I've been wanting to go to the Finneys by my place, and as far as American food chain restaurants, this is probably one of my favorites. The food is quite tasty but also not smothered with grease. They just don't feel too heavy. I took my dad and we split the Bavarian Pretzel, and we both ordered our own Bison Burger, grilled medium. The Bavarian Pretzel was large and easily shareable. It had a great balance of softness, chewiness, and salted flavor. While you can easily eat it plain, the 3 sauces took it up another level. Between the cheese, sweet mustard, and caramel, I mostly love mixing the sweet mustard and caramel in order to get that tanginess with the sweet. The Bison Burger, while presentation wise may look a little sparse, it made it up with excellent, savory flavor. I had the mustard aioli on the side so I can taste the Bison patty by itself, and it is well-seasoned and not dry, which is great to have considering it is a leaner meat compared to beef. The mustard aioli was a great compliment to the burger and it is a must have. The smoked gouda, bacon jam, and cherry peppers added some flair without overshadowing the Bison patty. They all just worked well together. Lastly, Veronica was super attentive and friendly. Great service all around and great ambience to boot! I'll definitely come back here to explore more of their menu!

Great service, Diana seated us. The Menu is a perfect selection of "bar food" and I mean that as great praise. Seating is fast and customized to your preference. Acoustics are surprisingly conducive to conversion. Background music not overpowering or offensive. I have to say that the staff really worked well together and we're all very attentive.

I came here for lunch last week on Friday. We were seated upon arrival. The manager (Staci) who took us to our table was very sweet and made us feel very much welcomed. During our meal she came back to check up on our table. Exceptional service!!! There was plenty of lighting, great atmosphere and there is a full bar with lots of seating area to enjoy and watch sports for those sports enthusiasts. There’s also outdoor seating with plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors while enjoying your meal, or drinks. I ordered the Blackened Ahi tuna sandwich and OMG!! it was delicious!! Made to perfection. If you love Ahi you will love this one. It came with potatoes chips, and they tasted fresh and just that right crisp to them. My mother ordered the Chicken chipotle sandwich and she loved it so much she would normally eat only half, but this time she couldn’t resist herself and didn’t take any in a box. As we were leaving, we noticed people waiting to be seated and the restaurant was full. This place gets packed very quickly. Will definitely be back again.

Pretty amazing happy hour! It was packed but we found two seats at the bar luckily since this couple was leaving. I recommend arriving early. Craft beers were $6 and a generous pour, doesn’t get any better than that. Loaded fries are an absolute must. Pretty small portion but surprisingly filling.

Another awesome place! Great staff and lively atmosphere. Good drink selection too. Hungry? Get the Nashville sliders and cheese steak rolls, both are delicious. The Nashville sliders have some good heat. I got both and could not finish. Best old-fashioned I’ve ever had! Picture taken of food leftover when I was done.

This place has quickly become a favorite of ours. We first visited the one in Ventura and we're thrilled when they opened one near us. While you may wait a bit (depending on when you go) the wait is worth it. Service is always good (especially if you get Ant as your server) and the food is always fresh and good. Great atmosphere and on a nice day the patio is great even though it is a bit small. Overall, we love this place and will continue to go back.

Excellent and friendly service at this brew pub that features many interesting local beers. The pretzel was well browned and slightly crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. The wide selection of brews is well curated and had something for everyone - Belgians, IPAs, and wheats.

We had amazing service by Elsy. Thank you so much Elsy! Our first time here and food was great. Manager came to check up on us very friendly. Will definitely recommend to friends and fam. Try the Peggy's Chicken Sandwich, chef's kiss 😙🤌

This spot is amazing! Especially before a movie or just for a family/friend meetup. I can't say enough how much Finneys fits into our 'must-go' spots especially when AMC is next door. Great food, beers, and cocktails! Plus sports and the atmosphere just hit right. Don't ask questions and try it out.

Finney's happy hour rocks, in spite of it going 3-5 Monday-Friday. I got the burger and craft beer for $16. They have drink specials for beer, wine and some of their cocktails. Their Old Fashioned made with Old Forester bourbon was solid and was $8. Their pepperoni flatbread looked very good and I think that was $9. One of my buddies ordered the nachos instead. We sat on the patio but they had heat lamps hanging from the ceiling so it was very warm. California is way expensive but the happy hour is first rate. I meet my friends there every Christmas when I am in town. The service was GREAT so we tipped her 20%. It was well deserved. The electronic device for payment made it easy to split the tab.

The food was great as always. Our server, Erin, was amazing. Such a great personality and she is so on top of everything. What a pleasure to have her serve us. Loved the jalapeño grits and of course, their cornbread.

