Wonderful food, good service, pleasant atmosphere to sit and talk. Highly recommend going especially to catch up with old friends. They definitely live up to their reputation.

Sometimes you need comfort food and there is nothing like a soup and a sandwich. Paneras food doesn't taste like fast food, it tastes like home. The soup is warm and filling and delicious and the sandwiches are tasty and they have unique options. The bread is what really does it. It's the kind of bread you think of when someone says they want break. Warm, savory, with a good crust and a soft center. I kinda wanna go there in my pajamas and with a good book, lol.

Has one of the best salads I have ever had! The service and people are great as well.

I would have to say that I always go to Wendys and see this lovely panera bread every single time. Never have been there but by the way it seems with all the traffic, I can tell that it is a great place! I am sure the food is good there and the environment us friendly!

Really easy to do rapid pick up orders here. For some reason the Chai Latte is so unique it is a must try for all Chai lovers. They have decent GF options as well and the manager is very attentive to any needs.

Always a helpful staff and efficient. We tend to have large orders quite often and they are always correct. The deliveries often arrive sooner than expected. Nothing but good things.

I stop here to have their tomato soup, of course with bread. A little touch of heaven. I also received a free danish with my points. I chose a cinnamon vanilla danish, I would highly recommend it.

Sat down with a friend for a Saturday morning breakfast and had a nice quiet, peaceful time. It was my first time having breakfast at Panera, and I couldn't have been happier. The food and the coffee were delicious, and no one bothered us the entire time we sat there. I'm looking forward to doing it again.

Always consistently good. Food is reliable and tasty. Place is clean. Sometimes there's a line, but you can order before you arrive, especially if you're on a tight schedule. Use their app or website, place your order (for pick up) and pay. Once you get there it's sitting on the shelf ready for you. That's a fast turnaround! Haven't tried their delivery yet.

I have been to many Panera stores in the US, and this Port Jefferson Station one is simply the best. Very clean and organized, tons of breads/pastries in stock around the clock. Coffee/Hot-water, creams/almond-milk/skim-milk and supplies etc. are always filled and ready to consume. It has multiple entries and plenty of parking spots (on three parking lots). If the parking lot off Rt-347 is full, drive around the back and you will for sure to get a spot. The location in Smith Heaven Mall on the other hand is one of the worst -- hot water, almond milk and honey containers are often empty at the Smith Heaven Panera.

The best Panera on the island! Everytime I go here everything is always so fresh and flavorful. Not sure why they are the only Panera that actually serves fresh tasting food and bread but they blow all the other Panera's out of the water. I live closer to 2 other Panera's but drive the extra distance just to go here instead.

I like this location in Port Jefferson Station. The food is always fresh and people are polite. They have a room I have booked free of charge for little events with friends. Make sure you book in advance. Many people come here to play board games with their groups and to use the free Wi-Fi.

Delicious food. Pricey, but worth it. Love the Iced Green Tea, Lentil Quinoa broth bowl and roasted turkey caramelized kale panini, today. The broth bowl was a bit salty. I don't agree with the negative comments i've read about this location. I come here all the time and it's clean, great service and they're never out of anything I order. Keep up the good work!

I visited this Panera on August 22, 2022. May I add I have been to this many times before. This Panera is outstanding. Every single time I go in here they are courteous and my food is perfect. So I went to 2 other Panera's for a breakfast sandwich one in Selden and the other in Ronkonkoma and this one was the only place that made it perfect. The other 2 claimed they do not offer what I wanted, but I've gotten it before so I was confused. Thank you for outstanding and quality service.

This Panera has a great location next to the Smith Haven Mall. I went with a few of my friends after we had gone shopping and I ordered from the Youpick2 menu. I got the mac n cheese and the Turkey Avocado BLT without the bacon. The mac n cheese was good as usual, the sandwich was extremely fresh and had the perfect balance ingredients. The avocado was sliced to perfection. The staff was very nice and even talked to us while we waited for our food. Overall, one of my favorite Paneras, I go here often.

