There is always a line but so worth it. We got a double double meal and the cheeseburger and fries were awesome. Fries were fresh I usually do not prefer their fries but they were good. First time also that a location has got my cheeseburger on the side prepared to the exact request. Definitely a 5 star all around

First time ever eating at one. Loved the cheeseburger. Tasted very fresh and my burger was nice and crunchy with the fresh lettuce and i loved the crispy toasted bun. Very nice burger. The fries were not all that. Limp and not hot!. Also tried the animal fries. Good until all of the toppings were gone and then you were left with limp cold fries. Drinks were self serve. Liked that i could and did get 2 refills. Nice choice of drink flavors. Overall i really liked my burger. It filled me up. Nice and simple menu also. Do something well by having a simple menu. Will eat at In n Out again.

Even though the drive through line was super long they have an efficient way of handling it. I was able to get my order in a very short time. They kept things moving. I was N & OUT!

I have not been to an in and out burger as I am visiting from a place where they don't exist. I was surprised with how clean it was kept and that the food was coming out in a reasonable time given the amount of orders. There were a few people being trained at the time and they were doing a very good job.

It was 10:30pm on a Saturday & every seat was filled inside and out, along with people standing around and a line all the way down the street for the drive thru. Employees handled it very well. Prompt and orderly.

Recently visited California and had to try the famous In-N-Out Burger. I have to say that it did not disappoint. I would rank this as one of the best fast food burgers I've had. I ordered the double and I love the thin patties and crunchy texture. The only fast food burger even close on the east coast would be Steak and Shake. The fries could be cooked a little longer. I prefer them crispy.

Same as other locations long line in store or drive through. I parked and ordered inside as it's faster than waiting in line in the drive thru. The taste is great and the ingredients are fresh. $6 for a double double or about $9 for a meal.

While visiting a friend in California, I had to stop by In-N-Out Burger to see what all the hype was about. It was my first time trying it, and honestly, I get the obsession now. The staff were incredibly friendly, and our order was taken almost immediately even though there were a few people ahead of us. I went with a classic cheeseburger, and thanks to my boyfriend’s tip we also ordered the famous Animal Style fries. They’re not on the regular menu, but definitely worth knowing about: fries topped with grilled onions, cheese, and In-N-Out’s signature sauce. The food came out quickly and everything tasted fresh and yummy. The location itself was also very clean, including the bathrooms, which I always appreciate. Safe to say In-N-Out gained a forever fan. I’ll definitely be stopping by again whenever I’m back in California. 🍔

Quite literally, the BEST In-N-Out burger I've ever had. Best quality...no joke. I've been to hundreds of these places. This is the first time I felt like I was eating a burger from a commercial or advertisement. The bun was perfectly toasted, the grilled onions were just right, and the lettuce was crispy and refreshing! What a wonderfully balanced bite each time. I have been dining here for years. In-N-Out is my most favorite fast-food restaurant chain that exists. I like their Strawberry Ice Cream, Double-Double Cheeseburger and Fries and I get it everytime I visit and make trips to eat here. I have been taking my family, friends and cousins here and they love the food and atmosphere here. I enjoy going out with friends and myself to In-N-Out and enjoy the comfort food. Otherwise everything is great. I will always make more trips in the future just to gain pleasure with their food. Other than that, In-N-Out is a great place for me. I love it.

Almost non-existent drive-thru line on a Monday afternoon! Order was accurate and the burgers and fries tasted great.

My kids LOVE in and out. My teenage boys enjoy the burgers the most and my teenage daughter loves the milkshakes the most. We are from the Midwest and this is an always stop for them. I think the food tastes somewhat above average. Definitely better than a place like McDonald's, Burger King or Wendy's.

Update: 01.30.2024 Stopped in just to get some fries. Cashier was friendly and I received a generous portion of fries in approximately 3 minutes. Like everywhere, prices have gone up, but In n Out's fries are always fresh and tasty. Only request would be that day go easy on the salt! We can always add more and if we ask for like Saul to take much longer to get the fries but it's just too much and bad for us - not that fries are good for us! Very few tables available but it was near lunch time and those that were available were clean. Update: 6.21.22 Not sure why the french fries are no longer very generous as they used to be, perhaps due to rising expenses due to Covid19 issues. They are still great fries, constantly being made fresh. Our family orders the veggie burger now, which is literally a bun with lettuce, tomato, pickle, and chiles - not too satisfying for vegans a mini salad on a bun basically, but there are no vegan patties available at In-N-Out and we wish they would get with the times! The best burgers & fries in California! Burgers freshly made to order, real potatoes cut on the premises & fried golden brown. Yummy shakes. No fancy menu, just the same, reliably delicious food you can count on. Try the grilled onions on your burger!

If you like burgers, In-N-Out could be one of your favourites, unless you’re vegetarian or on a diet because the burgers are really great tasting and their animal fries are very popular. I’m not big on burgers but these taste good and the animal fries are the Canadian poutine equivalent. They do cut their fries on-site so you’re sure they are real potatoes 😊. This site has plenty of seating outside but beware of the birds, 🦅 you could get hit by poopbomb.

Great place, nobody did anything wrong... I just don't understand why these burgers are so popular. Having never been to an in-n-out before I thought I'd try it. It was fine. Bland, and overstuffed with tomatoes, but... Fine... I suppose. It was definitely food.

Always consistently good burgers. We got the odd-menu animal-style fries. Unless you eat it hot, it’s messy and a coagulated mess. Don’t recommend getting it if you’re driving yourself. Same with the double-double - you need two hands to handle it and even a Tesla won’t help you. Luckily my son was in the passenger seat to help me unwrap it progressively and eat it.