Went here for lunch, was quickly seated without reservation. Plenty of parking too. I ordered to-go corn bread from here before, I did not enjoy it that much. Having it dine in is a different story, it is 100x so much better! Probably is my new favorite corn bread go-to spot. We ordered a couple of things, I particularly enjoyed the creamed corn as a side, it is on the sweeter side almost like a dessert. The bbqs are good, I really like the brisket and the fried chicken. Country fried steak is okay, kinda dry. There was a little incident where the tie of the collard greens was in the collard greens, the server/manager was quick to respond to replace the collard greens, we ended up not eating it anyway.

Jacob, who served me in the bar area tables was awesome. I need gluten-free food and the Beef brisket tacos that normally come with their homemade flour tortillas. Jacob had them made for me on corn tortillas. The service was great. The food was outstanding and gluten-free. Yummy yummy awesome!!!

I am a frequent visitor to Gus’s BBQ. My personal favorites are the BBQ Brick Chicken and the greens.. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. The service is consistently good with fast, friendly and attentive servers. This is a go-to for both business and meeting up with friends.

Tried the BBQ plate at Gus’s in Porter Ranch and it delivered a solid mix of flavors. The brisket is tender with a nice smoke ring and just enough sauce to keep it juicy. The pulled pork is soft and easy to shred, while the ribs have a good char and a sweet, smoky finish. The sides are well done too. The potato salad is creamy and flavorful, and the coleslaw adds a fresh crunch to balance the heavier meats. Cold beers served fast, which helps with the overall pace of the meal. A reliable spot if you’re in the area and want a hearty, well-executed BBQ dinner.

Had a fantastic experience yesterday - first time at this restaurant. The deviled eggs, cornbread, fried pickles, potato salad and veggie burger were delicious. I even purchased a bunch of their side dishes to take home. What made the experience even more special for my friend and I was our server, Tyler. His friendliness along with helpful recommendations made the overall experience even more memorable. The rest of the staff were also friendly too. You get a sense of teamwork amongst the crew and that makes it enjoyable for everyone including guests. Highly recommend this restaurant and plan to go back again.

I’ve tried the location in Pasadena and loved it. This location is even nicer aesthetically with a very cool laid-back vibe. The food is very good just like in Pasadena. Although, I will say the brisket in Pasadena is better. Service is great. Ryan was amazing and very accommodating.

Had a wonderful time meeting friends for lunch on the weekend. The service was exceptional, the food was delicious. I decided to try a burger and went for Gus’s. This was my first time here, but definitely not the last. Be sure to try the cornbread, amazing.

The food is soooo delicious. I could go there everyday. My favorite is a pulled pork. They have all this sauces too, 5 different ones. Service is very nice always smiling and making sure you have all you need. Make sure to do reservation, if you want just stop by, count on waiting...little more than a bit. Worth it to pay a visit. It is pretty far from us, about 30 min. driving but it doesn't matter, the food is too good to pass.

I'll make this quick and simple as we're just tryna chow. Parking is not hard to find as long as you're willing to walk. Otherwise, Carpool ✅ Clean restroom for men and women ✅ Savory and excellent food ✅ Been here twice. Food does not disappoint so far. Can be busy, but food is really worth the wait. ✅ See pictures. I recommend them all ✅ Shout out to Lizanne and Oliver. You're lucky if you meet them 😎 they'll take good care of you. 💯

Delicious all around! The kids loved their BBQ grilled chicken with fries and fruit (a nice change from the usual spaghetti and tenders). I enjoyed the buttery cornbread and deviled eggs, while my husband raved about the brisket baked potato. Friendly staff and a cozy country vibe, definitely worth coming back!

Had a great dinner at Gus's BBQ with my daughter. There was about a 30-minute wait, but we didn't mind as we sat outside on a bench-like chair, and the evening weather was perfect for relaxing and chatting before our meal. I always order the Brisket Quesadilla. It's my go-to dish because it's smoky, cheesy, and packed with flavor. Sadly, they no longer serve it with the jicama pickles, which I used to really enjoy. Still, the quesadilla is absolutely worth ordering! My daughter had the Beef Brisket with mashed potatoes and creamed corn, and she loved it. The brisket was tender and flavorful, and the sides were classic comfort food, creamy and satisfying. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere inside was cozy and casual. Always a solid choice for BBQ cravings. We'll definitely be back again!

