The food is excellent! The Love Bread, the cheesy garlic bread the frutti di mare were my favorites. All the dishes had so much flavor. The portions are pretty big so good thing there are microwaves in the hotel rooms!

Great night! It was my birthday around the corner and we wanted to celebrate it together . We tried this place for the first time and we will definitely be back. Our server made my birthday special!Thank you Jonnieg! I’m fighting cancer for awhile now but she made me forget about it! Food, drinks,service and atmosphere was amazing! This night made me wanted to go back.

My waiter, Jostin, was amazing. As a younger person I typically find it harder to relate to restaurant staff, but he and I were tight. He was funny and catered to us like kings. The bread and stuffed shells were amazing and I had a blast,

How awesome is Jostin! Such a kind & patient waiter. He was able to memorize eight individuals orders (entrees) and beverages of choice. The Manager on duty at this establishment - made a special appearance to check on our table. As an educator I pay attention to detail and without a doubt he was on point!

We went to Sortino’s twice during our stay at Kalahari and enjoyed all the food we ordered. Our server Desmond was friendly and attentive. They also sang great birthday song. Saturday was crowded and it’s better to make reservation ahead.

We loved our waitress Christina, she checked in on us and really was so personal and made us feel so welcomed. We were able to ask questions and have a great experience. We are planning to come back to the area soon, and will definitely be comming back. This really made our anniversary so special.

Jostin took wonderful care of us on 2/11. Food was delicious, service was fantastic, & drinks sooooo tasty from Mia at the bar!!

Our experience was incredible. It was our anniversary and our server Rob did not disappoint. The service and food were phenomenal! Robs drinks were to die for! We had such an experience!!

Our server Vanessa was AMAZING!!! She said she is usually a bartender but she is WASTED behind a bar. She is an awesome server and so personable. She was what you always hope your server is when going out to eat. The food was ok and the drinks were good, but not anything to blow your hair back. The highlight of our experience was definitely Vanessa.

Rob made my experience a great night! I had Robs Henny SIDE CAR DRINK ! LET ME TELL YOU AMAZING ! 🤪😍🥰 They substituted my beef for Chicken for the mafia and the salmon was great just needed a touch of salt which I didn’t mind because I’m young with high blood pressure lol. Jostin was such a great server. If you go try to get one of his tables. He was energetic and pleasant. Checked in to make sure we were good. It was our daughters birthday and they made her feel very special.

Abby was beyond AMAZING !!! THAT GIRL IS SERIOUSLY HANDS DOWN THE BEST WAITRESS IVE ENCOUNTERED IN ALL MY 41 YEARS. We were there for my daughters 9th bday dinner and she made her feel soooo special. She still talks about her weeks after. She even made all of us feel so amazing. She is amazing !

We had dinner 11/16/2025 and Justin was our waiter and he made our experience at Khlahari more memorable. The manager was also very nice and accommodated us due to arriving after the restaurant was closed and we received the wrong info of opening hours. We were seated and treated with the upmost respect the meals were amazing. This was one of the best experiences we had at Khlahari. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming

Our incredibly pleasant experience was mainly due to the skillful service of Demond. With a dining room full of patrons and handfuls of lion-topped children’s cups, he demonstrated poised and pleasant demeanor while tending to our every need. The food and drinks were delicious. We will certainly return for dinner again.

The food here was great! We ordered lasagna, shrimp scampi, and penne pasta w/ salmon and had no complaints. Everything well cooked to perfection. Also, our waiter Demond was the best! He was very interactive with our table and made my daughter's 6th birthday feel special. We will definitely visit this restaurant again.

The restaurant was amazing, the decor was great and the food was delicious but the best part of our experience was our server JOSTIN, he was the most absolutely amazing person we have met on our trip. JOSTIN is so friendly, great to talk to and made us so happy we chose to have dinner at Sortinos tonight, he made Conversation with us was so upbeat and was so kind to our son as well, he's a true professional and we really appreciate the time he took to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and that he was doing everything he could for us. Whoever hired him made the best decision ever because he's amazing, and we will be back because of him. As someone who spent over 11 years in the hospitality industry, he is someone you use as a positive example... Thank you JOSTIN for giving us a great experience!

