Cheddar's for Valentines day with my 15 year old daughter was awesome! Great food at a great price. We checked in for a table and we were told that it would be a 90 minute wait. Determined to make this dinner date happen we waited for the table and to our surprise it only took about 20 minutes to be seated. Now that's what I call service! Thanks Cheddar's we will be back for more of that awesome menu...

I brought my family who was visiting from Eastman Georgia to this location and we really enjoyed ourselves. The food was really good and the restaurant was clean. Our server Jasmine was excellent!

Great experience. The server was awesome and the food tasted so good. The buffalo chicken wrapper was delicious. Allt more food then i expected which just means leftovers for dinner 😁 been coming to Chedders for years and decided to try something different today and wasn't disspointed

Had lunch here yesterday and wanted to just rave a bit. First of all our server, Dajasha B, was fantastic! Personable, competent, and extremely pleasant and helpful. Second, the food was really the best meal I've had in a restaurant in years. Fresh, so tasty, beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. I just would like to say thank you so much for such a pleasant surprise. We'll certainly be back.

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Checked on us regularly without being over-intrusive. Food was fresh, tasty, and served at the right temperature. A great place for comfort foods with a few specialty options. A reliable and regular restaurant to visit again and again.

We enjoyed our food! Unfortunately, the pot pie was a little dry, but our server was very attentive and amazing. I didn't get the gentleman's name, but the service was wonderful; we will come back!

This Cheddar's is always busy! I was told the wait time would be 45 minutes but it was more like 25-30 minutes which was great! Our server was very nice. Order came out quickly and the food was good. Those honey butter croissants are the devil but so good!

First time eating at this chain while in the Dallas area for the eclipse. Quite a long line of customers waiting when we arrived at 6pm on Sunday, but we had gone online and placed ourselves on the wait list. Waited 5 minutes to be seated. Large restaurant with paddle style ceiling fans and a big aquarium. Lots of staff on duty and they were all working hard. Our waiter was Jacob. Friendly, efficient and fast. 2 complimentary butter croissants arrive at your table within the minutes of you being seated. We ordered the queso dip and homemade tortilla chips. A large basket of hot chips arrived with a dish of piping hot queso and another dish of salsa. I ordered the half rack of ribs with grilled shrimp, and roasted corn. I paid 99 cents to upgrade my other side dish to a dinner salad. Dan ordered a small sirloin steak (6oz) with coleslaw and a dinner salad. The arrival of the apperizers and the main meal was well paced. The side salads were huge, like an entree salad, and were excellent. Crisp cold lettuce with tomatoes, cheese, shaved carrots and croutons. I felt full after eating the appetizer and salad. The entrees were equally impressive. The ribs were very meaty and the bbq sauce was perfect, not too tangy and not too sweet. The 4 grilled shrimp were cooked perfectly and had good seasoning. The corn was buttery and had good seasoning as well. Dan's steak was cooked a perfect medium with a pink center. He was happy he ordered the 6oz steak because there was so much food. The coleslaw was creamy, cold and sweet (perfect, because i hate vinegar based sour coleslaw). We were too full to consider dessert, even after we saw a giant slab of chocolate cake go by with vanilla ice cream. All the employees were friendly and attentive, even though it was extremely busy. This is a very family friendly restaurant as well, with quite a few large tables. The table next to us had 14 people, and i saw that they were getting excellent service. Overall, highly recommended for quality of food, portion size, and very economical. Our meal was $44 before adding the tip. This is unheard of elsewhere in the US.

Had Valentine's Day and my one year anniversary with my boyfriend there on February 14th 2026 had my best friend and her husband there celebrating Valentine's Day We had an amazing waitress or food was on point even with how packed it was our lady made sure that we were taking care she was cool down to earth and honest Small things that happened that happened when you're extremely busy and one person dealing with multiple tables but ultimately it was an amazing experience and time

When I say I love me some cheddar. I mean, I love me some cheddars. Their ribs are always fall off. The bone for me and that is one of my favorite dishes. Ever since they took their splasagna off the menu. This has always been one of those hidden gems for me. They're painkiller with a extra shot. Of the room that comes in.It is absolutely fantastic!!! A definite must try!! Love the bartenders!!!!

