Me and my 3 girlfriends did the Slate Belt Tour on 05/18/24 for my 40th Birthday. I have a friend that is in a wheelchair and they were accommodating and provided a small bus that had the wheelchair lift! Also, the bus driver for every stop would help my friend get on and off the bus, and also wheel the chair in and out of each stop! I was very impressed! (Don't worry, they do also have the Trolley if that is what you want, just that its not handicap accessible) The scenery on this tour was beautiful and amazing! I enjoyed the variety, and the fact that there were 2 wineries, a brewery, and a hard cider place! And the brewery had a full lunch menu, also the other stops had food trucks or charcuterie board! Not only that but they charge only $75 a person (before fees) for 4 stops, and other companies I looked at charged $90+ for only 2-3 stops! I suggested this tour to my parents since they also enjoy this kind of thing and its definitely worth the trip! For an extra $25 a person, they will pick you up at your specific hotel (if you cant drive to the destination they list) and drive you back to your hotel! Its totally worth it! VERY VERY happy with this company and had a wonderful time, thank you so much!

We had the best time on the Pocono day tripper hop on hop off wine tour. Peter was the most gracious and accommodating guide and made the experience truly special. He was so informative of the area and well connected with the local businesses allowing him to give us a VIP feel with some behind the scenes tours and chocolate tastings. 10/10 would recommend!!

We had the BEST time using Pocono Day Tripper for a wine tour during a bachelorette party weekend. Peter was so wonderful to plan and work with. He assured me that everyone especially and the bride would have a great time and they did not disappoint. Our driver was Joyce and she made the experience so enjoyable. While planning the trip Peter recommended certain spots which I didn’t know about and they ended up being our favorites. Eagles Rest and silverback distillery were the best. I highly recommend only using this company to plan your tours. 10/10.

Had a wine tour booked with Peter and it was wonderful! We originally signed up for 4 different spots with tastings, and wanted to just stay at one spot because we were having so much fun. Peter was so accommodating and worked with us to make sure we had the best day. It’s not everyday the owner of a company is out working all day on a weekend, but our group really appreciated his professionalism and how much fun he made the trip. We had a wonderful day touring NYC with Peter. He directed the flow of activities for the entire 12 hours and we saw so many landmarks that we would never have seen by ourselves. He gave us the history of each stop as we toured and the transportation met us right at the end of each stop. The van was comfortable but the road conditions really pointed out the need for new shocks on the vehicle. I did the Slate Belt Beverage Trolley for my bachelorette and we all loved it! The staff was friendly and welcoming, we were allowed to play music on the trolley and everyone had fun. The tour stops included wineries, a brewery and cidery which was a perfect variety. All the stops were lovely venues. Highly recommend for any group / celebration! A bonus is that the scenic views along the way were beautiful :)

Peter picked us up at our hotel on a beautiful weather day. Celebration of my husband’s birthday wine tasting. We stopped at 3 winery’s and enjoyed the assortments of wines with lovely views at each of them while sipping on our wine selections. An added bonus was a stop for a drink at a distillery. Also, enjoyed our stop at a chocolate shop having homemade chocolates to nibble on. Go and enjoy!!

The wine tour that we booked with Pocono Day Tripper to celebrate a bachelorette weekend was an incredible experience! It was very well organized, we had plenty of time at each location, and the trolley was so much fun—good music and great energy. Felecia, the “MC”, was so fun and made the day that much more special! The entire experience truly exceeded all expectations. There was a good amount of people on the trolley but she still made each group feel special and looked out for us at each location. She even helped out with photos throughout the day! Quick shoutout to Peter and Pocono Joe for being helpful and communicative. I can’t recommend this wine tour enough!

We had a great experience on the Pocono Day Tripper, and will definitely be back. They were so accommodating with our different pick-up locations, and made the day a breeze. We booked this experience for a bachelorette party and it was so much fun! Felicia, our tour guide was amazing and her partner Clyde, the driver made the trip!!! The wineries were excellent and everyone really enjoyed themselves!!! During the trip, Peter, the owner, took care of transportation for all my girls so we could enjoy our time and get back to our Airbnb safely! Overall, would highly recommend and go again!

