This is my favorite Pontillo's pizzaria in Rochester. The way they make their chicken wing pizza! It's always the same PERFECT. Plus I can get a pittsford dairy chocolate milk, while I'm there.

This pizza is what pizza should always be. They use one of the brick oven thing's here, so that is why it is delicious, probably.

Best chicken finger sub in Rochester. Starts with some really good bread, buffalo chicken tenders, blue cheese, lettuce, Moz cheese, then grilled to finish it off.

I love the pizza here, always cooked correctly. The pepperoni is crispy and the dough is cooked all the way through. The staff has always been polite and fast with any of my orders. Great place for a fast in an out lunch. Great job!

Pizza is reasonably priced and average in taste. They have indoor and outdoor sitting. My husband ordered a steak sub. He said that it is not as good as other steak subs in our area. Bathroom is clean. They do not have ice.

Good Pizza, been going there for years. Subs and salads are decent, however avoid the wings, they always seem to come out a bit underdone.

If you are looking for a cheap lunch, they have a great lunchtime deal on 2 slices and a drink for 5 bucks. They have good quality pizza at a good price.

Classic New York quality pizza. It's a decent price and you get good pizza. Hughes slices for cheap! You get what you see.

The Basin Pontillos is better. This was pretty salty. Better than lots of others, though.

Decent place. Ordered a turkey sub and a salad from here and was satisfied with their food. Salad was large pieces of iceberg (some leaves too big) and some tomato, cucumber and onion. Some of the iceberg had brown edges. Ken's prepackaged dressing and plasric utensils came with it. The sub was not toasted bit was very flaky and didn't seem the freshest but was not moldy in any way. Just didn't seem as fresh as other sub rolls I've had. The sub ingredients were good and tasted fresh. I asked for lettuce, onion and tomato and only found 1 slice of tomato on the sub. Almost as if they started adding tomato and either ran out or just figured giving more than one slice was not cost effective for them . Overall, it was "okay". Nothing spectacular but nothing so negative I would stay away from it. I know subs and salad aren't always the priority choice from a pizzeria but I figure if it's on the menu, it should be quality if you are selling it.

I would recommend ordering from a different pontillos, like Bushnells Basin or others- The pizza was cold and undercooked when it arrived. Wings weren't cooked as requested either, they forgot part of the order and just offered a credit for the next order instead of a refund for the forgotten items. Unfortunately I don't think I'll place another order here. Also, not cheap so not a great value for the quality you receive.

The pizza is ok but the their customer service is terrible. I ordered a pizza and when I went to pick it up, it was $3 more than was listed on their website. I was told “oh, our prices changed a while ago but they haven’t updated the website” and they would not honor the price online.

There was this grumpy old man, who was VERY rude to me. I simply asked if we had all of our meal, and he responded in a very snarky manner. RUDE. But the food is delish.

Unfortunately, the pizza was sub-par. We ordered a cheese pizza and garlic bread, trying Pontillo's for the first time. The dough tasted like it was pre-frozen and the cheese tasted like pre-bagged mozzarella you purchase at the store. Completely overpriced compared to the quality of food.. We are newer to the area and wanted to try a new pizza place. I hope they will take this review and upgrade the quality of the products instead of taking it as only negative criticism.

When I got home and started eating it, i noticed the dough was raw. It was a very thick crust and not properly cooked. The quality has gone downhill lately with the young staff. Do not recommend until they get an older/more experienced manager to run the place. Go to the basin pontillos instead, it's much better and it's only a few miles down the road.

Horrible service, very slow, run by teenagers that have no idea of time management. Long wait for 1 pie even though nothing else at all was even going on. And seriously who puts green peppers on a “Hawaiian”…?

Three times I have ordered from here and it's been messed up everytime. I dont understand how hard it is to get an order correct. Will never buy from here again nor will I recommend it.

Buyer beware. Never have I ever in my life gotten food poisoning from a pizza place! Buyers beware it is now day 3 of being the sickest I’ve ever been and the last thing I ate was at this pizza place. I will never eat from this place and any others ever. The customer service in this place was awful along with their pizza. I was told 20 to 25 minutes and waited for an hour so that means when I arrived to pick up my pizza they had not even put it in the oven. So they decided to slop something together that was disgusting and when I complained to the manager jon he really didn't care or offer to solve the problem and was rude. Purchased last night. It was the worst pizza ever! Had two toppings, very little to be seen, all the cheese was in the center, ate about a three in radius and threw out the rest, crust.

They are always out of slices. Aa the pizza place of the village, you would think they would always have slices available. I've been there on multiple occasions, mostly on the weekend, and they are out of slices well before 8pm.

Tried to get a turkey sub at lunch time, they couldn't make it. Tried to get a Julien salad, couldn't make that either. Apparently they don't stock supplies so that customers can order what they have on the menu. Won't be returning.

The Pizza is always over or under cooked and the people working there are definitely cooked. Also $11 for 2 slices with a 16 oz drink. I'm done with this place.

I ordered a large pizza and two boxes of wings, both boxes of wings were grossly undercooked and the pizza had a long hair literally baked into it - across multiple slices. I called to let them know and while the first person to answer seemed apologetic - the manager that came on next simple responded with "whoops, that's not good, thanks" and hung up the phone. We've been fans of Pontillo's for over a decade, and I wasn't expecting anything from them other than maybe a little more concern/politeness from the manager.
