First time eating out since the pandemic and I felt really safe. They sit groups to social distance and they have plexi-glass partitions between booths. Food was great and affordable, though they were out of a few things in the kitchen. Staff was friendly and prompt.

Typical Friday night busy, and after a moment of feeling over looked the manager came and waited on us personally. From drinks to ticket. His attention to our table plus the others he was helping on was impressive. We never had to ask for a refill and all extra request where filled promptly. An amazing experience at a great restaurant.

Always good except for this time. Waitress never brought husband his food and never came back to table. When told she said he never ordered as I watched her scratch his order off her form when we asked for it to be removed from bill. Over all food good server Bad!!!!!

Always been number one to me and my family. We grew up together. Smaller portions but plenty. A little pricey, but worth every penny. Great salsa and chips, fountain drinks.

My server Olivia was absolutely amazing. I ate the shrimp and crawfish enchiladas they were the best I've ever tasted. Will definitely be coming back to see her.

Food was awesome margaritas were slammin...the only problem I had was the hostess I wanted to slap her. She deliberately jumped past us and seated ppl that arrived after my party. Then she had the nerve to point at us instead of showing us to our table and directed us to be seated that way

Just placed my to go order with Emily for me and my brother's family, and us coming from the industry let's say my order was complicated and off menu, SHE WAS AWESOME! Now I have my hand wipes to open the door hand sanitizer for before and after and honestly I'm giving everybody five stars and a high-five for following CDC directions But continuing to live our lives. DON'T FORGET TO TIP THE SAME OR MORE IF YOU CAN

Food and service was on point. I’m not a beans person but I got charro beans with mostly gravy from the beans and man o man they did not disappoint. The seasoning was perfect. Matt, the manager on duty, was very friendly and customer oriented.

I was a little worried about going to the wrong Casa Ole with all the reviews. Let me just say, the restaurant here at this location rocks. Our server was Josie and she was amazing. Friendly, promt and quick. Had a great smile and very upbeat. The food was amazing. We ordered the sampler for an appetizer and had too take it home! Our plates were hot, correct and good. Casa ole is a staple in this area. It may not be considered the best, but it has delivered consistently good mexican food for over 30 years. I get a craving for their fajitas and salsa about twice a year, and its always like i remember. Service is always good and the staff knows their regulars. It is a little pricey for the amount of food you get.

We order the fajitas for 2....X2!!! THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!! The portions were huge! We did carry out but let me tell you they loaded it up!! I was pleasantly pleased! Very nice exsperiance. Perfect end to mothers day!

Assistant manager Matt and server Michelle were so friendly and helpful! It doesn’t get much better than a frozen margarita, Mexi Mushrooms, and Fajita Nachos. Casa Olé has been a staple for decades, and rightfully so!

This is the second time we came to this location and I just can’t say enough good things. Michelle was our server and was great. Filling drinks and bringing extra napkins without even having to ask. The food was really good. Cold food cold and hot food hot! We will be back for sure!!! B

Waitress was sweet and the food was amazing. The booth by the emergency exit and bathrooms was a little too close to the table so we had to pull it back a little for some breathing room. Which was definitely needed with how stuffed we got eating off the lunch menu. Plan to go back on $.99 margarita night. They had a few drinks advertised that I want to try.

We went there at 930pm. Was worried we were gonna get bad food 30 minutes before closing. They didn't give us menus and waiting on us was a new waitress and was finally given menus. Ordered food and was Very Surprised We Got Good food and Service even by a new waitress trying to work two jobs! She did a great job. The service was Great.

The food was good and the wait staff was very friendly. My husband and I really enjoyed our visit to this location I don't think we'd ever been to this location before so we were happy to see it and we really liked our visit to it I hope they continue to stay there and do well. The place was clean the bathrooms were clean the food quality was really good and the attentive-ness of the staff was good considering it was early that we went and it was not very crowded. This place is located very close to a Walmart so it's very convenient to eat and then go shop or vice versa.

Had a good time. My friend had an Italian margarita made by manager,and she said it was great. I had a shredded chicken salad and it was wonderful. Nothing to complain about.

The waitress we had couldn't keep up with her tables. We waited 20 minutes just for her to ask us what we wanted to drink. We ended up moving to a new section, different waitress who was very attentive.

Walked in to get soup and salsa/chips to go. Was ignored when I first walked in so I stood there for a minute. Not busy at all and still took them about 10 minutes to get 2 soups and a salsa and chips together. There was a worker on FaceTime and dancing in the middle of the restaurant. Went there on a Saturday for lunch. The food is ok, service was good. The flavors were consistent with other Casa Ole restaurants. It’s not the best, but it’s not the worst for Tex-Mex cuisine. It's ok.

