Carls Jr has an automated machine take the order at the drive thru. It's frustrating. It works ok but does seem like it take longer to take the order.
I only stopped in for a cup of coffee and was greeted by a very friendly employee. Don't find that kind of customer service much anymore. Coffee was good too.
To the woman in the Night time drive thru ur the real MVP!! She is so sweet and just seems like a legit nice person :) thank you for the amazing service 🙏 10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ just for her :) food good too :D
I go to the one in Alpine and them.Ladies are just awesome, very, very professional.They get slammed and they just tackle it.Never in a hurry when I go there.I enjoy watching them talking to them.And the food is always just like the picture Sired with a smile and thank you Hope to see you again and they do
Its my local Carls Jr. The youth there look new. They are doing a great job filling big shoes in these times. Give all young new workers some slack or new workers who are trying their best at a new job. These young workers are our future and hope. Give a smile and thank you for being there. Its a tough job and I couldnt do it. I love Carls Jr., its tasty and affordable. Keeping America Strong!
We went through the drive up. A little waiting time. We used a coupon which is always good these days!! Customer service was good. Order was correct. There was a barrier between us and the cashier. Their hamburgers I think are big compared to McDonald's! We ordered in Alpine and we were going to El Cajon. Our food was still warm when we got home!!!! Very rare even with fast foods by our house. Covid-19 affects this because you get dine in right now.
Consistently good all around and reliable for the 20+ years I've been eating here. Nice and quiet, and food is always consistent. That's why I keep coming back.
We haven't been to Carls Jr for a long long time. We saw charbroil deal so we decided to try one. We picked the jalapeño burger and were pleasantly surprised! It wasn't huge but it was the right size for the deal. Its delicious and affordable. Will definitely go back for seconds!!
My go-to place for fast food. The people that work at this restaurant actually care about what they do and the sandwiches are good. The Green Burrito combo company with Carl's is not so good and I wouldn't recommend any of the Mexican food. I wish that they had a breakfast sandwich that use croissants instead of those heavy biscuits. But the Superstar with cheese is the winner for me
I found my visit here on a cool evening in June to be very pleasant. Clean, quiet, savory, and tasty would perfectly sum up my dining experience. It was a weeknight and the Memphis BBQ sandwich was the special promo available at the time. Marie and the entire crew on shift did a slam dunk of a job on my order. The burger was on point, and the crisscut fries were as crisp as Stephen Curry doing a crossover on an opposing player. Yes, it was that good... The pulled pork is very much on my mind to this day. Thank you everyone!
This is what burgers should taste like. Lettuce and onions always fresh makes a difference. Friendly and prompt staff welcome you as you walk in. Food cooked in a timely matter! Thank you

The service was amazing, the staff was really nice and welcoming. The food tasted great, I’ve gone to many Carl’s Jr. but this one specifically has been the best one I’ve gone to in years. Definitely would recommend this store and I’m for sure going back without a doubt.
Amazing atmosphere! It’s extremely clean and kept up super well. The staff are so kind and professional. Haven’t been to this Carl’s jr. in years but i’d definitely return and recommend. It has improved over the years for sure! Food was fresh and made per order. Loved it!! I recommend this store 100%
I went to the Carl's Jr. In Alpine with 4 orders for 4 people. The orders were varied and mixed, but the young lady at the drive through was totally on the ball. As she gave me the food, she told me what was in each bag (there were three bags). This was really awesome and, I felt, just top-notch service. I went through the drive through a little after 7 pm on September 12th 2021.
The lady at the fast food window was nice and friendly with a genuine smile. Awesome. Order was correct. Food was awesome! The value, well you can't get everything you want but it was decent.
I had such a good experience at the drive thru today, the young man at the window was so incredibly nice I wish I had asked his name. The food however was not even mediocre. The tomatoes on my burger were rotten but my husband liked his western bacon cheeseburger so it wasn't all bad.
All those I encountered were fantastic, my food was hot and delicious!

The hamburgers are good and juicy ,and I like their lettuce wrap option. Their sides like the zucchini and jalapeno poppers make a great combo.