We arrived later in evening, Jostin was so friendly and kind. He joked with us and explained what was so special about our meals. The food was delivered to the table hot and quick . The portions were gigantic, we needed several boxes for leftovers. Thank you Jostin for laughing with us, laughing at us and treating us like we were royalty.

Vanessa was a top notch waitress for our party of 17 people. We had tons of demands , questions and she pulled it off with a huge cheery smile 😃 all restaurant staff were actually very accommodating! We will certainly be back !

I went to celebrate my birthday, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our server, Demond, was incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful from the very beginning. He made us feel so welcome and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. What made it even more special was when he surprised me with a birthday dessert and gathered the team to sing for me. It was such a sweet and memorable moment that really touched my heart. Demond’s warmth and attention to detail made the whole evening unforgettable. I’ll definitely be coming back; not just for the food, but because of the amazing service. Our server Justin was awesome!!!!! He brought so much positive energy to our table. He was funny, friendly, and got everything we needed quickly. Probably the best server we have ever had. Food was delicious!!! Definitely coming back to eat and requesting Justin!!

Went out for Valentine’s Day with my fiancé. Our server Justin was friendly, complimentary, and took perfect care of us. On a busy Saturday night he made us feel like we were the only table he was helping. Thank you Justin!!!

Our waiter Demond was absolutely the best. I aspire to authentically give off good vibes, kindness, and hospitality to both customers and coworkers in the workplace like him. This restaurant's allergy policy is also among the best I've ever seen. You're asked for party allergies before your order gets written down and your order list is double checked with you before hand as well as before you get billed. As for Sortino's itself, oh my! The old school vibes, and oh my goodness the food. The garlic bread and pizza was so dang good oh my lord. Garlic cloves in the bread? Revolutionary. If it's within your financial possibilities and you're looking for a peak premium dining experience, go for this place.

We had a great experience at Sortino’s! Our server Abby was super nice, attentive, and provided excellent service. The food was delicious, arrived quickly, and tasted fresh. Everything looked great and we really enjoyed our meal. Would definitely recommend!

Sortino’s had pretty good food for theme-park food, and I found myself pleasantly surprised by it. The restaurant itself was very loud and decently crowded, but this would’ve been a much lower review if it hadn’t been for the service. Our server, Abby, absolutely blew us away with her attentiveness and little jokes that made our dinner very enjoyable. She was an incredible waitress and the sole reason why this review is five stars.

We were in to celebrate our anniversary and were being taken care of by Jostin. He was an absolute pleasure to have. Very attentive and polite. Was an overall great experience. We didn’t know much about Kalahari so the only downfall for us was the fact we were again celebrating our anniversary and were placed right in between families with small children. Other than that the food and service was great.

After being seated, the server did not come to our table the entire time. We had looked at the menu and selected our appetizers and entre and drinks and still nothing from the server. We had to ask for the server to come over. After taking the order, the food came really fast. Overall the food was good. However, it took a really time to pay the bill since we wanted to just charge it to the room. However, we had spent over the incidental amount changed to our credit card when we checked in. It caused a lot of confusion and took forever for them to figure out.

Service was great - our server was friendly, fun, and patient. A family environment. Their gelatos are always a hit (especially their pistachio 10/10). The seafood fra diovolo which, forewarning is very spicy - but if you’re ok with that, this is a hit 9/10. Chicken penne vodka pizza 7/10. Alfredo 8/10 with broccoli and steak medallions 8/10.

We had such a great experience tonight, and a big part of that was our server. He was incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely attentive throughout the entire meal. He made us feel welcomed from the moment we sat down and checked in just the right amount — always there when we needed something, but never intrusive. You can tell he really cares about providing great service. He was patient, positive, and made the whole evening more enjoyable. It’s rare to find someone who balances professionalism with warmth so effortlessly. We truly appreciated his energy and attention to detail. Thank you for making our night special — we’ll definitely be back!

A wonderful experience from the moment we walked in the front door. The atmosphere was warm and fun. The food was excellent! 3 of the 6 people at our table ordered Pasta Mafia and it was amazing! The only thing that surpassed the food was the service from Jostin. He had an energy that was very positive and was very attentive to our table's needs. He has pride in his job and you can tell he loves what he does. I wish more servers at various restaurants I have been to had Jostin's attitude.

