ice cubes - thus very little Coke. The server asked me to repeat my order 3 times because she wasn't paying attention. Maybe I'll try another store to see if the scale-back of quality is fanchise wide.
Food was decent, but some serious work needs to be done on the customer experience. It was somehow impossible to sub iced tea for a soft drink in the combo, and the cole slaw amount was enough to fit in a single spoonful.
Frustrated because the last 3 times I’ve been here I ask for extra cream cheese and do not get it. I’m assuming I pay for it because the cost of my plain bagel with extra cream cheese today was $5.82 ! Dissatisfied for sure
3rd, and last time dining here in the last year. The food, pricing, and particularly the demeanor of the bar staff are lacking.
Love Bruegger’s Bagels, this location is frequently problematic though. The staff inside is friendly, but their dining room has been closed since 2020 and it is disappointing that it never reopened, they often run low on bagels, and many times the ones they have are overcooked. But what drove me to write this review was a recent experience where my elderly father visited, found the location was drive thru only for the day so drove up the awkwardly shaped drive thru, waited patiently for about 10 cars ahead, and when he got to the window, because he is hard of hearing and couldn’t use the intercom, he was FLAT OUT TOLD NO you can’t order at the window (for a simple order of a dozen unprepared bagels, no prep work). Well worth the short drive up the road to the Perinton location.
What happened? Bruegger’s WAS a quality experience. The tables were all dirty. When I asked to have a table clean they did it but begrudgingly. The cashier was rude. The floor was dirty and the material pealing. Sad😔
I had a frustrating experience at a recent visit. I order a bagel with peanut butter just to find out they didn’t spread it for me and made me do it myself. If i knew this was the case i would’ve saved my money and just used my own peanut butter instead of spending that extra dollar. To top it off they have the audacity to give me the option for a tip at the drive thru. Nobody tips at mcdonald’s why would anyone at bruggers.
I always look forward to having Bruegger’s as soon as I get back home to Rochester. Lately I have been more and more disappointed and after today’s experience I don’t know if I will ever go back. The everything bagel did not have nearly enough everything seasoning, it was not toasted even though I asked for it to be, and there was hardly enough cream cheese for half a bagel (it was not spread at all just plopped in the middle). Very disappointing Bruegger’s, you can do better.
Under baked bagels, filthy dining room and bathrooms (no check list), service wasn't great but relative to food and facilities... The staff spent half the time we were in there yapping at each.
Staff was not friendly or helpful. Store was not very well kept. Had to ask for knives and staff seemed put out to help. Didn't receive keep fresh bags. We thought the bagels were okay until we went to another location two days later and realized then that their bagels weren't as great. We also paid more at this location for a baker's dozen with 2 cream cheese. Visited both locations around 8am. Decided we won't visit this location again and will stick with the other that is just as easy to get to.
Hi, There was no reply button for the review, hence editing the current review to provide an answer to your comments. First, thanks for being prompt and acknowledging it. However, sadly when I go to the link and try to find this location by going to NY and then cities it does not show Pittsford or Victor or Rochester. Hence, I could not submit the form. However, below is my perspective of events - I visited the drive thru on 4/5, Friday around 10:40 am. Me and my two kids were ordering and since it had been sometime from our last visit, we were unable to locate the types of bagels. So I asked the person at the speaker booth if she could provide some options and her response was "its on the board". I understand that I need to read carefully but the tone and way it was delivered felt dismissive. I thought may be it is just me but my kids also confirmed that the delivery of the message was rude. When we reached the window to pay and receive our order, she had the extension thing for the credit card but it was a bit far and she was again the dismissive "oh this is the maximum it can go". I equate you guys to a high end food provider such as say a Chick Fil A, I pay a higher price not just for food but also the service. Finally, I was clear I did not want to leave a tip - firstly since it is a drive thru so in my mind the worker has not done anything extra and secondly the behavior, but there was no such option. When, I left the minimum possible which was $1, there was again some audible non positive sounds as though it is her right to get a tip and a higher one. All in all, I can expect this kind of behavior from some cheap fast food joints but you guys are a class act and this was not classy. May be the workers could get some customer training before they handle customers or if they got one may be it could be revisited to refresh it. Anyways, thanks for reaching out. Hope it gets better at your location. Reminded me of the place where you pay and the servers and cashiers get paid to treat you rudely. Asked cashier some question when in Drive thru she says is on the board. There is no option with no tip, it felt like I was forced to tip - I mean I am doing a drive thru tip for what? Plus she was rude. Food was good but will take a lot of convincing or if I am really hungry to get me to go there again.
