It's pretty good for a fast food mexican style restaurant. The cafeteria serving line or "creat your own meal" makes getting your food a lot faster than order and wait restaurants. The bowls are well served and have enough for two people or two meals if you save the other half.
Second time trying Chipotle, must say that I was really looking forward to it and was definitely not disappointed. Love the burritos and the bowls! Also pretty cool how they have Carne Asada now, lol
Easy to be vegan here. Love the cauliflower rice and tofu! Very salty though if you're sensitive to sodium.

Third time enjoying the new Porterville Chipotle. All the visits were order pick up through their app. First two visits were awesome. Food was ready in the pick up area, food was delicious and prepared correctly. Last night was the third trip during dinner rush on a Friday. Order wasn't ready on time and they only prepared half my order. When I asked, she asked me to review the order with her and together we straightened it out. Even with the little issues they had last night, they still get 5 stars.
I would like to shout this location out for its improvement over the year, I've gotten to see amazing growth, And I have come to a first name basis with an amazing employee named shane, Every time I come in, it's always a pleasure.And it creates an amazing experience. I genuinely enjoy Chipotle and I always ask for the most of the sides is possible.And they genuinely are happy to make that happen. I love this Chipotle and I would definitely keep coming back.Shout out to the Store Manager as well, Keep up your Teams great work. Shine on!

This was my very first time ever eating at any of the Chipotle restaurants. A friend of mine treated me to lunch, and it was delicious. The only bad thing about our experience was that when we went in and took a very long time before any of the staff greeted us or asked us if we needed any help. Also, the ladies room was completely out of potty seat covers. It is very awkward for women to have to stand over a toilet seat because nowadays you don't know who's using it or what they have, and you don't want to catch anything. The food on the other hand and the flavored Waters were delicious.
Went to Chipotle for the first time in years. Our cashier Manuel was great. He was very kind! He made our experience positive. His fellow coworker wasn't as kind spirited but Manuel's attitude made up for it.

The food and service was good but all the tables were dirty we had to clean one to use it. Trash containers were so full, honestly all the place was dirty. ( Porterville CA)
Great place and service I stop here a lot on my way to work being a travel nurse here but I think it’s ridiculous for them to not tell you or honor their rewards they offer through the app in store as well. I purchased food tonight and paid almost $30 when I they could’ve said through the app it’s BOGO.
$24 for lunch is ridiculous. I guess that's California for you. They need to back off of the horrible music they play in the place. It's too loud and you can't understand what they are saying.
It’s Americanized Mexican food. It’s like if you described what Mexican food tastes like to a 5 year old and made it. Not bad not too good it is what it is. Taco trucks do it better.

Food is so good at Chipotle but porterville chipotle lacks organizing skills. You never know what meat is going to be available and what is going to be out. The full menu should be available at all times. I live a ketogenic lifestyle and dont eat rice and beans so I rely on double or even triple servings of meat when I order. Half the time I cant get triple steak because theres not enough and sometimes I can't even get more than one serving of asada. Needs to improve case
Walked out because it’s probably the dirtiest chipotle ive ever been to. I know people love there chipotle but try and avoid it if your not from the area.
I went there for the first time and I did not become a fan of the restaurant. The meal options are small, I ordered a steak bowl and had to pay extra just to get a nice size of food on my bowl. You are charged based on the type of meat you order but they do not properly measure the serving. So for example, you order two orders of steak which should be (8 oz) in the end you get less than 8oz of meat and still get charged for it.
Food was cold and bland. Do better chipotle.
This Chipotle make regular mistakes in their takeaway orders. When this happens insist on a replacement and a refund. This chain has been around too long to make frequent errors that cause customers to drive back for a correction. This is always a management and corporate complacency issue that customers must address with any business. Demand that refund and escalate your complaint to corporate for the solution comensurate with your valuable time that was wasted.

The guy who rolled my burrito seemed to know the guy ahead of me but when it came to my order he was less attentive to my selection of choices. Dropped my food in the bag like it was a bag of trash. First and last time at this establishment. Rather hit the taco truck on the east side.
One employee took like 5 ppls orders. There was other employees but it looked like a kitten wrangling session lmao. The rest were all scattered like they were in a scene from a high school musical. Frozen right before the back drop has to start a dance lmao weird like they were not in uniform ready to work. Crazy I know but facts are craziest compared to fiction. The one older lady who waited on me and others gets the 4 star service! She saved it