Another good meal at Panera! Great selection to begin with, and now they've added a few new items. I thought the Mediterranean Salad was very good and appears to be healthy. The cashier was extremely helpful in describing their new dishes!

Highly commend the managers, Paul & John on this amazing setting. Atmosphere is always friendly, tables are always clean and the food and services are impeccable. More than just a Cafe, this is a place where the community is treated well.

Whenever I visit USA, I don’t miss to go to Panera to buy their breads and baking items as my husband is too obsessed with these. This time I bought bread right before my return, and after coming back, I realized my payment was declined. I was too ashamed and talked to the manager Joe, he was very nice and told me not to be worried about that. I am definitely going back there again and make sure every time the payment is processed correctly.

I ordered from the Panera Bread app in advance. It worked fine. Food was good but a bit pricey for half sandwich and small cup of soup.

It was the first time I had been in the private back room for a community mtg being held there. I wasn't aware there was one before that. I thought it was a great space and great place to have a mtg.

This Panera is one of the best ones. They have a nice conference room that you can reserve for meetings. They also have a nice fireplace for the winter cold nights. Lots of parking space and the location is perfect right off 347 and very close to 112.

I ordered an avocado sandwich. It was fresh and exactly how I ordered it from the kiosk menu. This was an adaptation of the Turkey, Bacon and Avocado sandwich. The restaurant was clean and orderly. This is impressive for a late Sunday afternoon. I will definitely be returning.

While the food is good, it is highly over priced. Also, the sandwiches are usually appear to be "thrown" together, with the meat, lettuce, cheese sloppily everywhere on the plate but between the two pieces of bread. That never happens at a real deli or a sub shop.

Consistently good salads, but sometimes the orders are not exactly as ordered, but they are always willing to make it right. Check your order before you leave, especially when you order from the app. Friendly and helpful staff.

Do not get their big cookie... flavorless.. yukk no. But, I'm in love with the balsamic chicken salad. In love! However, I always forget to tell them no green goddess dressing (makes me burp). And no cucumbers (same reason). Need extra dressing and feta. But I forget. Ergh! So I'm thinking.. I go there often enough.. I give them my phone number.. why can't it just be saved in their system? Seriously. Also, can they plz bring back the ten vegetable soup... jus plz. Soup weather is coming... ooo how exciting. Pray they won't increase their prices. I find panera expensive. I enjoy the service here. Each time my family has come we have always had a positive experience with the staff. My family loves it, the quality of the mac and cheese and broccoli soup are great. Personally I feel it's very pricey for the quantity of the food you receive, but the products do seem fresh and the quality is always good.

Food excellent, but my rapid pickup did not have utensils so had to run in and no utensils at the counter. Had to eat my egg soufle with the last spoon and this is 9:00 am. Food is always good, place is clean, ease of ordering is fantastic just need to keep up with utensils!!

Great selection of sandwiches, salads, pasta and soups. The bakery selection is also quite large. They offer kids menu but as in every other restaurants the choices are not too healthy. Fast service. I gave them 4 stars because I wish they had more organic choices.

Went with my Mom. She had a warm Mediterranean bowl and she loved it. I had a pick 2. Ceasar salad and 10 vegetable soup. I wish they would have filled m y soup bowl. There wasn't much in there 😕. They forgot my Mom's butter. Other than that. We will be back

The staff at this location is very friendly. The place is clean. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars and not 5 is because on their answering service, it states they have outdoor seating but I did not see any when I was there last week. Other locations, like the one in Selden have very nice outdoor eating area with umbrellas.

Fresh, healthy food or baked goods (not so healthy), friendly staff, spacious and clean. Oh yeah this place has a fireplace. I love the broccoli cheddar soup and turkey bravo sandwich... Yummy!!

Lots of groups taking up large chunks of tables for game playing and knitting. Reminds me off Borders books before it went under. Not a problem if you're taking your food to go or you like to eat in a very loud room.

Clean and friendly. Food is always good. Prices are a little high for what you get. Two soups and two sandwiches for $50. Ehh. Not sure the food is that good, but it’s far better than the fast food joints. The preparers lack attention to detail. It seems like every take out is missing something whether it be napkins or spoons or croutons. Check your bag before leaving.

