We ate at Tropical. The place is very small, but it’s in a great location. The food is a mix of American and Mexican styles—kind of a fusion. Portions were on the smaller side for the price, but everything tasted good. The dishes felt less greasy and more “artistic,” especially the tacos, enchiladas, and ceviche.

Very enjoyable lunch at tropical. I had pan de Cason (dogfight stew between tortillas covered in salsa) it was delicious. My wife had a beef burrito and that was excellent. Highly recommended.

It's a nice place for lunch with lots of high quality options. Nicely decorated and we appreciated that the music wasn't very loud. The food was good but expensive. We waited a relatively long time considering the place wasn't very full.

Good restaurant overall, good prices, they have shellfish two at a better price others in the area. The green chaya soup is very good try it. They regularly have the promotion 2 beers for a good price. Many local and typical dishes.

We ate the tomato soup starters and shared taco platter for two. Sad thing with the platter was the fact that the fajita cheese was the best part of the dish. The meat in the taco was extremely dry, the chicken was tasteless.

British tourist couple aged 25-30 travelling around central america. Visited Tropical for dinner & drinks. Great drinks deal of 2 beers (sol or XX) for 79MXN$ or 1 large Daquiri / Pina Colada / Margarita for $149MXN. Variety of options available on menu including traditional mexican dishes, pastas, seafood, meat. Appetisers ~200MXN$, main meals ~300-400MXN$. Good location on 5th avenue, street side seating and large upstairs area with traditional decoration and friendly attentive staff. We had guacamole sharer, cheese filled chilli with rice, a seafood soup and guacamole with 2 beers and a cocktail for $1000 pesos.

Very poor service and lack of cleanliness. Ordered 2 non alcoholic drinks that took over 10 minutes to arrive - and we were the ONLY table in this establishment. Once they arrived, my glass had lipstick all over the side. So disgusting I barely touched my drink. Multiple people off the street come in asking you to give them money. Not the nicest for when you’re wanting to sit and enjoy your time there. Nice decorations and atmosphere was okay once 2 more tables filled up but would never come back here again. Very bad experience. Not worth the prices either

Went there for the nice comments but honestly it didn’t live up to the hype. I had the fish and shrimp tacos, fish was overcooked and dry. Shrimp cooked good but nothing compared to what other places offer. It was also overpriced, the service okay, but the food not good unfortunately..

I came here to enjoy a drink with my friend. And it was terrible service I came and someone came to sit next to our table. He got up and started smoking in front of the restaurant. I politely told him it is ilegal to smoke in or in front of the restaurant by his accent it seems he was argetinian very disrespectful they are. I told the server and person in charge. They didnt tell the guy anything. They put music that is not Mexican music and like hello we are in Mexico! I ask to put Christian Nodal music and they denied it. Because the hard true is that they are scare the tourist are going to complain about real Mexican music in Mexico! Thats plainly not good customer service! Dont waste your time! They are not authentic! Jose was super attrntive. Aruelio tried to put tip on my account without persmission. Be careful and check the receipt.
