Opinions de Texas Kabob House Plano
We ordered a full tray of beef biryani and zarda (sweet rice) a few days ago. A full tray feeds 15-18 people if there are appetizers. This was a surprisingly good meal for us and everyone at our party was impressed. The taste was authentic and custom made to our specifications and liking. I highly recommend this place. It’s a gem amongst a crowded South Asian food restaurants.
Tried their Ramadan buffet and it was phenomenal. Customer Service was awesome and they have so many food items for very reasonable price . Each and every single are refilled fresh. Absolutely amazing 💕
We had absolutely delicious food at Dallas Kebob House. Everything was fresh and full of flavor! The portion size was generous, and the quality was outstanding. Great experience overall! 10/10
3.9/5 is not doing justice at least in 2026. Amazing Pakistani food. People from Pakistan cannot give 3.9, it's for sure 5. I was mislead by google ratings but once I tried, I do not believe google anymore.
We loved this place, the food was amazing, felt like home. Each dish was amazing and the owners served us hot dishes with all our requests. From appetizer to main course to beverages. The spices were so different and mouthwatering. Must go to this place. Very welcoming . We would have gone up on the rating if we could.
I love the food at Dallas Kabob House. I ordered catering for 50 folks with 6 different dishes, beef pilau, chicken shinwari, goat kadhai, chicken biryani, a full tray of samosas, and chicken tikka. I had both desi and Americans gathering and it was remarkably amazing food. Oh I forgot the chai was also phenomenal. I highly recommend it. Also I can't forget to mention here tge timely and courteous service Akhtar provided.
The food we had here was absolutely phenomenal! The naan and Shinwari Chicken Karahi was so delicious and with the amazing service it felt like you were eating with your family back home. My father also loved the Chicken Seekh kabab and the Beef Nihari. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to try authentic Pakistani food 🇵🇰
After 28yrs of living in USA .. first amazing Pakistani karahi place... Real fresh .. took me back to Lahore memories .. amazing owners.. may Allah bless them and their efforts.. My daughter asked how does food in Pakistan taste , today I told them girl like Dallas kabab house.. They will be seeing a lot of us insha Allah
I have a very positive experience with this place . The owner is a very kind man . I was on my way to a gathering and wanted dessert to take with me . Now i very well knew that i hadn’t order anything in advance so my chances of getting any dessert in a big quantity for a party was nearly impossible. But the owner was kind enough to accommodate my request and made me a half tray of a delicious mango dessert from his buffet food. I highly recommend this place for that mango dessert, flavorful kabobs and the weekend breakfast and brunch .

I am New to Texas and tried few options but Dallas Kabob House is best among all I tried. Food is always fresh and delicious only issue is they take some time because they claim they make everything fresh! So I would recommend call them ahead and order over the phone! Apart from delay its outstandingly delicious I would highly recommend,,.
Dallas Kabob House is a Pakistani restaurant where every dish is made to order. We’ve lived in Plano over 20 years and noticed this restaurant but never stopped in until this evening. We ordered the chicken seekh kabob and beef seekh kabob to go. Bread no longer comes with the entrees due to high prices so we ordered two pieces of naan separately. The naan was so good! As the menu says, the grilled dishes are prepared with fresh minced meat marinated in fresh grated spices and seasonings, molded on skewers, grilled to perfection and served over crisp chopped lettuce and onion with tamarind chutney and Raita. The meat dishes were spicy, flavorful, and as the menu says “grilled to perfection”. The young man who waited on us was a delight. He wanted us to get the most of our meal. He told us how to reheat leftover naan and the grilled meat. He asked us to smell the aroma of our dishes so that we know they were freshly prepared. He emphasized that nothing is prepared ahead of time. The restaurant features a buffet on Sundays between noon and 3. All dishes are prepared only when needed; again, nothing is prepared ahead of time. He urged us to come back for the Sunday buffet to try more dishes. We will return!
Came here looking for some authentic Indian- Pakistani food and that’s exactly what we found. Had the chicken karahi which was absolutely delicious, the chicken was soft and full of flavor. Naan was soft and fresh. Also had the gaajar halwa and kulfi, which were the perfect way to end the meal. Will definitely go back!
I’ve never been here before, but I’m glad I no longer have to search for the best Pakistani restaurant in Dallas Texas! Best mango lassi around! Kitchen closes at 10:15, so be respectful. Wonderful owner made me feel right at home. Will definitely be back and will broadcast this place to my family & friends!