I asked for a frozen chai. Other paneras do it and when u Google it, a picture comes up of it but yet when I asked at this location, the young and new girl told me that I was wrong, that they don't do that...I went to the qahwah lounge and they had authentic drinks with better quality taste, she did me a favor by not caring about her job.

Overall not too much to say about this location, the soup is always good every time I order it. 50/50 on other items usually there are mistakes. Sometimes the side baguettes are hard as rocks and some of the staff aren't that nice.

Restaurant was clean and orderly, this location did not have table service. As usual with panera, the sandwiches are overpriced for what you get.Hardly any meat and a lot of bread. The salads are fresh and help top you off if you get the pick 2. Lunch for 2 was $30. Good choice once in a awhile. There are cheaper alternatives.

They need to start leveling the items when you orders for few peoples. We ordered food, whose order is what we couldn’t find it. We have to open individual items to find out which one who ordered.

The quality of food has gone down in the last year or so. Service always friendly. Ok for a quick salad or coffee. Dont drink from the soda machine or get ice, theres TONS OF MOLD. I notified a manager about this in November 2014, and it has not been rectified. health hazard!!!!!

I went to Panera for lunch today, got a small soup, 1/2 of a sandwich and a med cold drink, OVER $17.00. I love Paneras food and I’m sure in this day and age it’s not even Paneras fault, I’m sure their costs have gone through the roof but I just can’t see spending that much on what I received. Unfortunately, I will need to stop going.

Food is decent, but not my go-to. I received a gift card, so ordered a Pick 2 online. INSANE prices!!!! Broccoli Mac & Cheese (half portion) about 1/3 cup $8. And half an original Grilled Cheese, I did add ham, $8 (it was like 1 slice of bread cut in half) $16 plus for the smallest portion. Ridiculous. I wasn't sure where to pick up the food (never placed an online order) and the woman at the counter acted like I was bothering her (I was the only one there) I will finish the gift card at another Panera, and I will throw the card out before I pay their obscene prices out of pocket.

I do not dine at Panera often, however my husband does. We went for lunch today. I was not happy with the lack of cleaning going on. As we sat and ate our food which was delicious, I watched 5 tables leave The dining room we were sitting in. NONE of the tables were cleaned. Customers sat at one of the tables and saw it needed to be cleaned they had to find someone to clean it. She did not look around to see other dirty tables. As more people arrived and sat at a table that was not noticeably dirty, I had to say something. The customer got someone to clean the table, however not the booths! After watching this I was nauseous and went to the manager, she was not as upset or concerned as I was, and that made the situation even wore in my opinion. I will NEVER go back to that Panera. My eyes have been opened to see just how little people care about others health and well-being.

I have given this Panera way to many chances to restore my opinion that was once very high, but it is now seemingly out of reach. I gave this location a 2 because even though the restaurant is disappointing, the staff is still courteous and professional. The bathroom, quite often consists of a foul odor and is not clean. The lighting in the restaurant is not adequate and during these Covid times it would be nice to have at least some Holiday decorations and a little Holiday music to offset the depressing feeling you get when sitting inside. Like I said the staff is fine and the new Flatbread Pizza is actually very good but help is needed to liven and spruce the place up.

Honestly I love Panera a lot, which is why I order the to go pretty often. Every once in a while they forget something, which I guess it is what it is. Well if course I had a big order and they forgot one of my soups, so I had to drive all the way back there and the same people were at the counter including the manager. So I walked up to the counter and the manager was talking to one of her staff. Well she and the other staff member continues in with the conversation until I inturupt them and then made it seem like it was such a bother that I butted in. I told them one of the soups wasn't in the bag and they just kept asking if I was sure it wasn't. Why would I drive all the way back if it wasn't? I'm getting tired of my food constantly getting forgotten, and now being rude about it? Not cool.