Thank you guys for your affordable meals. My family is in town this week. They just arrived today & they were ready to eat after the long road trip. I rarely leave reviews but, this is the exception. We just had the best waitress ever. Her name was Kandace and she was awesome. She greeted us immediately and took our drink orders right away. She returned quickly and answered any and every question about the menu with expertise. The appetizer was out quickly and the food followed in good time. She was so pleasant and smart. I would return just for her alone. Good job Chedders hiring a superstar!

Cheddar has upgraded big time. The Butter Croissants they serve, instead of the chips, was such a game changer, they were DELICIOUS!. The croissants just melt in your mouth and leave you with a smile. I ordered a burger ,it looked delicious and juicy. However, the patty did lack seasoning and character, but i still ate it because it was still edible. My partner got a grilled cheese . The toasty buttery grilled cheese was the best grilled cheese i have ever eaten, so simple , but im glad Cheddars didnt mess it up. I Would love to see if Cheddars could add sweet potatoes fries to their menu, if so, i would be there every week. Plenty of parking and can be very busy on the weekends. The restaurant was clean and the workers were so kind and nice, they deserve to be treated kind everyday. Overall , i enjoyed my food and the new experience after years of not eating there.This location has managed to upgrade and run their business better. I will be coming back for another yummy lunch.

Great spot for comfort food and a true family-style restaurant. I always go for the chicken fried steak, and it never disappoints. The staff is kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere is relaxed—perfect for a casual meal. On top of that, the portions are generous and the prices are hard to beat. Brought my kids on a Saturday afternoon and wait time was minimal (15 minutes). Our server Arturo was very attentive and kind. My kids got kids meals and I got the the tenders with steak food was fresh and good. The steak was at exact temperature. Lemonades were fresh and good. This is one of the few cheddars locations that is worth visiting.

The food & the service were fine. Although it was cool outside, it was somewhat cool inside. Thankful that the air was turned down upon request. Did their veggie option with the baked potatoe soup. Wife did a different option.

The food was excellent- but the service was amazing! Our server Joshua was hands down the best server I have ever had, anywhere! He was on top of our large group’s needs before we even asked! Refills appeared before we even knew we were halfway out, and everything was made to order the correct way without him writing a single order down. The only negative we experienced is there was not a changing table in the women’s restroom and we had a young infant with us. We look forward to returning here again.

The wait time to get table is long, busy on a Sunday around noon. However, great service from our waitress, she was courteous, friendly and attentive. Excellent customer service! Food was delicious. We had a party of 10 with kids celebrating birthdays and she did great job getting everyone's food and kept up with refills.

One of a kind experience 1000% of the way! The vibes were very good, the food was absolutely delicious and filling (definitely try the ribs and steak combo with a side of the broccoli casserole). Our waitress/server Tiara was very warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the menu items and all around, gave some of the best service I've ever experienced out of all the places I have visited to eat. She sold me on a few things I definitely need to try once I come back. Definitely worth coming out! :)

I visited here on Veteran's Day which is a very hard day for me and our waitress was amazing...I hate that I cannot remember her name but she was great. She made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us periodically and was very nice about getting us to go plates and our desserts to go. The food was awesome and on point. It has been awhile since I have been to Cheddar's. The atmosphere was pleasant for a Saturday afternoon. The waitress was attentive. They serve you warm buttery croissants. Delicious. I had the chicken pot pie. It was rustic and so hearty and delicious. It came with a salad. It was fresh. The portions was generous. Then before you leave they give a compliment croissant . The price was not expensive but very reasonable. I will be back. I was highly impressed with the service and food. Simply delicious

There was definitely a wait, but this is to be expected at any restaurant that’s worthy of it. Cheddars is a consistently good choice, the food is fresh and always yummy. The drinks never miss. The service was excellent, we had a late dinner around 8p and we ended up chatting and catching up until closing time around 11pm. I can appreciate the feeling of being able to do that. I know some places it’s important for the wait staff to turn around their tables for higher profit but there were plenty of tables available by the time we finished dinner. The waitress gave us the space to just relax. Girls night was a success, thank you cheddars Mesquite

Cece took care of me and my party of 7. We came in after my brother's orchestra concert at Poteet High. She took our drink orders quickly and came back to check on us often. The croissants are amazing, we all got a second order of it, super soft and topped with honey butter that just goes so well with it. Cheese bites were good too! For entrees, me party ordered chicken tenders, fried fish, grilled chicken pecan salad, and ribs. All cooked to perfection and very delicious. Although the chicken tenders aren't the same as what I've had before. The breading seemed to be too thick and the tenders were small; before, it was a thin coat of breading and the tenders were bigger. We came around 8pm, they close at 9pm, so maybe they were getting ready to close for the day?

