Great food. Friendly Staff. The biggest burrito I have ever seen in my life. My son literally ate the whole thing it was so good. Adam at the front desk was a great start to the night. Very friendly. This is our new fav spot. :) Also - Our waiter was so sweet. Great service too.

Food breakfast was good but they need to improve their tortillas... both flour and corn tortillas were bad.. 👎. Eggs with chorizo wasn't the best but it was good enough I would go back but their tortillas , not fresh made and were kind of raw and cold.

Why are y’all so stingy with the salsa on to-go orders? You get endless amounts when dinning in, but for to-go orders you get a thimble sized cup and if you ask for more they try and charge you.

We normally eat at El Viejo Tony nearby. Needed lunch before 11am so we decided to try Carmela’s. After being seated it took about 15 minutes to be served drinks. Once our food came out both of our meals were wrong. We ate it anyways - the rice is very bland, not as good as other restaurants. Honestly we won’t be back. I 10/10 recommend El Viejo Tony instead.

Food was ok kinda cold and nothing wow , service was great the girl was nice and really fast on the drinks even though she was busy I will probably go back just to visit candy again

The waiter was nice but slow took.a while for him to tend our table. Did see that it was not busy and the managers were by the bar sitting down so really no reason as to why it took awhile to get our food and it be cold. I ordered an Italian Margarita half n half but got it on the rocks and was just a plain margarita nothing special juat overcharged.I have been here know a total of 4 times with 2 good experiences and 2 bad but dont think i will be returning.

It's been great in the past but recently service has been in the dumps. Horrible experiences with to-go orders and not so friendly over the phone. If you sit down to eat, it's better. The picture I posted is a $2 upcharge for a beef fajita burrito grande. The cold portion is on the side because of a long trip home. It's all rice. Very dissatisfied. It's been like this for the past 6 or so months.

That restaurant is. Very slow the service is poor I’m don’t recommend visiting this place I’m recommend el sombrero Mexican restaurant or La cantina

Waited almost 10 min just to be seated with very low customers in the restaurant, then another almost 40 min to get my good, ordered egg and potato with bacon, the only thing hot in that plate was the beans, boiling hot as if they were put into a microwave, tortillas, eggs, potato and bacon were literally cold already. Ridiculous. Lady in front asked me if everything was good, I said no and didn’t even bother asking what was wrong with the food or anything. Not worth it.

I had to ask for chips and salsa after the food came out. So by the time i got to the food it was cold. Food was bland. Nobody pays attention. I wondered why there were so few cars in the parking lot, now I know. Never again. I regret spending my money here.

Took my mom here for late lunch/early supper. Worst decision ever. Do NOT recommend it. She had pollo a la parilla and I had the el indio texano. Service was great, the atmosphere was excellent, but man, their food was terrible. The plates looked hot when delivered to the table, but everything was cold just past that top layer of sauce around the edge of the plates. The taco was acceptable, the cheese enchilada was dried up, the beef enchilada was cold and blah (couldn’t eat the dried up tortilla around it), the tamale (hay que lastima!) was so disgusting as to be in edible as well being encased in masa like concrete. The refried beans were the biggest disappointment in the whole meal (because who can ruin them even if they just opened a can?) because they didn’t just taste bad- they tasted OFF! Even the rice had no sabor- no chicken stock, no tomato, No LOVE and they had Lima beans in it.Corn and onions would’ve made sense, but green peas AND green, baby limas? When La Gorda comes to eat and she’s can’t even gag through half her meal- flavored with hunger even, your kitchen has FAILED.