NYC in a day. This was a fabulous trip. Our guide Peter took us around the whole city explaining the history behind each area or building. He was so attentive and interacted with us to make sure we all had a good time. We had a group of 7 and he kept his eye on all of us to keep us safe. We took a boat ride under the Brooklyn bridge out to Statue of Liberty, rode the subway, walked thru Central Park, Time Square, 9/11 memorial and many more. There would be no way to see all that we saw on our own. The food choices were perfect. A breakfast sandwich to start the morning, a New York pizza in the afternoon, and ice cream and bakery goodies to end the day. And a shout out to Clyde, our driver who was always there waiting for us as we completed each sight. He is a safe and skilled driver and we enjoyed our interactions with him as well. The trip ended on the New Jersey side looking back as the sun was setting on the city. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. I would take another trip with Peter and Clyde any day.

If I could give a 10 star review, I would!! We booked the NYC day tour through our Wyndham resort in the Poconos. Peter was so nice from the beginning! His bus driver, Clyde was also nice and friendly. They are both from New York City so they were very knowledgeable and were easily able to adapt to traffic issues or closed streets. Peter gave us the history of each place we visited. He loves history and shared so many fun facts with us about Manhattan. My family of 6 had the best time! It was me, my husband, our two daughters and our grandparents. This was a very well planned out tour! In one day we were able to visit all of the main attractions of Manhattan beginning at Central Park and ending at Times Square. Our tour even included a ferry ride to the Statue of Liberty and Subway rides from Grand Central Station. Peter took us to Bleeker Street Pizza which was delicious! We went to Cones Ice Cream shop for some great ice cream. We also went to a bakery and we got to experience the famous Juniors Cheesecakes. Peter even let us take our girls to FAO Schwarz Toy Store at Rockerfeller Center. He was also considerate of our grandparents and had the bus available at times when they needed to sit down. Peter captured so many pictures of our family and we have these memories forever! Thank you Peter and Clyde!! You really made our vacation special and memorable! For those reading this review, take this tour!! You won't be disappointed!!

We had so much fun for my soon-to-be sister-in-law’s bachelorette party! Clyde and Miranda were amazing hosts and we really enjoyed our experience!

The trip covered every major tourist destination you can think of, BUT also included many spots that are not so well known but very interesting. The tour guide knows the best food and dessert shops along the way and there was plenty of time to enjoy a snack. The level of historical knowledge and trivia games along the way was a major delight. The tour was worth every penny. My friends and I were more than thrilled with the experience and results of the tour. The tour guide and the bus driver are more than friendly and very accommodating to flexible itineraries. Your input can determine how the trip operates. It was a great time.

10/10!! Peter was super communicative and worked with our group (bach party) to find the best option for us. Our guide, Felicia, was AMAZING!! Our bride forgot her sash and Felicia stopped into a thrift store while we were at one of the wineries to create/fashion a beautiful makeshift headpiece/sash to make our bride stand out while on our tour! She was charismatic and so sweet and made our experience 1000x better than it already was. On top of all of that, the spots we went on the tour were great! Would certainly do this again.

Me and 8 friends went to the Poconos to celebrate my friends 25th birthday. We decided to visit a few wineries and breweries during the day. Peter (our driver) was so amazing, prompt, and kind. He even had a huge JBL speaker on the bus for us to Jam out and connect to. He carried our cooler and bags onto the bus and it was an overall 10/10 experience. He always reminded us “do you have everything you brought?” after each stop, took group pictures of us when asked, and was just a nice guy. Would highly recommend using Peter and the team. Lots of space on the bus too!

Your knowledge of the area and it's history was such an integral part of this tour. I was amazed at how much you packed into one day. I would recommend this to any wanting to visit NYC. I wish we had had more time to spend in the area. We would have liked to do more tours with Peter.