The restaurant was clean, bathrooms were clean and the customer service I have to say was very efficient. The manager was very attentive to all the orders, to the customers and her employees. I was actually surprised that although it’s a food restaurant they all made us feel like we were at home. Food was great, my orders are always complicated and they managed to take care of me and my husband. They greeted me and smiled the whole time. I was actually very impressed.
Long wait, food at most ok, over priced. Weird AI ordering. Very friendly staff. Food has a weird after taste, the soda seems watered down, more ice than beverage.
The service is kind of fast and the people working are normally pretty friendly. I used to have problems with order accuracy a few years ago. But not within the past year or so. They must have figured out the problem and fixed it
The food was good. Dislike having to use the computer to order very impersonal and that people who pay cash have to wait till an empty is free to take their orders. Bathroom smelled like being at the fish markets down at the water
Polite and quick. Every time I've gone it's been superb service with a pretty good hamburger. I'm basic and get a western burger every time; they make it 4/5. It's a bit pricey, I miss $5 westerns.

Food was good for taste. I got the Jalapeno burger. Not sure of the nutritional value I received from it but I didn't feel the need to visit the restroom right after like some places. I don't recommend replacing a meal with fast food unless it's once in a great while. Luckily the item I got was on promotion or I don't think I would have ordered from Carl's. The drive thru was quick, efficient, and professional.

Open until 2am, right off the freeway, and with a pretty quick drive through, this I a great fast food option for the area. Too bad there aren't anymore $6 Burgers for $3.99...or $6....or $8. It IS more expensive than similar fast food.
this would be a 5 star establishment if they would reject the AI drive thru and allow me to order with a human. i drive 500 miles everyday and rely on fast food restaurants to supply me with what little human contact I receive and I do not appreciate hearing a robotic woman. I know I am getting replaced by bots myself, and I want to hold onto these moments.
Drive through guy was less than competent and had a line of over 10 cars because he couldn't listen very well to orders and kept screwing them up every time you'd say something. But the food was good so it got 3 stars.
This location was sub-par. I know most fast food restaurants are known for mediocre quality. But this location takes the cake. Not only did they not get my special requests correct, they charged me for food and left some of the items out. I had to drive back and get them. I could understand this sort of error during peak times, but this was not that time. On top of that, you could tell the staff member was annoyed that I came back and requested the missing items and that they redo my special request items. The corrected order was not even that good.
Regular fast food place. Although maybe I should have ranked them higher for not messing my order up. I typically order food with no onions or tomatoes for burgers. Needless to say it gets messed up alot, but these guys did good.
I guess I've outgrown their burgers. Got a regular burger...nothing to write home about.i was getting hangry so stopped. Gotta say...if you like their burgers, this location is a great option. The staff were amazing. Cashier went the extra mile by sincerely asking about my day. Then looked me in the eyes listening to me. I'll go back just because of the staff.
The overall state of this particular store is just above a failing grade. I often eat here out of necessity, yet every time I go I am not sure what kind of service I will get. On some days, the staff is amazing, and the food is great. Lettuce wrapped burgers can often throw off a crew, but they can push out some amazing results. On other days, they blatantly steal from me by giving me cheaper food when I pay for the more expensive items, then have the nerve to say that I had ordered what they gave me over the phone. I am tempted to drive down and get the food corrected, but I am not in the mood and don't want to blow up over something as ridiculous as an overpriced McDonald's burger. While I may have recommended them earlier, I cannot say that I am satisfied with my service. The only saving grace might be the app, which I will try to use from now on, but if I have to order through my phone to get the food right then there is something seriously wrong with this location. I am sorry for the Carl's Jr franchise that they have to have their name sullied by this.
Generally the food is okay, I have had a lot of food mix ups and once but into a meat patty when I ordered veggie. The soda is flat often. But the employees are generally nice and the line goes pretty fast. The parking lot and lobby are pretty tidy.
You need to remove the automatic order taker. I hate it because it doesn't allow you to special order And it's very impersonal
Carl’s Jr. is hit or miss for me. The food is usually decent and the burgers are flavorful, but the quality can be inconsistent depending on the location or time of day. Service is generally fine, though sometimes a bit slow, and the restaurant isn’t always the cleanest. Not terrible by any means, but not my first choice either. Solid middle-of-the-road experience.
