We hired Buster's to cater a family gathering in our backyard and it was a wonderful and easy experience from the very beginning. Mike and Nick were very professional and friendly and absolutely everyone loved the food and raved about it. Would definitely hire them again for any future events we host and highly recommend.

My name is Larry, I have a mental health condition called Asperger's syndrome, which makes it very hard for me to interact and socialize with people, because I am deathly afraid of saying the wrong thing and alienating people. But the folks that work at Buster's took the time to understand me and now I feel like they genuinely enjoy my company, even the young owner Jeannette is a saint in my opinion for employing the types of people that she does. Even a lot of the patrons that go there for a cold libation and delicious food are very friendly! I truly feel like I have a 2nd home with Buster's and now I cannot shut up about how awesome the place is!

This place has the best fries in Plattsburgh. It also has gluten free options, like a gluten free bun or pizza crust! Excellent Sports Bar & Grill. Menu is quite varied and they offer dinner meals you don't usually see on the menu at a Bar & Grill. Very tasty and well prepared. Their beer selection is respectable with a wide varity of local and craft brews. Service is excellent and the wait staff are attentive and respectful. Will return regularly.

This place has great food. We went around dinner time and had met family that was in town. The waitress that we had was absolutely amazing. She was right on top of everything and made sure we were happy with all of our food and drinks. She def went above and beyond and did not over do it. She was extremely friendly. I didn't catch her name but I do know she said she was a chef on top of waitressing here. My son is autistic and they had brought out sensory toys for him to see if it would help calm him down. Never in my life have I ever seen this happen before. It was awesome. I highly recommend this place. The food the service just everything was perfect the night we went for dinner. Def will be going back. A++ for sure.

Good food, I'll be back to explore more of their menu. Tried a burger to be safe on first visit, was perfect. Lots of other good things on their menu, it seems. My wife said the poutine was good but the gravy just a little off, I'm sure with tweaking they'll get recipes like that solid. I'm just glad they used cheese curds and not some shredded cheese bull.

My daughter ordered a cheese quesadilla. She didn't know what pico was and that it was in the quesadilla. She realized she didn't like it. The waitress asked how everything was. I explained my daughter didn't know what pico was. The waitress took the food back and had it made without pico for her. I was never charged for the one my daughter didn't like. Even though it was her mistake and not the waitress or cook's mistake. That is outstanding customer satisfaction and service! Great job! The rest of the food was delicious.

The food is delicious, especially the burgers & poutine. The prices are affordable, the servers are attentive & friendly, and the food comes fast which is a lifesaver with 3 hungry kids at the table. Comfortable atmosphere. Decent drink specials. They offer a wide variety of meal options on the kids menu. Highly recommend!

The cheese sauce was homemade. The fries weren't, but definitely tasted as if they were! Lots of great looking things on the menu. I can't wait to come back to try other menu items!

Thank you to the server, Corey (spelling?) for your friendliness and accommodating spirit! The atmosphere was lively and friendly, and the service was prompt even while it was packed! Their BLT was absolutely delicious — the bacon itself was cooked to perfection without being greasy, the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh tasting, the bread was a gentle crisp which gave it a nice crunch, and the extra mayo was the perfect amount! The sweet potato fries with the sauce that goes with it was peak. I'd love to go again sometime soon!

Visited this bar during the total solar eclipse. Had a great experience. The bartender was very friendly and the food and drinks were delicious. I ate inside, but I also saw that there was an outdoor seating area that overlooked the river. Would definitely stop in again if I pass through town.

What can I say, I am absolutely blown away by the kindness of our waitress and the food was delicious. Our family of three have been meaning to try this place out for a while now and decided to go there last night. We were kindly greeted, seated and placed our orders. It was only after ordering our food and sitting there for a few minutes that we realized that we arrived 10 minutes before closing. We had not detected any hesitation or frustration from the staff and our only clue was that after looking around we seemed to be the only customers there. We felt absolutely terrible and mortified. When our waitress brought out our food we apologized and said she could bring us go-to containers so we could leave and she firmly said "no, you can absolutely sit here and enjoy your meal". She was so sweet and insisted we stay and relax. She even asked if we were interested in dessert at the end if the meal. Not one ounce of hurrying us along or acting like we were bothering her. AND the food was delicious! We will definitely be going back and will make sure it will be WELL before closing time. Kudos to Busters!