Drinks with the coworkers. Drinks were excellent. We were there before 7pm on a Friday night and there was no wait time, we got a table immediately upon walking in. Decided to get dinner as well. Food was pretty good too.

This Cheddar's was okay. Our first attempt at ordering from this restaurant was an epic failure. I spoke with the manager, Herbert, and he was very helpful and made things right the next night. Therefore, I changed my review from 3 to 4 stars.

Decided to give this place a 2nd chance. Better service this time around. Ordered the blackened salmon on rice with steamed broccoli and a Cesar salad. My salad came with my food. Other then that it was ok, I may come back again.

Food isnt as tasty as it used to be but i give it 7/10. The Ribs seemed to be boiled then baked they were ok. The broccoli casserole was so dry I had to get my drink. That chicken was nasty! But the fires were good. Our server was Pooh and she was really GREAT! Even though she was very busy she made sure she took really good care of us.

Get the rolls, very delicious. The service was great. We had a crowd of 4 adults and 4 children. The wait for a table was long, but the food was good. The potato soup had very good flavor and so did my chicken pasta Caesar salad. My grandchildren enjoyed the Mac and cheese. One order was enough for two.

We had went to Cheddar’s in Mesquite Texas and it was pretty good. Atmosphere is great, cleanliness is awesome. I had Tilapia and Shrimp with Coleslaw (awesome) and corn. my wife had Tilapia green beans (she did not like it) and corn. I would say 4.0 from a 5.0 star. It was the green beans and they did not refresh my soda. We will be back..

I don’t come to this location often due to the wait time being super super high. It’s like the only Cheddar’s that’s close to mesquite, balch springs, Sunnyvale, and seagoville.... so it’s a lot of high traffic. The restaurant it’s self is decent, I’ve never came and had bad service from the staff. Today I ordered the cheddars trio sampler, it was a lot of food and it came out super fast! Bathroom was clean. our waitress was kinda slow but nothing major to complain about. Only thing I didn’t like is they need to wipe the walls in the booth, and there were little gnats flying around! Besides that I’ll still come back- Wheezy (s/n they say the PAIN KILLER is the strongest drink and only let you get 2, depending on your alcohol in take it’s not that strong for 7.99 you’re better off with a regular margarita)

Food is pretty okay. The place on the inside is very decent and the servers are a hit or miss depends on who you get some are wonderful and pleasant. Meanwhile others, you have no idea how they remain working with people. Overall its okay, if your looking for a decent affordable meal.

Overall, a great experience. The burger was great and service was good. Only thing that could have been better were the fries being a little bit hotter.

Have to admit, haven't been here for a minute. Found the atmosphere and service was not onpar. However, this time around, it was much much better! Ariana was a great server! She was very attentive and gracious. She also had a large party but didn't skip a beat on service. We'll done! Picked up a to go order today and customer service was mediocre.Im used to the to go team smiling and doing checking my order with me.Today my food was just handed to me with no double checking and also i requested utensils and they were forgotten.Presentation of food could’ve been better as well.

We ordered take out and the wait time was 25 minutes. We were there at 11 am, so it wasn't busy. We waited in the bar area. There isn't a place sit aside for this. Next time we'll call it in. But, the food was just ok. Carrotts and bread was missing but we checked before we left. Not up to their usual standards.

Went there about 3:30 pm and was seated in the bar area. There was 4 unbussed tables and dishes on the bar. They were not too busy, approximately 4 or 5 tables being occupied. Our waitress came right over and took our drink order. When the drinks came she took our food order. The food was good and correct. After being here for an hour we saw our waitress bussing tables and cleaning here area. We asked to see the manager (Joel), he came to our table and we explained to him about the dirty tables and told him how good our waitress was. He said he hasn't been out of the office for a minute. We told him we had been there for an hour and haven't seen him. When he left he started to buss two tables but didn't finish.