This has quickly become my favorite BBQ spot in the area, and I've lived in the South for a year. Gus' does an awesome job, all of the meats are cooked fresh throughout the day/night, it's all tender and cooked perfect, and the flavor is amazing. Definitely try the Cast Iron Cornbread it's lovely, light, and soft, buttery, crispy, and the Smokehouse Chili is so good with the cornbread, it has big chunks of super tender brisket and a mix of different beans. We've also tried the Deviled Eggs, and they are extremely good, you can taste the vinegar in them, like they actually have flavor and don't just taste like egg, and the Pulled Pork Nachos are for sure worth trying--their pulled pork is perfect, and we've also had it in the BBQ Quesadilla, which was yummy. We usually split a Chicken or Ribs and 2 Meat Combo, which is more than enough food for two people to share, and we really like the French Fries and the Tangy Slaw--their fries are very good here, I like them better than the mashed potatoes for sure. And make sure to ask for a side of Ranch, because they definitely make it in-house, it is so light and fresh, probably the best ranch dressing I've ever had. The Baked Beans are always worth getting too, but honestly, just get a bowl of their Chili if you want beans, it has so much flavor. We always get the Fried Chicken, they give you a huge piece, it is very delicious, and it comes with Gravy, but seriously, get the Ranch Dressing! The Ribs here are amazing too, both the pork and the beef ribs, they are fantastic, they always sell out, that's how good they are. I've had the Gus' Famous Burger, and it is a very very good burger--get it medium rare--I for sure recommend. Their BBQ sauces are both very good, try them both, and don't forget the Red Pepper Vinegar sauce, it tastes so delicious on literally everything. We also really like getting a Blueberry Mint Lemonade and a Sweet Tea, and then mixing them together to make like a Blueberry Arnold Palmer, it is SO amazing. The lemonade is a little too sweet, and the sweet tea isn't quite sweet enough, so mixing them together is the perfect mix. We've also tried a couple of desserts, The Butter Sheet Cake which is oh my gosh amazing, so perfectly sweet and light, and the brown butter toffee ice cream with it is perfect. And then we've had the Blueberry Biscuit Cobbler, and it was so good, almost like crispy with pieces of super soft fluffy biscuit to soak up the vanilla ice cream, and with the blueberries, it's well-balanced, and almost light. The service is always friendly, and you can sit indoors or on the patio, but get there early, or it can be a 30-50 minute wait. We've been back so many times and pretty much anything you get is going to be good, except the milkshakes. Just fyi, the milkshakes are expensive, and it was very liquidy and not much ice cream. But you don't come here for the milkshakes, you come here for the meat, and this place is hands down one of the best in the area.

Gus’s – A Barbecue Experience Beyond Amazing During a little mini getaway, we met up with friends for lunch at Gus’s, and honestly, “amazing” doesn’t even begin to describe it. This place is next-level fantastic—a true standout that I can’t stop thinking about. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine warmth. Our server was sweet and attentive, and what I can only guess was the general manager went out of his way to make us feel welcome. They were all about creating the perfect experience—helping us pick the right table, making conversation, and ensuring we felt at home. The vibe is fun and relaxed, with decor that matches the energy. Our big table gave us plenty of space to settle in and enjoy the feast. And oh, the feast. We kicked things off with deviled eggs that were absolutely to die for—they disappeared almost instantly. Next up were the wings, and let me tell you, these were no ordinary wings. They were giant, meaty, perfectly seasoned with their secret rub, and packed a spicy kick that was just the right kind of heat. The sauces on the side were incredible, offering layers of flavor to play with. Honestly, I can’t stop thinking about them! Even though we were pretty full, we had to try the brisket. It was tender, smoky, and absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious—definitely a share-worthy portion. And while I can’t remember exactly what everyone else ordered, every bite was a hit. What really stood out, beyond the food, was the service. As the place got busier, the manager didn’t just stand by—he jumped in, delivering food, refilling water glasses, and making sure drinks were topped off. The staff anticipated our needs so well that we never once had to ask for anything. That level of care made the whole experience feel seamless and special. And just when we thought we couldn’t eat another bite, we finished with the butter cake. It was rich, decadent, and the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable meal. There were four of us, and we couldn’t even finish it, but every bite was worth savoring. Even with the rainy weather, this lunch was a highlight of our trip. Gus’s isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a place you’ll be thinking about long after you leave. I’m already dreaming about those wings and can’t wait to come back. If you’re a barbecue fan (or just a fan of incredible food and top-notch service), Gus’s is a must-visit.

Very lively bar-vibe place. Food was just alright, but this is a good place to order some appetizers and drinks and chill and chat and watch sports. Sliders and wings were the best things we ordered. Chicken was well fried. Wouldn’t recommend the Parmesan garlic flavor but the texture is great. Moroccan salad also has a really tasty dressing but was dragged down by the unchewable steak add on. They offer a nice ice cream sandwich birthday special. The wait is usually very long at peak meal times, but they have a bar area with a long table that is first come first serve.