Had burgers and fries, burgers were amazing and hot, the type of fries are great but was ice cold when we got it, They did cook us more!

Came last week for a burger, the Texas burger. That was really good. My buddy got the poutine which wasn't really up to par at all, not a lot of fries and too much gravy...... Tonight I grabbed the hot honey buffalo zing mac n cheese. This was really good flavor, I will be back to try more food. Poutine could use some work is my only complaint

Had an excellent dining experience here. Had drinks and ate outside in beautiful weather. DOWNFALL, one specific waitress messed up the entire experience by ignoring us for over1/2 hr. Didn't check on us at all, had to go get her to pay our bill. We could have walked out and none would have known the better. UPSIDE food was DELICIOUS, Zings are awesome!!

My girlfriend goes here for trivia. Everything is great. The food is reasonable bar food. Perfectly OK just not my favorite. What should I expect for a place where you can have a blast at very low cost?

EDIT 3/15/24: Decided to go back after hearing they have new ownership. Like I said before, it was my favorite place. Of course this doesn't include Clare and Carls. This time it was like it used to be. Faster service, and good size portions. I'll be returning soon. So Busters was my favorite place in Plattsburgh. I really like The Mayweather Burger. I noticed a time or two ago, the portions getting smaller, that happens, the economy is tough right now.But this last visit was terrible. We were seated and our drink order was taken. 10 minutes later a water was delivered but no other drinks. Waitress said she would be right back with our drinks. She never returned. We waited another 15 minutes then left. We were there 30 minutes and were seated and gave drink orders, nothing else. Its too bad , they have good food but the service this time was terrible. Maybe they need more staff and can't find them? I would be more understanding if they were real busy but they were not. A few people inside and a few outback. I'm very disappointed, time to find a new favorite restaurant I guess.

Good beer. Tried the Juice Bomb and enjoyed it. Lots of food per order, so if you leave here hungry, that's on you. Zing sub, or any hot sub for that matter, is gigantic and super tasty! The Reuben sandwich is definitely recommended as a safe choice for all around taste and structure. The taco salad is large, but it would be better with the taco bowl instead of 8 tortilla chips around the edge. The taco sauce is nice and thick and a good medium heat. I would have liked guacamole.

The food wasn't that good. Our waitress was great and the atmosphere was fun, but the food wasn't good. A meat on a Ruben should b shaved and not thick. Plus, the meet was so fatty that when taking a bite, all of it came out of the sandwich.

Great menu and beer selection. Food we had was very good. Atmosphere needs improvement as upper room was lit like a cafeteria. Was there on a Sunday and half of the TVs had the blank Direct TV screen instead of a game on the entire time. Oh yeah and really bad music playing in the background the entire time as well. Really great staff along with food and beverages is a big plus.

Enjoyed our night out work another couple, local bands was playing and place was full. Food was good, not amazing, and service was great.

Some mistakes were made with the order. Did not receive my meal because I requested take out and my whole order was given as take out. I sat and watched everyone at the table eat and took my order home. They did compensate the Error. I did appreciate that

First time trying this place. Nachos weren't bad, they were ok. I felt there was too much queso and no regular cheese. However the bathroom was disgusting and the building smells as soon as you enter

For such an awesome place to eat they amount of time you wait for a drink is so long regardless I’ll always continue going to busters but they need help with the bar! They knew they had 2 wedding parties last night and still very unprepared for that!

For not wanting to sit at a high table ....we got to sit by the door at a sticky wobbly table with plastic lawn chairs. The food was not what we are used to eating at this establishment but the waitress was very nice and helpful.