We stopped for a break in driving, went inside to order, and asked for our order to go. I had to wait a very long time. Customers inside received their orders much more slowly than the people going through the drive-through. Ordered the western burger and asked for no bbq sauce and substitute mayo. Of course when we got on the road l found that they had NOT honored my request. Burger was just so-so. Not a fan.
No coffee ?? Really. When we arrived the employees were gabbing about a ride customer. Apparently whoever does the ordering didn't order coffee filters so no coffee. The ketchup dispenser was empty , tables were dirty. The girl that said she was the "manager" but not responsible for anything said the night shift was to blame. Really disappointed Carl's..
Asked for the 2 for 3$ chicken sandwich deal. they said they were sold out. So I thought I would be a smart ass and ask for 2 chicken sandwiches. Well it came to 3.72$ and they had them. Now i ask for the manager and ask what's the big idea your clerk said your sold out but it is the same exact sandwich as the single that you are not sold out of. The manager gave me some bizaro dumb extremely hard to believe story about the patties for the deal being shipped and sold in seperate packaging from the patties for the single ones even though they are the same exact sandwich prepared exactly the same way after they are taken out of the package. I told the manager it was a BS story and I wasn't believing it. they then over rode the price and sold me the 2 for 3$ deal. Don't trust them and if I'm in the area again im likely to go somewhere else.
I got a kids meal and the burger was not hot. The fries barely warm....I'm bummed. Not many people here. I thought burgers were grilled when ordered. Mine clearly was not...the cashier dude was very pleasant and polite and brought my food quickly.
Staff seemed disorganized. I don't think they had enough people working for their location being so close to an exit/entrance to the freeway. My order took almost 20 minutes from order to delivery. Despite saying the order was for here and having the table flag, they almost handed my order to someone else and the customer almost accepted. SMH!! The two 'older' than me ladies working the counter were nice but disoriented. On top of this, the lady informs me their out of ranch(I ordered zucchini).
Today 2/27 the quality of service and food suffered. I ordered two Oreo shakes and when they were handed to me, both of them looked like they had been spilled or something. Maybe returned by someone else? They were sloppy and not completely filled. I was told that they come pre-packeged. When I called to let management know they offered to remake them. Remake them? I was initially told they come pre-packaged. Unacceptable. Not returning for awhile and if I do I will not accept this. I use to think that Carls' Jr was the premier fast food. Not this time!!
Order took 15 minutes to be ready. The burgers had shredded lettuce, really? No sweet pickles in 6 dollar burger. This place make up their own rules or are out of standard ingredients. Food was ok, not bad but could be better.
Staff working there were unpleasant and seemed like they didn't want to work there. I work in customer service and my family and I are always so nice to everyone. My husband had gone up to ask for a couple sauces and was told he had to pay for them. He asked for 1 BBQ sauce and 1 Ranch and we were charged $1.10. I get that there is a limit but it's not like he asked for 10 sauces. When he asked about the charge the person told him "The owner of this Carls Jr charges for sauces, we don't make the rules. Do you want them or not". My Stepdads burger was cold and my husbands chicken tenders were more bread than chicken... We had previously been to this Carls Jr 6 months prior and did NOT have the same experience. Hopefully it was just a one time thing or that they were having a bad day..
Went to get a gift card, one person was ahead of me in line. go to counter quickly and waited for someone to help me. took approximately 3 min. Asked for $25 gift card and was told to hold on. Turns out the guy didn't know how to ring them up. No problem i said and waited patiently. After a few more minutes he returned and rang me up, then began looking for the actual cards. He had no idea where they were and promptly asked the manager where they were. the two of them spent over 10 minutes looking for gift cards. finally finding them behind a bucket by where the food comes from the kitchen. Usually a gift card purchase takes seconds to a minute or two, not over 15. Not a great experience.
