Visited this restaurant on a rainy evening in November. Who doesn't love hot Chinese food in such weather, when you also have good vegetarian options available too. Garlic Eggplant appetizer was on the sweeter side and was cooked perfectly. Chow Mein was also very good. Kung Pao Tofu was lacked flavor and gravy. Was expecting an explosion in my mouth but there was none. Service was fast and every dish was served hot and fresh.

Our first time dining in this restaurant and what a great experience. To begin, the lunch prices are actually reasonable. For $8.00 - $10.00 you can get an entree dish, your choice of rice, an egg roll or salad, and soup. My wife and I ordered the vegetable spring rolls which came out before the meal (what a novel concept). They were crisp on the outside with flavorful fillings and they were actually hot! The soup they served had a little spice and the small salad had this unique peanut dressing which was fabulous. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken and she ordered the Vegetable Kung Pao with Tofu. Both dishes were hot, full of flavor, and had just the right amount of vegetables and sauce. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was extremely clean. This is our new favorite Chinese restaurant in Pleasanton, especially for Lunch!!!

Been trying to expand to all the restaurants in Pleasanton. I remember getting a menu in my mailbox a while back so had to see what's up! Got the mango beef, duck fried rice, chicken chowmein and hot and sour soup! The soup was awesome! Everything else had a real nice smokey flavor to it with a bit of charred color. One thing I have to say I got the crab ragoons and I think these are the best I've ever tasted! The cream cheese was just perfect! Will deff be back to try more items!

The food and service here are EXCELLENT! I am still surprised at how reasonably priced the lunch menu is - $9.00 for an entree, egg roll or salad, and choice of rice (white, brown, or fried). I will be going back!

Best Chinese Food Restaurant in Pleasanton. Try the combination pan fried noodles and the sesame seed chicken, the bomb! Great service and absolutely the best Chinese food in pleasanton!

Fancy brand new interior, quality delicous food and excellent service! I tired the two chef's special especially made for me which are not on menu. 1. Teriiyaki stylw beef with mushrooms. 2. Grilled salmon! Fabulous!!

I am not an avid reviewer of much, so for me to do this means I really love Dragon City. Hands down this place has my favorite won ton soup of all time. I love that there are some veggies in it, the broth has a more vibrant flavor than I've had and the wontons in it are just fantastic. I always order sesame chicken and it never fails. My husband has shifted from the sweet and sour chicken to the sesame as well. I think I've gotten some lo mein once or twice and I'm always satisfied. I can easily make these portions 2-3 meals for myself. Absolutely recommend this place.

Great Food, wonderful service and so very friendly! My partner and I have been going to Dragon City since they opened - one to two times a month! We enjoy Chinese food but this place has the best Pepper and Salt Fish, their chow fun (any type of protein) is delectable, we have tried most of the things on the menu and have never been disappointed. When ordering "hot" dishes, let them know how much heat, otherwise it is "HOT" but always delicious! Bon Appetit

This is my go to place if we don’t have dinner at home. Friendly people and good food in both quality and service. Good for family weekday nights if you crave for good Chinese food. Their chicken fried rice, hunan and orange chicken is great along with their soups and spring rolls. They take good care of their guests as well.

We've been long time customers, and today was very unpleased with our order. We no longer live in the area but still make the drive. When calling I let them know the order was not the same as usual. Rather then being met with understand I was told it was the same. This is an order I have made on numerous accounts. Why would I call to complain if it was the same. I expressed that it's such a drive and would like a refund for that dish that was not made properly. Was told no refund only offering another dish or don't come back. As regular customers I would have hoped for an understanding. Unfortunately I will dispute this and may not return here. Rude service! We order with extra sauce and this came out with no flavor,dry, and stuck together like glue, the noodles came out like a disc could not even part it. When it usually has sauce it slides right out.

After being seated my kid went and used restroom and came back. 15 mins later I hear the owner yelling expletives from kitchen, S and F words. We were cluwe less on what happened. This continued for 10-15 mins and my kids got scared after that guy shouted on me when I stood up to see what happened. We took the food to go and paid and rushed out. I called back later asking the lady on what happened and why that in appripriate behavior. To my surprise she said , your girl used the bathroom and messed up and hence my husband is angry.and hung up. That's really really uncalled for behavior. Even if the bathroom for messed up, I wud have paid these guys if they were civil enough and came to me. That guy is dangerous, STAY away, he had a big meltdown.