My last experience here was not the best they got our order wrong. Then they didn't put grilled chicken on the nachos they used chicken from some other recipe it was like boiled with tomatoes I guess it was for enchiladas maybe. No lettuce on the cold plate on the side. Oh and the flautas were burnt. We didn't send it back again because it probably would've came out wrong again but normally I love the food here!

Was not impressed with the food this time. It had been awhile since I had last eaten at this restaurant and it will be even longer before I try it again. Food was very sparce. I ordered managers special and the tostada was only slightly covered with caso. There was less than two forks full of beans on plate. It wasn't the quantity that was lacking it was also the quantity. The food was not as good as a TV dinner.

Casa Ole, what happened to y'all! Hot sauce isn't the same, beans, tacos everything has changed! And not for the best! Casa Ole used to be so consistent, now, hit and miss. Sunday night dinner w family, no other restaurants were open. Go back to your original recipes! We dined at the Twin City Groves,Tx location. Service was great, poor guy didn't have much to work with, out of stock of aLOT of regular items! The Central Mall location is a "never again" for us.

They were short staffed but our waiter was pleasant. The food took forever but was served hot. I had not eaten at a Casa Ole in over 15 years and the food tasted the same as I remembered.

We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon, before we made our trip back home to the Austin area. We sat for about 15 minutes without having been greeted by the wait staff. We were served chips and salsa, but had no drinks. When our server came, she was very apologetic and sweet. One of the servers asked another to pick up a crayon off of the floor and she simply walked over and kicked it under another table. I'm not sure what was going on in the kitchen but the staff was loud and carrying on. The salsa is bland. The queso tastes like broccoli cheese soup. I ordered what I think was called the Triple Combo. Three enchiladas-cheese, chicken, and beef. The cheese was okay, bland sauce. I didn't care for the chicken. The beef was unseasoned. I honestly don't see the appeal of this restaurant. Maybe it's because we have awesome Tex Mex where I'm from. In the end, the salsa was my favorite thing even though it was pretty bland.

Ordered fajitas for 2. The portions were much smaller than they used to be. Food was good and the waitress was nice but she put lemon in my tea after i told her im allergic.

I'm giving casa ole 3 stars over all bc they had 5 star service, and a 5 star atmosphere. The waitress we had was very kind to my family and my baby when he was acting out and in full brat mode, so I appreciated her grace. I tried my best but some days kids have zero chill. The only reason this isn't a glowing review is because you guys ruined the food with an atrocious amount of salt, and I love salt! I am not some kale only granola mom. But if it's too the point where all of the food was terrible and I liked all of the ingredients and dishes, there is a problem. Idk if someone in the kitchen doesn't know what a Teaspoon is vs a Tablespoon of salt, but over all casa ole is great place to visit, and they have an amazing vibe, art, and Margs. Maybe I just came in an odd day

As an out-of-towner, I had high hopes for Casa Olé based on its inviting decor and clean interior. The restaurant was well kept and nicely decorated, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The staff were friendly, and our waitress was attentive and pleasant throughout our visit. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to the setting. The queso had an odd flavor that was hard to place, and the salsa tasted more like seasoned tomato sauce than a proper salsa. While the rest of the food was just okay, nothing really stood out or made the experience memorable. Overall, it was a bit of a letdown. I appreciate the great service, but the food missed the mark for me.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I felt like I had to speak up after the experience I had. From the moment we walked in, it didn’t feel like a welcoming visit. I truly believe we were treated differently because we are Hispanic. Our server, Ashlyn P, gave noticeably better service to another table nearby who happened to be white. They were checked on often and offered refills without asking — meanwhile, we had to repeatedly ask for basic things like water refills and service attention. It was disheartening and frustrating to feel overlooked and treated as if we didn’t matter. We came in expecting a pleasant dining experience and left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. I hope management takes this kind of thing seriously — no one should feel less than because of who they are.

The only reason we went here were for nostalgic reasons since this was our high school spot. With that being said, weren't expecting much and that's what we got... Not much.... We walked into the restaurant to the hostess stand where there were two women. Not only we we not greated but we stood there for six minutes without them saying ANYTHING. I knew we were expecting a party of six so I just found the nearest large table and sat. We sat there for about another six minutes before anyone acknowledged us... By the time the rest of our party arrived we ordered drinks and appetizers. My wife ordered the margarita flight which was nice but the Jacked Peach margarita that i ordered were so bitter and thick that I should have sent it back (but I didn't). After what we had ensured we weren't confident in ordering entrees so I hade the fajita flamiedo just to keep it simple. It was as I was accustomed to so no disappointments there. But at one point the waitress came to the table holding her purse asking if we needed anything else... We asked if she was leaving and she replied saying no, she needed a smoke... She returned to serve us but nah... We won't be back.