Bread wasn't our cup of tea. We waiting a bit more than usual after being seated. The waitress apologized. Italian soda was very good. I had the Pasta Mafia, it was an amazing combination of flavor although 1 of my 3 medallion were well done while the other 2 were cooked to perfection. My wife had the chicken parmesan and said it was good but we had to send it back due to the noddles being raw. They song happy birthday for my daughters 2nd birthday. They gave us a slice of cheese cake on the house for the raw noodles. The customer service and decor was amazing but I'd trade it for a decent meal at a table of $100. Next time we'll just go to the steak house.

I believe they serve a pre cooked chicken and grill it slightly before serving. It reminded me of canned chicken breast. The bread they serve taste really bad, I would rather have normal garlic bread for dinner. Service was great and the Alfredo sauce was pretty solid. But a pre cooked or boiled chicken is crazy for how much you charge

Food and atmosphere were decent enough. The only bright spot was or server Vanessa. She helped us navigate a frustrating seating situation that no other staff was able to solve. We were grateful for quick thinking, kindness, and willingness to step up. If we were to dine here again, it would be because of her hospitality.

This is our second year in a row to Kalahari during the Holidays. We really enjoyed our Sortino’s meal in 2024 and looked forward to our visit this year too. It seems we jinxed our expectations. Our order was the appetizer platter & chicken pesto pizza. The calamari & shrimp were doused in salt, sufficient to spike a normal person’s BP! Pizza wasn’t creamy (per description) & the grilled chicken was probably frozen. The only saving grace was Tiramisu. In short - underwhelmed & hungry with a $90 bill. 😞 Our server was Sebastian - no issues as such but he was extremely transactional - lacked a connection. At the cost of convenience, we will take our business elsewhere.

8:15pm reservation. Got seated at 9pm. Did not get bread or any water till 920pm. Bread was cold and hard. Also, not all of us got glasses or plates. Waiter finally took our order at 930pm. Entrees started coming in 10:15pm but was very erratic since some of the food came out very quickly but did not. Had to get napkins from another table. No cheese was offerred until we asked but many of us were too hungry to care. I would not recommend this place for large reservations. Food was okay but not worth the money. I would have preferred to have gotten the pizza from the resort for $40 bucks.

We had a reservation and waited over 25 minutes to be served. During that time, we asked two different staff members to please send someone over, but no one ever came. We ultimately walked out due to the lack of service. What was especially disappointing is that this was meant to be a celebratory meal for my daughter after winning her cheer competition. Instead of addressing the issue or checking in, the only thing that happened quickly was our reservation being marked as canceled on OpenTable once we left. Poor customer service and a missed opportunity to make what should have been a special moment.

This was by far the worst meal I’ve had in a long time. The house tomato bread was dry and dense, and the garlic bread we ordered was literally Texas toast on a plate. After waiting almost 40mins for our dinner, we were very disappointed by what they served us. The penne a la vodka was dry and over salted. The Caesar salad “with chicken” had literally boiled chicken on it. I wish I had a photo but we took 2 bites each and left. Paid $150 for this terrible meal with drinks.

A complete and utter waste of ingredients. I am rarely appalled by the preparation of a meal, but I cannot fathom how someone thought the food that we received was ok to put out. I ordered the Chicken Bambino and here is what I got: HALF of an unseasoned (certainly not marinated), very dry baked chicken breast; five shrimp that could’ve benefited from being sautéed in garlic and olive oil, but instead were boiled and naked of any spice. But this entree was not without garlic! Whoever prepared my meal plopped a generous mound of raw garlic on top of what was easily a pound of overcooked pasta. The finishing touch was a flavorless brothy “sauce” which was probably just pasta water. ZERO stars. We were a party of nine and every entree served was this awful. And to make matters worse it took forever for our food to be served. Our servers, who were very nice and did a good job, came to the table three times to apologize for the food taking so long. I am not Italian, but I have eaten enough Italian food in my lifetime to know that this ain’t it. Do better Sortino’s. Your diners don’t deserve this.

Great service overall — very friendly and attentive staff. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite meet my expectations. The pizza and eggplant parmesan were a bit dry, though they were rich in flavor. The pizza, in particular, reminded me of Little Caesars, and I was hoping for a higher quality, at least based on what I ordered. Try the Gelato something place else. Not good.