This place is so gross that my daughter did not want to eat a prepared bagel. We just got a dozen to take home for the freezer. The doors to the bathroom have caked on dirt from years of fingerprints. The bathroom. Someone had taken a big poop and it had all hardened and dried inside the rim all the way up to the top. The floor was disgusting. They had simply mopped dirt and deposited it behind the toilet. It looks like it hadn't been swept or vacuumed in a week. It was so gross.
Been to this location on three seperate instances. Every instance I’ve ordered the western brisket without chipotle mayo (bc of my egg allergy), but have been given the exact opposite. I’ve been to other bruegger’s locations and have never encountered consistently wrong orders. I normally don’t write reviews but it is extremely frustrating to see the same error occur. I am also well aware that things can get hectic when ordering via drive thru, but felt necessary to address the lack of attention that is paid when preparing the orders.
Worst Brueggers experience of my life! Cashier and sandwich maker had me standing in the wrong spot for about 5 minutes. Hey! Could have told me, “Sir, you order over there!” No. Had me standing there like an idiot. Everything was dirty. Only reason I left 2 stars is because the food is always good..
This location is the worst one, go to the Perinton one. Had a nasty hash brown bagel (literally covered in pepper and mushy and brown) , tried going in for a replacement but was told that they would all look like that… that’s fine… went to Perinton location and showed manager my bagel in hopes to get it remade there instead and he was so appalled he took a picture. He remade my bagel and made the moment right . This Bushnell’s basin location needs better management I think.
I was disappointed with my recent visit. The cashier interaction felt cold and unfriendly — no “please,” no “thank you,” and very little basic customer courtesy. It made the experience uncomfortable from the start. After I completed my payment (and chose not to leave a tip due to the lack of service), the cashier appeared visibly upset, which only reinforced the awkwardness. On top of that, the driveway/parking lot area is in very rough condition. It’s uneven and poorly maintained, which makes entering and exiting the property frustrating and potentially damaging to vehicles.
Went there this morning about 10:30-11am and saw 4 people behind the counter…was appalled by every single table being filthy! We cleaned our booth on our own. But about 10 minutes later there was no one in line and the staff behind the counters were just chitchatting with each other. My friend and my husband used the restroom and reported how filthy they were so I didn’t use them. Our friend ordered a bagel with cream cheese but received a bagel drowned in butter and no cream cheese. Won’t visit again. I guess they don’t need the business of those that are picky about cleanliness. I am considering contacting the health department.
The guy at window today at 9 am grey hair and tattoo on his left arm and ring finger was so disrespectful and extremely unprofessional. I asked for buitree which I got two weeks ago when I order 2 dozen for my crew and his response was nope can’t do that. I stated why not you did two weeks ago. His response well to bad your not getting today. Complete pc of garbage for treating a long time patron. Not anymore. It’s to bad I won’t hear anything from his boss etc. Cause they don’t care about when a customer gets treated by their employee or management.
They couldnt hear me through the drive through and i was yelling so they could hear me, and then THEY gave ME attitude! i repeted my order 5 times and and they still got it wrong! they asked me at the window what i had ordered as well and STILL got it wrong! They used as little cream cheese as possible, didnt even cover half the bagel! refrigerated drinks were warm. Worst customer service i have ever had.