Food was barely edible, with onion rings that seemed to have plastic onions in them, and one thin strip of green chili on my Santa Fe chicken sandwich didnt help. The service was horrible. 3 customers in the place and 5 or 6 employees, but it took forever for someone to take my order...but the employees sure seemed to be having a good time
I’ve tried the chicken club twice lately and it’s just not good anymore. The hamburger is still charbroiled but the chicken breast tastes like it was frozen, defrosted in microwave and slapped between a huge bun. Tasteless! And they used to have a healthier whole wheat bun and now an egg bun. Terrible! I’ll never buy it again. Fake bacon on it too.
$15 for 1 breaded Chicken Sandwich with fries and a water bottle.Then it took about ten or fifteen minutes to get with only 2 people ahead of me in line.
There was one other couple in front of us and the employees took at least 10 drive thru orders before taking their. order. And she was the shift lead. I put in my order through the app before the couple in front of us put in their order, we waited 12 minutes.
My son and his friend have been through this drive through several times and ordered $20-$30 worth of food. When they ask for a few ranch dressings for their fries and sandwiches , they are told they can only have 1 ranch per car ! Multiple people ordering should not have to share 1 ranch dressing. Also My son has ordered and paid for a double burger both times and they have only given him a single.
I ordered a homestyle chicken sandwich. Was given basic chicken sandwich( no lettuce etc). Also asked for Dr Pepper and got a coke. Worker had a best of best shirt on. More like worst of worst.
They post that it's 24 hour but really it's not. I ordered two moonshine burgers and I get two patties with pickles and onions. Nothing at all what it's advertised. Or they just messed up my order. And paid almost 15 bucks for this crap. I go back to return my food and they are closed, go figure.
I was a regular here, but I’ve had enough. Check your order, and if they mess it up (they will) just get a refund. This location needs to feel the financial pain and start firing people.
Even for a Carl's Jr, this was pretty bad. Food was a three star. All the sodas were flat or tasted bad. I let the girl working know and she assured me that she tasted it and all the sodas were normal. She thought it was 'funny that everyone keeps complaining about it.'

Hash browns both tasted moldy, first soda which was root beer was super watered down, second soda was Dr. Pepper, still watered down but not as bad. Both were filled so full that I spilled all over my shirt and shorts. Could barely hear person on speaker. Have tried calling now 5 times over an hours time and getting a busy signal. Usually we have no issues here, but today was horrible.

Went to order just some chicken tenders and a burger, nothing to crazy. And the cashier told us to pull up. When she brought our food it was all the wrong order so we walked it over to the other car waiting. They didn't want it as it had been touched by us already so we drove up to the window to let her know after waiting for our food for 20 minutes she gave us attitude because we didn't have the order she gave us as the other people had thrown it away. Super bad attitude and super rude.
The staff was extremely rude Use the drive thru. Shake was made like water Ask to redo it and they refuse Instead the person in charge gave me money back with a negative attitude. And then ask for my receipt and the employee also gave me an attitude problem. They really have a problem with bad employees. I rather go to jack in the box which is the next exit on the highway if you are heading west. My rating is a big fat ZERO stars.
Biscuit sausage was SALTY, wife ordered a coffee and couple of the half and half creamers were spoiled, went to let the manager and she didn't said anything about it, no apology, nothing. Will never go back to this Carl's Junior again.
Went through drive thru and manager was very rude when asked for jalapenos and ketchup. We then asked for the manager's name and corporate office number. She refused to give her name or the number saying it's private information and asked us to leave because there was a big line behind us. So we pulled around and found the information on the door. We then called corporate. I will never go there again. That is horrible customer service. I suggest that the staff needs to be retrained in customer service. I used to work in customer service and a customer should not be given the bad treatment I had.
There were alot of issues with the restaurant. There was a stark contrast between the surrounding area which was beautiful vs the inside of the restaurant itself. The restrooms were in disgusting shape. The floors throughout the seating area were sticky and needed to be mopped. The customer service was slow even though the place was empty, the soda was flat, and their chicken sandwiches left a bad taste in my mouth. We only stopped in the middle of our road trip but regretted it soon after.
Two workers and one was on the phone walking back and forth through the store. She opened the back exit while wearing gloves that she was making the food with. Order was incorrect and had to be remade.
