Always an exceptional meal from this family run Italian restaurant in the heart of Poughkeepsie. Calamari was tender and crispy. Pasta was perfect. Steak and shrimp scampi was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Garlic bread is hands down the best around! Not to mention on top of This the service was impeccable. Gianna really sets the bar to new levels from humor to attentiveness I don’t know if anyone could ever match her. Add in that if you’re lucky the family patriarch does table side magic for the kids. Our kids are mesmerized and baffled and always ask to go back! Don’t hesitate, you won’t be disappointed!

If you’re undecided about going to eat here let me tell you you MUST go and eat at this restaurant. This was the best food and desert I’ve had in a very long time. And I have been to many restaurants from Canada all the way down to NY and NJ!!! Amazing

I went here for my birthday food is good as usual we had this dish called the Davy V it is steak with shrimp on top for appetizers we had steamed clams and eggplant rollatini and for drinks it's always Long Island Iced Tea without the sour mix and orange crush vodka

I went there for a meeting. My first thought was it looked old and dingy and the decor was really dated. However I did like the bar area, which had lots of big windows overlooking the street. The restaurant is located on a busy street, so lots of road noise. We didn't order off the menu for our meeting, but we were served a delicious charcuterie style plate. Despite the outdated decor, I'd like to go back for dinner based on how good charcuterie plate was.

Excellent calamari frit which was very light and accompanying marinara sauce was good as well. Pasta dishes were very good and portions were generous. Clam pasta with We couldn’t finish. The restaurant has good old neighborhood family run Italian atmosphere.

First, I have to say the staff was nice and had to hustle, but they did it with a smile. The food was not the greatest. My son's family goes there every year for Easter. Year one, I don't remember what I ordered, but the food was excellent. Last year, I ordered the steak, and it was dry, but I ate most of it. This year, I ordered the stuffed fish. It was horrible. Way to much lemon and salt. I told the young man waiting on us. But evidently, they didn't care. The waiter just said he told them, and he was sorry. That speaks volumes.

Before visiting, I called to ask if they accepted walk-ins and if they had a gluten-free menu since my friend has celiac disease. The guy on the phone was quite rude but assured me they had a gluten-free menu. However, upon arrival, we were told they didn't have one at all, leaving my friend with celiac disease with very limited choices. The food was mediocre at best. My chicken parm had a strange aftertaste. To top it off, we waited an unreasonable 20 minutes for our check in an almost empty restaurant. Overall, I probably wouldn’t recommend.
