My first meal in LA did NOT disappoint!! 🤩 Señor Gs offers fresh & healthy Mexican cuisine just a hop, skip and jump off the beach in Playa del Rey. Lots of vegetarian options and some of the most delicious, fresh ingredients!! Chips & fresh guac for breakfast? Don’t mind if I do! 🤩 But wait there’s more! The service was impeccable! So friendly, so welcoming, and kind! Frankly, I might be in love.

Jimmy is the man!!!! We came in for a beach to go breakfast and mentioned we were splitting the chilaquiles. Not only were our food and drinks bombdiggity but jimmy threw in an extra plate and plasticware. Our drinks were nomtastic. Everything was great!

This place was delicious! I loved the veggie burrito. So filling! This is a totally cute spot with what I thought awesome wall art. The salsa is very much tomato based with a slight sweetness. The service was super fast and friendly. As my boyfriend lives close bu this will be a place we will frequent!

I’ve been here a couple times and have enjoyed it. Their burritos are very good, service is nice, and they have a few tables for outdoor seating, but there is no indoor seating. Once you order your food, wait time is usually 5 to 10 minutes. You can skip the line by ordering in advance. I ordered the Felipe Burrito.

I have been going to Señor G’s for 7+ years now. This review is past due, as for their recognition and status in the food game at Los Angeles. From their fresh vibrant juices to their mouth watering burritos, you honestly can’t go wrong with any of their items. Ambience: The owner, Benjamin, is a friendly, attentive, and passionate owner. He is usually present and will take customers orders. The menu will be presented right in between the ordering window and take out window. Parking can be found right beside Senor G’s, additional parking can be found along Culver Blvd. Due to the covid lockdowns, the indoor seating area is no more, but as of today there are a couple of tables (2 people seating) situated in-front of the establishment. If you decide to eat at G’s, you’ll be greeted by the cool breeze from Playa vistas beach. Food and Beverage: For food, my go to are the Chicken Colorado burrito, Martins kicken chicken burrito, and of course the Carlitos way burrito. I’ll break down the Carlitos way burrito since I believe it’s one of the best burritos out there, easily top 5 (if not top 3). The Carlitos way burrito is wrapped in a flour tortilla (other options are available such as spinach, ect.) with carne asada, grilled onions, cheese, red rice (can remove and sub for lettuce), beans (refried or black beans), a spritz of lemon, and guacamole. The burrito is well balanced, seasoned, and not drowning in grease (as typical Mexican burritos are). The carne asada has a suffice amount of fat which makes juicy, tender, and easily integrated into the burrito. Upon taking your first bite, all ingredients are proportional to one another. You’ll taste every bit of the ingredients, your palate will be presented with notes of sweetness coming from the grilled onions, followed with notes of the asada and guacamole/lemon adding a bit of acidity. Furthermore, the refried beans and rice allow for the burrito to have a soft texture but also providing structure to the burrito. To bring this burrito to another level, add some of their house made pico de gallo and habanero salsa, and enjoy. For drinks, you can’t go wrong with the horchata, green machine, Dr. Feel good, strava smoothie, berry good smoothie, or culver smoothie. The juices are a always made to order, providing the freshest and most vibrant fruits/veggies. If you’re reading up to this point, let me leave some crumbs. You have to order the carlitos way with refried beans, it’s a must. Want something sloppy but satisfying, order the chicken Colorado burrito with refried beans. Stop sleeping on their horchata, has a nice balance of sweetness and cinnamon. They offer complimentary chips, pico de Gallo, and ask for the habanero salsa (has a kick to it but nothing too crazy if you’re into spicy stuff). Breakfast is served all day, if you’re wondering. Lastly, enjoy your meal at the playa vista lagoon or beach, can’t go wrong with either. I have recommended this spot to close family and friends, which all have been returning customers to G’s. Señor G’s is a staple and a true gem of Playa vista and Los Angeles. Over the past 7+ years ordering at G’s, it has always been consistent. Do not miss out, give this place a try, and thank me later.