Went through the drive through and ordered food. Then my man went inside to use the restroom and they wouldn't let him because he left the receipt in the car. We literally just drove through the drive through. This is terrible customer service.
I placed my order in the drive thru. Not only was I rushed through my order but kept having to tell the girl I wasn't done... once at the window I was hed the car in front of me receive 2 bags, they dug through them then returned them, The customer pulled to the front to wait for their food. As I approached I payed, then they tried handing me the same food... during a pandemic and when we are trying to do all this contact less sales and food sales especially, they took zero consideration for the cross contamination and sanitation in their food distribution. I am now sitting in front waiting for my food. Once I asked for the manager she reacted very nasty about the whole situation and reacted horribly. Luckily the shift leader working at 12:23 came out with our order and apologized for his incompetent coworker and rude supervisor. Not what you expect in Alpine
This is probably the sh@test Carl's I been too. I wait 15 mins for a breakfast burger combo. I watched as the 2 front cashier. Didnt say one word to each other. The little lady was grabbing anything and throwing it in bags. The big guy got the left overs and had to wait for the back to make more food. The manager was useless. She just let it happen. She just yelled at them, telling them they did something wrong.
We ordered breakfast, country gravy and biscuit width country burrito. Enough salt to blow my heart up, the gravy wasn't even fully cooked. We waited 20 minutes to get this order. After which, we asked for a fix, we waited another 40 minutes. They never fixed it. We just left.
The one in Alpine stinks! Don't go there if your in a hurry want hot food or want your order correct. In the last 8 years we've tried giving the benefit of the doubt, new workers,under staffed, too busy, too slow, new owners. Didn't matter, it was always and has always been the same result. Terrible. Don't waste your time. I hate being so negative, but they've had 8 years to get their stuff worked out. No more excuses.
They won’t let you in the restaurant.... mask or no mask.... but two different employees tell me to walk through the drive thru?!!! Asked if they could take my order, they refused! Your seriously opening yourself up to lawsuits, telling people to walk in front of cars!! Will NEVER spend my hard earned money at Carl’s Jr. ever again!! There’s plenty of competition!!
**READ** THIS LOCATION IS DISGUSTING. The manager told me that they are only required to was their hands at the beginning of the shift and use hand sanitizer every TWO HOURS. I am so disgusted, I will never eat there agian. She touched the doors, that every customer walks through and the trash and then my fries... gross
UPDATE - Changing my review to 1 star from 2 stars. I didn't think this place could get any worse, but sadly it's never been as bad as it is now. I even have health concerns eating here which means I'm officially done. Carl's Jr. you need to burn this place to the ground, build a new one, and hire all new staff. Otherwise, there is no saving this dump with employees that have no clue what they are doing. This place is horrible, not because of the food necessarily, but because of poor management and employees that seem to just not care at all. There's always an issue when I go to this location. Either the service is painstakingly slow or they get an order wrong or they are out of basic items to make a burger or their credit card machine is broken and they don't tell you until you arrive at the window, etc. I've had to change my order 3 times before because everything I wanted to order couldn't be made due to not having the ingredients to make them. Also, they have a bright flashing sign that says "Drive-Thru Open 24hrs" but believe me, that is not the case. Most nights they are closed by 11pm, but some nights they really are 24/7. I would tell you to call ahead, but when you try to call, all you get is a recorded message that says, "we're sorry, the voicemail box at this number has not been set up yet." So if you go late at night, you're rolling the dice on whether they will actually be open or not. The McDonalds down the road closes at their advertised times. I really like Carls Jr. in general, but this location needs new management. Something clearly isn't right.
Food wasn’t super fresh. Asked for well done and well it wasn’t. Pretty sure the patty i received was not meant for the burger I ordered.

Terrible customer service. I called to ask for the supervisor person who answered the phone claimed to be one of the managers which I didn’t believe her, I asked for the managers name and she pause for a minute, and she said her name is Matilda that she was not in at the moment which I think is a lie too. Woman spoke broken English, and looked very unhappy to be working there. I can see why this particular restaurant is always empty. Workers are mean rude fries were soggy cold greasy do not recommend this place. I will now be coming back to this Place, but if you do beware with the customer service in quality of the food.
