Wow! Just had a fabulous meal at Gino's. I thought it was just great pizza.... but we (me & 9 other close friends) just enjoyed a terrific Italian meal. Reasonably priced too.

Still one of the best pizza places around, whether you’re on a date or with the family. The calamari is delicious and the cheese pizza is on point!

Gino's is more than pizzeria it is one the best Italian restaurants on the north shore of Long Island. Alfredo and company make every customer feel like it's their own kitchen and he'll make anything you want to have it your way. If you need anything gluten free he will literally make anything including eggplant parmesan gluten free personal pizza incredibly accommodating. Simply the best!

This is an awesome pizzeria/ restaurant I've been going there for years. Anytime I come into Port Washington I make sure I spend a couple minutes to try to get something to eat over there to take home either hot or cold

Great food with awesome choices from pizza to full course meals. Attentive wait staff who are eager to serve you with a smile on their face and very friendly. As soon as you walk in your bound to be greeted by somebody behind the counter and you'll see what I mean about the awesome food choices displayed right in front of you. You're going to have to keep coming back in order to satisfy the choices you have yet to order.

Pizzeria to have take out or causal sit down. Also more formal dinning with table service in the back. Excellent marinara sauce and excellent pizza dough. Interesting and tasty pizza toppings. Try the Philly Cheese Steak Slice: the onions are caramelized. Spinach and mozzarella roll comes with a decent size cup of fresh marinara. Not your average pizzeria. Also while leaving and taking a picture they asked me if I enjoyed everything which I did. I mentioned the recommendation and they asked me where I lived and they asked me to come back. A true welcoming family institution.

I have a sister that lives in Port Washington NY. I always bring back Gino’s pizza back home to Cleveland Ohio. This time the owner Alfredo told me he will wrap each slice individually in foil and label them. We bought 3 different pies plus 5 dough balls to make our own pizza. This place is amazing in their food. Exceptional in their customer service and second to none in their warmth & hospitality. 5 stars all the way !!

We love this place and visit them weekly if not more. They have become family to us in Port, and go out of their way to make us feel welcome and well fed. The food is incredible and they'll make anything just the way that you like it. I know all of the names of the great people that work there, and they know mine. They treat my little son like he's the king of the universe - high fives, first pumps, showing him how they make pizza, cutting up his pizza and bringing it at just the right temperature, taking care of his stroller... The list goes on and on. Just a few weeks ago my wife was picking up a few pies for guys doing construction at our house. When they saw my wife trying to navigate a few pies and a stroller, they walked back to the house with her, carrying the pies for her. Catered from them a few times and order in often. First class people and first class food. One of my favorite parts of this great town.

As a New Yorker, let me just say what a great experience this was! My husband and I came here twice and both times we were blown away by the quality of their pizza. If you like thin crispy crust, this is the place. And don't let the thin crust fool you. It can hold mounds of toppings, which leaves you satiated without the bread blues afterwards. Try the chicken and tomato slice if you enjoy garlic goodness. Dare I say, it will suffice as a creative breakfast option.

Gino's of Port Washington is very good! My favorite pizzeria in Port Washington for dine-in. Their entrees are great, and their pizza is up there as one of the best in town. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice night out with a classic Italian atmosphere!

Super fast delivery ! I got a buffalo pizza the other day it was really spicy and kinda salty but I also ordered a tortellini soup and it was so good! Today I got salmon Alfredo with penne pasta and it was DELICIOUS! Also the portion they give you is perfect !

The restaurant was set up well for social distancing. The waitress was knowledgeable with the food served and helped us with our selection. The food was prepared well. My friend and I had a lovely time and were well attended. A great place to have a delicious meal.

I've been to this spot a few times and the food is amazing! I really like the cozy and ambient atmosphere of it as well. They also have a wide variety of food to choose from such as American or Asian dishes. If you're around the area, you should definitely give it a shot!

The place is always clean and the service was prompt. The waitress was just amazing. She was curtious polite and did her job to perfection. She gave us just plenty of time to order yet the food came out in perfect time. The table was attended always. The food ,starting with the Bruschetta it was absolutely delicious. The chicken marsala specially, I've tried it from the local Italian restaurant to Carmine's in NYC. And this was nothing short of fantastic. I would visit this place again in a heart beat.