We arrived on a week night at around 4:15 p.m. and had to wait for a table. I do have to say that it was worth the wait! They have happy hour specials which were all fantastic the ahituna tacos, the garlic and sausage pizza , and the pretzel were all absolutely delicious.. $5 craft beer during happy hour was a welcome sight.. We also had a chicken club sandwich, a jalapeno Burger, and a truffle Burger, all were very good. We wish we had some room for dessert, maybe next time. Our server Nina Is professional, upbeat, and fun. She kept the waters coming just as we requested! Thank you Nina.

The food is good, not great. I feel like this is a place I would enjoy a lot more if I was also drinking. The carnitas tacos are okay, but the wasabi aioli is a strange choice for sauce. The pizza is edible, but not noteworthy.

Diana seated us, and the service was excellent. I have nothing but appreciation for the menu's flawless "bar food" selection. Seating is quick and personalized to your tastes. Conversion is surprisingly aided by acoustics. No rude or overbearing background music. We're all really attentive, and I have to admit that the crew worked incredibly well together.

Finney’s seemed to be decent the last couple times I went. But when I’ve gone, I usually just take beer to go. This time we got some food to go and it didn’t look that great when we got it back home. not to mention the two girls in the picture chitchatting we’re just standing there while my bag, in the background, was getting cold. I had to go up to them and ask if that bag was mine. Some of the negative reviews that I’ve seen are talking about this kind of service. Hey,manager have a talk with your employees. Sorry girls to expose you but this place was pretty crowded so you really need to stay on top of it. We just ordered the mini lobster rolls, mini Ahi poke tacos, and the avocado egg rolls. These were all starters so the serving was small. While driving back to our place, the food must’ve rolled around a little so that’s why the non-appetizing look of the photos is obvious. The flavors weren’t bad but I keep going back to those two girls at the front counter not paying attention. This area in Porter Ranch is really nice but very crowded, parking can be hard to find, but there are a lot of other choices as well for food and shopping.

Inside the restaurant was so loud I could barely hear my party talk. Probably better on the patio. Food was just okay: We had burgers, fries and onion rings. Really liked the Blueberry Lemonade and Cobb Salad.

The Barbecue was delicious. The server was very attentive. The music was VERY loud and when I asked the server if it could be turned down, she said, "What?". I repeated my request and she smiled and said, "The speakers make the music loud.". We wrapped up our order, paid our check and left. We won't be back. Too bad, because the food is delicious. It's not worth the headache.

Gus’s BBQ is in The Vineyards at Porter Ranch. With BBQ from Carolinas to Texas to Memphis, they smoke enough BBQ for each part of the day. I love how open it is, with indoor and outdoor dining areas. The decor is fantastic!! We started off with appetizers: deviled eggs and cornbread. We didn’t really like the deviled eggs. It was sweet and tangy. They could have used more mayo to be creamier and a little more salt. We were really looking forward to them since we love deviled eggs but just didn’t like the taste. The cornbread was real promising. Love that it comes in a skillet. But, it was okay. We ordered the Memphis Baby Back Ribs/ Texas Beef Brisket/Sausage Combo and the St. Louis Spare Ribs/BBQ Brick Chicken Combo. Sides we tried were the potato salad, creamed corn, braised southern greens and sautéed green beans. As far as taste goes, the brisket was the best in the bunch. Juicy and tender. The ribs and sausage could have been juicier. They were a little dry. The sides were just okay. Everything looked better than they tasted, which was a big disappointment. We paid around $128 for lunch, tea, root beer and tip. During peak times, parking can be difficult.

I love Coming to this place. The food is delicious. I've been coming here for 4 years. But I'm really upset with the customer service.Alexis, give us is not the first time or the second time, so me and my family. We decided to look for another place where We feel welcome Every time we go, she's working.we get there at 8:10 We order our Food by 8:50 she just come to us And she goes, I'm sorry, are you guys done? Because we're closing in 5 minutes What kind of customer service Is this?

Well I guess the public's expectations are pretty low because it was crowded. We're told it's a 20' wait....it was 45' & the waitress took another 20' to get our order. Why? Cuz she liked to yap with customers. The food was really average if not below. Not going back

I’ve been coming to Gus’s BBQ since they opened until early last year, I was busy, and finally I went in for lunch today and was very disappointed. The drink they made didn’t taste right so I sent it back in exchange for a glass of their house Pinot Noir and ordered a cheeseburger. The burger was thick and had a strange consistency and crunchy things in it that needed to be spit out. The lettuce and tomato’s were soggy and the cheese looked like something out of a bottle. I was very disappointed by this meal when the food used to be excellent. Obviously the food quality has gone way down, I won’t be back. By the way… the “glass of house Pinot Noir” was almost $18. for a 6 ox glass, seriously!! When many restaurants are closing it would seem they would try extra hard to serve high quality food and drinks. Very disappointed!!
