Bonchon Chicken

I am a big fan of spicy fried chicken sandwiches and Korean food is properly spicy. I think their secret is that everything is breaded and fried to order. So yes, your order of fried wings will take 20 minutes. But, boy is it worth it! The other flavors aren't quite as good but the meat is moist and texture is crispy. They do have a bunch of other Korean dishes like jap chae and ttaeoboki that are reasonably well done but those aren't the reason to come here.

Very good chicken, the tteokbokki to is fire.. Would recommend the Garlic Soy wings with the kimchi.

Fast and great Korean affordable dining with excellent service. We ordered the fried chicken and japchae both tasted excellent. Plus the food came fast and it was affordable. Our waitress was really nice. Most baby/family friendly dining experience we’ve had at a Korean restaurant so far. She gave us baby utensils, water and even stickers! We couldn’t ask for more

We always love the food here. Tonight we were really excited to eat but our son (4) was having a hard time and we knew we just weren't going to enjoy our dinner if he wasn't comfortable. Shortly after being seated we made the hard decision to head home as he was inching closer and closer to a tantrum. The women who helped us was so understanding and even gave all 3 of our children little dragon ball toys, which really helped the situation! Thank you for being so understanding and helpful in a difficult parenting position! We will be back for sure!

The space is modern with very nice touches like the elaborate lighting. This place is not cheap considering it's chicken wings but it's worth it, both for the quality of the product and the decor and ambience of the establishment.

I had alot of different and homemade fry chicken in my life but the soy garlic chicken is amazing. Even it is a different restaurant from the city the favors are on point. I did check out the other stores around look like it all new stores and restaurants.

Probably the better fried chicken around the Dublin area. Just opened in December. Toppokki is decent. A little watery but good flavor.

They are really best for their chicken wings are great, a bit crunchy, sweet and spicy all at the same time. Fried pot stickers, and pork buns are a household favorite.

We came in around lunchtime on a Saturday and it was pretty busy, but the service was still great and we didn’t wait long for the food. My mom loved her chicken sandwich and fries. My dad and I shared the 12 piece boneless and liked the soy garlic/sweet chili sauces, but felt like they could have had more sauce lol. They were kind of dry and I just personally love them being drenched in sauce lol. But other than that it was an awesome experience

The fried chicken (wings and drums) are quite large in size. For 3 of us, we have ordered too much food and have 4 drums left to take home. Interior decor is trendy and inviting.

Delicious, the fried chicken came with radish which is cut like a sugar cube and delicious. The service was good and one thing to remember dogs are not allowed and they don't have outside seating. It was a nice girls day out. I definitely recommend this place as I am going there again 😉.

The food really isn't that great. I got the half and half chicken and it was under sauced and didn't have too much flavor. The crispness was on point. The coleslaw was super sweet and didn't taste like much of anything besides sweetness and crunchyness from the cabbage.

Went last week with family. Solid food but got an automatic 18% gratuity for a party of 4?? After the fact it could’ve been a mistake on their part since there was automatic gratuity for party of 5+ but still wasn’t nice to see.

I like Bonchon chicken very much. I eat like at least once a month. I used to pick up from San Jose store and was very glad when Pleasanton store opened. Ever since I ordered like 10 times. I always felt that this store gives less quantity and last order hit threshold for me. Drum was so small that I thought I only ordered wing but I was wrong. Drum was as small as wing. That was first time we didn't leave any piece as it was so small for 3 peoples even we ordered large. Today, I went to another branch and realized that quantity didn't change at all for other branch. I understand covid-19 gives a lot of hard time to small business and restaurants. So I tried to order as much as possible from neighborhood store and no complain for price hike. But at this moment, it's over. I won't go back to this branch. I don't mind driving 30 min more as I can get better/bigger dish than this specific branch.

Boneless wings mediocre, wouldn't recommend, but they ran out boned so i gave it a try. Bugogi also okay only. Wouldn't come back.