Have been going there for over nearly 30 years. The place never disappoints. Food is great (get the pasta Toscana for a light dish or the rigatoni in Sunday sauce if you want something more decadent), service is warm and friendly and they treat you like family. The ONLY downside is that it can get very noisy and there may be a wait for a table on a Saturday night.

A family favorite! Great food, great service the specials menu changes weekly. Great if you have little kids and the service is excellent! Give it a try! You can even keep it healthy with zucchini noodles.

Outstanding! Came back after 15 years when it was my regular for 5 years on Friday and Saturday nights. The food is superb from pizzas to menu and specials; so fresh and generous sizes. Hats off to our waiter. She remembered the orders, super courteous and food come well timed with enough gap between meals. The quality and service is of a family style Italian restaurant. Good job!

A real great neighborhood red sauce joint. Have never had a bad meal there. Sauce is not too tangy not too sweet. Breads are yeasty and garlicky. Crust on pizza is not too thin not too thick. Service is very friendly, but expect a wait during dinner hour -- they are VERY popular. Delivery is extremely reliable.

There are so many great pizza places in Port Washington. Gino's is definitely one of the best. Love everything about their pizza. Great crust, rich pizza sauce, abundant choice of topping and oosy mozzarella cheese! Cash discount is so worth it for take out.

Definitely one of the best pizza / Italian restaurants in town. We've actually ordered steak from here and it's delicious! Their salads, wings, pasta dishes are excellent. The crew that works there is always so polite, friendly and when you walk in it's like a scene out of Cheers, everybody knows your name. Their delivery people are also super nice!

This pizza is a real surprise to my pallet. It was delicious, I ate the entire pizza even the crust. Each bite was enjoyable and I didn't need to add much garlic or any other seasoning to enhance the taste. I will definitely recommend and revisit this pizzeria.

Nothing beats NY pizza, and Gino's has some of the best I've ever had. Grabbed three different slices: cheese, tomato and onion, and granny's. All three were perfect for their style. No excessive grease and amazing flavor.

First-Time Visit — Definitely Coming Back! Stopped by Gino’s Pizza for the first time and had a great experience. The staff was super friendly and inviting from the moment I walked in. All the pies on display looked fresh, which made it tough to choose—but I went with a regular slice for about $3.65. After a quick trip to the bathroom, my slice was already ready in about 2–3 minutes. It wasn’t piping hot, but it came out at the perfect eating temperature. The crust was thin with minimal flop—just how I like it. Flavor-wise, I’d rate it a solid 7.5 to 7.8 out of 10. Great texture, good sauce-to-cheese balance, and definitely satisfying for the price. I’d happily come back for another slice. Highly recommend if you're in the area and craving a quick, quality bite!

They made everything very easy, the price was great and best of all, the kids loved it. Not easy when dropping off dozens of trays for hungry teens! The service here was top notch. We had 3 different employees check on us and assist us with our order throughout our dinner. We wanted to try something different and were extremely happy with the Chicken Parmiagian pizza. It was amazing! It tasted exactly like Chicken Parmigian and the crust was baked perfectly. Nice clean space, service was on point and polite. We ordered the angel hair with white clam sauce, linguine with white clam sauce both was delicious. Also had the chicken Caesar slice and Mac n cheese slice, tasty but not overly savory, thin crust was just crunchy enough but not burnt. I'd definitely go back again.

Popular and busy local place serving pizza, sandwiches, salads, entrees, etc. Menu is Large, food is good, portions are generous and prices are moderate. Service is friendly and efficient. Take your seat and the waiter will be there with a basket of warm bread. If you are new to this area, give Gino's a try. Family and children friendly.

Consistently good food. Italian basics with good flavors and fresh ingredients. From a satisfying sicilan slice to a complicated fresh fish entree, everything is well prepared. Waitstaff is attentive and hospitable. Easy atmosphere, family friendly.