I have been a Casa Ole fan since I was a kid. I have gone hundreds if not thousands of times in the last 20 some-odd years. This particular location has always been a staple in our little community. From after-graduations, prom nights, birthdays, after church, etc. It pains me to write this because I have such an emotional attachment to this location, but, I do not recommend it anymore. The service has taken a sharp nose dive over the last few years. I would like to attribute it to post-Harvey recovery but, it was bad even before. The waiting staff is, generally, inattentive. It takes up to 10 minutes after sitting down before chips are delivered and a few minutes after that before drink orders are taken. I'd also like to say these are isolated incidents because I know waiting staff can have bad days and in the past having worked in retail for the better part of a decade - I understand. But this is every time. I dread someone recommending this restaurant these days. Sometimes (semi-frequently and by habit I guess) I have a lapse in long term memory and suggest it myself - and within 5 minutes I hit myself for thinking it would be better. I can say that I have noticed that there are fewer overall staff members waiting tables, and this saddens me. I'm assuming, and this is a total guess, that Waitr and the other delivery apps have a great amount to do with this. There is a CONSTANT flow of delivery drivers entering the restaurant in the ~1 hour I and my family are there. Bags lined the partition, constantly being refreshed. Having been a patron of this service, again - I get it. I don't know what it is, and I don't have any solutions, but... I know that attending one of my absolute favorite establishments has become a dreadful affair. I am giving one extra star from 1 because, despite all of this, the food has remained relatively consistent throughout the nosedive in the restaurant experience quality.

Cheese Enchiladas are not good.cheese is hard and you can tell they just wrap a cheese stick up in a tortilla and throw it under a broiler. I didn't even eat them. Told the waitress they are not good she says ok and walks away not coming back until check time. The chicken tortilla soup was good though. 2 stars for the soup.

I accompanied my husband on a business trip and we found this restaurant on the internet. To start off on a good note the portion size of the lunch menu was perfect. However, the chips were stale. We asked for fresh chips and the second batch wasn't as stale. The food was just okay. We would have been better off eating fast food. Do not waste your time and money. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Stay away from the nachos, twice I've got really bad quality food , I would think for $16 the nachos would be at the very least good tasting, but it's like everything came out a can , pourd on top and microwaved because it's all soggy and low quality. I will never buy food from Casa Ole

Casa Ole disrespects vets! I tell the hostess I cant see the scanned menu or the fine print paper menu, and she couldn't help out a combat vet with injured eyes. I even called the manager to get the same response. Guess we are in this emotionally vacant world now, where even common courtesies to one another seem foreign. I had to be carried off the battlefield in a foreign land, and honestly, it doesn't even seem like I came back home. Casa Ole disrespects American vets!

Been going for .99 margaritas for 2 years. Always get 2 and a meal to go. Today I ordered my usual but was told I had to eat my food here. Really after 2 years I’m very angry and disappointed. Guess this my last casa ole visit 🤬

Poorly run with horrible staff. We came in on a Monday evening and ask for a table. Their response was, " we don't know when a table will be available," and did nothing to find out. Completely terrible way of doing business.

It was horrible. Worst service I have ever had. I had to track down a server after waiting 20 min just to get a water. food was burnt. I even had to wait 10 min to pay. I told the lady at the front what happened and she didn't even care.

waitress we had couldn't find her ass with both hands and a gps unit.the prices are way steep for bland and sub par "Mexican" food. the drinks alone costed 11 dollars for 3 Dr peppers and a sprite. i am in the restaurant business and it cost roughly 10 cents to have a 32 oz drink. they are rip off and the manager is about as clueless as his staff. will not eat there again and will make sure all my friends and family will not again. need to hire smarter people that can tend to the customers, a manager that can do something other then stand there looking goofy.

Ordered through door dash and my two taco crips Was soggy and my fries was sloppy and it wasn’t much on it I’ve called my order in plenty of times and went picked it up today was the worst experience I’ve ever had with this location. Called asked for the manager to me she seemed nonchalant about the situation. No cares in the world trying to make me think it’s door dash fault no ma’am I ordered these myself and came picked them up it’s the workers so gross the meat wasn’t even seasoned it’s sad a person can’t get stuff delivered without something being wrong since Covid business has fallen with customer service

Place sucks, went in today with my kids and we were seated. Sat there about 15 mins while 2 other parties were seated after us and helped right away. Overheard the waiting staff arguing who was going to take our table, got up and left. Horrible service and the place was about half empty, been there before and they usually take a good while for your food and that was expected, but I was at least expecting to be helped in a timely manner. There's too many authentic Mexican restaurants to go to in the area, trust me go somewhere else!