I Was very disappointed with the food , I had hyped up the place to a group of my friends and we had decided to go and grab a bagel . The customer service was terrible, they had ran out of lettuce , there was a lack of communication. The bagels did not have any flavor and I was very dissatisfied with the experience over all. The sandwiches did not have enough ingredients and it was not pleasant at all. We had to wait extra time for our food . Won’t be coming here again
We went and the same person who made the bagels 🥯 was just cleaning 🧼 the bathroom 🚽 and did not wash their hands and the employees were very rude and clearly did not enjoy their job and the bagels were not very good. I would not go here your local McDonald’s is better than this
wow, dirty, no indoor seating but much empty space. Basic food at a high price. Have never been more disappointed in a restaurant
Obviously not a real bagel place. They don’t have cream cheese and lox spread.
I am a regular customer and live in the Basin area. Waited in line for fifteen minutes and told they could only accept cash. I did not have cash and there response was essentially that is your problem. I explained that I had waited 15 minutes. You figure they would offer something for my wasted time. They never Made Any attempt to let people know so they could get out of line. Last time I ever go there.
First time at this location and the last. Ordered in the drive threw. The attendant was rude and unenthusiastic over the microphone. Drove up to the window and waited nearly 20 minutes for a cashier to open the window and take my payment. If I wasn’t picking up a late lunch for Business associate besides my own, I would have driven off! The male cashier was lacking in professionalism, they messed up my order and bagels were wet. Worst location I’ve ever been at.
My husband and I really love Bruegger’s bagels and go to the Bushnell’s Basin location often, however almost every single time we go, our order is not correct- especially in the drive- thru. Either it’s the wrong bagel, something is omitted or it’s not the coffee we ordered. We thought things would change but we are continually disappointed by getting the incorrect order. Possibly the process of ordering needs to change, such as reading back what a customer orders to ensure it’s correct to avoid the continual mistakes. We are hoping to provide this feedback to make a better experience for all customers.
Terrible operation. Cinnamon sugar bagel tasted like garlic because they don’t wipe down surfaces and change utensils between orders. 3 of 5 coffee dispensers were empty leaving only decaf. No apology from the staff for any of it.
Floors were dirty and we stopped in at 1230 and they barely had any bagels because they were closing soon ..at 2:00
Terrible experience, manager has been rude more than once. Asked for something on the menu that I order from all other brueggers and said that it’s too difficult. Tried reaching out to corporate email with no response and local DM also no response. It’s unfortunate that business need to keep rude employees. Brueggers used to be something different and a great alternative to breakfast. They must have gotten rid of training manuals at that location because now when I go into the Basin need to take the time to explain to management how to make a bagel. Very disappointing. Been waiting 3 weeks to hear back from their customer service department. Must be more important to look like they are taking care of a problem than to actually address it.
Customer service here is atrocious. Very off putting and they never have pick up orders ready on time.
My bagels are always covered with the order before hand because they don’t wipe the counters or change utensils. It makes the bagel taste completely different- like onion or garlic, and there’s gross pieces of different ingredients that don’t belong on the bagel stuck to the outside or in the cream cheese. The service is also not that friendly or genuine, the workers have a lot of sass and an attitude problem.
Service doesn’t deserve anything other than firing HER!! RUDE BEYOND COMPREHENSION!!! I was on my way to say hello to a new referral office and wanted to take a little treat. I asked for 10 assorted bagels. “ we only sell them by the dozen.” Really? “ ok… that’s fine.” “ 13 …. What do you want?” I said “ you just said a dozen, that’s 12” too much to type but if they have cameras, she hopefully does NOT have a job there. She should not be around living things….
---THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS EFFECTIVELY FORCING CUSTOMERS INTO GIVING A TIP AT THE DRIVE THROUGH WINDOW -- (perhaps intentionally!) On 8/17/2024, I visited the drive-through of the Bushnell's Basin Brueggers. This business uses a "P.O.S." on a stick - the employee reaches out the drive through and has the customers insert their credit card into a P.O.S. mounted on a pole. Upon paying, I was essentially forced into either giving a $1/$2/$3/$4 tip. There was no $0 tip option. One would assume that the "no tip" option might be the "red x" typically found at the bottom of the keypad. However, the entire keypad had been intentionally covered up by a post it note, which had been reinforced in place with clear tape. Nobody wants to be the guy who has to ask how they can "leave no tip." You guys know what you are doing, and you get this nice 1 Star review as a result. Pay your employees.