The staff is really nice but the service in the dining room is slow and unthoughtful. The reason I've been going there for so many years is that the food, especially the pasta dishes, is outstanding. The occasional specials such as the beef stew over rigatoni is to die for!

Was passing through and needed a bite to eat. I got the cold Italian hero. It was very good, but how in good conscious can you charge $15 and change for a cold hero? Comon. I know PW is a rich area but how people can spend so much money on one sandwich is beyond my belief. I don't need to hear about any supply chains because when the supply chains are fixed the prices sure as heck are not going to go down. Should have just got a slice of pizza. ****I've now heard that it's 1295 plus tax. please educate your workers because I was charged an outrageous price of $15 and change.

Incredible food. Everything we ate there was amazing. My pesto pasta was the best I've ever had. The kids loved their pizzas and the 6 yr old wanted to finish his while there (it was huge for him). The wife loved the stuffed shells. The desserts look amazing and I will go back one day to try them. I would give this restaurant five stars except the tipping policy is broken. They make a big deal of tipping only in cash. You don't really know this till your done with your meal. I generally don't carry cash anymore like most other people. If you want to tip on a card they have to do a separate card transaction. It's a pain and unnecessary. The food is the best, but bring cash until they get with the times.

Been coming here for years. Pizza here is very good but pricey. It can get very busy due to the great location plus further fueled by kids so at times the quality isn’t as great when there’s a wave of ppl. One recommendation would be to display the prices of specialty pizza and plain cheese by the slice. Recently found another place further down the street but much smaller place and not as obvious but their price is very reasonable. Selection is more limited but quality is just the same for better price.

Our family enjoys this restaurant. Normally we grab a couple pies to go but when we have time to eat in we do. Tonight we ate in and the food was great. 3 chicken dishes and pasta, a couple slices of pizza and a Cobb salad. The chicken dishes where good portions and excellently flavored. The Cobb salad was rather small but tasted great. Our waitress was very attentive. Prices are fair. The kids always love the bread baskets.

Wow. This place was great!!!! Service was awesome. Seems like they have a great variety of Italian food. We got the Gino’s special pizza. $23. Left us with left overs. We also got the cold cut. We will be back. In the mean time I’m looking forward to tearing into this leftovers later.

My family has been coming to Gino’s in Port Washington for 15 years. It’s always delicious, fresh and a pleasure. The slices, salads and entrees are always great. Gino’s has catered many parties for us and they have truthfully never let us down. The prices are also very reasonable. The kids love the Italian ices too! I look forward to eating at Gino’s every time.

How do you review a place like Gino’s? It’s like reviewing the US government. They do a lot of things very well, and they’re basically a cornerstone of Port. But they’re incredibly disorganized, and both the food and service range from spectacular to where’s-the-hidden-camera awful. They seem to be lacking leadership — no one is keeping the trains running on time. Which unfortunately means that in a pinch — when you need your dinner to be ready at the time they say, when you need to get in and out for a quick meal with the kids — they just can’t be relied on. Hopefully that will one day change. *EDIT* Have to correct the record. Gino’s posted erroneously that they corrected their mistake immediately. They didn’t. I was waiting there for 15 minutes for them to bring me the right thing. And they only did when I asked them about it. Mistakes happen, and mishearing something is fine, but it should have been corrected immediately, and wasn’t. Also like, don’t lie about it after the fact? And also, this isn’t the first such issue I’ve had with them.

Not sure if Gino's has new owners?? I have been getting from them for years always delivery and it has always been exceptional!! But in the last few months everything I have gotten is off this includes pies and meals the sauce has definitely changed and not for the better

So we love eating Gino’s. Unfortunately the last two times we had ordered for delivery the food has been burnt. The first time it was the Sicilian slices. Burnt and not edible. This time it was the garlic knots. Burnt and not edible and hard as a rock.