My wife and I went with my Mom as a spur of the moment thing while we were in PA, late September of 2023. While the weather was not fantastic, Peter and the gang made this a thoroughly enjoyable day. Be prepared , because the day is long and clocked in at around 14 hours from start to finish, but worth every penny. Unlike many tour companies you don't make multiple stops for souvenirs, but there is an opportunity for you to purchase items near the end. This al about exploring Manhattan as with the amount of things you see, there's no going to Brooklyn or the Bronx if that's what you are interested. Groups are small, and intimate which allows the bus to get in and out of places you wouldn't typically get to see. Peter times things very well, allowing you to see Times Square at the optimal time. Although I'd been to NYC before, loved every minute of the tour as he makes it fun, interactive, and engaging. If your on a budget, you are welcome to bring food and drinks but there is lots of opportunity to purchase things along the way without being forced into a position to do so.

My best friend and I took a girls trip to the Poconos to get away over President's Day weekend. We wanted to do a wine tour but not have to worry about drinking and driving and finding an Uber/Lyft in the area. I emailed a few companies to find out if there was any kind of service for a small party of two. Peter was quick to respond and more than happy to accommodate us. He provided a wonderful service . He shared knowledge about the area and the wineries, he customized the stops to our tasting preferences, and provided a safe and friendly environment. We met nearly all of the wineries owners who also had great things to say about Pete. I would highly recommend Peter and the Pocono Daytripper service to anyone interested.

This was so much fun! The tour guide was wonderful and fun! We went to a distillery and 3 wineries that were all amazing. There truly was something for everyone- even those who aren’t big wine drinkers or those who think they don’t like wine (that was me- my hubby is the wine lover, lol!) I loved that they picked us up from the resort we were staying at so we could just sit back and sample all the delicious wines without worrying about driving anywhere later. We definitely will be doing this again the next time we are there.

We had a great time on the daytripper. Joyce arrived on time and with a lot of positive energy. She even looked for tables for us to sit at at the wineries and moved tables so our large group could be together. She took pictures for us and provided our bride with a gift! I would definitely recommend this to others!

We had a very fun day visited several sites in NYC with Peter. It was a full day, with lots of walking; which we liked. The occasional history lessons along the way were nice touches also. The only disappointing thing during our daytrip was the fact that the 911 memorial & museum were closed due to air quality concerns, from the Canadian wildfires smoke. That was by no fault of Pocono Daytripper. Overall, great experience.

Our experience with the Pocono Daytripper was above and beyond anything we ever expected! I was looking for something for a group of moms to do on our Girls Weekend in the Poconos and stumbled across the Pocono Daytripper - and I am so glad I did! Peter was amazing, so accomodating, and truly wanted to make sure our group of women had the best day. We did more than we ever expected to and had a blast the whole time. We visited local wineries, a cidery (which opened just for us!), a distillery, a chocolate shop, the Delaware Water Gap, and he even suggested a place for dinner. What a wonderful experience that I would 10/10 recommend to anyone and definitely book again!

Absolutely loved this trip! The trolley and Felicia especially made our day and kept the whole day so fun and so upbeat! Loved how convenient it was to get to each of the wineries and distillery .Each one of them was unique and had their own things to offer, from the beautiful sceneries to the delicious drinks and live music. The trolley is the only place I know that you can play music and have your own karaoke/dance party en route to the next location!! Highly recommend. The additional shuttle that picked us up from our home and dropped us off, that was also available for an additional cost was great to make sure we arrived home safely. They even provided transportation to and from Sarah street restaurant, after the tour, which was delicious! The only thing we would change is I do wish there was something included with the price at each place. I unfortunately didn’t realize that no drinks or tastings would be provided and any of the locations until after I booked. But overall i would definitely do this again. We had the BEST time!!!

The Daytripper food tour was a very enjoyable experience. We were picked up at our resort room and were chauffeured around town to the three locations - The Silverback Distillery, Willowtree Inn, and the Sycamore Grille. Silverback features signature cocktails with award winning spirits. The bar tender was very attentive and entertaining. The Willowtree Inn and the Sycamore Grille both had great food and service. Our driver was full of helpful tips and knowledge of the area. I would highly recommend this tour.

Peter was amazing to schedule with and so absolutely accommodating. Being able to wnjoy the distillery and wineries without having to worry about driving was the best. We hung out with a great group of people also on the trolley and just had such a good time. The driver, I think her name was Kathy, so sweet and nice! I’m doing it again in May! Peter’s company is the way to go for a safe and enjoyable great time.