Worst experience I received and would stay away from this location. Went to drive thru and ordered 4 sandwiches for $39. When I got to the window I asked to add on two bagels and she said no. I found it funny because I had to wait for 12 minutes for my order. In addition she was extremely rude placing my order. Contacted their corporate to let them know how poor the service was never to get back a response.
Listen, I’m never coming back to this location again. Cashier could hardly talk and basically hated her job and very miserable person. She left a very bad taste in my mouth. Not only that we paid 12 dollars and couldn’t even sit inside to eat when there was clearly someone sitting in the dining room. Don’t come to this location unless you want your money robbed. Food has changed too a lot.
This place has declined rapidly in service. I bought and paid for bagels then was told they didn't have that flavor. Crew members are always just standing around on phones or talking. I don't get it. But I am done going here.
Disappointed and disgusted. While the new cashier was very pleasant, she handled the situation poorly. After forgetting my coffee cup, she dug through the trash to retrieve my receipt to verify the purchase, which was extremely unsanitary. A team lead, trainer, or manager should have immediately had her wash her hands before continuing to handle anything else. Instead, she was simply told where to find receipts on the computer when they saw her digging in the garbage. Completely unsanitary and unacceptable. Also, one of the coffees I asked for was iced coffee and the same manager/trainer told me it will be $1 per pump of Carmel, since I didn’t order a cold brew and in a very snarky demeanor! Will not visit this location again. Managers, trainers, leads need to take a training class in how to interact with customers along with taking food and safety courses.
Bruegger's is usually awesome. First time going to this location. Got a Bacon 2 egg and cheese - they gave me raw bacon and burned eggs. I threw it out and went to Tom Wahl's. Will avoid this location in the future.
I ordered a sandwich on the app so I can get a reward through the app. I asked at the speaker box if I could add cream cheese to sandwich, the lady told me since I already paid through the app, I can’t add it on after. I told them I could pay for the cream cheese and they refused. I have done this at so many other locations with no problem. Terrible attitude…
I used to enjoy the bagels here, but the quality has gone down-they don’t taste as fresh as before.
Stopped at this location at 12:30 pm to order lunch. There were 3 staff members standing at the counter, but we had to wait for quite some time for someone to take our order. We were then told most of the bagels weren't avaliable: plain, everything, parmesean reason being, the cashier told us, they were almost closed. We felt bad and said for coming late. Asked what time they closed and were told 2pm. So about 1.5 hour. They seriously were not going to put more bagels out, but they were there. It was lunch time. Then I saw staff opening boxes and getting more bagels out. Sounds to like staff just wanted to be done. Don't have a lunch menu if you don't want to serve anything 12 pm-2pm. Bagels were dry, not good. Totally not worth Mt $30.
I have NEVER walked into a facility that serves food that was sooo dirty. This was 8:00am and the floors looked like they haven’t been mopped let alone even swept in weeks. It made me want to turn around and walk back out because how dirty this place was. I have no idea how this is acceptable. If cleanliness was being rated there should be negative values.
Honestly wouldnt know you were in pittsford basin and thought the city. The service is as slow as can be, all the young staff sit there and gossips so loud. Witnessed 2 younger staff working the line talk so bad about the younger guy working the register. They were more concerned about talking and goofing around than anything. Waited almost 30 minutes just to get 2 sandwiches with no one in the drive through and only like 7 people in the dinning room. The coffee counter was disgusting and doesnt look they have ever cleaned recently. All the staff had at least one AirPod in and had to ask over and over what we even said. Lacking management and and purely just felt like I was in a high school cafeteria.