As I visited this place with my wife to take her to Bonchon, the hospitality was just okay. One young lady approached us and asked us to sit in the corner. We were about to sit there when, a few seconds later, another staff member came over and told us not to sit there, directing us instead to a table near the front door, where everyone was walking in and out. We requested to sit at the same corner where the first lady had told us to sit. I asked the second staff member again, but she yelled at me angrily and loudly said ‘no,’ which caused other customers to look at us. I understand the table was for four people, and we were only two, but there were other groups of two also sitting at tables meant for four. So why were we not allowed to sit there? That’s not fair! Very rude customer service, and I will never visit this place again. After that happened, we refused to order food and happily left the restaurant.

Really hard to get help here. I was here for a pick up, took like 10 minutes before someone came to the desk and asked me what i needed. Then when i told her my name for the pick up and she just said it’s coming in a rude way and ignored me after that. No sorry for the wait or it’s still be prepared should be ready soon. Nothing. Just “it’s coming” in a rude and loud kinda way. In the end when i finally got my order i still wanted to be kind so i said thank you and no response just walked back into the kitchen. Really poor customer service. Older lady with short hair and a hat on. They don’t have name tags so idk her name. 6pm Thursday 01/09/2025

Overhyped, overpriced and overcooked!!! What a ripoff. We ordered the Family Meal which comes with one side. $41 for 12 wings and 6 drumsticks plus a "side" of coleslaw which was only 3/4 cup "for the family". We got half plain and half spicy. Both were extremely dry and overcooked. We had to use a steak knife to cut them. The spicy would have been good if it wasn't overcooked. The plain was... plain. We ordered at 7pm so this wasn't a "late order" issue. The Ranch 99 food court has better chicken for much cheaper. SAVE YOUR MONEY,

Food was good. However, the server was rushing us and while taking the bowl of soup for to go she spilled it on one of our food and did not even apologize or replaced the food. And she did not even wiped the table, we have to do it ourselves. These all happened while we were still eating. She even placed the bill on the wet area of the table. I have to keep my cool coz I'm with my children. I understand that it can get busy but this was unacceptable. I think the Stockton branch has better service than this one. I'm not coming back to this location. So disappointing!

Was very displease and disappointed with the experience. 1st: As we were ordering the 10 pcs wings, but the worker "recommended" us to order the 20 pcs instead. Saying that the chicken that they got in were very small. However, when we received our order the chicken wings were regular size. 2nd: The charged us 2 extra sodas, after we corrected them, we noticed that they still overcharged us 1 extra. So, we decided to go up to the register instead. 3rd: We had no choice of the tipping options, we found out that we had to tip 15$ for gratitude fee. We also did not order a lot either. All in all, the customer service was bad, the food wasn't good, the store was very small, the tap water was extremely disgusting (so we decided to get soda instead), and the overcharged.

The chicken was really good! came all the way here from a far city, ordered online so we can eat fast when we arrive, unfortunately the lady in front was very rude and dismissive! yes she is really rude! doesn't let online orders dine in. we have 1 toddler and an infant with us and we we have no choice but to eat at the car.

The service here is NOT good and they will pressure you to order more if they see / deem that what you order is not "enough". All of a sudden they will tell you they have a supposed "policy" (which by the way has NO signage or notices posted, as is legally required nor do they verbally inform BEFORE you sit down and order) that each person must order something. We were already going to order a Medium Combo of the Chicken - Wings and Drumsticks, Half and Half flavor, Seasoned Fries, Onion Rings, and Coleslaw and we were three people. The Korean lady (I don't know if she's the manager or owner or franchiser of this particular branch) was pressuring us to order more, under the guise that "due to the pandemic, and to help our workers..." -- I understand if that is the situation, but customers / diners should NEVER feel pressured to order more than they can finish and eat. This lady from this branch was very abrasive and rude, and so we just decided to leave and cancel the order. NEVER going to return to this branch again - I would go elsewhere - DO NOT GO HERE!! You will be pressured and cheated -- there's many other Bonchon branches in the Bay Area -- the one in Sunnyvale has great and BETTER service than here and they won't pressure / cheat you!! Shame on this branch!