The old lady's moving and taking up all the tables need to stop. Especially since it only happens when it's busy. THIS IS NOT YOUR HOUSE. Stop treating it like it is. I'd like to warm up. Everyday using every table in the room. And on top of that, they block door ways and you can't walk around the lobby. That's a fire hazard. Panera doesn't care about your safety. Only the fact that this people bring them money. Smh.

The BREAD is good, but the product between the bread is truly lacking. I ordered the roasted chic bbq sandwich And some soup,, The French onion soup was quite tasty. However, this is the second time I’ve ever been there and both times the sandwich was just barely edible. The chicken on the sandwich is processed so much to the point where you don’t know if it’s chicken or tuna, fish or cat food. It is just white mushy slop that looks like they chewed it up and spit it out onto your sandwich (for lack of a better analogy) the “red onion” Is soggy and stewed and not fresh at all, The only thing that was fresh was the two slices of cucumber I put on there and that’s something that I had to add separate to the sandwhich. Either way, 2 times visited and I’m not very happy with the sandwich’s at all.

Panera used to be a great place with a nice environment, but something definitely changed in the last year/few months. Some employees are very nice, especially those making the food, but in particular there has been one lady who works in the mornings that is very rude and keeps giving a small drink when I ordered a large. I've learned to avoid her by doing a mobile order then asking for the cup when I get there, since they barely ever put the drinks out anyway (for theft, I guess?) Skimping out on food portions as others mentioned, to the point that in comparison to their Selden location (which is the best out of those local to Port Jeff!) gives almost 1.5-2x the amount. Some of their food is less fresh than McDonald's! I've had wilted lettuce and brown specks on them before. In particular, the reason I am raising these concerns now is that their customer service has definitely gone down. Before, I would just ignore it because at very least the good workers outweighed the bad. However, as of recent, I and a friend have visited with our service dog. On our first visit, we were told to keep her on the floor for hygiene purposes, which we have adhered to ever since. However, each time we visit, we get the feeling we are not welcome. One manager in particular keeps coming up and repeatedly asking if she is a service dog. I understand not remembering us, however, we've visited five times and he seems to recognize us. He keeps telling us we can't have pets in the store, to which we say she is a service dog and even offer to show him physician letters proving this. He has repeatedly told us that he "doesn't think she is a service dog". He is also rude to one of us in particular, who has a communication disorder, and does not let her speak to explain about the service dog. This is very distressing for her and we see him instruct his employees to watch out for us so he can ask about our service animal the next time we come in (this is the 4th time this has happened). We are happy to cooperate with restaurant owners and, again, even offered to show proof that she is a service animal (which is not required of us, but we offer anyway). I wanted to cancel my sip club subscription and pressed the button to do so in the app, but admittedly, I did not get a confirmation email and should have checked. I still got charged for the yearly subscription (which went up just like all of their prices did!) At this point, I don't care about the money and will continue to use the subscription, but others should beware and check their bank statements after cancellation! Avoid this location if you can, others nearby are much better.

The absolute worst ! 15 workers filling delivery orders while ppl in store wait...Never again.... overpriced ..not customer friendly ....Call for delivery..they will screw up your order !

I have had my order butchered multiple times. Adding cheese when I specified I did not want cheese to forgetting ingredients entirely. Do not bother with this location.

So, I ordered my food and I decided to check my order bc I am a mom with 5 kids and did not want the consequences of giving them the wrong food. I approached Ashely and she was so mean!!! The manager tried so hard to make it right. Kuddo’s to her but Ashley, I feel bad for her. She came out from the back and checked my order and when it was wrong she said it’s not my problem I am too busy...really she is mad at mE? I paid and wanted to bring the orders home. All you moms know exactly what I am talking about.