In N out burger Pleasanton Is my favorite in the tri valley area. I usually order the double double cheeseburger meal. The service here Is very good I like that they nicely take your order and do their best to prepare the order without waiting too long. The weekends do get very busy, sometimes the drive through Is a hassle. Overall they do a good job keeping the restaurant clean and friendly.

When buying coffee at this in n out, ask to have it when you pay for your order, otherwise (if not I n hurry like I was) be prepared to wait extra time while they brew a new pot. It has happened twice at this location

Honestly after arriving at this location, I wasn’t sure how long my order would take. The time was approximately 11:00pm on a Friday night. Busy as you can imagine. As I entered the building I noticed quite a long line and maybe about 30-40 people inside. Lots of them were waiting for food it seemed. I was not too hungry so I decided on just ordering fries and a drink. The quality of the fries was pretty good, about the same as every other in n out. Service ended up taking about 10ish minutes for food to come out. There wasn’t much seating inside so I opted to sit outside. After consuming my delicious yum yum fries (370 calories) and thirst quenching 7-up (150 calories). I spotted quite a nice bmw e92 m3, grey te37s with a paint matched trunk(with a ducktail). I decided to snap a few shots and they turned out to be alright (f/1.4, iso 500, 1/100 shutter speed) I also spotted this beautiful 991.2 gt3rs not too far away. This is a fantastic place for car spotting on the weekends, however you will find your typical joe shmoe cars too. Overall this in n out provided excellent service with great cars too. For a busy night the service was reasonably speedy and well done. I kind of just wanted a reason to post these cars to be honest. I don’t actually think the service was that good 😵‍💫😁

Like many others, this is a busy location even when it is raining. Cars were lined up 10 long. Food is good and solid, as expected from the chain. Since it is so busy you probably will wait for your order especially if you have 3 or more people.

This location is too packed regardless what time you went to order. That is same as their next door fast food restaurant chick fil a. Both of these fast food take about the majority of the parking spots. Getting there right off the freeway can be challenging and heavy traffic. When I order the food there is about 40 queues in front of me. That how packed it is and barely have space to wait inside.

It can get kinda dirty but they do a good job of gettign it presentable given the foot traffic coming through. It is the only fast food place I will eat at. Prices remain modest. Never go anywhere else for burgers but here. McDonalds is absolute trash next to this place. Quality of beef is far superior here. Waits can get annoying but they are not precooking a bunch of stuff. It is worth it. The quality is here.

First time visiting this location at 12:30 am. Employee was coming near to our car, taking the order while I was doing drive through which is good. He has asked if you want to To-Go or for the car and we chose To Go. Wait time was around 15 mins during midnight which shows the popularity of their items. Fries was very soggy and not my taste. Burger was good. Overall my experience was good.

Discriminatory Behavior from the Manager (Justin) I'm an 18-year-old Asian male graduate student at UC Berkeley and work as an engineer at a nearby firm. I rely on my electric scooter for daily commuting to the BART station and campus. I recently visited this In-N-Out location around 2 PM—when it was not busy—for a to-go order. The manager, Justin, treated me unfairly and showed clear signs of discrimination. While he was extremely polite to customers in business attire, he singled me out for having a scooter, telling me I needed to leave because it might be in the way of the PWD (Persons with Disabilities) access. I explained that my scooter was worth $700 and there was no rack outside to lock it safely. I even reassured him that I would move immediately if someone with accessibility needs arrived. Still, he insisted I leave and refused to accommodate or escalate the situation properly. His behavior lacked professionalism, empathy, and basic customer service courtesy. Thankfully, a kind cashier noticed what was happening and offered to bring my food to me when it was ready—something Justin should have easily been able to manage. This was a disappointing experience, and no customer should be treated this way. I hope corporate takes this seriously and ensures proper training—or reconsideration of who they put in charge.

Got in line at 12:55 there was two cars in front of me waiting to get their order taken and another car who pulled up at the same time as me. When the young man came to take my order after finishing the car that pulled up literally when I pulled up he let the people inside know I would be the last order because I was the last one to get in the line before they closed. His manager proceeded to tell him he couldn’t take my order despite him telling them I was in line before they closed and at this point I had already been sitting waiting to get my order taken for 15 minutes. Doesn’t make sense why they would allow me to sit there for so long just to tell him he can’t take my order. Won’t be back at anytime of day.

The fries I got today must have had half a packet of salt on them; they were so salty it was terrifying. Maybe because it was busy and the staff were constantly occupied, they put too much salt. Zero stars.

I have never eaten a worse hamburger in my life, it was my first time and it was in a terrible state, the bread was burnt and I think I will never eat here again in my life because it was the worst for me and I want to leave it at the top. I used to hear that you can't get quality cheaply, and I wouldn't believe it, but I guess it's true. Even if they had given it to me for free, I wouldn't have eaten it and would have thrown it away, it was that bad.

Let me start by saying that I love In N Out. I have NEVER had a bad experience. The service is always friendly, the food is consistently good, and the restaurants are always clean. This location in particular was absolutely disgusting. The restaurant was filthy, the trash cans were overflowing, a total mess. They messed up our order, no biggie, they corrected it but the food still didn’t taste right. The only saving grace for this location was that the kids that were working were friendly. I do not recommend this location.

Service was good at the drive thru but the food was terrible. Burger patties were small and burnt. The fries were cold and crunchy. The animal fries were cold. The soda was carbonated but not sweet at all. Its very sad how bad the food has changed over the past few years.