Placed an order for pickup and the rice was clumpy. I also paid extra for queso and none was put into the bowl and on top of that they were out of shredded cheese. Could have at least given a free side of chips or something
I got a Kids quesadilla and it had no cheese and my kid was very excited and hungry but all it came with was the meat and the tortilla and I'm very disappointed.
I have been to many different chipotle location in my life and I have always had a pleasurable experience. I was very excited to finally have one in my home town but was very disappointed. In all my years going to chipotle, I’ve never been to one as stingy as this one. Don’t get me wrong I’m not asking for them to over fill my bowel. But come on you could still see the bottom of the plate after they put rice and beans. You go in to this chipotle hungry and you leave still hungry and just disappointed. I had to go to Taco Bell across the street because I was still hungry. Stop being stingy y’all, give normal portions of each ingredient. Trust me it ain’t ganna kill you.
If I could give no stars I would. Every time I’ve been here since opening it’s always me getting a bowl with hard rice. Cold dry meat. Warm sour cream. The beans look dry from sitting there for who knows how long. Will never come back here again. Go to Chipotle in Tulare.
Unfortunately, this was the Worst Chipotle that I’ve ever been to.The majority of the workers were unprofessional and rude. After showing them that most of my guacamole was raw and whole, the manager said that it was because the avocado was out of season. He only expressed concern when I showed him several pieces of skin of the avocado. So the whole guacamole was inedible. Besides, the Izzie carbonated drink was previously opened. I got my money back but sadly I will never go back to Porterville’s chipotle anymore.
We walk in to 5 employees not doing much of anything. No hello, nothing. The whole experience made me feel like it was a real inconvenience to them. Don't worry, I won't bother you again.
They don't deserve even one star We went there last night to eat but we didn't like this place. The staff are super rude spicily the one that she was working on the floor we were talking to them they barely answer The food is expensive we spent $30 for some rice and lettuce and little bit of chicken and 2 small drinks We are not gonna go there any more
I found three hairs in my food buried in my food I’m not the person to review b/c I have a good heart but come on workers and chipotle I can’t even enjoy my 20$ dollar bowl.I’m honestly mad and disappointed at the same time I feel like throwing up.

I love chipotle!!! I came 3 times a week for a salad for lunch. They are never prepared at opening time. Rarely have lettuce chopped. The last two times I’ve went they don’t have vinaigrette for the salads. I won’t be wasting my time trying to eat here anymore. The staff is nice but ignore you the first 3 minutes your there. Manager needs to take action.
Emmanuel is probably the most rudest person I have ever come across here. I understand stuff runs out but I have no issue with waiting I’m not in a rush. I ask if there’s any fajitas. “Not right now!” Well sir maybe an eta would have been nice. Obviously someone was triggered by a simple question
Your workers need to hook up those bowls more because I know I did not get a little scoop of everything and paid for such little portions.. if you go here pull out your phone and start recording and see the difference of how much they serve you lol you’ll serve more for the sake of losing your job but won’t do it when you don’t have your managers eyes on you 😂 I’ve went to a chipotle in Stockton and got served correctly, I didn’t eat more beans and rice than I ate meat😂making porterville more miserable than it already is 😪👎
This will be our final experience with Chipotle. Our visits have been fewer and fewer due to consistently bad food quality. This time it was matched with equally bad service. Upon returning to get a refund, we were scrutinized as to the amount of food eaten although the container was packed full. As to the stale chips, we got an additional sneer as if the refund came from their own check! All in all, we got our money back and confirmation that this chain is substandard. There are a dozen Mom and Pop Mexican restaurants in the area that need our support anyway.
Jada help my family after school today and never have we been treated with poor service discrimination because we were Hispanic. We had a 100 she checked it over and over went to call another person & made a comment to other person well we have to double check if it’s real who cares they can wait ! The people before my family was treated so well even given more food are stuff was way less served then usually she kept recorrecting my 13 year old on things she was asking for I was not there only my two teens and husband or I would have spoke up ! I’m waiting to speak to manager and as of yet nothing !!!

Filled my bowl with a bunch of big chunks of red bell pepper. I ordered this around 1 pm Wednesday May 17. I don't know who was working at this time but they need to not be working there, I don't pay DoorDash all these extra fees so that low quality gets delivered.
Employees all looked miserable. When I went in there was no sense of urgency to even help even being the only one in line. They all, (including management) require training for better customer service. Food was really cold also.
Bug in my food!!! Store offered to remake my plate. But honestly that’s gross. I asked for my money back but due to being an online order they wouldn’t refund me. Told me to contact the 1-800 number. The person over the phone offered to give me two free entrees to compensate for me biting into a bug. I told them wouldn’t return to any of their establishments so that wasn’t acceptable solution for me, but still wouldn’t refund my money. I know it might be silly for some to fight over ten dollars. But I work hard for my money and deserve my money back after finding a buy in my plate

Who can I speak to in regards of this? he’s like oh you can just grab the business cards After that. he asked what was wrong and I said the way you’re treating your new hire and being very unprofessional and front of customers I did let him know he can do better and he thanks a good night thinking he was cute laughing with his employees. Ordered double brisket bowl received minuscule fat and gristle disguised as “meat” paid $30+ and the female manager tried to mansplain how brisket at their store works. I’m aware of how brisket tastes and is prepared. I don’t care if you see a lot of fatty pieces in the box prior to making it and you take it out. Obviously your cook or you did a lousy job of removing them. More than half the pieces were full of gristle and were not edible and I showed you the remains. Terrible customer service and attitude. No wonder your store is empty.
Portions have gotten smaller over time, but what I didn't appreciate today 05/11/25 2pm-ish was the worker cutting the meat today was picking off pieces and eating it, right there at the cutting area in front of customers, from the same pieces of meat served to customers. Pretty gross.
I don't understand how you forget to put cheese on a kids quesadilla! It says it on the receipt QUESADILLA. We get home and there's only the 2 tortillas with no cheese! I recommend everyone open their to go order before leaving the restaurant because this is just ridiculous to mess up something so simple!

The skinny I guess female worker at the end of the night was clearly in need of a vacation. Treated customers brashly, ignoring them for minutes. Didn’t even offer to double wrap the sloppiest (not in a good way) chipotle burrito I ever received.