Great bar. Outside deck is great, sad they built something to block the view. No menu or items for kids & burgers with sauce (rasberry) need more, for a couple small pieces of bacon & barely any jelly, it was dry. But the wings are thick & Philly was awesome.

Busters seemed to be without a manager Saturday or a slacker. My Philly sandwich was just beef and cheddar with no grilled peppers and onions. At minimum I should have been warned that I wasn't getting what I ordered. The back upper deck had unopened umbrellas blocking the view of those at your table. I guess the staff didn't care to take a minute and put them away. The owner should cut down the 3 awkwardly placed tall bushes that block the view of the river, then put lamp or flame features on the big white cement posts.

Bar staff were consistently playing on their phones while the place was packed and not very attentive. Brought a friend from out of state we were going to have a few more drinks but he was not impressed with the service so we went to another nearby bar for a few more drinks. Food was great however.

Under new ownership since my last review. The food is good & so was the French onion soup. Menu is different & missing things from the past. Yeah I miss the steak not on the menu. Last 2 times there French onion soup was very salty. The BLT I ordered came without any mayo on it. I don't see myself returning again. Seems like they have a new chef.

Service was slow but the food was good. I ordered the shrimp scampi and was excellent and a large helping. My girlfriend ordered the chick ( very large helping) Parm and she said it was very good. One kid ordered the Mac and cheese. It was just the box kind which was perfect. That's what the kids want anyway. My other kids ordered was messed up but they didn't charge us for it. They were slow but at least they were open cause the first restaurant I went to was closed early because of lack of help.

Local bar and grill feel with local bar and grill patrons. A mixed crowd of beer drinkers and wine sippers. Ordered a burger and it was relatively acceptable. Fries were pretty terrible. Maybe they should see what else their vendor can offer. Go here to drink and be merry. Then when you’re drunk you won’t care what you’re eating

Ordered through DoorDash: a French Dip that came with nothing on it for sauce nor the au jus for dipping; a Reuben with a request in caps, “NO SAUERKRAUT”, which was stated clearly on the order yet received a sandwich full of sauerkraut; seasonal cheesecake which they didn’t have was replaced with strawberry shortcake ($7.80) which barely had any shortcake. Very disappointing dinner.

I’ve been here 3 times, and after each time, I wish I had gone someplace else. Its just mediocre bar food. The “zings” they brag so much about are soggy breaded chicken tenders with sauce. The breading falls right off. Salad bar is pretty basic, iceberg lettuce and a few toppings. Service was average, if a bit slow. I don’t get the draw of this place when Hobies is a 2 minute drive away.

The food was quite good, quesadilla and fries but the service was terrible. I had to beg for a waitress who seemed quite inconvenienced by our simple demands....I want a beer and food. 15 minutes for said beer on a rather quiet evening. There were at least three people, at all times, at the doorway though none would look our direction. A passerby slowed to wish us luck saying that my efforts were futile. It was true.

Had lunch today 10/29/20, could use some more tables in the lower section, my wife had a very hard time with the stairs. The place is ok, does not look like a "sports bar", it still has an old pub feel not sports bar. The food was just ok, chicken nachos chips where very thin and got very soggy, took a long time to come out. The service was good but slow too. Would I recommend, at this point I'd to say maybe.

We use to love eating here but the menu has changed, all pasta dishes have been taken off. It's now overpriced bar food. Burgers were $16 only with chips if u want fries there is now an upcharge. Wow. Way overpriced for what u get. Unfortunately my family won't be going there to eat anymore.

Would give it 0-stars if I could. Burgers were WAY undercooked. Ordered them medium, they came burnt on the outside and near bloody middle. French onion soup was ice cold. Salad was mishandled and made inappropriately, while missing ingredients. When the sanitary conditions were addressed to the young man making the salad, he lied and said "this salad is coming home with me". I WATCHED HIM MAKE AND BAG IT WITH MY OWN EYES. Staff and management are rude. Food is overpriced and low-quality. Safe to say I won't be ordering here again, ever.