We did the wine trolley tour for my bachelorette trip and it was easily the best activity we did! The staff is so fun, they gave us the aux and danced the hot to go dance with us (Clyde included). Annie was so fun and lively, and Carmen was such a sweetheart. We hit 4 stops and they all had different vibes, it was great! I can’t say enough about the Hop-on Hop-off Wine Tour. It was better than we could have imagined thanks to our awesome driver Clyde and guide/hype-woman, Felicia. The wineries and distillery on the tour offered a variety of drink options and most also had food which helped us make it through 6 hours of “sampling” wines. Can I get a Woo-hoo?!?

We did a bachelorette crawl it was AMAZING!!!!! They picked us up and dropped us off at our air bnb, no worries about Ubers. Chrissy was our driver. She was so sweet and accommodating, always taking group pictures and calling the wineries to see who had live music and adjusting our schedule. 5 of my family took this tour while visiting The Poconos. We had a really good time. Charlie & Susan were super guides. Great open field runners - when I80 through The Gap was super backed up, they diverted us to a really scenic route - just beautiful. In Portland, in addition to walking over the Delaware from PA to NJ, we sampled some delicious chocolate and, with the help of Charlie, the local gendarme & some kind locals, my niece & her husband saved a poor pigeon who had a broken leg. All in all, a very memorable trip. Many thanks to Charlie & Susan.

Took ride with Pocono Daytripper to see the holiday lights at Pocono Park. The trolley-car was festively decorated and lit inside, they played Christmas music for the ride up and back, and even handed out cookies! It was so nice with the added bonus of not having to make that drive ourselves in the dark! Lots of fun, thank you.

Took the NYC Pocono Day Tripper and it was wonderful! Peter is very knowledgeable and helpful and Clyde is a great driver in the city, They are both Very accommodating. This was a trip we would suggest to everyone. We saw and did more things than we ever imagined we could do in a days time. Statue of Liberty boat ride, 911 Memorial, special stops and many many more. Our family (13 total) booked a day trip to New York City with Pocono Daytripper. Peter was our tour guide along with Clyde our driver and Annie made sure we stayed together. Our day was fun filled with many sights, including the NYC Library, Central Park, 9/11 Memorial, Pier 57, Plaza Hotel, St. Peter's Cathedral, ferry ride around the Statue of Liberty, Subway ride, Time Square, a walk part-way across the Brooklyn Bridge, and much more. Peter was an amazing tour guide with his knowledge of NYC as well as Annie and of course Clyde kept us safe driving through the city with his previous experience as a public bus driver in NYC. All three of our guides were extremely friendly and comical which made our experience wonderful. Peter, Clyde and Annie made all of us feel like family during the trip. I could not have asked for a better day and better experience in the Big Apple. Peter was super accommodating with our group and patient with our "littles" On a side note my husband wanted a picture with a NYC police officer and Peter made that happen for him (see attached picture) This is the extra special treatment we felt the entire adventure. The bonus places we visited, such as a Wavertree Museum which was next to ferry ride as we had a few extra minutes, that made the trip to NYC that much more special for the family. It was definitely a once in a lifetime trip with the family, although I would love to experience this again at some point in my life. We will never forget our new friends. We also took the Pocono Historic Trolley ride hosted by Charlie, another wonderful tour guide and Clyde our driver again. On this trip we saw many historic towns from the early years of America and visited Belgian Chocolate shop, the chocolate was amazing. Again, another fabulous experience. Finally, Peter made the final evening of our vacation to the Pocono Mountains special by making reservation for our family at Sarah's Grill in East Stroudsburg and providing transportation to the restaurant for a nominal fee so our family could enjoy our final evening together before heading home. This is true "customer service" Thank you so much for going above and beyond during our visit to the Pocono Mountains and NYC. We loved our entire experience with Pocono Daytripper.

I highly recommend the Pocono Day Tripper! I attended a bachelorette party alongside another group of girls and several older couples, and everyone had a blast. Annie and Danny led our wine tour, and they were fantastic. Annie ensured everyone was having a great time and even encouraged us to play music over the trolley's speakers. Once we arrived at each destination, Danny and Annie offered to take group photos, which was a nice touch. Also, last minute our friend couldn’t make it because of COVID, Peter was professional and refunded her immediately. Lastly, an hour at each destination was perfect for our group of five; all locations were different some were big, vibrant, with a lot of seating while others were more intimate. All in all, it was great!