They have gone to automated drive thru order taking system that is terrible. The owner is probably making a few extra dollars in profits by eliminating a human beings job but those dollars will not come from me ever again. The frustration of trying to get a correct order isn't worth. I will never return.
Food was not fresh I got the hand breaded chicken sandwich and you could tell it had been sitting out because it was stale. Fries not fresh either. Get it together Alpine Carls Jr. $14 combo not worth it.
I'm hoping the owner will ditch this AI program they've got going on there. It's awful. I can't stand it. And I'm not gonna get used to it. I'm just not gonna go in anymore If it stays in place . And then I have to go in to order one time. And a girl was standing there doing nothing. I asked if she could take my order because I didn't want to mess with their new self input keyboards there. I was in a hurry kind of flustered. And I just didn't want to do it. She said no, she was going home and she couldn't do it........ really!!?.....! OK, so enough for the negative stuff.I do have to say they have an employee there.That is really saved the day I don't know his name.He's a Hispanic man, probably in is 30s.Really nice guy He has saved the day from this AI thing several times. Hopefully everybody knows that AI is for artificial intelligence.That's a complete oxymoron.If you ask me. By the way, I never do reviews. And one more thing, I'm reading this restaurant extremely low because of the AI situation, not necessarily the employees.Well except for that one stupid girl.

i went through the drive through and wow the employees are LAZY! they use Ai and it made my newborn cry then we pulled in to the parking lot and went inside my blind 82 year old elderly mother went to use the washroom and they made her pay for a something to use the restroom so we bought a small cocacola for $3.00 USD! crazy right a small coke and employees are quite rude and floor was dirty do not recommend a visit to this carls jr!!!
Have to be a customer to pee and then charger you like a dollar fifty in taxes, just to pee, so just pee on the floor. Also she thought I needed to be aware that they don’t clean there bathrooms often and was just so rude and was like searching for a argument so I’d just say to skip this place all together they aren’t worth your money. Support business that support thier people.Restrooms are thier for a reason who are you to decide if someone is worth being able to pee there or not
I think they need a new coffee Maker. I am not Is impressed. Not one to drink strong coffee, but it only took One coffee cream for it to turn white. Their coffee is watered down Not nice!! Coffee needs to be stronger. I wasted my time & could of just stopped at the store. Thought I'd make things easier for my self 😔
Worst customer service in Alpine! My husband and I picked up food from there last night. We were the only car at the drive thru, yet they still had us park in the front to wait for our food. We waited for 10 minutes. We get our food and no ketchup or ranch that we requested at the drive thru. The drink that came with our meal tasted like soda water. The restaurant part is closed due to Covid so we had to get in line at the drive thru to get the condiments that we asked for earlier and to get our drink replaced. We then get home and the filet chicken sandwiches that we ordered had hardly any mayonnaise. After what happened last night and previous bad experiences, we will never come back. It amazes me that this place is still in business. Their food and service sucks!! 👎👎
Multiple issues. Service in the drive through was super slow. I asked for a PLAIN, NOTHING but meat and cheese on 1 cheeseburger kids meal, and they stuck ketchup on it anyway. Fries were limp and soggy and half cold when given. Had to ask multiple times until by the 4th time, i had to raise my voice to be heard, which i get it, it's noisy in there, but if a person is ordering 5 plus drinks, a drink caddy should be offered. this was my second time going there and so far, both times have had bad experiences so we will not be going back.
Well don't think I'll be coming back, I placed my order came around to the drive thru window paid. When I was asked what kind of condiments I wanted, I asked for ranch and if I could have 3, The women told me" no we don't have that," then proceeded to place whatever condiment she had in her hands In my bag, I asked what's that you put in my bag she said it house dressing. I said that was fine but can I get a 3rd she snaped at me and said "No only 2" I said if I have to pay I can I will pay for the extra, she said "NO" only 2. Then proceeded to talk with her co works and hold my bag out the window not looking at me. I'm not sure how asking for an extra dressing I was perfectly fine paying extra for warranted her being firm with me and treating me disrespectful. But there it is. I can spend my money elsewhere, her name was Juana , Patricia at least that's what's on the receipt. Whoever owns this location really should retrain staff working here how to appropriately interact with customers, or just go a head and have your AI run the whole restaurant not just drive through ordering.