Super tasty Mexican food. This is a great location to visit if you have been exploring the beach or the small town of Playa Vista. There is only outdoor seating and they have no restroom. We’ve had the burritos, guacamole, and horchata. All are delicious. They also have vegetarian options.

Been coming here for over 10 years and the quality has remained consistently delicious and fresh. Prices have gone up over the last couple of years because of natural inflation and how the beach area is becoming more popular. But the large portions, hardworking employees and bright vibes honestly make this the best Mexican food you can get in the area. They specialize in the most amazing burritos and really good Mexican breakfast plates. I am a fan of their chilaquiles, their chicken fajita salad and their garden veggie burrito. Amazing salads, each item comes as a big portion. They make their own chips, nice thick and crunchy. You can taste the corn in their chips it’s delicious. Get the guacamole if you’re a fan of that stuff. They make it chunky and full of flavor here, so good. Super hot habanero sauce, ask for that if you like it spicy. Like, really spicy. Oh yeah, they’re also half juice bar half restaurant. Delicious smoothies made with frozen yogurt. Playa papaya is my favorite! You can also create juices or have one of their famous blends like the Dr. Feel Good, made with beets. Take out or eat in, eat inside or outside. Limited free parking available on side of restaurant. Open early! Breakfast served all day now!

As our friend prepares to move up north, we decided to get together one last time to hit up our favorite spot... Señor G's in Playa Del Rey. They always serve great food and the staff are nice and friendly. Certainly a hole in the wall type place if 6ou haven't heard of it. But definitely a spot will co time to come back to in 2021.

Senior G is the best local and fresh restaurant I frequent. The staff is extremely kind and hard working. The food is generous portions and quickly prepared. Everytime I have ordered the service is friendly and efficient. Highly recommend the steak nachos and the martins kicken chicken burrito. The smoothies are excellent as well and freshly made. A must try in PDR!

Nice little spot off Culver Blvd just before you hit Vista Del Mar. Got the chilaquiles plate, machaca plate, cafe de olla and some fresh juice. Everything was solid (especially the house made salsas/hot sauce) but definitely wish the food had a touch more salt to bring out the flavor! Both the chilaquiles and machaca were good but I’d choose the chilaquiles over the machaca. Prob will be back at some point to try the huevos rancheros and chorizo con huevos. Also want to mention that there’s no prices on the menu displayed outside! Seems reasonably priced from what I can tell though. Cafe de olla was lovely as well, and the fresh juice was great.

I got the Martins Kickin Chicken Burrito and it was OK. Didn’t really like the rice that it came with. Not much flavor that was exciting. This was the most below average burrito I’ve ever had. I’d maybe give it a second chance and try something different. However, service was great!

Apparent scamming! Warning! I have never been so blatantly scammed by a restaurant before! It’s costing me money ! I have an allergy to onions, so I did the ordering online while I was on the phone with the boy who said he was a manager . I went through the order for a $16 tostada and he assured me he would guide it against onions . When the order went through, they charged me $37.27! I was still on the phone with the manager and canceled it immediately. I thought things were a little fishy because he said he couldn’t process the refund and I had to call PayPal and DoorDash to get my money back, but he assured me. Repeatedly! Numerous times that the order was indeed canceled, and I could get my refund from DoorDash or PayPal. I ended up having to file FRAUD charges against them because a little while later, the delivery guy shows up with something very similar to what I was ordering and had canceled! I’ve never heard of a restaurant not being able to issue a refund on a canceled order that hadn’t even gone to the kitchen yet , it did raise suspicions, but they turned out to be correct. I don’t know if the guy had just been fired and was doing his last. Let’s screw a customer, but they are not to be trust. This has eaten up a few hours of my time and I still don’t know how the bill went from $16. 28 $37.25 charge. Basically their headache ! How do you trust them to make healthy food when they’re ripping you off?