I highly recommend these guys. We spent the whole day on a tour to New York city. They picked us up at 6am and drove us to new York city. We seen all the great sites and they explained everything to us and were very accommodating to all our needs. They were wonderful and we had a great day. They by far exceeded my expectations. Not only did he take us on a great trip around New York! He also gave us great tips to do on other days! Because of him, we were able to see everything in New York! We also went to Philly and saw some amazing things because of his tips! We were able to see two waterfalls close to our hotel because of what he recommended. We had such an amazing experience with Pocono Day Tripper Wine Trolley Tour! From the beginning of the planning process with Peter and his team, to the actual event itself, we were so happy with everything! Our driver, Joyce, was amazing. We had the absolute best day with Pocono Day Tripper! We celebrated our best friend’s bachelorette with 3 great wineries. Peter coordinated the whole day, picking us up at our airbnb and making sure we had plenty of time at each place. This weekend was so special to all of us thank you Peter and the Pocono day tripper team for making it all happen!

My wife and I took the day trip tour to New York city from our resort at Shawnee on Delaware in September. We would like to say that this was the most fabulous tour that we have ever been on. Our host Peter and driver Clyde made our day just incredible. We visited so many places that we can barely remember them all. Suffice it to say, the tour covered most of NY city and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We are still talking about it. The trip even included a boat tour on the Hudson to see the statue of Liberty. It is an all-day tour from the 7 am pick-up at our door to the 10:30 pm drop off back to the resort. Peter has put together an incredible tour package and it's well worth every penny of the cost. Thank you, gentlemen. We will be looking forward to touring with Pocono Daytripper again the next time we visit Shawnee.

He was very informative (not just with history, but also local shops and restaurants to try out) and also enthusiastic enough to keep our young boys interested and engaged! The tour guide and driver did a great job. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The day we toured there was an accident and they had to make changes on the fly so that we could see everything. Tour was a great way to see the sites. The only thing I had a problem with is the website and ads have the wrong address. Tickets that were emailed had the correct address but was confused by the brochures and ads. We made the tour just in time and the guide was great.

After the first stop, she found out about an issue making the plan for our second stop to be difficult, and rearranged the plan to make the best situation. They even made reservations for dinner. Overall best decision! I would recommend requesting Chrissy as well.

I recently booked a wine tour for my sister’s bachelorette through Peter who was super informative and easy to reach. On day of, our driver Joyce was the best! She was fun, helpful, and very punctual! She made sure we hit all the good spots to cover our day and got us to our dinner reservation on time. She also took pictures of our day to capture all the memories and we could not have asked for a better driver and day! Thank you to the staff we appreciated it, and was a great party addition for my sister’s weekend!

This was an amazing tour of three wineries and a distillery! We visited the distillery first that served mostly bourbon-type liquors, followed by a winery in the downtown area (amazing wines!) where the owner chatted with us about the establishment for awhile, a smaller winery that had a local musician playing guitar and signing, and a much larger winery that had amazing wines and great pizza. The service at all the establishments was outstanding and very friendly. Peter, the owner of the trolley tour, was very friendly and great about getting folks to where they needed to go. We had the additional entertainment on board of a group of six young ladies on a bachelorette party -- fun!

Our family of 6 took a day trip to New York City with Peter. It was fabulous!! We got to see so many of the major sites in just one day. We learned about NYC and the history of many of the locations. Things came up and Peter adjusted our schedule flawlessly and without any stress. The driver did an awesome job of getting us where we needed to be safely. Be prepared for walking for miles, but it is well worth it, and there are many times to take a break and rest. Peter takes great care of everyone and is flexible and friendly. Definitely the best part of our vacation!!