Waited in front for 6 minutes before anyone noticed me to seat me and my son and friend. Never gave us menus but was pushy for me to hurry up with my order. Needed more chips and sauce made me think of how it use to be that they would bring it out to you if you looked low on it, without hunting or waving them down. Same with drinks...and OMG the prices all went up and less choices on menu. I'm upset how this has happened, they have depressed in my time of living instead of progress. Not professional,helpful nor intending to please me with good customer service. Prices to high.

The food was not ready when I arrived to pick it up. They had to go back to get it. I live 1 mile away. I get home with the food. It is all cold, and soggy. I don't get it. You don't have it ready but it was just sitting in the back just getting cold. The food tasted old. The worst meal I have had in a long time. I will not go back.

Went in at 9:25 to eat on a Saturday night was not very happy with service and there was only one other booth with customers. We ordered the 2 for $18.00 when we requested our dessert it was about 10:10 and we was told everyone from the kitchen had already left and we know that was a lie we saw them in the Back WE ARE NOT VERY HAPPY CUSTOMERS

The service was horrible from the moment I walked in. I was seated at a dirty table. Not only was I not given a menu but once it was time to order, I was told they didn’t serve my item and to choose something else. I ordered an alcoholic beverage and when my ID was checked, my waitress assumed if was fake and took it to the manager. My waitress sat in front of me as I looked at the menu. The food was barely decent and super thrown together.

Estella and CJ now have both refused to admit any fault after charging me twice for an order, I have logged multiple complaints and have gotten no resolution, I dont want a refund, I dont want free food, I will never be coming back here and neither will my family, I simply want my money back that I was just charged for twice due to incompetent employee behavior. Over the phone Estelle tried to infantalize me, as if being younger than her was the reason I was upset my money was stolen. Instead of trying to be professional and courteous, CJ gave the phone to estella to not apologize for any issue but to berate me and remind me I'm not as old as them

The food wasn't good at all, our waitress brought our plte with the beans and rice out, 5 minutes before she brought the fajitas out. So the beans and rice was not hot at all, the vibe was wayyy off. I will not be going back. I don't know if management changed or not but it's definitely not the same.

I go to Marie's diner in Groves a lot. It's really good. Update: 04/11/2024. Okay, I thought I'd give it one last try. Man, what a mistake! I got steak and cheese enchiladas, but there was no cheese. They were just dried corn tortillas rolled up with some sauce. The steak was charred black and tougher than a rubber band. I brought it home to show my family, and they were shocked that I paid for it. Me too! Oh well, that was my last time there. I will not be going back.. With declining quality and rising prices, adding credit card fees feels like a slap in the face !

Called when I pulled into a curbside spot, waited 25 minutes, ended up having to go inside just for employees to be talking while my food was sitting right next to them, cold. Sure wish they were nicer and cared about the customers experience.

We got our drinks and food. The food was horrible and the steak was very tough with fajitas and onions extremely undercooked. I was halfway through my drink when i realized there was a bug in my cup. I could tell it didn’t just fly in there, I think it was a small beetle of some sort, but it was stuck to the glass and the legs broke off as i tried to see what it was. Obviously another cup was put on top squishing it because it was dried out as well. Very unsanitary and will not be going back. I DID NOT ORDER EXTRA PROTEIN WITH MY SWEET TEA.

I ordered the steak fajitas for two. Never again. Meat so tough and full of fat, I just threw it away. Meat portion was meh at best. The salsa tasted like tomato sauce from a can. The sides was very small portions. Chicken was less than average. 45 bucks for this! No thanks.

So sad that Casa Ole’ has gone so far down hill. Our kids used to love it! We tried bringing our niece today and the building is dirty inside and out, the food was subpar and the desert ole’ was awful…no more Blue Bell, they now use some cheap fake icecream and it wasn’t even edible. I gave it 2 try’s. The first time me and husband got seated and waited, and waited for just water. Then knew what we wanted to order when we got the water, we was told that she would be right with us to take our order. Another table of people, about 5 or 6, sit down and we noticed that they get their drinks and then getting order taken. We walked out. I order take out today, some “ nachos “ $10.50 plus tax. And there is NO melted cheese on it, just SHREDDED CHEESE. Who pays $10.50 for some dried up nachos. NEVER again will go there AGAIN. MAGONYAS got a regular customer from NOW ON.