We waited and Hour and a half for a table for 2 but that was ok because the food was amazing. The best honey butter bread and spinach dip. I had the tilapia and shrimp. The tilapia was great but the shrimp were a bit overcooked. My girlfriend had the New Orleans Pasta as usual and loved it. I went with the Maui Margarita.... Never again. The classic margarita is much stronger. Our server was quick and accurate. Will be back on a less busy night.

Well, let's see. The chips were dry and tasteless and spinach cheese dip was not good. It was very watery and no flavor at all. Honey croissant was aight. I don't understand the hype. I had the Monte Cristo was pretty good , they had flavor and warm. You can't go wrong with ham and cheese., But if you do, take it off the menu, Th stack of ribs were very good my sis had that. She smiling. Ribs were finger licking good. But the worst part there was piece of hair on the bowl of the spinach dip. Over all the service was good.

It was disappointing. We waited over 15 minutes to see a waitress to order drinks. We ordered an appetizer, then placed our dinner order after we got our drinks. We were finished eating our dinners before our appetizer was brought out. It was the wrong item. It wasn't super busy either.

Not a fan of Cheddars. I'll give this Cheddars in Mesquite a 3 🌟🌟🌟's, due to their Awesome drinks and the food was good. Our waitress was horrible. Either a new waittess or she's become to comfortable with her job. Never brought our food, another server did, walked past our table numerous times never refilled water nor ask if all was ok or needed anything. Me personally Cheddars would NOT be my first choice to go eat out at. Again the food and drinks were great, BUT THE SERVICE S**KS!!!! 👎👎👎

Waitress was good she was very busy but still got us anything we needed. Chicken was overcooked pasta kinda bland. Ribeye was very fatty. Croissants are the best part of this restaurant. Would come back just for them.

I can say the food was amazing but the waitress is very rude. The food brought out from a different waitress which was more rude. The waitress who waited on us was like bothered we sat in her section. 1 please take your time to pick the pot pie it’s so good recommended it 2 the wrap as are perfect in a kick of good spice 3 it kinda had a smell if someone was smoking the wrong stuff when we walk in and could just been outside air But overall remember the staff is always worked hard. But always put a smile on your face when serving and be kind. Sometimes us as customers can be going through stuff. Food was amazing and the last lady we spoke to was very kind and very nice..

The food is middling, the servers spend a lot of time talking amongst themselves, and the booths felt like they're pushing you out of your seat. 🤷

Food was good but waited a long time. Asked to be moved because it was freezing cold where we were sitting the air condition was blowing us. The server acted like it was a big deal, told us we would have to get back in line which we already waited 40mins, for us wait another hour to move to another table. Customer service sucks bad.

We were assigned to our table and literally wait there another 20 min just for someone ask us what drinks do we want, but another family sit down right after us and they got help much faster than us. I feel that the waitress didn't help us out and did not gave us a good service because we are Hispanic, some how I felt she was like racist, very disappointed. We are the same doesn't where we come from, at least the food was delicious.

I love Cheddars as a restaurant in general. This location is just inconsistent. On my last visit, I ordered one of my favorites, the New Orleans pasta, and was very disappointed. The cream was very watery and sitting on the bottom of the container, so the noodles and the chicken had virtually no sauce and no flavor.

You missed the mark today, Cheddars. My mistake was ordering the tilapia and shrimp with garlic sauce. The food looked good, but the taste was another story. For my 2 sides, I ordered the broccoli casserole, which was ok and the corn. Well, somehow, my corn morphed into fries, which were dead cold. Not hot or even warm, DEAD COLD. My entire meal was ruined due to the amount of salt. I was starving, so I battled through the taste. Lately the food here has left me feeling like I had made a mistake coming here and today just added another check mark. I think we can put this place to rest. No more cheddar or at least this location.

There was no host at the front, had to speak to bartender to get a host which took about 10 min. They wanted us to wait 15 min to get a booth after waiting for over 10 min. Our appetizers were mixed up twice. The server was nice and was tending to our requests. We were understanding as she was working 3 tables at the moment. The food was good until the rice was eaten it was either undercooked or overcooked. Overall, I understand its a weekday and late at night (8pm), but please be observant of people walking in and making sure things are taken care of

Service was great, our waitress Miranda was a sweetheart.I had the special- sirloin with baked potato and broccoli sides. I asked for medium rare, got medium. No biggie. But the potato though was a question mark. A rotten one indeed. What a shame.