My wife and I were lucky enough to take a private winery tour with Pocono Daytripper. Mr. Luck has a wealth of knowledge about the Pocono area and the local wineries. Not only did he show us an amazing view of the Delaware Water Gap. He also provided a lot of information on how it was formed, and explained the history of events that took place throughout the years. He also has a long standing relationship with each winery owner, so you are greeted very well and given the five star treatment at all times. Not only were we given tastings of the exquisite wines available. We were also given a tour of how the wine is made from the initial process, to the labeling and corking of the bottles. We had a truly amazing time from start to finish. If you want the best tour of the Poconos, look no further than Pocono Daytripper. You will have an outstanding time.

We really enjoyed the historical trolley tour. It was nice to be able to just look and not have to drive plus having a tour guide to give you local information makes it easier to understand what you’re seeing. It was great fun and the driver and guide were very nice and helpful.

What an amazing tour!! Peter was incredable with coordinating our tour. He helped me custimize locations for all 10 of my sisters bachelorette party guests. We ended up choosing Richmond Farm Brewery, Hardball Cider, Silverback Distillery, Renegade Winery and had tastings at all of them. They were all wonderful places. All staff were attentive to our needs and were very nice to us. Our tour bus driver, Kathy, was the best. She took great pictures for us throughout the entire tour. We all had an amazing time. We had an absolute blast on the hop-on hop-off wine trolley! Getting picked up and dropped off at our Airbnb made everything so easy - we could fully relax and enjoy the day without worrying about driving. The trolley itself was a party on wheels! I highly recommend the Pocono Day Tripper! I attended a bachelorette party alongside another group of girls and several older couples, and everyone had a blast. Annie and Danny led our wine tour, and they were fantastic. Annie ensured everyone was having a great time and even encouraged us to play music over the trolley's speakers. Once we arrived at each destination, Danny and Annie offered to take group photos, which was a nice touch. Also, last minute our friend couldn’t make it because of COVID, Peter was professional and refunded her immediately. Lastly, an hour at each destination was perfect for our group of five; all locations were different some were big, vibrant, with a lot of seating while others were more intimate. All in all, it was great!

Our family (13 total) booked a day trip to New York City with Pocono Daytripper. Peter was our tour guide along with Clyde our driver and Annie made sure we stayed together. Our day was fun filled with many sights, including the NYC Library, Central Park, 9/11 Memorial, Pier 57, Plaza Hotel, St. Peter's Cathedral, ferry ride around the Statue of Liberty, Subway ride, Time Square, a walk part-way across the Brooklyn Bridge, and much more. Peter was an amazing tour guide with his knowledge of NYC as well as Annie and of course Clyde kept us safe driving through the city with his previous experience as a public bus driver in NYC. All three of our guides were extremely friendly and comical which made our experience wonderful. Peter, Clyde and Annie made all of us feel like family during the trip. I could not have asked for a better day and better experience in the Big Apple. Peter was super accommodating with our group and patient with our "littles" On a side note my husband wanted a picture with a NYC police officer and Peter made that happen for him (see attached picture) This is the extra special treatment we felt the entire adventure. The bonus places we visited, such as a Wavertree Museum which was next to ferry ride as we had a few extra minutes, that made the trip to NYC that much more special for the family. It was definitely a once in a lifetime trip with the family, although I would love to experience this again at some point in my life. We will never forget our new friends. We also took the Pocono Historic Trolley ride hosted by Charlie, another wonderful tour guide and Clyde our driver again. On this trip we saw many historic towns from the early years of America and visited Belgian Chocolate shop, the chocolate was amazing. Again, another fabulous experience. Finally, Peter made the final evening of our vacation to the Pocono Mountains special by making reservation for our family at Sarah's Grill in East Stroudsburg and providing transportation to the restaurant for a nominal fee so our family could enjoy our final evening together before heading home. This is true "customer service" Thank you so much for going above and beyond during our visit to the Pocono Mountains and NYC. We loved our entire experience with Pocono Daytripper.

We booked the winery tour in PA and was told we'd be picked up around 11:50. We didn't get on the road till almost 12:30, had to stop and pick up more people over 25 minutes away. My friends and I were a little annoyed because it seemed very unorganized. BUT It ended to be a great time, everyone was very nice and all the wineries/breweries and distillery were great. It was a fun time

we did the wine tour and we are definitely going to plan another trip. Clyde our driver was fantastic! he explained everything to us. he had a speaker ready for all of us to jam out. drinks aren't included but it felt great not having to drive around to the wineries and just relax. we had a great bunch and that's what made it so amazing. so glad we did this.