It doesn’t matter what time of day you come to the store they have you pull forward so they get a good time on their orders
I drive into alpine for work a couple times a week and this location has been hit or miss at best when it comes to what kind of experience they provide. Today (10/08/25) I ordered a single western and “new” Cali XL. It’s basically a coin toss in whether or not you’re going to get a decent burger or a flat, wet, and honestly—gross burger. The Cali XL was a soggy biscuit of trash. In addition to the questionable slop they feed you, the drive thru wasn’t even busy yet took a solid 10-15 minutes to get through. I recently took a road trip and stopped at a few Carls Jr’s and was shocked of how not shitty the food was. This location actually just is awful and I still love the brand…elsewhere.
Horrible. They didn’t have the soda I wanted so they “comped” it off but then when I asked for the drinks they said “you didn’t want the drinks” and gave me nothing. Absolutely ludicrous pricing for absolutely god awful service. Normally this location is very accommodating, but whomever is scheduled tonight, 10.22.25 hates life and their job. I hope other people do not have to experience this person as they are unkind and unwilling to compromise when their corporate/management doesn’t give them the tools to succeed. If this person is working, I’m going to just drive away/leave the restaurant. Absolutely horrible. Horrible. Horrible experience. Update: Rawley is the employee who did this. I had to come back for items they forgot on my order. They literally had other sodas that I said would be a good replacement for Dr. pepper and told me I can’t have them because “I wanted the food, but not the sodas.” This is the absolute. Most. Ludicrous. Response to asking for a replacement for what wasn’t available. That apathy I was given when I came back for the items I ACTUALLY paid for was unacceptable. If you come here and Rawley is working, don’t expect kindness or understanding. They do. Not. Care. Update #2: upon returning home, my fiancé explained that the ONE time their order at this location was wrong, was also Rawley. Apparently the amount of chicken stars, the soda size and type were all wrong. That incident, no compensation was offered or provided and Rawley refused to provide their managers name. I grew up in alpine and have been visiting this location with NO ISSUES. This is the first time I have ever wanted to write a review in 30 years. That is how awful Rawley treated us. I don’t know if it is ineptitude or just apathy for the Alpine community, but Rawley is personally, single handed bringing down this Carl’s Jr.
Tried to read the breakfast menu. It flashed on the board for less than 5 seconds. Then it changed to an ad for a longer period of time. I became frustrated so I left. I hope all Carl's Jr. aren't like that. It appears the company is more interested in an add than providing the customer with support in ordering. To top it off, when the employee was aware of the situation, she wasn't even concerned or apologized.
The JARRING AI voice taking my order turned me off before I even ordered. The human interactions were great but NOT the AI ordering. PLEASE GET RID OF AI
First time at this Carl's Jr, unfortunately, I will be the last. The food wasn't good. We tried the fish sandwich, not a good idea, flavorless and soggy. We also got a burger, asked for no ketchup, it was drowning in it. The fries were cold. The milkshake had big hard chunks of ice crystals in it. Most of this ended up in the trash.
My bill was $37 one of the items I requested was a lettuce wrapped bacon Swiss chicken sandwich this is what I got in the pictures. Not lettuce wrapped no bacon and the chicken I couldn't bite into it it was very stiff. I had them redo the sandwich. When I tried to give the sandwich back the worker said or rather screamed Corona he said just keep it here's the other sandwich make sure it's correct. I also ordered a child's star chicken combo. The child wanted a shake. I asked what the upcharge was but I did not get an answer instead I was asked if I wanted to shake rather than the drink that it comes with. In my receipt I was charged a regular shake 3.99... did not get a child's drink with a combo. So you can imagine how disappointed I was with the visit. When I tried to walk in to have them correct the sandwich their doors were locked and they ignored me. As I walked back to the car I noticed one of the workers was outside giving bags to a waiting customer.I hope never to return to this location again.