Ordered online for delivery via the website as it's an option on their website. Put in our order, then received a text that it couldn't be completed. Called the restaurant to place an order for delivery, and was told they cannot take an order over the phone, that we must use Uber Eats. Go onto Uber Eats and they are not listed on Uber Eats at all. 👎

First time visiting, but it's not the best experience. I ordered the appetizer shrimp, which was not the same as the picture on the menu for the price. The manager really tried to convince me that they were the same. NOPE! The drink I ordered was good. Allow me to remind everyone that covid is still around. Don't get lax on how you are treated, your food served, and / or server. Don't be afraid to ask for something if it isn't right. It's about your health. If you see something that doesn't feel right, please speak up! 🍷

I am absolutely disgusted, dissatisfied and very disappointed with this order! What kind of salad is this! Very soggy and old lettuce. (Whatever lettuce they did put it was mainly carrots tomatoes and croutons) the rest of the food was decent but considering this was one of my sides I will not be back. Not to mention this could make someone sick if ingested. Wow Cheddars!!!

This Cheddars is Trash! Every time I decide to give them another chance, I am reminded just how down hill this establishment has gone. The food is terribly cold even though I arrive before pick up time. The desserts were missing items. Everything is thrown together with little to no concern on presentation. Cheddars locations are closing down all over town and its doesn’t take an Einstein to see why. This will be my last visit as my hard earned dollars will be better spent elsewhere. Good Riddens!!

I saw this waitress, take dirty water glasses off on the table, put water in them and then give them to other patrons. She did it so much I started Recording her doing it.

They have roaches . I wss here with my friend and upon sitting down at the table he felt some crawling on his leg and he looked. It was a roach and we did tell management. They gave us our food free, but that was about it.

I picked up a to go order Monday December 22nd for my child. The chicken strips were raw with a crunch on the outside and some Sad, low down individual made the strawberry Lemonade with water and added the flavor to it. We need to start normalizing backhanding these food workers!!!

The only decent tasting part of this meal were the appetizers. The croissants were complimentary and it was clear as to why they were. Horrible and they over glazed them with I’m guessing the honey butter which never fully melted. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were boxed and they added old potatoes to make them more “homemade”. The fries were sad & the chicken was eh. Another restaurant that has gone downhill.

Everything was going fine until I went into the women’s restroom and saw three workers in the same stall playing around. Mind you, these are servers who have tables. When they came out of the stall, NONE of them washed their hands before going back to work. This was extremely unsanitary and completely unacceptable.

Did Togo for two chicken salads and spinach dip. Well you can tell that they don’t clean their lettuce because as we made it home my mother had a huge bug in hers and it was moving but stuck to the chicken. If my mom hadn’t been looking properly she could’ve tossed the salad with dressing and ate it. We were both completely disgusted and immediately went back up there but before doing so I tore to call, the young lady over the phone said “okayyy what do you want me to…..” I hung up immediately by the way she said it there was no concern atall, The manager that was called to the front immediately took the food and didn’t even try to check it out.He did start the refund process which takes 3-5huis days with card and apologized but it was like they already knew or have had this issue previously. So disgusting I will never touch order a salad anywhere ever again and especially won’t be giving this restaurant my money anymore.

I order the 14 oz ribeye, my it was flavorless ( I add Tabasco, salt and pepper) to make ir eatable but it was very chewy and more fat then meat , the can green beans and the corn surprisingly taste good and don’t let me forget the butter croissant pretty good

After waiting 40 minutes for our server to come back my first order was cold. Talk with manager really nice guys. Had them remake it and put a rush on it ... still took 20 min. My husband and kids had already went to the car because they were done and my toddler was restless... they brought this order out to go for me and as I was eating it in the car it taste funny I shined a light on it only to realize it’s not even cooked all the way... I’m really disgusted. I spent 2 hours here not to even eat. Smh server was horrible... and she didn’t even care. Went MIA for 20+ min off the floor I didn’t see her at all... people next to us sat down before us and didn’t get their food til 15 min before we did , she was their server too.