My friend and I tried the tour of pocono food tour. Felicia our driver was amazing… she’s a real hoot. We had a cocktail to start. Then moved on to our next destination where we had an appetizer and entree to split. And at our last stop we had another entree and dessert. The food was good at all the stops. It was nice having a driver and having the night planned out for us.

Very easy to schedule the trip & friendly drivers. We enjoyed both tours and only gave 4 stars because we would have liked less wineries on second tour and more breweries or distilleries. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend both tours!

We had an absolute BLAST on our Pocono Wine Tour! The Wineries were Wonderful with lots of choices. UNFORTUNATELY, the Trolleys were broken down this day and our groups had to go on 2 separate buses. Our Bus Driver, Phil, was very nice and friendly. My only complaints were the lack of Trolleys, and that I probably would have ended with the largest Winery. Had I known beforehand that the last wineries were smaller, I would've bought more wine at the first one. All in all, it was a lovely day and a lovely trip!

Our day started off terrible. After waiting 1hour, and numerous phone calls to contact; Peter, we found out we were at the wrong pick up address which was given to us. He did come and pick us up in his personal vehicle and took us to the first winery since we missed the trolley. But, the rest of the day was fun. The wineries and trolley were fun! Please confirm your pick up address before you arrive for your trolley experience.

We were pretty excited to explore the history of the local surrounding towns for this tour. Unfortunately there were a few hiccups that prevented it from being a great experience. The first thing is that there was some confusion with the location that the trolley was supposed to leave from the website gave one location and the ticket said another. Second upon arrival we learned that the trolley which is the main reason why we chose this tour had broken down and we had to take a small shuttle bus which was so uncomfortable and bumpy and did not give the same allure that we were expecting. The third issue was that the main person who does the tour did not show up for work. The woman who took over for the day was so sweet and did her best but she was driving, looking on the iPad for information, and her phone kept distracting her. This made us feel a little unsafe. I had wished that this was to be a better experience but will take it for what it was because we did get to see and learn some very interesting things about the surrounding area and it gave us an afternoon out.

I really really really want to give this more stars but I can’t. This was my bachelorette weekend, so disappointed is an understatement. We arrive to the hotel and it’s a shuttle, not a trolley. Other reviews say that they were warned it wasn’t going to be a trolley and they had the option for a refund and to make it clear, I was never warned or made aware about this. For the price of $84 a person, you’d expect something more than transportation would be included. The website gives such little detail that when we arrived to the first stop we thought that maybe a tasting here or there would be something ANYTHING included. So $84 just to have a ride from place to place as we could’ve done that ourselves for free with a DD. The bus guide, Danny, was great, but honestly just save your money and figure out a DD and stop at all of the places mentioned.

We reserved the 22 person shuttle to transport our wedding party from the location where we got ready to a local park, then to the church and back to our reception venue. Per Peter's descriptions, we chose the 22 person shuttle in order to ensure we had air conditioning. The following is directly from the email I sent Peter: "There were multiple things that happened that were far below our expectations of your shuttle service. First of all the inside of the shuttle was in very worn condition (my fault for not asking to see the inside, but I did expect more since I was requesting this for our wedding). Additionally, the air conditioning barely worked at all (the driver assured us the "air" was up all the way) which resulted in a very warm/hot drive (I was quite warm in my sleeveless wedding dress and all the groomsmen/my husband/my father were very hot in their suits). Most importantly, however, the shuttle itself had a very difficult time getting up hills! We were actually worried people were going to have to get out and walk or that we were going to break down. I gave you the locations in advance and it should have been clear that we would be traveling up (and subsequently) down hills. Going uphill, the shuttle kept downshifting and at one point I think we were barely going 7mph up the hill. This caused a significant delay in getting to our locations (the park in particular) and we were actually late for the church as a result! Additionally, going down hills, the brakes heated up so bad and the awful smell came into the shuttle. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience." The only reason I gave two stars was because the driver was very polite and seemed to be working with the best he had at the time.