First time here and im so happy we have finally found a go-to place for our favorite dishes!! The owner is the kindest man!! Made us feel like family. The food is delicious and flavorful. The Nihari was sooo good and the meat was perfectly tender. The naan is huge and tasty! Butter chicken was delicious and the perfect color! Never seen a place with the perfect color on their butter chicken. Very impressive. The chicken biryani was so good and had nice big aloo pieces in it! Finished off with delicious fresh juicy gulab jamun- best I’ve had in Dallas. Glad we gave this place a try and listened to the other reviews. We will be back very soon :)
Super friendly service and the food was amazing. We had the mixed.grill which was phenomenal. Went back recently and it was even more amazing, we.had a larger group so we were able to order a lot more dishes. The food is absolutely delicious, every dish was so rich in flavor and the kabob is best I've ever had. One of my top 10 favorite restaurants. During these hard times we need to support locally owned restaurants like this PHENOMENAL establishment.
This place is under new management and they are doing a fabulous job. We went in during a packed weekend lunch. We were immediately greeted and seated shortly. Service was efficient and prompt. The menu has a wide selection of items in addition to the weekend buffet. Food was very well prepared and tasted amazing. The wait person checked on us multiple times and owner stopped by the table as well to get feedback. These folks are putting their heat and soul in to this business and it shows! One area for improvement would be to make sure that wait staff write down orders. Ours took the order without writing and there ended being a small mix up with our order
Meant to post this a while back. Dallas Kabab House has one of the best and reasonably priced buffets in DFW. They have a good spread and the food is fresh, pure and delicious. I believe the price is only 13.99 per person which is way cheaper than the rest and carry equal or more dishes. The owner is a trained chef and he knows his food well. Go check them out!
Several people mentioned this place, that it had new owners, new menu & had been renovated. Went their with few friends & was pleasantly surprised, this place is really awesome. The food is freshly prepared (that’s why it took a bit longer to get our goat karahi) & is very authentic. We tried their special that they had listed on the board (see pic, a bit pricey but worth every penny), it was really really good. The naans (freshly baked clay oven bread) was really really good as well. A must try place, can’t wait to go back.
An amazing family owned business with remarkably delicious food and impeccable service. Syed and his wife are so passionate about their business that you can literally taste it in every bite. From the fried chicken to the halwa puri to the karahi, it is ALL finger licking delicious. Unfortunately, as many restaurants experience, the maintenance of the facility leaves a bit to be desired. But, it is clean and simple. If you are looking for ambience, this is not the place. If you are looking for food that will keep you coming back, then this IS your place. I have catered for work from DKH as well and that experience was smooth and seamless as well. Highly recommended 👌
Food is generally good at this place. Better than many other Pakistani restaurants around. However, it needs consistency as far as taste goes. A couple of times, the food didn't meet expectations like for example, no salt in seekh kabobs which made the kabobs pretty much tasteless. A little bit costly but can be relied upon.
We had iftar buffet . I will say $22.99 is not worth for ifter item and its quality . The place is very crowded and not easy to move to take food . What foods i like 1. Fruit custard 2. Pakora 3. Tea 4. Chicken curry 5. Dal 6. Chapli kabab What foods i dont like 1. Dohi bara - no salt 2. Chicken Biriyani- no meat or is it actually rice ? 3. Tandoori nan - not soft 4. Beef nihari- meat was not soft The owner was nice though
visited this place today and ordered a chai for around $3. It was served in a plastic cup. I asked the staff why they don’t use paper cups for hot drinks, as serving hot tea in plastic is not good for health. The staff member said they usually serve it this way. I was surprised by this response. When I spoke to the manager, he was quite rude. Later, I overheard him telling the staff to give me the “last paper cup,” which was confusing and unprofessional. I don’t understand the practice of serving hot tea in plastic cups, especially at this price. There is another Cafe D Khan nearby that serves chai in proper paper cups at a lower price with much better service. I would not recommend this place.
Came for biryani 2 weeks and it was bomb and I jsut went today and it so bad, rice tasted off and tasted like raw tomato. Nihari was good tho, naan was like eating chips, broke apart everywhere
They have the worst customer service. They have the most bizarre rule of adding $7 if you want to add extra gravy in your Karahi. Not only this rule is strange they are very rude if you confront them. Moreover, they don't have tap water. You have to buy their overly priced drink or water. They charge you for every single thing, be it chutney ot salad. They are ridiculous in every single aspect.
