I stopped here for breakfast on a Sunday morning at 8 AM and it’s a great space to sit outside. I had the tuna on ciabatta and it was delicious and fresh. Wait staff was super nice. It’s right by the water, but you don’t have a great view of the water.

Honestly one of our favorite spots in playa! We go every single day either for breakfast or lunch. The food is all so fresh and yummy, the cocktails are also delicious and all the staff are lovely! 10/10 can’t wait to go back ❤️

Design Without Borders

This is an excellent restaurant located steps away from Quinta Avenida - my favourite dishes to order on the menu are their grilled fish of the day, or, for a nice appetizer, their smoked salmon toast. Other great options if you’re looking for something to share is their tabouleh salad. They do also have live music during the weekends - however, I believe they stopped playing reggae music on fridays, which I hope they bring back again soon!

A great little bar/restaurant just steps from the beach. I really don't understand why this place isn't more crowded. Great vibe, great prices, great service. This will be our go to next time we're here in Playa del Carmen.

This place is such a vibe! It's down one of the streets off of 5th ave so it's quieter than the loud bars off of 5th. They have happy hour all day (2 drinks for $200 pesos). Drinks and service were great!

Stopped here after getting caught in the rain and I’m so happy I did! Got an Aztec coffee (coffee with xtabentun liquor) and amazing huge shrimp cocktail. My family loved the nachos with beef. They were showing the World Cup game, great ambiance. Would come back!

What a great, great place! Wonderful atmosphere, amazing food, delicious and unique drinks...but best of all are the people here. We discovered it by chance while celebrating our mother's milestone 70th birthday...then returned three times over the last few days of our visit. One thing you notice right away is that there were always repeat customers - the staff remember and greeted all who returned. William was there to welcome us each time we came, ensuring our drinks were muy picante (We suggest the mezcalita fusion and the mezcalita summer)! The food was super - we tried the Pico de Gallo, guacamole, tacos, bruschetta...all delicious. We even made a point to go back on our last day to eat and have a drink before leaving for the airport to come home. This will be a stop anytime we are ever in Playa Del Carmen.

Nice ocean breeze, very good location, we came here on a Wednesday 6Pm, not very busy, plenty of seats to choose from. Also it is happy hour. A good vibe, drinks were strong, a surprisingly large variety of food selection. Servers are attentive. I got their self-proclaimed “best burger in playa”, in my opinion it had the right ingredients, but lack a little kick. Still pretty good. Would visit again.

Amazing food, excellent service, incredible drinks, perfect ambiance for group setting or more intimate meals, has a live band in the evenings which sets a really nice ambiance. Also has hookah for those who are interested! Such a nice vibe. Could spend all day here. Overall 5/5, highly recommended especially for dinner/tapas!

Like most restaurants/bars on the beach Playa Maya is also a beach club. We spent the day here and service was great. Price for 2 chairs w/umbrella was $250 peso/$14.00 usd for the whole day (price goes down in the afternoon). Loungers were well spaced. Food was good as well prices reasonable

Además hay un señor super atento que si ve que te está dando el sol mueve la sombrilla para tu comodidad. ➡️ Definitivamente regresaría

Un buen lugar para pasar el rato, es familiar, tienen regaderas, una piscina pequeña y camastros, pagas $300 por persona y este costo la usas en tu consumo del restaurante

Place had good music, though one loudspeaker was going on and off, pretty annoying. Mezcal cocktail was almost virgin, hardly any alcohol inside. Tequila was served pretty basically. Stay with beer. Food was good, recommended.

Pretty nice place with live music. We've ordered cocktails, asked to be not frozen, but all become frozen 🫠 taste was not bad, but quite waterish because of that ice. Music was cool, vibe is relaxed.

Good ceviches. Bad customer service, waiter told my son in law that he should give him 25% tip because the place was pretty busy....(?)

Based on the reviews I had elevated hopes for this place. I wanted a quieter vibe off 5th av for dinner. So far so good when I entered. I got a strawberry daiquiri which unfortunately was bland and tasteless. I ordered the Burger. Mistake. Big mistake. If I thought the daiquiri was flavorless - the burger was chalky dry and devoid of any taste. I put the plate to the side of the table indicating I'm done after only 1 bite. The server asked what's wrong. I told her. She blamed me for having different taste and everyone loves their burgers. She blamed me for not having it cooked the way everyone else has it - well done. I requested medium rare (came out medium well). We all know the longer you cook a burger (especially well done) the less juicy it is. I should have known better then try to find a good burger in Mexico (I just really wanted non Mexican after 2 weeks). The other thing that was "rude" is the server plopped a lantern on my table as if to say - HERE! She didn't even turn it on. If management responds and says I left without paying, I did pay. For my daquiri only. It was 185 and I left 200. I hope you have a better experience.

Pésimo servicio y abusan de los turistas, no vayan !!!

Attention grosse arnaque les prix changent si tu es un touriste. Nous avons payé 400 pesos par transat avec 200 de conso seulement (le prix d’un petit cocktails chez eux). Les plats sont très petits, très chers , et de très mauvaise qualité. Le serveur modifie les prix et à la fin il faut lui donner 170pesos (10euro) de pourboire. Pas le choix c’est imposé. Je vous conseil celui d’à côté le « fusion beach » le transat est compris si vous consommez 500pesos. Et la nourriture est plus copieuse super bonne et de qualité et un service au top. Nous avons voulu découvrir un autre beach club mais nous l’avons bien regretté . Si j’avais pu je mettrais -5 étoiles.

Bonjour!!!! Je recommande passss!!! Ça fait 5 ans on etait ici… tout bon tout corect… on à revenu parce que on connaissait la place!!!!! Rien de tout comme avant…. A partir de la réception, le monsieur se croyait vraiment supérieur et il connaissait du tout l’anglais, on avait la misère à communiquer. On a rentré dans la chambre tout était rouillé, vieux, une odeur de bois pourrie et le lavabo de salle de bain avait un problème qui coulait de l’eau, malgré tout ça on avait un bon climatiseur. Wowwwww!!!! On viens de descendre pour le petit déjeuner…. Première journée… les meme tables depuis plusieurs années… je parle pas des les changer mais au moins entretenir une penture au moins… rien!!!! Le monsieur que nous servons courez par tout… il était seul pour tout le tables!!!! Juste pour faire l économie des employés!!!! C est trop pour vous dire… juste dans un avis… je reviens plus ici et je veux voir plus de gens pour pas payer pour rien!!!!!conclusion: Le propriétaire est chargé et les personnes qui sont venus ici connaissent rien!!!!!!je reviens avec des photos