Paid $95 for a shuttle bus. NOT a trolley. We were NOT told it was going to be a shuttle. When we got on it we were confused and they said, “It’s going to take you to the same places”. So would an Uber but that’s why we paid $700 for a trolley. Before we got on it we were even told: “We are just waiting on the white trolley”. Once we got on the shuttle and it started moving we were told the trolley was broken and we wouldn’t be taking it. I do not appreciate no compensation for this when we asked about it.

Do not waste your money on the Slate Belt Wine Trolley tour offered by Pocono Daytripper. The website makes it seem like you’ll be enjoying a scenic wine tour on a charming trolley. In reality, we were picked up in an old, rickety white school bus that looked—and felt—like it belonged in a junkyard. There was a cooler of Gatorade on board, but no charm, no class, and worst of all—the air conditioning stopped working on a 90-degree day. It was miserably hot and uncomfortable the entire ride. We paid $85 per person ($190 total for two), expecting at least some sort of guided experience or included tastings. When we arrived at the first winery (which was, thankfully, beautiful), I asked the bus driver what to do. He said, “Just go inside, show them your wristband, and you can drink from any station.” I did exactly that, and the first staff member I spoke to told me it was $30 to taste. She then said, “PeTe doesn’t include anything in his package—you just paid $190 for a ride.” And she was right. To make matters worse, we saw an actual trolley at Blue Ridge Estate & Vineyards—but it’s not owned by Pete or affiliated with this tour at all. It was a completely separate, legitimate operation. My advice? Drive yourself directly to Blue Ridge Estate & Vineyards. It’s beautiful, has live music, and is worth the visit. The other three stops on this so-called “tour” are mediocre at best and not worth your time or money. Don’t be fooled by the marketing. You’re not getting a trolley. You’re not getting tastings. You’re getting an overheated bus ride and a very expensive lesson in false advertising.

I hate to leave bad reviews, I'm just feeling a bit scammed by this place. The main reason I booked was the high ratings, so I felt confident going into this. However their white trolley was in the shop. I asked 4 times where the trolley was before they finally told me. No mention of this even though Peter called the day before to get me to pay more for him to pick us up. I can't stand pushy men, he also followed us into our rental, when my friend insisted on carrying the pizza. If you are a woman planning a bachelorette, maybe think twice. Update: I also filed a complaint with the attorney generals office. This kind of false advertisement needs to be stopped, a communication about the trolley is the only thing I expected. This is worded no where that a shuttle will be used in place of a trolley. Update 2: A refund would've been impossible because we weren't told ahead of time of this bait and switch. I didn't know the trolley was in the shop till after he picked us up and we were on the shuttle. Bachelorettes, Think twice, this business is skeezy.

Advertised as a trolly ride but was picked up in a shuttle that was not even close to what was advertised. The seat was ripped up, the window was about to fall off the bus as we were driving. We asked about the trolly and were told it was in the shop. This was not communicated before hand and we were upset since we anticipated a nice clean trolly for our bachelorette weekend. We also paid $100 per person for the tour and to be picked up at our hotel, we could have at least been informed about this. We were told the pick up time was 11am and did not get picked up until 11:30am. It was not communicated until 11am that our eta for pick up was changed. We were on the bus for an hour and a half before reaching the first destination. When we expressed our complaints, we were only offered the option to get a full refund and be left at the first location… 45 minutes away from our hotel, with no way to get back. Advertised as a trolly ride but was picked up in a shuttle that was not even close to what was advertised. The seat was ripped up, the window was about to fall off the bus as we were driving. We asked about the trolly and were told it was in the shop. This was not communicated before hand and we were upset since we anticipated a nice clean trolly for our bachelorette weekend. We also paid $100 per person for the tour and to be picked up at our hotel, we could have at least been informed about this. We were told the pick up time was 11am and did not get picked up until 11:30am. It was not communicated until 11am that our eta for pick up was changed. We were on the bus for an hour and a half before reaching the first destination. When we expressed our complaints, we were only offered the option to get a full refund and be left at the first location… 45 minutes away from our hotel, with no way to get back.