As a long time Port resident, I've never been more disappointed in a restaurant we loved going to as a family. This is the 2nd time I was served a dinner portion pasta dish during lunchtime. The first time I noticed the bill and my server said, I thought you wanted a dinner portion. Ok that's weird, I let it slide and paid the difference. I have no idea what a dinner vs lunch portion looks like. Today, I specifically asked for the lunch portion, at 11:30am! I feel like I don't have to say I want lunch at lunchtime. Of course the bill comes and I am charged for dinner. The manager/owner comes over with an attitude saying that I should know what a dinner portion looks like, and chews me out loudly over the issue even though he acknowledged that I specified lunch. You've lost lifelong customers over $4. Good work Gino's! The 'We treat everyone like family' sign should be taken down. We'll support Carlos from now on.. they truly know how to treat customers like family.

Big discrepancies in price what is on the menu and what was on the receipt, they should print new menu to reflect the new price since some items has a dramatic price difference in terms of 2-3$ dollars such as hot chocolate with whipped cream is listed for $3.50 but on the receipt it was $5.50. Also got charged a credit card transaction fee, and their automatic 20% tip is base on the total billing charge not before the credit card transaction fee which is illegal

Delivery was very late. Called to inquire where my food was and to remove the tip. Was met with hostility, interrupted, hung up on and asked to come down to fight after close by the manager Paul. Classless place. Now I have to do a chargeback for the food i never received. Avoid this place like the plague.

I got sick and I was throwing up all night right after I Ate the cold pizza I ordered that night. Delivery driver demand Tips in cash after I already added the Tip on my credit card . Bad Delivery driver, disrespectful, , Terrible business.

Food gets delivered ice cold, delivery driver harassed home for bigger tip. Restaurant doesnt give tips on cards to their drivers. What a shame. Go elsewhere in port, too many other pizza places to stick with this garbage spot.

The worst pizza I've ever had. !!!!!! This corner store has no atmosphere,employees are like construction workers hollering at girl's and care less about your order. They try to make PHILLY cheesesteak pizza but forget the pizza and make the stuffed GARBAGE!!! OH LETS NOT FORGET THE TROLLS THAT WORK THERE!!!! THEY CHARGE YOU 3 BUCKS FOR A BOX!! my order was 20 bucks so I think a few paper plates won't do it,get real!!! Your place will never see a dollar front me.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. We ordered take out recently and were extremely disturbed to see that no one there is taking our health or COVID seriously. Absolutely NOBODY who works there (from cashier to cook...and they are all up front so you can see them) was wearing their mask appropriately, if at all. When we asked why, they simply said they were hot. We will never eat here again.

Female server was extremely rude to myself and my children. We asked to dine in and were seated in the booth dining area in the back where we usually sit. Female server served us with plastic forks and plates and rolled her eyes and was rude for absolutely no reason. Maybe she was the owners daughter? We've never had a problem with any of the other waiters(they are kind and attentive.) Please don't work at the restaurant if it makes you that miserable and take it out on people actually supporting your business. Gino's lost a long time local Port Washington family as a customers. 👍🏼 There are plenty of other pizzerias in town to support whom have better trained employees and kinder owners.

I like this location a lot. Dependably good pizza. I enjoy walking here, it's easy in the middle of town. The staff has been great for the most part. EDIT: Until you are unsatisfied with your order in some way. Then the customer is always wrong (at least that was the manager's attitude). I thought it was strange that they would act like that but on Yelp there are plenty of customers who had the exact experience. Like them, I won't return either.

I ordered 2 white slices with pineapple on top and a chicken meatball sub. It arrived cold and the pineapples were all over the place as you can see in my picture. The meatball sub was very soggy the bread fell apart. Called to complain and the “manager” was arguing about how it’s cold outside so my food is expected be cold and argued with me about how the meatball sub is supposed to be soggy

Butterless Toast

I ate some leftovers of a plain pie that my dad got from there and as I was chewing I felt something hard. At first I thought it was a cluster of cheese since it was cold pizza, I didn’t bother heating it up since I was inpatient and hungry, to my surprise I pulled out a piece of glass from the mushed up pizza in my mouth that was chewed. I couldn’t believe it, my girlfriend was scared for me. I like Gino’s food and the workers are friendly but whatever happened during the process in making that pizza ain’t right. There should be more caution in the kitchen and mistakes happen, glass in pizza is probably 1/100,000 chance but it shouldn’t happen at all.