The pasta was very good but unfortunately after taking a couple of bites I found a fly in it.

I feel like Cheddars used to be a great spot for dates or casual dinners but started lacking a few years ago when it comes to hospitality, quality and taste of food. The Server seemed to have bit of a attitude, kept walking off before we could finish what we were saying and we constantly had to ask her to come back to our table in order to get our order taken, get refills and condiments once we we did get our meals. The entire Dinner was just rather unpleasant and I will not be returning . Im not sure who does the hiring but getting good service/ a good waiter/ waitress is always a hit and miss.

Food was delicious as always on the other hand the server idk her name I want to say she said it was Ashley but she was very rude and acted as if we was an inconvenience for her! She came to our table smelling like a carton of Marlboro reds. Not only when we sat down we was never greeted by anyone we had to flag a server down and ask if we even had one. Then when we got our food my husband waited for his gravy over 10 mins again we had to get the MOD to get us the gravy not one time did she ask if we wanted a refill never checked on us through our meal not once! Our bill was 82.00 dollars and no I didn’t tip her bc I tip based off server and tonight our server was absolutely HORRIBLE!! Do better lady!!!

Have been here before but tonight was absolutely awful. 20 minutes to get drinks, then they show up with barely any ice and black specs floating in the drinks. Waitress then comes back with the drinks and doesn’t take our order and another waitress sees this and proceeds to take our order. Food comes out, and is soggy and not warm. By this point we request refills and the drinks come back wrong and tasting completely different than before. Just an overall terrible experience tonight.

I order a to go order. I sat in the to go spot while two cars came after me and got their food. So I called and he said they were slammed. Less than 2 minutes later they brought the food stacked tall in two bags. Didn’t hand me one at a time and didn’t say one word to me. The food wasn’t that hot so I don’t believe they were that “slammed”. I am throwing the meal out because with that attitude I don’t trust the food. We quit going here years ago for poor service and I realize I shouldn’t have went back. Still the same crappy service.

I truly wish I could give this place zero stars. But for the post to show I have to give it something. I walked in around 8:45 on Thursday, three different girls looked at me from the kitchen and disappeared. I finally walked into the bar area and asked the bartender what time they closed, I was informed it was 10:00 p.m. I asked the bartender if he minded if I sat at the bar and he rolled his eyes and crossed his arms and said "I don't care Do what you want". And disappeared to the kitchen. I waited for about 10 minutes before I finally just left and went somewhere else. Considering I'm a bartender and a bar manager I know how to treat people with respect, I know how to tip. I know how to take care of those in the service industry. But this was a horrible experience, and because of this I will not go back and try again.

I would just like to share my experience that I experienced last night. It was a great night until I called cheddars got off work picked up my sister from the airport. She just flew in from New York. It was kind of getting late so we wanted to come home chill and order in. My son who is a deputy sheriff was off that night as well, so that just even made the night better when I called cheddars a young man answered the phone and we proceed to give our order. I guess it was a little bit confusion so we wanted catfish And he kept bringing up salmon, so that’s where the communication got lost. When I Kindly corrected him. He got an attitude instantly and was very short and proceeded to let us know that the restaurant was gonna close in @10pm I said yes, we are aware of that my son is on his way as we continue the conversation he proceeded to rush me off the phone and say OK and what else you want and what else you want and what else you want. And when I said well, thank you for your patience at the end of our conversation he just hung up the phone. My sister and I was very shocked and we decided to call back the manager. We have a choice where we spend our hard earned money at we did call back the manager. He came to the phone. I did appreciate that he sounded chipper and in Customer Service that’s very important and I did compliment him on that as well. We proceeded to tell him about the previous experience. He was very quick to defend him and said oh that don’t sound like him I worked with him for a very long time and all my years in Customer Service. I’ve never heard a manager come on and instantly defend the person that offended the customer is like he diminished our experience as I continued onto the conversation. He did say he will talk to him. I’m very shocked for a chain like cheddars to have someone in Customer service working at their store if you’re not happy and if a person call late and you have a attitude, maybe you need to get another job because people do get off work late people do things late, but the store was not closed.it was approximately about 915 when we call. So beware if anybody call cheddars after nine you will get someone with the attitude because they feel you’re calling so late you will be greeted with bad customer service.