If you’re a senior looking for somewhere to hangout and play mahjong, this may be a good place for you. But, if you are looking for a good sandwich on fresh bread, with lots of quality fillings, keep looking. Have a problem with the restaurant or food? Don’t complain to customer service, they will ignore you!

this is by far the worst Panera Bread location in the tri-state area. the help don't know what they're doing, and they are usually understaffed so be prepared to wait. Then be prepared for what they will serve up to you. You may feel like your in a soup kitchen...sandwiches falling apart, soup spilled onto the plate, bruised apples (stick with potato chips...they're in a bag from the manufacturer, so the staff can't ruin them). My suggestion would be to take your food out and eat in your car..I'm sure you will find your car cleaner than the dining room which is always a mess with uncleared tables, over-stacked receptacles for used plates and trash, which may explain why the carpet is usually littered with crumbs, wrappers and napkins. Dare I mention the men's room !? I'll spare you, just think the worst. If this is a franchise location, they deserve to have it taken away from them. If it's company owned, then SHAME ON PANERA BREAD !!!

I wouldn't go with the "Dine In" option at this restaurant - they'll serve you you're food on their discusting plates that have dust and left over food stuck on them. I come to this location everyday and order the same thing - Large Mac and Cheese - and I kept getting a plate with other food or dust stuck on the plate. Then I just switched to the take out option so they put the food in plastic containers instead.

This bad review isn’t for the location itself but for the rebrand as a whole. The new menu is a flop. It was advertised to add better menu items and cheaper prices. The menu items aren’t anything special and they removed classics. The prices of the items aren’t different than before. The Port Jefferson location is fine and has good service, it’s the franchise as a whole that is declining.

I ordered the Tuna fish and Tomato soup combo.and when I got home I only had the soup and two pieces of bread and no sandwich. But they charged me for it. I tried calling numerous times but no one picked up the phone.

Worst Panera I’ve ever been to! Only one person here is nice and that’s the older lady at the front register in the mornings Thank you for being such a nice beautiful person! The staff in the kitchen are always rude! They always mess up your order and they don’t acknowledge you when you just simply want a fork which they never restock or put in your bag. They promise me two bags of chips and a free pastry (which I didn’t ask for) when they messed up my order the day before but when I came in the next day a man just rudely throws a bag of chips at me as he mumbled something under his breath. HIRE BETTER STAFF! I’m never rude and I never complain but this has happened way to often and it’s not okay. This place is filled with miserable people and this is the last time I will be coming here. I’ll try my luck at selden Panera.

Literally the worse Panera in the area. I’ve called and complained but at this point they need new management. The manager doesn’t do anything to make you feel compensated in any way. She just makes excuses. From basic things like notifications for online orders/ rapid pick up and the food itself are always a disappointment or problem. Today I had it, my sandwich was terrible. Bread was dry and hard. Salad which was a full salad was half way full. Higher management needs to get involved!

HORRIBLE!!! They messed up a simple web order and couldn't make it right. Returned home with my order only to find a missing sandwich that I was charged for. Item circled on receipt with a note to see cashier? A lot of good that does me now when I'm 30 minutes away. Called but they won't or can't refund my card. Offered a free sandwich next time I come by. They couldn't call? Why do you leave your # when you order? Cant recommend this location.

Everything tastes like it came in a bag. Sandwiches are not filled enough but more than ample bread for it to try to get you full. Bakery is good but nothing over the average one. I wouldn't make this a regular place to be.

This is my first time to go to this location for breakfast and it was disappointing. I ordered a brioche bread with eggs and avocado, the eggs came in with shells. What a way to start a day.

We ordered breakfast for $7.39 they charged $7.89 !casher said that computer said is $7.89 ! We spoke to the manager he corrected for us ! But this happened many times as well as our friends ! We are regularly costumer for a long time that the price went up is Ok ! The portion smaller is Ok ! But later they start over charging costumer that is not OK. Hoping the management can hear us !

Just ordered 3 avo mash with egg whites. There was barely any avocado mash on them. I've bought here and other places. It's never so bad. The manager said that's the way it comes. I won't come here anymore. So disappointed

Im 5 months pregnant and was starving but wanted to keep it healthy so I went to this Panera and got a bbq chicken salad with avacados I went home and was shoveling it down my throat I took a second look at one particular bite I was taking what I saw was horrifying. I had a whole head on my fork eyes staring back at me. It was a cockroach head. I will never eat at this Panera or any other Panera in the future. This was the most horrifying experience. It looks clean on the outside but how dirty does it have to be for there to be a roach in my food.