This evening around 8:25pm my husband called to see what time they closed. The young lady who answered the phone said 9pm but we stop seating people at 8:30pm. Mind you we were already on our way ans would have been there by 8:40pm the largest. If your open til 9pm then why couldnt we have still been able to come in and eat. I know at other restaurants they seat people til the closing time. Now because of this I dont think I want to even think of going here to eat. My husband wanted to go there for the first time. Yes it was late but he has traveled to long island and Albany to help with the snow. Yes he is a essential work for the state of ny dot. Hope you guys are happy with turning people away before the 9pm closing time.

Very professional of the new owners to block someone on their social media simply because they were asked to stop tagging everyone in their posts. Not a good way to be in the community. I know this is one place I will never be at now as well at Gus’s the other place they own. The owners are immature and not professional.

Cool sports bar atmosphere and a waitress that seemed to care but the food and cleanliness were awful. Loaded nacho appetizer had canned cheese, the app plates had water, dust, and old food spots on them. We had to sort through the stack at the waitress' station to find three mostly clean ones. Out of 3 different burgers, all were cooked well done no one ordered well done. One plate had hair in the food, one deluxe burger had no sauce of any kind, and one was terribly dry. The poutine gravy was thinner than soup broth and the fries were struggling not to drown. Sad to say but there are other places for cold beer.

Terrible!!!! Show up an hour and a half before closing and staff was putting salad bar stuff away which was very very minamal and basic and dried out like its been there all week,soup was too peppery couldnt eat Chairs were uncomfortable staff was young and inexperienced. Wont be back!!

Called to make a reservation, was told they no longer take reservations, but was told they could accommodate a table of ten at 630. When we arrived we were told. No sorry it will be at least and hour maybe longer before we can have a table for you. While waiting there was a party of 6 also waiting they called and were told come over we have 3 open tables. When they arrived 5 minutes later they were told it would be 25 minutes, 30 minutes later they were told sorry it will be at least another 20 minutes. At that point we left and went to another restaurant. Not a good way to start out with a new business.

A little pricey, and the Steak tasted like a salt lick, if I wanted a salt lick I would have gotten takeout from tractor supply... The wait for the main course was around 45 minutes. The Nachos we had as an appetizer while we waited were pretty decent at least. Would not recommend to a friend

We ordered take out from Busters last night and it was so disappointing that my wife, daughter and I did not finish our meals. We all found it very bland and flavorless. I had the French dip which offered very little flavor. My wife had the Pulled Pork sandwich which she said was very disappointing. My daughter had the Mac and Cheese and only after a few bites was ready to toss it in the garbage. I remember much better food previously from a little over a year ago. Hopefully they can get their act together.

Decided to go and try out the food.There was four of us . We were sat in a cubby with a round table, with a fan on the wall inches from my head that was on high, and a fly that would not go away. Our waitress was efficient. I ordered the open faced hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes. My meal was cold. The turkey was deli meat , the bread was hard , and my mashed potatoes had so much pepper in them , I ate only a couple bites of the whole meal . We also ordered a veggie burger , with sweet potatoes fries that were cold as well and not very good . We also got the chicken Parmesan, which had raw onions in it and was also cold. The atmosphere was very loud as we were sat by the back of the bar . I'm sure it's a great place to get a beer and after some bar food but not a very good dining place to enjoy a meal with your family . Unfortunately we will not be coming back to this restaurant.

Was there yesterday. Ordered Philly cheese steak and routine. Philly cheese steak was so overcooked. Couldn't be eaten. I sent it back. Second one was fine but had to wait quite a while. Waitress told me meal would be free because it wasn't acceptable. Not looking for a handout but I was billed and the waitress told me I woukdnhave to pay c so needless to day i will never go there agsin and I will share my negative experience to my friends amd online. No way to run a business and lack of communication plus I can't believe any chef would serve the first Philly cheese steak to anyone
